Cadence gave him another of her heart-melting smiles as he said he was from Italy. What was it with her and this knack for finding all the boys from other countries. "Oh?" she responded simply, not really wanting to press him for his entire life story. "I'm sorry you miss it. It must be hard being so far from home," she said to him kindly, wondering why he was here if he missed it so much. Cadi had always wanted to go to Italy. For some reason, she was just... drawn to that country. "What's it like there?"

"Well...home is actually London. But my whole family is from Italy. My little sister and I were born in London, and both were going to the Italian Institute of Magic, but I decided to come here this year." Apollo shrugged. That information he didnt mind giving out...it wasn't that indepth, but he wasnt going to give more information then that.

Italy. How could he describe Italy? Was it even possible? Italy was the most amazing place anyone could behold. "Italy...is the most beautiful place anyone could ever have the opportunity to travel too." Yep, that was about all he could say.

Cadi nodded her head as he spoke. Well, that would explain his lack of Italian accent. "Oh, okay!" she said with a smile. She really wanted to know why he had decided to come here, but she wasn't about to ask. Maybe if they became better friends first she would ask him. A lot of people who transfered to Hogwarts didn't transfer there for the most innocent of reasons.

As Apollo described Italy, Cadence listened to him intently, her eyes wide and sparkling at the picture she had of Italy in her mind. "I want to go there someday," she whispered, her smile sweet and her eyes looking into his with a bit of a fiery look. Unfortunately, traveling opportunities were slim for her between school and having to train all summer.

"Everyone should experience Italy. You should think about a summer visit or something." Apollo gave her a small smile and then began thinking, again, about the reasons that he came here.

He had vaild points, but it made him feel like a loser for running away from his problems, or one problem, Gianna. One big, huge, massive, to much to handle, problem. Everytime he went to sleep, had the same vision of her. The last time he ever spoke to her. The last time a girl would ever break his heart....

He suddenly snapped out of his thoughts and slightly blushing asked, "Have you ever been outside of England?" Making conversation was hard for him...but he was working on it.

Dani walked into the common room from the libary. She walked over to an empty chair, sat down, and sighed. She dropped her back with a thump. Between her brother and studing, she was exhausted.

Rhea entered the common room and slipped her coat off. It was getting really cold out and the warmth of the common room was all she wanted right now. She walked over to the fire and noticed a girl around her age seated in a chair across from her. Funny she had never seen her before.
"Hi there," she said plopping down into the comfy chair and letting the fire warm her fingers.

Dani smiled at the other girl. "Hi. How are you?" she asked. She has not seen the girl before. But then when you spend most of your time in the libray you dont see many people.

Rhea returned her smiled and stretched across extending her hand to the girl.
"I'm good you? The name's Rhea. I'm a sixth year."
"I don't think that I've seen you around school much." She said snuggling down into the chair.

Dani reached out and shook the girls hand. "I am good. I am Danika, but everyone calls me Dani. Easier to remember, I guess. I am a seventh year." she said. When she was done shaking the girl hand she sat back. "Yeah. I am either in the libary studying or I am trying to keep my twin brother out of trouble." she told the girl.

Rhea nodded and smiled. It was a nice name and didn't seem that hard to remember.
"Dani it is then," she said with a smile. Rhea didn't really use the library that often to study, she spent most of her time reading by the lake. She found it to be a much more relaxing spot. It was less likely for her to fall asleep there.
"I know what it's like trying to keep a brother out of trouble, though my brother is five years old."She chuckled a little.
"What house is your brother in?"

Dani nodded in return and smiled. "I have a five year old sister, who is so much like Torin. Torin is my brother. She does not ever listen to me, but she listens to him." she said shaking her head. "Torin is in Hufflepuff as well. I think you might know him." she said. Everyone seems to know Torin.

Did she say Torin? Rhea had no idea that the guy had a twin sister. Well well one did learn something new everyday.
"That's so like kids their age though. There is always that one person that they listen to. Tyler always listens to dad but mum and I can't get through to him." She raised her eyebrows at the girl before replying.
"Wow yeah I know him but I had no idea that he is your twin brother. It's quite a surprize."

Its all good.
 

Dani nodded in agreement about the kids. "She listens to mum, dad, and Torin. Not me. Though I think Torin has something to do with that." she said with a sigh. Dani watched as Rhea's eyebrows went up. She started to giggle. "You know, I hear that alot. We are so different. Like night and day." she told Rhea.

Rhea chuckled, maybe Torin gave her extra candy or something. She knew that he dad super spoiled her little brother so that might be one reason why he was so apt to listen to him.
"Well most siblings are like that though, so it' totally normal. I think it's more because I don't see you guys hanging out together that much or something."

"Idk, but they like to team up and pick on me." Dani said with a shrug. Yeah, Danika and Torin dont do much together. "Yeah, they only time we are really together is when I know he is about to get into trouble. Or when we just need to be around each other." she said to Rhea.

Amy jogged down the stairs happily, she plopped into a chair next to Sophia, just as she was about to speak an owl came through the window with a letter, which was dropped in her lap, the owl wasn't Charletta so she was slightly confused as to who it was from-until she opened it.

Cautiously she unrolled the parchment, half expecting it to bite her, she began to read:

Amy!!!!
I'm soo stupid I totally forgot it was your birthday. Forgive mee, please, hopefully this owl will get to you on the day, and your pressie should also be on it's way, Happy birthday girly, can't belive you're nearly a teenager now, only one more year. Your mum wanted to tell you that she's expecting the baby in a month, but not to come home and wait till a holiday, but I bet you wouldn't want to leave anyway, would you?
Anyway must dash, got a load of appointments today.

You were not late, bang on time in fact (so yes you are forgiven), everything is good here, I have great friends and my house is amazing, all is great lessons wise-apart from potions, the woman who teaches us is EVILL!! But nothing to worry about. As to dear old mumsy, tell her that I wasn't planning on coming home anyway, Hogwarts is too much FUN!
Anyways, although it's the weekend I've got tones to do, so can't write a particualry long letter (besides this quill is a nightmare to write with, it keeps tickeling my hand), so I will love you and leave you, have fun at work and always look on the bright side of life :].

Amy settled back in the chair, warming her feet by the fire, oh thats good, same pretty much. Have you heard about the potions women, apparantly she's resigned, it's on the board and stuff

Staggering slightly, Emmy wandered over to an empty sofa, plonked her bag on the floor by her feet, and flopped onto the seat. I wonder where Sammy is... she thought, almost dozing off.

Sammy walked into the common room still full of energy, she saw Emmy sitting on a sofa, she walked over "hi Emmy" she said sitting down next to her and pulling out her goodies from hogsmede

"Hi Sammy! What've you got there? Woah! Where did you get all that?!" Emmy cried as Sammy started unpacking her bags. "So, um, whereabouts do you live?"

"oh dis" sammy said holding up her goodies and speaking with her mouth full "Honeydukes in Hogsmede" she said after swallowing "haven't you been there yet?" she asked so badly wanting to stuff more lollies in her mouth "In the middle of Seaton in East Devon, why?"she asked
