Melissa rushing into the common room, still carring the letter what Jay had sent her. Her mind was racing and she didn't even know how to respond to it. Sighing she decided to read it in her head again.

Dear Lissa,
I know you still hate me from the mistake I made.
Hope you know it was hard for me too
I can't be around you right now, or even Amy or Lilly-Anne it is just too painful.

Sighing again she sat down on a armchair. Painful? What did I do to him. Closing her eyes, she got a quill and some spare parchment someone had left and started to write with her ink which she always kept on her.

Dear Jay,

I never hate you, I NEVER will hate you, that is a fact.
I know it is hard for you.
But why, I know that you can't be around Amy and Lily-anne but why me. I am here to help you and I won't leave until I do.
You can't just think that avoiding people is the only way to make things better.
Well, at least avoiding me, you have no reason to.

She sealed the letter and wrote the details on the front. She didn't get Jay half of the time. Turning the letter back and forth she thought about everything what happened. Drama. She didn't want drama in her life, but it will always come to her.

Amy walked down the stairs, a little dizzy and fell into the armchair, closing her eyes and breathing deeply and warming her feet on the fire

Kay ran into the common room and fell into her favorite sofa. She was glad that know one was in it. She sighed and put her head down on her knees so know one could see her crying. She was glad that Lori had stayed with her. She still didn't believe what had happened. Maybe Lori could help her understand. She hated being so young and no one to talk to. Maybe she should go home for the weekend, but she had all this classes and homework soon to follow.

Clarisse walk into the common room. She took her bag off her shoulder and threw a couple of notebooks on her bag. She walked over and ploped down on the sofa.

Nymphy saw Kay and walked over. 'Hey girl! Whats up?" he asked. He smiled and added "Ready for tryouts? I hope to be your fellow team mate this year!!!"

Sammy walked into the room still stunned as ever and fell into a chair and sat there thinking about everything that had happened today "weird..." she mumbled as she pulled out her book and started to read

Kay looked up from the sofa and saw Nymphy. She looked around for Lori, but didn't see her. Sitting up she patted the sofa and wiped her eyes. "Sit. we'll talk." Kay said smiling at Nymphy. "I don't know if Im ready or not. I get a little up set when it gets close." She said think 'god would she be able to do this.' Kay felt she was good enough for the team. She never did. "Have you seen Miranda around or Lori maybe?" she asked looking around the room again. 'where had she gone?' "I think you will do great, and we will play together." She smiling and hope that Nymphy got on the team.

"No, I haven't seen them. Want me to look. if I see them I'll tell em your looking for them." he said cheerfully.

"No, thats ok. I am just worried about all this homework and Quidditch too." Kay said looking around. "So, how are your classes going?" She asked her friend.

Amy sat down by the bookshelf, reading her astronomy book, none of this makes sense, she moaned mentally

Lissa catiously walked into the common room, hoping that she would spot someone like Torin, Sarah or Miranda. But she spotted a familiar face, whom she didn't want to see but she put everything behind her so she did now. She couldn't avoid forever. "Hey," she spoke quietly to Amy walking slowly up to her. "Need help?" She slightly raised her eyebrows at her and looked at the cover. Astronomy. Nope, she couldn't do Wizarding Astronomy, give her the muggle way, she could do that. But Wizarding Astronomy was hard.

Hey, Amy looked up, don't bother, really, I don't know if I'll ever go again, Amy said, breathing heavily as she put the book down, she looked at Lissa and- whats wrong? Amy asked, reading her expression

Lissa chuckled at Amy. "Me neither! I had no idea that it was going to be this hard. I mean DADA was easy, Arithmancy easy once I got the hang of it, Potions..." she trailed, potions, was alright to her, except what happened at the end of it. Stupid Lafay, how dare she. Lissa would liked to see her be on fire with a shield so no one could do anything. Even without the shield she betted that no one would do anything. Except getting more fire that was. Erm. Oops. "Nothing, just a little headache and a bit tired that's all," she explained.

Amy nodded, I found Arithmancy hard as well, number give me headaches but yeah DADA and Charms were pips and potions was ok, bar the increadibly scary teacher she said, remembering the angry proffessor, Amy looked at her just a little doubtfull, are you sure, I'm a good....well ok listener she said, gesturing to the carpet she was sitting on

"Eh, Arithmancy was alright, easy thought," yeah it was easy for Lissa, when she got the hang of it. "Incredibly scary? She was mean not scary. She even put pebbles in people's shoes, I mean who does that!" she exclaimed to Amy, half-laughing. That was one crazy teacher. "Anyway, I'm never going to that class again. I'd rather not get burned. She can burn herself when no one shows up," she said through gritted teeth. She also heard that Lafay was a black widow...

She wasn't buying it. She could tell that. Now she had to think of something again. Great, but it wasn't hard. "Well," she said sighing. She had no idea why she was like this, too many things happened. "Yeah, I'm sure...really," and she was born to be a counsellor, yeah right! "Alright, I'll keep that in mind. It's just..." sigh. "I feel like I had no idea where to start, so many things happened and I just can't remember," she told Amy, she was letting her guard down. She needed to stop talking, fast.

Well, I might go back, it was quite interesting if I'm honest, but thats would be hillarious, Amy said, laughing at the mental image of Lafay burning away, then when she heard what Lissa had said, Amy looked at her, looked through her and thought back, she had an idea, whether it was right was another idea, Jay? Amy asked, thinking how they had both argued with him

"Well if you must. Make sure to bring pebbles," Lissa said with a blank expression. Lafay was just one crazy witch. Darn! "I don't know," she replied simply, resting her arms and leaning on a spare armchair. "So, erm," subject, subject, subject! Think of one! "You know tryouts are going to be soon," yikes, she needed to be prepared. She actually wondered how Miranda got on the team, was she excited as she was when she first flew. Maybe she could find out. But it was obvious that the Captain was busy. Sarah could tell her maybe...hehe.

Evidently Lissa wasn't going to tell her, instead she went on the different tack Lissa had brought up, yeah I really loved flying today, I might try out next term, but I don't really know, do you think we could practise at home if no one saw us? she asked Lissa, wondering if she could teach her sister before she hopefully came to hogwarts

"Cool. I just need to practise and hope I don't fall anywhere and get injured before I tryout. I'd think I won't get a spot on the team," Lissa chuckled slightly, trying to find the bright side of that. There was none. "Come off it! I'm sure that you'll do fine," she reassured Amy. She didn't know about herself though. She was probably crap and she was probably going to make a fool out of herself. "Maybe, but you gotta watch out for the muggles," she nodded, imagining the look on a muggle's face if someone had a broom and was flying in front of them. That would be funny to watch in her opinionn.

True, but proffessor will not let you practise, he is just too over protective of that pitch, it is like his child, but if you ask Miranda she might be able to get permission, Amy suggested. She listened to Lissa but burst out laughing, imagine, flying around Canary Wharf! She laughed, that would be hillarious, I'd have to find somewhere empty to practise with my sister then she wouldn't be so out of it and find it too difficult, she loved her sister so much and couldn't imagine her struggling like she was at the moment

Lissa nodded. "It IS his child," she corrected Amy, knowing that was true. But Vindictus was cool. "Yeah, but I haven't since her in like forever. Might get Sarah to find her or something," she was the prefect after all. Maybe she could get Torin to find her too but that will be a bit strange. "Yeah," she chuckled slightly. "But it would cool. To me anyway," hehe, imagine that. She could only imagine it a night, a nice midnight blue blanket in the sky, surrounding her. That will be awesome. "Cool. How old is she?" she asked her. Meh, she wished she had siblings but she had to go it alone.

Totally, I might ask if she has any flying tips, oh um 7, and she's beyond annoying, I love her but, she annoys me soo much, Amy said, then regretted it almost imediatley, life was too short to hate people, do you have anyone?

Lissa nodded at Amy. Well good luck with that! "Aww, so I'm guessing every 7 year old is annoying," yep. "Kids are like that," she was one herself but she was maturer than that. Smirk. Her face feel immediately. "Erm, what do you mean?" she asked. Probably talking about siblings.

I mean siblings, friends, cousins, people who are family or like family who you are beyond close to, Amy explained waiting for an answer

Oh. Well Lissa didn't have an siblings so cross, she had never had a close family so cross, she had no idea about her family and she didn't feel like anyone else was her family and couldn't less care about her real family so cross. Now, friends. Sure she wasn't popular but she and...Jay had some friends. Now to tell Amy and hoped that she wouldn't go on, but she didn't show that she didn't want her to go on. That would be stupid. "Well, I guess I had some friends. I mean I wasn't 'Miss Popular' but at least I had some," she finished lamely. Now to turn the tables, hopefully. "So, what about you?" she asked her.
