This lesson kept getting crazier, by the second!

But Gold liked it, that way. It wasn't a bore, and she loved knowing what to expect next - the unexpected! Chuckling at the thought, she skipped after Abbi, and sat down next to her.

"My pillow has a unicorn on it," she said, poking it with the end of her wand. "What about yours?" She couldn't see properly because, you know, Abbi was sitting on the pillow, now.

Mina looked up at Professor Lainey and thought about what she had asked. She remembered what had happen last term, it wasn't something so easily forgotten. She still had flashes of what happened in her mind, be it the bad but they were still there.

With a movement, of pure athletisism Patroclus rolled headfirst, placing the pillow on top of his colander so to ensure a smooth entry to space now beside Mina.
"Its mindblowing, dont you think?" he thought out load, "That years ago the world was so full of evil, that students some barely older than us, had to fight to protect this school and theirs families and friends."

Professor Lainey wished for a pin. She could have dropped it and heard it's clatter off the surrounding mountains.... Odd.

"I remind you of the battles not to depress you, but to get you thinking. You all LIVE here, you know. You walk to this Lake every week, I bet. You stroll down the halls, eat in the Great Hall. You're lucky to be surrounded by a place practically POURING out History at you. Open your eyes, take note. Think about things and why they are the way .... they are. Besides, there were also many great VICTORIES here. Heroes made. That sort of thing."


Lainey slid down from her rock, disappeared around the other side of it, and POPPED UP with an old, worn out, waaaaaaay out of date broom.


"So...," she propped it on her shoulder and made a slow sauntering move towards the scattered class, "here we sit. On the brink of battle. The cusp of war. I want you to choose one of those battles YOU know something about. Think about what side YOU would have been on, and WHY. And then I want you to pretend .... everyone else is your enemy."


Lainey used the broom she currently held to PROD Evelyn, and then laughed. At the Slytherins. "And noooo, gullible Slytherins, I'm not ganging all the Houses against you. I might have eluded to that earlier, but it was to keep you busy. You know, drama. Rumors. UNFAIR cries." Slytherins. Hehehe weren't they so much fun?

"Rules are as follows:


1. Choose a battle. Pretend you are IN it.
2. Run around, smacking your enemies with your weapons.

2a. Weapons includes kitchen utensils, your pillows (make GOOD shields!!), and any of the brooms I stole from the very pretty Flying Professor.
2b. You can TRY to fly on the brooms.... but they're very old, and you lot are very weighted down in armor. So. Do be careful?

3. Enemies = everyone.
4. Have fun. No one is meant to get HURT, so don't TRY to hurt people. If YOU hurt people, I will hurt YOU.
5. ON YOUR MARKS, GET SO, WARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"


With that, Lainey hopped on the ANCIENT broom, hovered a few feet, and then used her pillow to SWAT at Sabel, Arya, Evelyn AGAIN (HAHAHA), and then she went after Miranda. "AYYYYYYYYY ENEMY!"


SWAT. SWAT. SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT WHACK!!!

Alex looked agaped at the insane Professor, Seriously? Alex glanced around slowly unsure what battle to do..She would wait to decide lifting up an egg beater to see everyone go first so she had an idea what to do.

Theo had finally made it to an open pillow near so many other students. For awhile he had to laugh as we stumbled with all of the armor clanking around. He was still whistling when he found the pillow, "....if I only had a heart........." he'd remembered a muggle story about a scarecrow, lion and a tin man that met a young girl and traveled to the great wizard to get things they thought they lacked. The tin man made such a clatter that he reminded himself of that when he walked.

His jovial mood quickly changed though when the Professor brought up the battle that took place right where they were seated. Suddenly traveling off to see a wizard and whistling didn't seem like that much fun anymore. Theo had remembered what he'd read in the History books about the Battle between the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters and those faithful to a former and beloved Headmaster named Albus Dumbledore. Alot of good people were killed in that battle.....

"oh ahem what?" he said as he heard the professor yell "waaaaaaar", then before he knew it 'slap' "hey", he was hit with a broom stick but before he could look to see who did it 'whack' another, then another......"that's it," he scowled as he scrambled to get up off the pillow with all that armour on, "bring it on...." he yelled trying to sound like he meant it but he began giggling at the sight of all the students tripping and falling over themselves and their various metallic protective parts.

As much as Ellie'd like to fly... It didn't seem like quite the best idea at this time. But... she chose that EPIC! battle of Hogwarts in good old 1998!

Then she turned to Amy. How convenient for enemies to be so close... And she BASHED! her spatula at her protected tummy!!! Not too hard, though. She'd still like to be friends after class.

Then she went around on some loony rampage SWATTING! at everyone in sight!

Mina couldn't help but giggle slightly, he did get her and it was a bit funny. "Yes, you did and you're lucky I like you too. If it was anyone else, I would have hit you," she whispered back. Seriously, if it had been anyone else, she might have pulled her wand on them. Mina didn't do all that well with being sneaked up on.
"Very much so," she nodded as she let her mind wonder back to thinking about it. Her mind was both on the older battles but the ones from just a few months ago, still kind of lingered as well. They had fought on both sides and in the end they all fought to protect the school, but all that evil that caused her so much torture last term still scarred her. Shaking her thoughts of last term, she thought about the older battles instead.

Looking up, she heard Professor Lainey and absorbed all she could. Everyone was her enemy! Getting up from the ground, she raised her spatula and took a quick quack at Patroclus' muffin tin chest plate before running off. "Sorry!"

Was he completely stoked to be hitting friends with kitchen utensils and pillows? Only entirely. Kellen grabbed his pillow by the corners and swung it at the backs of Sabel's knees, "Take that, you evil Sore-Arm or whatever you keep referencing!" Finally! Payback for all those references to that stupid book!

O___O What in the world?!

Eyes snapping open, Evelyn immediately covered the spot where she had been prodded, rather hard too, and glared at whoever it was. *scoff* Teachers poking their students. And here she thought that the Professor most likely to do that was gone from the school.

Scowling, the Slytherin sat up, oblivious to what was going on between Destiny and Marie, and wiped any grass or dirt off of her back before picking up her cookie trays and listening to the Professor continue to speak. Pick a battle, choose a side...meh...

Standing up, Evelyn took one of the cookie trays and was about to stick it to herself with a sticking charm, when she was hit in the back of them with a pillow. ARGH! Seriously?!

Falling to her knees, and thanking Merlin she had her pasta strainer thing on for a helmet, the Slytherin looked up in time to see the Professor flying away. PFFT! NOT ON HER WATCH! Throwing her pillow at her, Evelyn smirked before getting to her feet again and sticking the sheets to her front and back before picking up her ladle. Mwaha!

Now...to just pick a battle...

Selena giggled then ran off. She really needed to find someone to hurt. "CHARGE~" Selena laughed as she wacked someone. Oops. It was Alex. "Sorry Alex, but every Slytherin for themselves," Selena apologized before going crazy. This was why she ate chocolate every morning. She ran off hitting people left at right. Pffft. She show Diggy that a girl could fight! Hmph.

Simon looked at the Professor, this was one of the best lesson's he had ever been too, right time for tactics. Simon thought to himself. Right we just run straight down the middle of the field shouting charge He thought that was a perfect plan, that was plan A, Plan B would be. I run around the field shouting We are the Champions, my friend. Simon had to laugh at that, even though it was in his head he couldn't help but laughing at it.

Simon smiled as he looked at the Professor and pick up his pillow and an egg beater and thought about the side he would have been on that was easy, he would have been on the good guys side, why because he didn't like losing.

Simon smiled as he did a trumpet sound out of his mouth and then he charged, he wanted to sing We are the Champion my Friend, but he would leave that for later, the only problem was he couldn't find anyone he wanted to hit.

Alex gaped at her friend, Selena had not just whacked her, ooh packback, she focused on the Battle of Hogwarts, where Voldemort was finally killed. She whacked Selena with an egg beater annoyed, "That's for hitting me first!" Alex told her before looking for another person to fight.

Dun, dun, dun, duh, duh, duh..

The epic battle music played in Destiny's head as she looked around the grounds. Heh, so people died on the same exact spot which she sat? Well, it was a good thing she was now sitting on a pillow. There would be no skeletons reaching up from the ground grabbing her. Nope, no way.

Hearing a sudden clatter, Destiny turned in the direction of which she heard it. Well, it took Marie long enough to fall down. She snickered slightly at the sight of her friend practically laying on Carter. Aww, and now she was asking Carter for help. "Here Marie. Let me help you up." she stood, and pulled hard on the rope.

Did she pull too hard?

Yes.



Right.

This was going to be GREAT!

Now the only thing she had to do was pick a battle and a side. Well, she didn't know which battle she wanted to think about, but she did know which side she was going to be on.

She was on the opposite side of Marie. Now, let's hear Lawson tell Destiny she can't clobber Marie.

It was the assignment!

Adjusting the funnel on her head, Destiny opened and shut the tongs that were in her hand in Marie's direction. "Watch your back."

Intimidating, huh?

Hmm. The professor made sense, which got her to thinking about all the battles held at Hogwarts. They were surrounded by a TON of history that had effected not only them but the entire wizarding community.

Of course all those thoughts were out the window when she heard what they were going to be doing. It sounded FUN. She was so lost in her fun thoughts, that she didn't see the professor coming at her on a broom, but she did feel herself being hit with a pillow.

The crazy!awesome professor just SWATTED at her with a pillow. It. Was. SOOO. On.

We are coming after you Lainey. Yes, we are.

But first, she had to get her enemy!classmates. Rolling noisely off her pillow with a mischevious grin, she swated at Ivory and Sabel before running off giggling towards the brooms. She wanted to FLY. Even if she couldn't fly to high.

"What the..?" Dianna was watching the professor whack some students in the class. It did look fun and some students started whacking each other too.
She didn't know what came up to her when she started whacking random classmates all at the same time. "Weeee!!!!"

...OH.

Raiden immediately jumped to his feet, glad he'd duplicated his pillow and hidden the original. Surely, with all the metallic items that people were swinging around, it would not survive. He picked up a broom (longer range, that. The handle's length would be useful) and paused to stare at his classmates. They'd gone from sombre to practically jubilant in a matter of seconds.

Funny how getting to whack the hell out of people did that. Holding the broom halfway down the handle, his duplicated pillow in his left hand, Raiden grinned and bounced on the balls of his feet as Arya swatted at Sabel.

This was going to be so fun.

Alex sighed before deciding to just whack people randomly, not hard enough to hurt but so they'd know. She made sure to avoid hitting the Slytherin Prefect and his possee as she called them. He was scary when upset after all.

"Thinking about something?" Selena asked as she poked Alex with her 'sword'. "Because on the field, there's no time to think, just do," Selena pointed out.

The battle had begun and before Patroclus had even got to his feet, he was whacked in the chest, and was on his back. From his not so comfy position on the ground he saw Mina, disappear into the fray.
"I will find you" he called after her, "Mark my words!"
Jumping to his feet, he gave his war cry "Aiyiyiyiyi!"

Alex poked Selena back smirking, "Aren't you going to hit the guy that called your sword girly?" before whacking her and whacking other people at random.

Selena wrinkled her nose. "Can't find him," Selena said nonchalantly as she aimed for Alex's knee. It was an open spot to hit.

WAR TIME!

Becca didn't hesitate to snatch up one of the old brooms. She mounted it and took a moment to steady herself as she hovered above the ground. Yeeeah. LOT of extra weight from the armor. But, she simply imagined that the pot was a Quidditch helmet and the cooking pans were her basic Quidditch armor. Mind over matter. And her spatula was her beloved Beater's bat!

...Heh heh.

Upon gaining some balance and confidence on the ragged broom, Becca zoomed(well, as fast as her broom and added weight would allow) towards Lainey, pillow swinging wildly at the woman with some sort of crazy moves similar to those of a ninja. "...I'm oh-so TERRIBLY sorry about the team thing... you said everyone is my enemy! Take down the strongest link first, right?" Whack, whack, whack.

Whack.

She couldn't think of a better way to take out her anger.

Sweet sucess!

She had a vehicle. Grabing her old, ugly but still rideable broom, she mounted it as quickly as a preteen covered in cooking!armor could. She decided that it would be easier to use the pillow as a weapon until she had somehow lost it, and left the utensils in her robe pockets.

And now for her next victum, but who to attack? Quickly glancing around the battle field, her eyes narrowed in on Raiden. Sitting there all innocent and just BEGGING to be attacked.

Pushing off the ground, she hesitantly hovered a few feet off the ground to make sure the shaky broom wouldn't give before leaning forward. Being as sneaky as she could (which wasn't that sneaky since she couldn't stop giggling), the little puff rode up behind Raiden and SWATED at him. "Mwahaha! I gottchaaaa."

And she was off again!!

OOH that meant war! Alex thought hitting her friend's shoulder with the egg beater slightly harder. "Well why don't you beat up someone he knows then?" Alex asked hitting her again.

Selena deflected the second blow and raised a brow. "Because I don't know them," Selena shrugged as she hit Alex's right leg then her forearm.
