Do you like being beautiful or making others pretty? Ever wonder if there is MORE to potions than just those learned during Potions class? Or how a magical beautifying potion is different from that of muggle products? Step right up to the booth, where you might recognize the two people from Madame Primpernelle's in Diagon Alley.

Before you get a chance to make your very first Beautifying potion, please pick up one of the pamphlets (Outside, Inside) spread across the table.

When you've finished looking through the pamphlet, you can try your hand at making your very first beauty product using the instructions and kits at the back of the table.



If you have any questions about working with beauty potions, please feel free to ask Sophia or Etienne, who are both here to help guide you and offer advice. Let it be known, though, that Etienne might not be particularly happy to do so, but he'll provide all the information you may want to know anyway.

Finishing up straightening the last few papers on the table, Sophia turned to look at her assistant. Surprisingly he had done a pretty decent job, despite the fact that even she knew he wasn't happy working with beauty potions. In some sense, she almost felt bad for him, but yet knew this was just a stepping stone. He'd find his niche somewhere soon, she knew.

"Good work, Mr Kenning," she said, satisfied, as she glanced around at the other tables and students. Someone soon HAD to be interested in beauty and potions, right? Right.

Oooh, this looked like a cool booth. Maddie made her way over, and approached the person manning the booth
'Hallo!' she said cheerfully, and picked up a pamphlet, flicking through 'So, we can just have a go at making the beauty potions?'

Ooh! And their first client? YAY! My did this girl look young . . . oh well, it was never too young to start considering career options. And potions was one of those careers which you started learning even in your first year . . . So was horticulture/herbology. Speaking of which, was her good old frenemy Anastasia still working at Hogwarts? Sophia had no clue.

Shrugging, she grinned at the girl before her, "Hello my dear!" Sophia exclaimed. "I'm Miss Vivaldi and I ... OH! You look familiar?!" She squinted at the familiar face. Right; she probably saw the girl at Primpernelle's over the summer. "I mean, yes, have a go at making the beauty potion. All the ingredients are there. This is a fairly simply one, but if you need assistance, I'm here. As well as for any questions you might have about the field."

Bonnie walked over to the booth. She looked around quickly and looked at the only other student there. Maddie. Huh. Bonnie never thought Maddie would be interested in something like this. But, there's always a first for everything. Bonnie took a deep breath and took a pamphlet. Woah. She was a yes for almost everything! She listened in and grinned widely. "Cool." She commented and grabbed the ingredients.

This is pretty cool.
Yep, c'mon concentrate! Start!

Bonnie sighed and added the glitter into the aloe vera gel. She sighed in content as she sniffed the essential oil fragrance. Hmm. She added the drop and stirred. The glitter mixed in and the mix went smooth. She put a lid on the container and offered the girl it. "So," She wanted to find out EVERYTHING. "What's it like? Working with beauty potions?"

Sophia was starting wonder if perhaps she'd set her display up ALL WRONG. After all, her stand area seemed fairly dead . . . sniff. Clearly people were just not into Beauty Potions. Until another girl - it did seem to be a girl-favored field - approached and quietly grabbed a pamphlet and then began working on the glitter.

"It looks perfect. Good job," Sophia offered enthusiastically. She was just about to ask the girl if she had any questions about a career in beauty potions . . . when the girl beat her to it. "Every day is different. It's just like potions, really, but the stuff you're brewing you need to make sure its safe for contact with the skin. But it's certainly interesting and not to mention beautiful." Sophia nodded at the girl.
