Giving the girl sitting there a little wave, she closed the door behind her 'Do you mind if I sit with you?' she asked quietly, fiddling wither her jumper as she spoke. Hailey walked down the train, dropping into the first empty compartment she saw; there wasn't that many left but it saved her from having to deal with stupid people who seemed to be rather concerned with themselves rather than anyone else. She dropped her bag on the seat beside her, taking out her rather torn up copy of Romeo & Juliet and started to read it once more, it was only a matter of time now until her brothers showed up and she needed some peace before then.

Patroclus hated the feeling of walking whilst the trai nwas moving, but it served him right. He had only just made the train. It was typical that the day he needed to be up early, was the frist time he had slept in all summer break.

"I do like the concept however, the idea of having a love that's not allowed by either family definitely seems like it can be applied to modern times." she looked at the boy who sat down, then set her book down on the seat.
"Are you a fan of Shakespeare perhaps?" Hailey asked curiously, crossing her right leg over her left and smoothing her robes over her knee; she was going to introduce herself eventually however for now, she would discuss one of the greatest writers in the English language.

Arya was sure that his draping his coat over her was his atempts to get her to sleep too. She was too excited about returning to Hogwarts to even think about sleeping now, though she did welcome the coat and let her eyes rest on the their cats as she snuggled back against him. Her need to talk to him, however, did not go away with his actions. The girl was growing more curious as to the reason for his unnatural silence. The thought that something had happened over the summer crossed her mind and she was about ask him another slew of questions, curiosity growing when somthing stopped her.
The waving in the compartment door's glass grabed Arya's attention, and she looked away from the two cats, a smile stretching across her face when she noticed her best friend. Anything that she was going to say to Sabel had been pushed to the back of her mind in that moment. Nodding her head for the Ravenclaw to enter, she began to fiddle with the pouch around her neck. Lucky for Sabel, Ivory's pressence had distracted her from his distantness and reminded her of other things she had planned to do in Diagon, but was unable to.

Oh he was forgiven! This was good news for the Gryffindor boy for people usually did not forgive him easily for all the trouble he caused, especially his mother. So smiling up at the girl, he nodded to show that he understood what she said about overreacting. Both sides did a mistake as it appeared to be yet as it was proven now there was nothing to be unable to make up for. ''Well, that's okay too.'' he said ''But there would have been no need to overreact, if i had not been a jerk'' and grinning over his words he leaned towards her when she brought up the topic of him being the master of everything.
''I am ready to prove it anytime, anywhere, in any way. Just tell me what you want me to do...i'm sure i can do it''. Yes, he had always been that overly confident boy and he was proud of this feature of him. Then he smiled again, wider this time, when she guessed that he was a firstie. Well...maybe he really acted like a firstie wandering in the corridors to find a chocolate and someone to play with however he was still that fifteen year old mischievous boy.
What was more funny that how she checked his year. This totally made him laugh when she touched his nose and knocked on his head. Hehe. She was funny. ''Actually i am a fourth year Gryffindor'' he replied once his laughter was over ''I did not attend the school right away when i got my letter. A spent one more year in Muggle school and started Hogwarts one year behind for...'' he was not sure if he wanted to talk about this so he decided to cut it short ''...whatever. How about you?''
Jerk? He wasn't being a jerk probably silly. She hated to say it but..he was kind of, just a teensy bit, behaving like his brother. Not that she wants him to be her brother or anything. "Not many jerks owe up to their mistakes so I wouldn't classify you in the 'jerk' category." Why does this sound cheesy? "One second.." She signified a one with her finger and reached for her bag, stuck her hand inside and fumbled for the turkey sandwiches her mother made. Ahah! there they were, sitting in a corner alone. "All right, so listen up. This sandwich is a peace treaty between you and I. If you eat this sandwich, you agree that you wouldn't make me angry ever again...." Ever again appears to be a bit serious, isn't it? "..no, forget that just make sure not to do it again while I'm at Hogwarts." She smiled at him friendlily and handed him the sandwich wrapped in aluminum foil, unwrapping hers with one hand as she did so.
"Someones being overconfident." She replied with a wink before taking a bite out of the sandwich. His next words almost made her choke on her food. How can he agree to prove it? "Don't say that, your mother wouldn't be very pleased. Imagine if I asked you to run around the school naked?" *Shudder* How gross of her to even say that and he won't do it, not for his sake but for the others.
She nodded her head, nibbling her sandwich while Joshua told his year once his guffaw subsided. She was actually joking about the firstie thingy, he seemed older enough to be in her year or even ahead. "Oh fourth year, I'm a fifth. I joined Hogwarts after being home-schooled all my life though I'm not a loser or anything. I was a naughty kid so mommy never sent me to school." Why the sudden change of heart mother dearest? She listened further to what Joshua was saying but something caught her off-guard. 'Behind for *pause* whatever', he's trying to HIDE something. Shrugging, she decided to let it go for now. "A random question Joshua, what house do you think I'd be sorted into?" She has been asking that question to everyone she meets and none of their answers seems to satisfy her.
Daisy smiled, "I'm just people watching. It's somepthing the French like to do." Nodded, "But yeah, I could use some company. Care to join me Knight of Gryffindor?" She smiled as he bowed before her and squeeled, "Oooh chocolate truffls. My second favorite candy." She took them and popped one in her mouth. YUM! he swallowed it an then walked into her compartment. "So any luck with finding a girlfriend ladies man?"
" Ok, I believe you are just people watching ' Rex told Daisy. He did not really believe her. " I would love to join you mi lady" Rex said to Daisy. " I am glad you like the truffles" Rex smiled. " The Knight of Gryffindor" helps save girls and ladies, but not a ladies man" Rex explained to Daisy.

“I had to get your attention somehow, especially if all the arm waving didn’t work,” Demarcus stated, carefully side-stepping so he wouldn’t accidentally startle his cat and cause an explosion that smelled a hundred times worse than a dungbomb. “She’ll follow us if we go find a compartment, I think. I’m pretty sure it’s the muffin that lured her over here. … Or maybe she just likes you a lot. I can totally see why.”
All cats totally liked their owner’s best friends. Duh!
It was impossible to miss the reaction Demarcus had had when she'd reached up to pet Draco, even though Grayson'd barely even noticed he was there at the time. She was too tuned in to the reactions people made when she did things, especially since often those things meant she needed to figure out a way out of trouble. Luckily, it seemed he realized she wasn't about to pet the cat as she heard him sigh. She knew way too much about it, at least as far as she was concerned. Almost like she expected the cat to bite, except it was worse than that. And she couldn't even sit on her trunk or anything, as she figured even that little movement would startle the kitty. She was stuck.
But she grinned a little at his response. "I don't think anyone could miss you flailing." At least he hadn't ran headlong into her, like had happened who knew how many times last year. Maybe his cat was good for something. Other than terrifying her by continuing to wind around her feet. But at his musing about the reason, she hurriedly put the last of the poor baked good in her mouth. Out of sight, out of mind, or at least she hoped her eating the last of it would free her to move again. It seemed so far it hadn't worked, and she glanced at Demarcus again as she swallowed, one hand still stroking Draco. "I'm not sure if that could be considered a compliment," she said slowly, before letting her neck swivel more to intentionally glance at her trunk on the floor of the corridor behind her. "I'd been looking for a compartment, but so far hadn't found one." Explaining the fact she'd been dragging her luggage the whole time. She'd never really liked the idea of the luggage car, her things being that far away. Not to mention the fact she'd need to change into her school robes before the train stopped. And she hadn't found any compartments she could invade either, unless she just hadn't been paying attention. Now she just wanted the so-far-not-farting cat to stop attaching itself to her, and she looked at Demarcus again with almost pleading eyes. It was his cat, so he could make it so she could move again. As far as she knew.

Enya smiled at Bradin. "I know you would, I believe in you." She looked over at their cats. Starla had laid her head on top of tigger's and was falling asleep on him. "Awww, look at that!"
"I'm a first year." She replied honestly, taking the sweet. "And nervous as heck. So what year are you?" She asked, before popping the sweet in her mouth.

She apparently still had some doubts over him. Pfft, like she never did mistakes. Her most recent and biggest mistake was Carter for one, and and older mistake was leaving him. But he was already over these issues, and he didn't care any more. "Relax, Marie. We have quite a lot of time until Christmas. I have to talk to my parents first." They were going on holiday and he was staying at the school. He had to find someone to take care of him at home while they were away. "Look, I do want to see her as soon as possible. But things between me and my parents are still a little tense, and... yeah." He wasn't going into any more details. "But thanks for your concern. I'll figure it out." He nodded seriously. If Mina was coming back at Christmas, he'd even stay at Josh's house to see her.
Marie almost smiled when Evan said she was an exception.Well of course she was, she was exceptionally... well she didn't know what but she knew she was exceptionally something. "When are you going to realize that I'm not leaving? Sure I tried not coming back last term because of you but my parents made me come back, and sure I tried not coming back this term because of Carter but my parents AND the Lawson's made me come back. So it looks like no matter how much I try NOT to come back I will be back." Yep, Evan was stuck with her as a housemate unless he was the one to leave.
"Good, glad you got it out of your system," she said. She really didn't want to listen to him go on and on about how he had been right.
"I never said you didn't like her... I just don't want to see you make the same mis... never mind." she said. She was going to tell him she didn't want to see him make the same mistake he made with her by not writing, but the last she remembered he didn't think that had been a mistake. Besides, why bring it up now, it was in the past and surly he wouldn't be foolish enough to do that again. "Yeah you're right, you have plenty of time to write to her." She said feeling all sad and depressed again. He would be with Mina for Christmas and she would be with no one... well her family but not with Carter. She hugged her legs close to her as she laid her head on her knees and looked out the window. This term was going to suck for her. She had lost her boyfriend (to her best friend) and her best friend all in one day.
