Ellie walked down to the courtyard. It was okay, now. It had gotten warmer, the air had gotten fresher, coats and jackets weren't necessary... Late spring was a good time of year.

She didn't exactly have a plan in mind when coming to the courtyard, but she had her bat in her hand. She just missed it, really. And she'd barely held it since summer. With each step, the bat hit against her thigh.

Maybe she'd just pass through..
