Turning her head awkwardly too look at Nymphy again, she wasn't exactly sure how to respond. "Of course I'm still here, Nymphy!" but a better question would have been why wasn't he trying to get his charms homework done by trying to give that cupcake to someone else. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on or why Nymphy seemed so angry with her. As he practically begged her to eat his cupcake, she bit her lip, trying to find a way to pretend to eat it or a nicer way to refuse. Shifting a little on Torin's back, she opened her mouth to speak...

but then she was spared. Turning back to Torin, she laughed again. "Yes, girls are amazing. And that didn't hurt you! Don't lie!" she said. And then he was going to whisk her away, piggy back style. How could she say no? Not that she would have anyways because she loved spending time with her best friend, but she felt bad for Nymphy kind of. Turning back to Nymphy she shrugged and gave another apologetic smile, then wrapped herself a little tighter around Torin and said, "Let's go!"

Fia wore a pained look. She didn't like seeing her sister upset. She leaned in and pulled Brody into a hug. "I know you do," she soothed her sister the best she could. "Even....your dad?" Which was her dad as well, one she didn't know. "And I will be with you when you marry him too! Promise!" She thought the world of Torin and knew that Brody truly love him.

Brody sighed a little, resting her head against her sister's shoulder. Just being here, and actually being able to talk about it, was making her feel much better. She had to smile a little though, because she might have only been friends, and siblings, for under a year, but she was closer to Fia than she was to any of her other family members. "Yeah....He wants the best for me." She rubbed her eyes, sniffling a little. "He just can't see that Torin is the best for me." But then she actually beamed at what she said next. "You better be at my wedding. I want you to be my bridesmaid."

Now it was Fia's turn to tear up. Too much excitement and so much sisterly love going on at the moment. "We all want what's best for you and trust me, Torin brings out the best in you...and in all of us." She was thankful that Torin and Miles were friends as well. "I would love to be."

She finally wiped the single tears that rolled down her cheek and smiled. "Come, let's walk about. It's getting too sappy." She began to giggle, something they both needed.

Brody smiled as she watched her sister cry. This really meant for something for her; for them maybe. Because it finally meant that they have across a milestone. They actually got a long now, and it meant a lot to Brody. "I don'tknow what I'd do without him." She smiled, leaning up, and kissing her sister's cheek. She was glad Fia was amazing. "I'm making you be one." Hehe because she was demanding.

"Trust you to not like sappy." Brody giggled a little as she wiped her eyes, because she looked a little silly. "A walk sounds good."

Sammy walked into the common room with a tear stained face. she fell in to a chair changed her mind and walked up to the girls dormitory instead at least there she could pretend to be asleep

Wow.........ok. have fun with your man firend.......He would find someone else on short notice.....but who?

Nymphy went to find Avery. She would eat his cupcakes......and she doesn't have a boyfriend!

Melanie made her way into the common room, looking around at the people quickly, to see if she recognized anyone, before flopping into one of the familiar, comfortable, chairs. She wasn't tired, she wasn't excited, she wasn't really ANYTHING!

Except... Well, the puff' was rather bored. Was there a cure for that? Some sort of charm or potion?

She stared blankly at the fire, pondering on this. Hummm dee dum.

Cadence came through the portrait hole, her bag over her shoulder and packed with her textbooks. She was so over studying for awhile. She needed to just... have some fun! Looking around, she tried to find someone who could provide her with just such an opportunity and spotted one of her favorite people sitting near the fire. Running over to her, she plopped down in chair next to her. "Lanie!!! Hi! Where have you been! I never see you anymore!" she exclaimed before bestowing a huge hug on her best friend.

Ericks walked into the common room.He hadn't decided yet whether to do his potion homework now or postpone. He decided he might as well do it now,he hadn't done it for the first lesson after all...
He sat down on one of the comfy chairs. "That must be one of the best things about being a badger person,the common room is the comfiest part of the castle." he thought to himself.
And after quickly finishing his homework he would finally write that dreaded letter he had been postponing.

Melanie jumped a little chair, grabbing at the arms of the chair. It was only natural she was a bit surprised, after all. She relaxed a bit, after she processed the voice. It was Cadence, of course, perhaps come to save her from her horrible boredom?

"Don't do that, please. At least tap me on the shoulder or something before you scream my name." she giggled, returning the hug exuberantly. "Hi, Cady!" the girl replied, sitting up in her chair now. "I've been...around." Melanie shrugged. "I think a better question is what have you been up to?" she arched a brow.

Cadence giggled as Melanie told her not to do that. She was so jumpy sometimes! Though, at least she didn't pull her wand on people who scared her as Cadence so often did. Cadi considered this question for a moment. What HAD she been up to? "Well, I've been taking a lot of classes this year, and I've been studying a lot. Hanging out with Torin. Spending time with Jude when he can bear to take himself away from his books," she explained, this last part coming out a tad bitter. Things were not working out so well in that area right now, but she didn't really want to talk about it. "Are you playing Quidditch this year?" she asked.

Ericks finally finished with his potion homework. He would hand it in soon. He sat up. He decided he would go to the Owlery tommorow,but this would be the last time he would put off the letter.

Melanie bobbed her head up and down rhythmically, only faltering slightly at the mention of Jude, Cadence's boyfriend. She'd known Cadence for quite a while. Melanie wasn't great as spotting stuff like a certain tone, or a certain look... or whatever, but, this time, the girl noticed the bitterness in her best friend's voice. She gave her a wary look, but didn't comment on it, just in case she'd been wrong. "Sounds like fun." Melanie gave her a tiny smile, hoping she'd been right in not inquiring about Jude.

"I tried out, but the teams haven't been announced yet." she informed Cadence matter-oh-factually. She was excited to know if she made it or not. Sadly, patience wasn't a virtue Melanie was blessed with. "I hope so though." she added.

Cadence smiled brightly at her friend and sat up a little straighter. "OOH! I hope you make it again! Torin tried out, too! How great would that be if you both made it?! Both my best friends playing Quidditch at the same time! I would be Hufflepuffs best cheerleader! I'd... I'd scream in the stands until my voice was gone!" she said with a giggle. And, of course, there would be t-shirts made with Torin's face on them because Torin would appreciate her doing such things. "Do you think you could get away from home for a bit this summer? I think I'm going to have a big camp out party thing at my house," she said, not really sure where this random change of subject had come from, but her brain had been working so hard lately, she decided to not berate it for its inability to think in a logical pattern.

You know that whole jealousy thing? Well, Melanie had a bit of a problem with it.

TWWWWWWO BEST FRIENDS? Was that even legal?

Yes, it was. Melanie wasn't quite sure what to think of it, though. She'd put that thought away for now. It was certainly something to think about. Hm.

"Yeah, that would be cool!" Melanie agreed. She remembered Torin the friend stealer playing on the team before- He was pretty good. " And as far as you rooting in the stands... your voice may not agree with you, but hey," she shrugged. "that sounds awesome to me." It did.

At the mention of a camp out Melanie grinned. "That sounds AMAZING Cadence! It's a great idea...And I would love to come... I have to get permission first, though, from my dad." She couldn't let herself get excited before she got permission. It was hard, but if she did, Melanie knew she was setting herself up for a let down. "We could owl him now, if you want."

Cadence watched her friend's face and watched something... unpleasant flicker across it for a moment, but she wasn't quite sure of the source. Therefore she decided to simply ignore it. Watching Melanie play again would be so great! Quidditch matches were always so much to watch! Though pretty much everyone knew that Cadi herself would never, EVER play it. Then, as Melanie got excited about the idea of her summer camp out, Cadi's face broke into a huge smile. "Yeah! Let's go do that now!" she said, jumping up from her chair. "I've got parchment and stuff in my bag!" which she promptly picked up and put over her shoulder as she waited on Lanie.

Nymphy walked in the common room and decided to just sit and relax until diner. While he sat, he twirled his wand between his finsgers absent mindedly. He was so bored.........and he really wished that someone would talk to him. He would have talked to Cady, but she seemed mad at him. Avery was somewhere and he felt too tired to go looking. Where was everyone????

Sammy walked into the common room and sat down on one of the chairs and picked up her kitten, Moggy, and pulled out the letter from her aunt

How are you? I heard they found Annie, This is absolutley great news. and what is this I hear about a boyfriend????? called Jay???? care to explain??? This is my first letter in English so if I haven't spelt something write it's not my fault. Missing You and can't wait to see you again.

I'm am quite well, how are you? and yes Jay is my boyfriend ... but don't worry about it and don't tell mum or dad they will both kill me, please don't tell them. Jay is the sweetest guy I have ever met he is my.. what was the saying again? oh yes Mon petit chou. I love that saying it's adorable : ). Where are you going to stay? because there most definatly is any room at home ecspecially for Stardust. and if you aren't staying at my home where are you staying and can I come visit you in the holidays? Also have a look out for Mikayla Sinyos at the ministry she is Jay's cousin. Also there IS A BALL AT HOGWARTS!!!!! but I'm sorry you can't come because you went to Beuxbatons, I wish you could though it would be so much fun!!!

Cadence came out of her dorm and down to the Common Room, hoping to find Torin, but instead she saw a rather glum looking boy sitting by the fireplace. Though Cadi wasn't exactly having the best time of her life here lately, she still didn't like to see someone so... depressed looking. Walking over to him, she plopped down in the chair next to him and smiled sweetly at him. "Hello! I'm Cadence!" she said, hoping he was nice... she could use some more nice guys in her life at the moment.

Apollo didn't notice that the girl had sat down next to him until she said 'Hello'. But he noticed she was...pretty hot. Gorgeous, long brown hair, olive complected.... could she be Italian? Hmmm.....he decided not to ask.

"Hey, names Apollo." He paused for a moment and decided it would be a good idea to be nice to this girl. "Nice to meet you." He gave her a small, but weary smile.

heh the Cadi in my head thanks him for saying she's hot... she needed that. lol
 

Cadence practically beamed when he acknowledged her politely. At his smile, though, she tilted her head to the side, considering him slightly for a moment before she sat back a bit further in her chair and crossed her legs. "It's good to meet you, too, Apollo," hmm... so very, very good. "How are you?" she asked, deciding this was the politer way of asking him if he was okay without really knowing him.

The dreaded question. 'How are you?' Did he really look that depressed on the outside that a completel stranger would have to come up and ask him in a subtle way if he was ok or not. He decided it would be best not to be rude to the girl and completely shut her down. She was pretty after all, and he had a thing for pretty girls. Which was the reason he was here in the first place.

"I'm...ok. Missing Italy. You?" Though he had an english accent, he was very much Italian.
