Seeing her dress Kay didn't know what to say. It was beautiful. It was a raindow of coloer and it caught the light when it moved. "Oh Rex. It's so great. Thank you." Kay said jumping up and hugging him. Kissing him she just couldn't wait to go to the Dance and wear her dress. "If I am going to wear this beautiful dress, what will you be wearing?" She asked.

I am glad you love the dress" Rex told Kay. " You look so beautful ' Rex said to Kay.
Here is what I am wearing" Rex explained to Kay.

Looking at what he was wearing Kay was in shock. "You...Really? You will look great." She said not taking her eyes off of what he was going to wear. "You sure your going with me?" She asked.

" Thank you sweetie" Rex told Kay. " I am posifive I am going with the cutest girl in HogWarts" Rex said to Kay. "We will be the best dressed couple there" Rex explained to Kay.

"Oh I can't wait. I am so happy about the dress." Kay said kissing Rex on the cheek. "Thank you so much. For everything." She said smiling. "We will have a great time and the best dressed there." She said giggling as she turned with the dress hold up.

"I believe you." Truebridge assured the boy quite matter-of-factly, not truly noticing Jake's expression or registering that he might feel insulted in any way. It wasn't exactly the most familiar of concepts after all. As for the reading thing... well... if Jake wanted help with that, surely he'd ask.

"Can I ask what has made you curious about this subject?"

With a small smile, Jake let his mind wander for a moment, eager to try and read these books and look for schtuff that might interest him. At the question, the boy looked a little lost and thought really hard about how he thought about it.

"I... I ggguess..." Jake looked up at Truebridge relatively blandly, no real emotion on his face, just... a childish innocence. "After that... that evil ggguy last term... and all the ssstuff he made me and LouAnn and other kkkids do... I got interested."

Oh... and he couldn't forget. "And Tttibi left bbbecause of all the bbbad stuff, and I thought, if I underssstood it, I cccould protect him. And he mmmight... come bbback."

He really did believe that. Despite the arguments he'd had with the boy. "I mmmean, he was my only rrreal friend and I shhhould have kept him sssafe."

True story.

"And... ssstuff."

" The dance will be fun" Rex told Kay. " Glad you love your dress" Rex said to Kay.

Hugging Rex tightly Kay was happy. "I know that we have had our problems this year. But, I love you and we will get through all of this." She said watching Rex's eyes and hoping that they were still ok. "I love you, Rex. Truely."

" Ok. no more fighting?" Rex asked Kay " I love you very much' Rex told Kay.

Smiling she watch the evil tree moving. This thing scared her and just didn't like it. "Think we can go get something to eat in a bit?" Kay asked just wanted to get away from the weird tree.

" Let's gett away from here" Rex told Kay. " Yes, we will eat' Rex said to Kay. "Is Madame Puddifoots open?" Rex asked Kay.

Cody walked down towards the whomping willow. Thank god, he was finally getting a break away from Savannah. It was all just sort of...awkward. He didn't like being tied down to a girl he wasn't even interested in. So why was he doing this again? Urgh. He couldn't really even remember right now.

Sitting down in the grass, he picked up some strands, absent mindedly toying with them.

Cadence wandered through the grounds cartwheeling or flipping every now and then. Sometimes, you just got the urge to tumble, and it just had to happen. One of the downsides to being a gymnast. Smiling, she began to perform a series of complicated looking tricks, but somehow got off course. Mid-backhandspring, she realized she was soon going to run into someone. Once her feet hit the ground, she struggled to end her built up momentum and stumbled backwards, falling right into the boys lap. Giggling, she looked up at him and gave him one of her heart-melting smiles. "Hi! Are you okay?" she asked through her giggling.

Cody looked up hearing giggling, watching a girl doing a multitude of fancy looking tricks. Dang, she was good. But the downer? She was headed straight towards him. Oh merlin! And right before she bumped into him. She stopped, but the girl was quickly losing balance.

Plop. Next thing he knew, she was in his lap. Cody struggled with laughter, this girl was certainly something. Pretty as well. "I think that's a question I should be asking you." Tehe, she was the one who fell!

Cadence looked up into the boy's eyes still smiling. He seemed amused. That was a good thing. Still giggling cutely, she shook her head. "Oh, I'm perfectly fine! You get used to the falling thing after awhile!" she said, still smiling up at him. Oblivious as she tended to be sometimes, it hadn't registered to her that she was just sitting in some guy's lap. With the same sweet smile, she said, "I'm Cadence Ballard, by the way."

Cody chuckled at the antics of the girl, it was sort of refreshing to be around someone so...bubbly. Yey for happy people! Cody needed someone like that around right now. "I take it you fall often?" Or else she wouldn't be used to it...right?

Cody chuckled again, she seemed quite oblivious to the fact she was still sitting in his lap, and he wasn't quite sure how to address it without making things completely awkward. Meep. "Pleasure Cadence, Cody Russell."

"In this topic in particular or defense in a general sense? I'm afraid I fail to see how this particular subject applied to that situation." Which really, Truebridge still blamed Lupa for. She'd been so selfish.

"That is admirable and understandable that you feel that way, and I'm sure you know that really it is not your fault, no blame lies on your shoulders for any of it, but I won't go into that. As for friends, well, I always found it difficult to make them myself but they tend to come in their own time, I find." He somehow had more than two now.

Strange.

"Oh that sounds great. But I don't know if Madame Puddifoot's is opened." Kay said standing up watching the tree. "Maybe we could just go for a walk or something." She said just wanting to get away.

Cadence tilted her head slightly and considered the boy and his question. "Yes, I suppose I do. Occupational hazard of being a competitive gymnast, I'm afraid," she said with another giggle. As she stared up into his face, she bit her lip. As the wind blew a little bit, a strand of hair blew into her face, and she flipped her hair back over her shoulder. When he told her his name, she nodded in recognition. "It's good to meet you, Cody!" she said with a genuine smile. Cadence liked meeting new cute boys people.

"A walk sounds good" Rex told Kay.

Guh, make it difficult, why don't you?

"Well... I sssuppose I got interested in D-d-dark stuff... and I lllearnt about them vaguely, and... I jjjust want to know mmmore now. I'm interested. Nnnever know what the fffuture holds..." Eh, too far. "Just want more knnnowledge."

After all, who didn't?

On the friends thing, Jake shrugged his shoulders. "I dddon't want fffriends. They'll only llleave at one pppoint. I'm fffine on my own with my ppparents as friends."

Which didn't quiiiiiiite work. But heh. "Knowledge is mmmy friend," the boy grinned, suddenly realising it. Deep, man. Heavy,

"Great. Where should we go?" Kay asked. "I have never been on the pathway. I hear its nice." She said waiting for his thoughts.

Chase walked down on to the grounds of Hogwarts.Not very different from home though. She played around with her hat as her fringe fell in her eyes.She sat down on the ground gazing up at the Whomping Willow. Bored out of her mind she played with the grass and sticks and....stuff........Hoping someone would come........

Jay walked over towards the Whomping Willow. He had heard so much about this tree and all of the things it does. It's quite and extraordinary tree. He stared up at it's peculiar branches that looked almost like fists and made a note to stay out of range. As he walked around it, he almost tripped over a young girl. As his foot gently collided with her leg, he jumped back startled by her presence. "Oh, hey. Sorry about that."
