"Hello Colette." Wynter said with a nod of her head. She bit her lip, for a moment and then realized that she had been asked a question. "Seventh." She responded. "And you?" she asked, keeping her sentences shorter, she wasn't sure if Colette was used to her thick Greek accent as Phyre was. She smiled as Crash! began to purr when Colette scratched his head.



Wynter listened to her as she spoke, moving to sit down across the compartment, she pushed her trunk off to the side for the moment being. "My parents moved to India when I was five, my sister was a few years out of school by then and I've lived with her since." she paused, lightly dropping her shoulder bag to the seat and pulling Crash! out of the bag onto her lap. "My parents didn't want me to lose my Greek knowledge by moving to India." She explained.

Wynter nodded her head, though she didn't quite think leaving a small child with her older, insane sister while they moved to India was the best choice they made, Wynter understood why they did it. "Yes, I'm a seventh year." Wynter confirmed raising an eyebrow. She ran a hand over Crash!'s body as she spoke next. "Well, I don't know hardly anyone, so I just chose a place to sit." Wynter told her, "And, I'm just fine sitting with you and Colette and..." she trailed off turning to the boy.

She sighed with relief; this girl seemed friendly enough, and Adelyn was desperate to make a friend. "Hi, my name's Adelyn. I'd love to come sit with you, thanks so much." She smiled, trying her best not to sound too desperate and scare her new friend away.

Wynter cleared her throat. "Ah, yes. I am new. I had never been to London before this summer." She told her. Suddenly, Crash! bit a couple of her fingers hard, "Ouch!" She yelped in pain. "Oh bugger, I don't know where the cat food is." She mumbled as she dug through her trunk with Crash! in one hand I'm even starting to talk like them now! she thought. Slamming the trunk lid shut she pulled her wand out and muttered a spell producing a small bowl of cat feed for the cat. She sat the two of them on the compartment floor and leaned back in her seat. "My sister and her husband are going through a rather nasty divorce and she thought it'd be good for me to see my father's school and sent me off to stay with her best friend in Denmark." She explained as she nursed her hurting fingers.

But that's okay! if you don't want to move to the back we could find a seat in the front over here..." She gestured some of the empty compartments. "It was painful." Wynter told her with a little chuckle. She gave a deep sigh and slouched down in the seat and brought her legs up to her chest. "Oh, that'd be fantastic if you would!" Wynter exclaimed. For some reason she felt like she was putting on a false face...though she was happy to be meeting new people. She fell silent for a moment thinking about how to respond to the question. Nick was seen with another woman...that wasn't her place to share with someone she had just met, though she knew that Phyre meant well. "Well, it's been tough. It's been going on for a couple years now. I've taken care of the two kids for a while now while they've been trying to settle things." She told her, that should give her enough to go by, and if she wanted to know more, she could ask questions.

She smiled back at the girl, ever so grateful she had finally found someone to sit with. Then she made her way into the empty compartment, taking a seat next to the window, finally beginning to relax for the first time since boarding the train. "Thanks again. Are you a first year, too?"

For the kids, for the parents.... for everyone involved. Is it wrong that I want my parents to divorce?" Phyre looked to where she knew Colette to sit and bit her lip. She knew what she was talking about. She would be able to answer better, probably...
