Chase,startled, drew back her legs so this boy would not trip over them. She looked up at him and smiled "Don't be sorry"She replied."I'm Chase by the way"She said smiling.She looked back at the Whomping Willow.

Jay grinned. He was glad the girl wasn't mad at him for almost tripping over her. So, he sat down next to her. "Eh, it was my bad. I should have been more careful." he shrugged. "Hello Chase. I'm Jayce. It's nice to meet you." he said as he stuck out his hand to her. He chuckled "Our names rhyme."

Chase turned away form the tree and towards Jayce.She smiled."Nice to meet you to"She replied shaking his hand.She let go of his hand and giggled,"Yes I guess they do."

Jayce grinned. "They sure do. So, what house are you in?" he asked curiously. "I'm in Gryffindor, A relatively new addition actually. I just moved here last week." He grinned. Jay looked down at her uniform. Her tie was green and silver, so she must be Slytherin, just like Eiri.

Chase smiled."I'm Slytherin"She replied."O that's cool, moved here from where?"She asked. She looked around."And....What year are you in?"She asked."I'm a first year, but I'm 13"She said.

"Ah, a Slytherin. I had a feeling you were." he replied. "I moved here from America. Let's just say that Hogwarts is a much nicer place than the school i went to. Plus, Hogwarts seems so much more exciting." he grinned. "I'm a fourth year and i'm fourteen." he replied, slightly confused as to why she was thirteen, but only in her first year. But he figured it was best not to ask.

Jordan walked down to the big tree, which according to his hand book was called the Whomping Willow. Jordan looked up at the tree and looked down in his book, the tree has a tendency to kill or maim things huh. He chuckled and sat a couple meters from it and tipped his hat on his head. He was happy to be out of New York though, the Military Academy wasn't his thing and his mom was trying to ignore the fact that he was a little different.

Finally she accepted and sent him off. To somewhere he'd rather not be.

Chase nodded."I've never beeen to america, and yes I am sure that Hogwarts is better"She replied."O that's cool."SDhe looked at his puzzled face."O right im only in my first year becasue I've been....ummm.....held back....something like that...I never really payed attention to there explanation why I was...held back...I'm not sure sure if that's even what they called it...but it was because of being rude and failing some of my classes, but this year will be different." She had said tooooooo much!

'You haven't? It's boring. You probably wouldn't want to go there anyway." He nodded. "Hogwarts is better." Jay said happily. "Oh, well i'm sorry to hear that. You seem like a very smart girl." he complimented. "Ah, to tell you the truth, i barely pay attention either. Sometimes it's just so boring, you can't help put allow your mind to wander." He shrugged. "Held back sounds like the right phrase." he nodded.

Jay saw yet another person approach the whomping willow. It was a guy. He looked a bit lost. Jayce waved him over. "Hello." he said, and looked down to the book in the boys hand. "What do you have there?" he asked, with his voice full of curiosity.

Simon ran up to Reed. "I am sooooooooooooooooooo sorry I am late." He sighed as he looked at her. "So what are you reading?" He asked as he sat down next to her, he looked at the tree and was wondering why it was moving on it's own.

Jordan looked up at the boy and raised a brow "Hey," he said in hi yankee accent "Waz up? Oh this right here?" He shrugged "Hogwarts guide, my uncle wrote some stuff and gave it to me." Jordan stood and brushed the grass off his jeans "I'm Jordan, you can call me Dawson though."

All those months of military school really made an impression, he even reached out to shake the guys hand.

Chase smiled."Agreed"She replied, Hogwarts was much better."Well thankyou"She replied to his compliment."Yes it is very boring, I also sometimes skipped class"She said.She nodded too in agreement. Held Back was probably right.

She looked towards the boy Jayce was talking. "Hello I'm Chase"She said.

"Oh, that's cool. I wish i had one of those a couple of days ago, it would have helped." he grinned. Being new was tough, and a guide book definitely would have helped. "Nice to meet you Dawson, I'm Jayce." he said as he took the boys hand and shook. "Are you new as well?" he questioned. He hadn't met many people, but the guide book made him think that Dawson was new too.

"Oh, you're welcome." he smiled. Jay loved giving compliments. It was something he was pretty good at as well. "Yeah, school can be like that sometimes." he shrugged. "Skipped classes? Ah, that would do it." he chuckled. Jayce never skipped a class. He's wanted to, but he never did.

"Hey Chase, I'm Dawson, you skip class?" He smiled and pulled his pants up a little "Never thought kids here skipped." He chuckled at the discovery and put his hands in his usual over-sized jacket.

"Jayce aight, yeah I'm new, just got in still adjusting to the time change." He shrugged "Where are ya'll from?"

"I'm from Florida. I just got in three days ago. But you're right, the time change is killer. I couldn't wake up on time for the first few days. But hey- at least the teachers understood a bit." he grinned. Ugh, he hated time changes. "Where are you from?" he questioned.

Chase smiled."Yeah I'm sure that's what got me held back" She said.
"have you ever skipped?" She asked.

"It's nce to meet you Dawson"She said And Yeah

Jordan nodded "Florida, that's cool, I'm a New Yorker." he shrugged his jacket up "Can't tell?" Jordan smiled when she asked, he had to stop skipping and leave his gang "Yeah I've skipped, haven't in a while though, and definitely not in the school I was going to."

Jay grinned. "Nope. Never have." he shrugged. "I've been tempted to a couple of times, but i turned down the offers."

"Eh, Florida's alright. Ah, a New Yorker. I can't say i've ever been there. I wanted to go, but i just couldn't." he shrugged. Well, couldn't afford it.. "Oh, no. Now that you say it.. yeah. i can tell." he grinned.

Jordan nodded "Why'd you move out here?" he moved to sit again, he was way too tired to stand and he knew he wouldn't get in trouble for sitting on the grass.

Jay sat down as well seeing that Dawson sat. "Eh, it's a long story. A really really long story." he sighed. It was a story that jay didn't truthfully share with people. "How about you?"

"Tired of Military and my mom finally acknowledged that I was more like my uncle." He hung his arms loosely over his knees "Magic, unreal." he shook his head, still in disbelief of the whole magic thing.

"Military? Does that mean you went to military school?" Jay asked curiously. "Is it really as tough as everyone says it is?" He remembered seeing some movie where some kid was sent to military school. It looked pretty strict. "So, did you not know about magic until now?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.

" Well off to the pathway" Rex told Kay. Rexx took hold of Kay's hand.
