Selena smiled. "I can't wait," she said honestly. One month of staying at home with the elves then time to go! She couldn't wait at all. "I'm going to miss you," she said as she hugged him. One month... of being dragged around to functions with her mother... one month. Gr. She quickly made a mental note to get out as much as possible. Despite the million degree weather that was bound to come, and all the sun.
He blushed as she hugged him. They were still at the awkward stage and both of them found it odd when the other choose a time to show affection. His mother thought this all was cute as clams she had said Diggy just couldn't stop blushing. "I'm going to miss you too," he whispered into her hair. He was going to be surrounded by his brothers and sisters and cousins. While she was going to be stuck alone in a huge house with no one but house elves. He had begged his dad to allow Selena to come early but he had stuck with the proclamation his mother had made. "We can meet in Diagon Ally for ice cream every week if you want," he told her. It would give her something to do and keep Diggy out of trouble during their month long separation.

Trixie gave the Slytherin prefect a pout and an apologetic smile as she almost literally knocked her off of the bench and probably into some other unsuspecting Slytherin. That would be kinda funny though, albeit a little mean as well. So letting go of her favourite the blonde apologized profoundly. "I'm sorry" she muttered quietly but you couldn't blame her for wanting to hug her. It was her last day here after all. And besides, Trixie got emotional fairly easily.
Smack. Oww. Too much flailing. But Trix didn't complain. She got hurt enough anyway and it was the end of term. She wondered whether she would, or could beat her Hospital Visit record, 5 times, one she was accompanying however, because that totally wasn't her fault. Heh heh. "But it's forever at Hogwarts" she said still tears welling up her eyes and her bottom lip trembling slightly. Glue her to the bench? That sounded like a good idea. "I was thinking more tying you to a tree actually" she tried to make a joke. Whether it actually came out sounding funny or extremely serious was another matter. "With Professor Truebridge" she nodded. Then they could keep each other company couldn't they?
Trixie raised an eyebrow. Wouldn't miss her that much? Yeah right. Nancy had practically been one of thhe very first people the 5th year had met. "I'm gonna miss you loads" she pouted. Write to her? That's what Truebridge had said. Trix was awful at expressing anything in words. What ever she wrote always came out sounding completely wrong. "Provided your not busy of course....." she stated about the meeting up over summer. Though Trixie would love to.
She took a glance down the table, noting that Oliver was there talking to her cousin, emma. Oh goodness, knowing her sweet younger cousin, she was probably inviting him to the manor or something. In her mind, she was mentally willing him to come over to the part of the table with them.
Nancy raised an eyebrow at Trixie's pout in slight amusement. That girl definitely was around Oliver too much...he was already rubbing off on her, at least concerning the pouting. "'tis okay. You just sort of startled me that's all." Plus the whole clumsy thing made her almost land in some random Slytherin's lap. So, hey, it was only half Trixie's fault.
Oh...oops. "Sorry 'bout that." But, errr, somehow it was her own fault anyhow. Never tackle an unsuspecting Nancy. Never ever. It might end badly. For both of them. In this case only for the one tackling her. Oh noes, more tears...or almost-tears. Which were not as bad as actual tears but still bad. Distract her, distract her! Oh, the other girl went for a subject-change herself...not a very good one though. "A Tree?!" EEK! Trees were too plant-y. And plant-y meant SCARY. "Can't you like tie me to a bench instead?" There was a small hint of seriousness in her voice when she turned her blue eyes on Trixie pleadingly. Even with Truebridge a tree would be aweful. "It's sad, isn't?" The Prefect stated with a small sigh and a quick glance up at the Staff Table. Good, at least there were no kissing professors at this point. One incident like this was enough for a lifetime tonight.
Aaaaaand there was the pout again. Snicker! Her and Oliver should do a Pout-Competition once. "Aww...I'mma miss you too, Trixie." Just like so many other people...and this whole place. Maybe they would have another one of those Alumni Balls again some time soon. Yes, that would be awesome. Absentmindedly following the direction into which Trixie was now gazing Nancy found herself staring at Oliver. Sniff!

Your still being tied and your still not going anywhere" she told her, glad that the tears haden't actually left the safety of her eyes yet, though they were still making her vision all blury so that she could only make out shapes really. She nodded at the comment about Truebridge leaving, but she was pretty certain the replacement would be just as amazing. If not even better.. If you could get better. Because Trix had totally not been clinging onto him earlier *shifty*

Well Nancy seemed amused by Oliver's bluntness with Trixie but Trix did not look happy. Oliver smirked at her in response. No sir-ee, she did not look happy. “What? No sarcastic retort?” He teased and picked up a breadstick which he proceeded to prod her with annoyingly trying to get a response out of her.

Still smirking, he looked back at Nancy. “Well I was hopeful you did it on purpose, you know.. so you could stay?” Why couldn't he ever be serious? Even when the atmosphere was beyond melancholy he had to tease and make sarcastic comments – but then it was sort of a defence with the boy wasn't it? He didn't really want anyone to see how depressed he was over this.. he wouldn't want to bring them down with him, least of all Nancy whose last day it was. And maybe.. just maybe, it was a good thing that he had the ability to lighten a mood. “Killed?” He raised his eyebrows. “I can look after myself perfectly well thanks, Nance.” hehe!

Hmm, a whole new world. She was going to semi-experience that this summer and the next half of this year too. However, it was...nothing compared to the whole new world this Gryffie was going into.
"I see what you mean." she nodded slowly before turning her attention to the table in front of her. And it totally just made her nervous for her own graduation four years from now. Hehe, fantastic.

"Cool, can't wait" he smiled at her, "Well i sail but i don't surf, he live on the coast in england and when i go on holiday were on the coast, i've basically grown up in the water, i Swim, wakeboard, windsurf, but i don't surf.....YET" he loved water and being in the water he felt at his most comfortable when in the ocean

"Yeah, thanks for emphasizing that." Nancy muttered under her breath, not directly at Trixie but more to herself than anybody else. Yes, last day...that sounded so final. So depressing. So BAD. And it was. It was just that the Prefect had decided NOT to let it show just how this last feast was making her feel. Otherwise she would have to at least deal with Trixie's tears and that would not exactly make things better. So not.

...and Oliver maybe. Judging by the way he was now poking Trixie with a breadstick. He could be so evil most of the times sometimes. A good evil though. If there was something like that. Hehe. Yes, she was probably not that much different from Oliver. Trying to hide her true emotions.

Trixie was really not in the mood to be poked right now, and she wasn't going to acknowledge him if he was in that mood. So what better to do then simply snap the breadstick he was poking her with in half. Ha. Deal with that. No breadstick to annoy her with. And no this was not the time for sarcasm was it? Gawd.
Trixie looked down at her feet as Nancy retorted slightly sarcastically. "I'm sorry. I think I'll just shut up. I probably can't say anything right today" she told her. And it was all because she was incredibly emotional. Trixie was never like this. She would never pass the opportunity to annoy Oliver. And she wasn't going to cry. Nope... Maybe...Hopefully. But those tears in her eyes weren't going to go away.
Okay she was ever so slightly passionate about not being tied to a tree. So the Slytherin stared slightly but then nodded. "I-I won't" she mumbled. He blushed as she hugged him. They were still at the awkward stage and both of them found it odd when the other choose a time to show affection. His mother thought this all was cute as clams she had said Diggy just couldn't stop blushing. "I'm going to miss you too," he whispered into her hair. He was going to be surrounded by his brothers and sisters and cousins. While she was going to be stuck alone in a huge house with no one but house elves. He had begged his dad to allow Selena to come early but he had stuck with the proclamation his mother had made. "We can meet in Diagon Ally for ice cream every week if you want," he told her. It would give her something to do and keep Diggy out of trouble during their month long separation.
Selena noticed the blush but didn't say a thing. It was cute. Hehehe. Given, she wasn't looking forward to being home. It felt cold there but whatever, she'd just stay in the library. "Nah, you should spend some more time with your family, they probably really miss you," she pointed out. He needed to spend time with his family and Selena needed to get used to the fact that her family was just crap. "Don't get into too much trouble, okay?" she said with a smirk. She would not be surprised if he did though.

Trixie was really not in the mood to be poked right now, and she wasn't going to acknowledge him if he was in that mood. So what better to do then simply snap the breadstick he was poking her with in half. Ha. Deal with that. No breadstick to annoy her with. And no this was not the time for sarcasm was it? Gawd.
Oliver half pouted, half frowned at Trixie. So much for lightening the atmosphere around here. And she was IGNORING him! Oliver HATED that! So he focused his attention on Nancy instead who was at least speaking to him. Jeez - some people.

Leaning back slightly Nancy glanced up at the enchanted ceiling absentmindedly for a while, until Oliver addressed her again. Aww...yes, it was obvious that he was joking but there certainly was some seriousness behind his words. "Bleh, believe me, I tried everything to stay." She replied with a small grin while twirling the plastic on her lap.
"Riiight." She replied sarcastically with a playful roll of her eyes. Totally, like last year. Not that she was one to talk. But you know, she wasn't the one claiming to be able to take care of herself. But at least he didn't go all sentimental on h-
Or not. "I'mma miss you too, Oliver." The Prefect replied sincerely as she returned the hug whole-heartedly. And she really was. Gulp! She didn't want to leave. She wanted to STAY. "Take care of this place for me." She grinned at them both but her eyes lingered on Oliver in the end and with a small grin she added, "And stop pouting!" Yes, she was probably not that much different from Oliver. Trying to hide her true emotions.
It was easier like that.
Oliver shook his head. “You didn't try hard enough then did you?” He said tempted to poke the lassy with the broken breadstick, but refrained from doing so and placed it on the table instead.
He ignored the girl's sarcastic retort and embraced her, a little surprised when she returned his hug but he clung to her more tightly. “You saved my life last year... I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. What am I supposed to do without you? You've always been there.” He screwed up his face. Man, he supposed he loved Nancy like family. The school was going to be an empty place without those blue eyes of hers and her smile.
He nodded, releasing her. “I will.” He hadn't realised how much this was going to affect him until now. He thought he could swan into the Great Hall and act the clown and all would be well.. but he was so so wrong. He smoothed out his expression and smirked at the girl – no pouting. He just couldn't help his face sometimes.
Emma smiled. "Yep! Well we'll try to learn most of them all!" she exclaimed. She wanted to go really badly. She hoped her parents would let her go. "Yeah maybe we could! It would be awesome! I know how to skateboard. Do you know how to skateboard? If you do then how hard can surfing be?" she said, imaging herself falling over.
"Nope never skateboarded before in my life, but i wind surfed so hopefully surfing wont be to hard" he laughed almost nervously he really would not want to make a fool of himself in front of her. "It would be so fun, i really hope you can come" he retorted with a look of longing in his eyes
