Was he good at charms or was he not?
Geez. He really was dim sometimes. He could just summon the paper over.
But he was still going to give her a hard time.

Pft. Jimbo was very egotistical. But with this he had reason. He was very good at charms and he wasn't bluffing.
But she was challenging him. Well, alright. Jimbo Farley never turns down a challenge.
He smirked at her and lifted his wand to the page he had been working on before, which was flashing between yellow and pink. He made it stop flashing and cleared his throat for dramatic effect.

"Colorus Fulgeo, Yellow to Pink to Green to PURPLE."
HA!!!
HE WAS ADDING A FOURTH COLOUR!! HAHA!!!

But it didn't work. And he didn't expect it to. It was only his first try, after all.
Then another try and he managed to get the third colour.

"How many times was that Monty? What was that? Two? And how many times did you do it? What? Three? So, you're telling me that it took me one less try and I got it on my SECOND try? Wow, so who wins? I do. Yes. Yes, I do."

Honestly, he was surprised himself that he'd gotten it on the second try. It was probably because he had already mastered the Yellow to Pink.
He made sure Monty wasn't looking as he made the page stop flashing and tried the three colour change again.
And he didn't get it.
It was a fluke.

He glanced over at Monty and confirmed that she HADN'T noticed.
Well. He was going to let her think that he really had mastered it. Muaha.

He tried the four colour change three more times before he got it.
He bet Monty couldn't do THAT.
Iris rolled her eyes at Jimbo. "No, I didn't get you any paper. I thought you already have some." She grinned a little, "And no, I wasn't thinking of you over by the boxes." Clearly. Silly boy.

She watched him, with her head propped on one hand and her elbow leaning on the desk. She smirked as he tried to make it all dramatic. Iris's grin only got better when it didn't work. She just sat there, smiling.

EYE ROLL.

Jimbo needed his head deflating. She'd figure something out later. "No. You don't win. It was luck. You didn't really get it, because you were aiming for four colours. But you only achieved three." She stuck her tongue out at him and grinned. She didn't reeally have a point. She just didn't want him believing that he'd 'won'.

Iris picked up her paintbrush and begun painting away, completely ignoring Jimbo. She could hear him practicing the spell some more, but she didn't look up to see how amazing he'd gotten at the spell. She just carried on painting. And ignoring the fact that her snake looked more like a mutant Pacman than a serpent.

Hehe.

So awesome, it was time to make a flashing picture. She grabbed some paper and began to draw. She is not the best artist so she stuck to hearts and and stars. She felt it made since she loved being a Gryffindor and and she felt Gryffindor is a beautiful star that never seases to shine. She finished off her picture Writing Gryffindor rules right in the miggle with a gold marker in cursive. Now it was time to color animate in colors but she did not want to just animate the backround color. Oh no, she decided ro animate the pictures instead she wanted animate the colors of the pictures on her poster. She pointed her wand at the heart and said, "Coloros fugleo pink to white". She saw it happen right before her eyes, it was so cool. She then pointed her wand at the piddle of her star and said, "coloros fugleo red to blue", and that happened too. She then pointed her wand at her last two stars on the outside and said, "coloros fugleo pink to blue and thats just what happened, flashing from pink to blue stars. She felt she was done and she smiled at her finshed product.

Iris looked at her picture, feeling quite happy with it.

Even though the snake STILL looked like mutant!Pacman...

She picked up her wand and pointed to the grey parts of the picture. "Colourus Fulgeo Grey to Green!" Yes. She was going to just keep her painting simple. hehe. She looked at the snake. What colours could she change it to? She tapped the snake and then made the circles. One right, one left. "Colourus Fulgeo Green to Lime!"

Then she pointed it at the traingles on the snake. Waving her wand in a circle right and then a circle left, "Colourus Fulgeo Yellow to Pink!"

Sitting back, Iris looked at her picture and smiled. She was quite proud of it. Even it was very basic and simple. They were showing off their charms skills, not their painting skills, no? So it didn't really matter how elaborate her painting skills were.
SPOILER!!: Poster
She then picked up her quill and pulled over some normal parchment.
Why did she choose to make her poster like this?

Well... Uh. It was spontaneous! She didn't really plan that she was going to make it... She used the green and silver for house pride... and wrote that because the Snakes were CLEARLY better than the Lions. But that was just about it... there was nothing else to it!

Iris sat there, looking at her parchment, figuring out how to word "I chose to plan my poster like this because it was all spontaneous. I didn't plan my poster." in a way that would earn her more points.

OOC: I realize some of you are still working on parts of the assignment, but I just wanted to post a little reminder all the same. I still need a ten-sentence paragraph describing the banner from a few of you. You'll still get points without the paragraph, but the banner itself is worth 10, and the paragraph worth 5. Also, please don't forget to PM me a link to the post containing your banner and paragraph (plus your username, character's name/year, house, and member number).

Also, I shortened everyone's quoted posts to just the part with the banner and paragraph, but I did read everything!

SPOILER!!: The Banner

SPOILER!!: The Description

For my Banner I decided to go against the norm, and rather than choose a house or internation Qudditch team, I with permission for the lovely Professor Carlton choice to create a Banner celebrating the fact I was born in December. I decided that I would encompass as much as I could that is involved in the month of December, and that resulted in the Inclusion of the Zodiac Signs, Birthstones, Christmas and the Weather. The two main images included in my poster are the Centaur and the Goat, representing the December Zodiacs of Saggitarius and Capricorn respectively. The colours I used on these celestial images are the colours reflected in the Birthstones of those Zodiac; Topas for Saggitarius and Ruby for Capricorn. The Orginally Background of the banner also reflects Birthstones, as is evident in the use of Turquoise, as this is the stone of the month of December. But not only does the colours of Turquoise express the birthstone, I have also used it to show the weather of December. The blue and white can be seen to symbolise the snow and ice of Northern Hemisphere winter, but at the same time the pristine water's of Summer in the Southern Hemisphere, the two seasons December endures. To create the look of turquiose stone, I used a mixture of white and blue and sponged it onto the banner to give it a textured look, rather than a simple one deminsion of blue paint!
It would not be December without Christmas, so by use of the Flashing Charm the orginally Banner, transfers into one of Green and Red, the colours of Chirstmas and with the inculsion of the gold star, I hoped to create a Christmas Moment! The Text of "December Born" is a simple slogan that is evident in both flashes of the Banner, to show I am proud of my Month, where every I am!
"Very nice job!" Lexi said, coming to a stop beside Patroclus and his December creation. "I do love that theme and those colors...what with it being our birthday month and all. As soon as you're ready, you may turn in your assignment and be dismissed."

SPOILER!!: Evelyn's banner!

Evelyn's other parchment
My banner, obviously, is a Slytherin banner for the upcoming Quidditch Championship game. While Hufflepuff has a good team, there was just no way was I NOT going to be making a banner to support my house at this most important time of the year. Having seen in the muggle world that they used checkers for the indication of a starting line, and finishing line I suppose, I thought that would be a neat idea to use on my banner as well. The checkers on my banner are more of an indication that Slytherin will start and finish…in First! Whether figuratively or literally; and if not in first, then we are still completely awesome. And if not in first, then we tried our best and we will not back down from improving and coming back full force the next year! I’ve also lightly sketched the Slytherin symbol in the background to show my support for my house. To finish up my banner, I used the Slytherin house colors to bring it all together. Since this is a Slytherin banner and everything, and not a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor one, it only seemed appropriate to do so. Plus the colors silver and green are just awesome and would have used them regardless of what banner I was doing.
"Love it, Miss Flores. I especially like the flashing checkerboard-type designs," she commented. "You're dismissed, as well, as soon as you turn in your assignment."

Gold could have jumped for joy, if she had not taken a look down right then, and realized that both her shoes were wet, covered with sticky, red-and-brown paint. Paint which had trickled into her socks and - now that she was not concentrating on the banner to the point where she tended to forget everything else - felt very, very uncomfortable.

Eek. EEK.

Shaking her head, she cleaned her hands, screwed back lots of lid,and placed everything she had taken, back in its proper place - including the broken paintbrush, which she happily fixed with a simple Reparo. Then she returned to her seat, used wand-work to help her banner dry far more quickly than it would have otherwise; and, placing it on the table, dipped her quill in PINK! ink to write down her explanation of why she had chosen to make this banner. When she was sure she was done, she raised a hand to get Professor Carlton's attention.

"Should I place my banner with the others, professor?" She asked, sweaty but clearly cheerful.

Text Cut: Ze Banner && Para

We can take an airplane and fly across the globe,
Look down upon the colors, everyone, let's go.
Because --
Love, Love, Love, La - La Love, La - La - Love makes the world go round.
Love. Makes the world go round. ♥

I have designed a Chocolate-and-Roses Pride banner, Professor! Chocolate with roses is, by popular consensus, one of the most beautiful combinations to see. It is exactly this - the beauty of this combination, and its symbolism of love - that made me want to focus on it, in my effort. The layout of the banner is simple: It is doubled-bordered, with a thin, black outer boundary and a thicker, white inner one. The focus is several different kinds of mouth-water chocolates, laid in the company of a couple of fresh, wet red roses - red, and not any other colour, because red symbolizes love, joy, beauty and a truckload of other, gorgeous emotions and sentiments, all in one. Chocolate and roses have both, at one time or the other, been labelled 'Divine.' They are both also known to hold a special place, in symbolism related to love, romance and the heart. Hence the sub-caption of 'Divinity in a heartbeat' over the name of the combination, which flashes from pink to black, and back again, because PINK! is obviously one of my favourite colours, and black is an all-time favourite colour to show enigma and mystery, add a tint of subtlety. The last touch is the ever-changing, white heart in the top, left corner - white for the representation of something pure and calming, and the change in size to symbolize versatility and richness.

"Oh, yes, Miss Laksh, go ahead and place your banner with the others...and your paragraph on my desk," Lexi answered. Her eyes traveled from Gold's face to her socks, and the professor laughed softly at the paint-covered prefect. She'd help Gold clean up, but she had a feeling the sixth year knew how to do that all on her own. "...and I do love that banner. It makes me want to...eat chocolate."

"...and get roses," she added.

Then, she began to write out her explanation on a piece of parchment.

...Yep. That sounded good.

Becca's hand shot up in the air. "Hey professor, do I win?"
Hmm? Does she win? That got a little smile out of Lexi as she traveled from Gold to Becca. She studied the girl's banner for a moment then jokingly replied, "Yup, you win. I do love that family saying you've got there, too." Awww, a final season banner, too. "I'm glad you had a good final season, too. Now, as soon as you've turned all this in...banner over there on the floor and paragraph on my desk...you're dismissed."

Then with a piece of parchment she wrote an explanation,. yey.
"That's surely an attention getter right there...I like it!" Lexi said, coming up beside Brody. With all the yellow and the flashing crests, it would be hard to miss Bordy's banner in a crowd full of people. "When it's dry, you're free to turn in your assignment and head out. Well, there was certainly no mistaking the fact that Lori Bristol was finished, that was for sure. Enthusiasm, though, was something Lexi always loved, so with an extra-wide smile on her face, she headed over to see what the girl had come up with. "What an adorable little badger," she commented, pointing to the left side of Lori's banner. "Very good job, Miss Bristol. You're free to turn in your assignment and be dismissed, as well."

Yes, the professor like it but now she was to write 10 sentences on her poster. She had a lot of things going through her head as she made her poster so she knew this part would be easy.

Parchment to turn in:
Quote:

Herminny Telerino

Year: 5th

House: Gryffindor

Class: Charms 3

For my poster I chose to be a little different. Instaead of making the backround flash in different colors I decided I would go for making the pictures on my poster flicker in different colors. I kept the red backround stagnent but I changed everything else cause I wanted to different. Once I finished coloring my poster and drawing all the pictures I started to get ideas popping in my head of the exact colors I wanted for each picture. I started with the logo Gryffindor rules making it sparcle from gold to white. I then looked at my pink heart which I put in cause I love being a Gryffindor and thought white would complement it quite well and thats where that color change came. As for the big star thats cause Gryffindor shines like a star to me and just changeing the middle color was just for a change. The last two symbols were last minute adds to balance the poster and so they are noticed the pink to a shocking blue was put into effect and thats my poster.
Upon finishing Herminny got up and handed her parchment and poster to the professor and left as he was allowed to do now cause she was done. She had so much fun and she knew this is a spell she would never forget.

Destiny waited until Evelyn was finished her banner before she really got into her own. It was just that she wanted to make sure Evelyn wouldn't copy off of her.

She didn't want her friend to get in trouble for being a COPY CAT!

Nodding at Evelyn and her lame-o banner, Destiny finished twirling her brush on her own paper. Sure, she might have left a few white spots here and there, but that was what made the banner so AWESOME! Or she could have missed those spots because she was just too lazy to actually finish the thing. It was decided earlier what she was going to write on the banner, so grabbing the silver paint, she dipped a clean paintbrush in it and started to write. There were a lot of letters..

Opting out of drawing any things, since her drawing skills were HORRIBLE, she placed the paintbrush down and picked up her wand. 'Twas time to make the colors flash! "Colorus Fulgeo Silver to Green." she said and tapped the letters that she had wrote. Not caring that the tip of her wand was now silver, she gave the movement of a complete circle to the right, then a complete circle to the left. Bahahahahaha! The letters were flashing!

Now that THAT was done, she needed to work on her paragraph.

SPOILER!!: Paragraph!

My banner is definitely a Slytherin banner since it is green and silver just like our house colors. I decided to make this banner in support of MY house team and the Quidditch championship they are in and will WIN. Rooting for the Hufflepuffs would just be silly and I wouldn't want to be called a house traitor and all. I still have four more years left of school, and I don't want to be known as the Slytherin that supports Hufflepuffs, thank you very much. Me banner is simple, yet AWESOMELY intimidating. Intimidating for MY house, so that way they know if they lose, they will have to feel the wrath of ME. I decided to make only the letters flash, so it wasn't such an eyesore, since I don't want the Slytherin's to get distracted by too much awesome, you know? Besides, I like how it looks like the letters disappear when they flash to green. So AWESOME!

SPOILER!!: Prepare to be amazed, by Destiny's AWESOME banner! And I'm only kidding. :P

The letters are totally flashing to match the green background.

"Professor! I'm done!"

Rex thought and thought about the poster, well how about two he thought to himself?
Rex has got it. The Gryffindor symbol plus Quidditch. Another poster will be of Rex's favorite Quidditch team "The HolyHead Harpies." Well for the first poster, he needed red and yellow paint on the white background. Rex got gold and green paint for the colors of the HolyHead Harpies. Rex starts on the first poster. He takes awhile but the picture on the first poster is coming together nicely. The second poster took a little longer. Wow, it looks good.Hopefully the teacher will like the poster.
" Thanks for the interesting assignment" Rex told the teacher.

SPOILER!!: Two posters

Legend had been quite the whole class but it wasn't because he wasn't paying attention. Nope. Because he actually was. It was because the word Quidditch had come up. And now they were basically making Quidditch banners? Well...house banners but...still.

Legend looked down at his empty paper and then closed his eyes. He wanted something that no one would do. Something original but....maybe funny? Nah he didn't need something funny really just something original. Something different.

Opening his eyes quickly the Gryffindor's eyes lit up. HE GOT IT! Grabbing a paintbrush some colors and even some chalk and charcoal that he had in his pocket (don't ask....Legend wasn't really normal) he began his masterpiece.

The paintbrush danced under his hand as if he were moving on his own. His mind was thinking it but the paintbrush, was doing all the work. Or so it seemed. Dropping the paintbrush he began working with the charcoal and then after the chalk and then it was ALMOST finished. "Colorus Fulgeo pink to lime green!" After making the confusing movement with his wand it was COMPLETE!

Now the description was left. Meh, this sucked. Taking his quill he scribbled down a few lines of what his banner meant to him. "Here Professor Carlton" Legend said holding out his banner and his paper.

SPOILER!!: Legend's Epicness

SPOILER!!: His description

The idea had just hit me out of no where. I hate Quidditch and whats the point in showing Gryffindor Pride? That would just start fights between houses. So I decided to do something that was basically just....me. Sure it isn't about Hogwarts but I am apart of Hogwarts so my opinion matters right? I wanted to show how not everyone thinks that Quidditch is the most amazing thing on the planet, because that's how most people at Hogwarts act. I wanted to show how Quidditch is a sport for people with no brains with no skill to do anything else, and that Quidditch players are weridos...expect for my sister....she just had too much energy. But basically I just wanted to make something simple. I didn't want to go overboard, sure that would have looked better but what's the point? I mean if I did I would just look like I'm trying to rub it in everyone's faces that I think Quidditch is stupid but I'm not trying to do that. I'm just trying to bring it to everyone's attention that the WHOLE world does not revovle around Quidditch.....
and that it's also stupid, but you know the first thing is more important. So I painted a picture of a brain because I wanted to show that normally everyone's brain was a certain way but with Quidditch on their brains it went KABOOOOM and exploded (hence the second picture). Then I thought it needed a bit more artistic feel so I kinda gave it a smuding effect and added more words.

And then vola my masterpiece.

Marie finished working quietly on her first banner making sure the colors were just right. Once it was finished she set it off to the side to let the paint dry while she worked on the second banner.

She laid out the new banner paper, got a different brush and different paint colors for this one. She smiled as she worked on this one. This banner was going to show her support for one person in particular, her awesome boyfriend. Once this banner was finished she set it off tothe side to dry while she cleaned up her work area.

She took the paints back to the front, cleaned the brushes and put them away, then went back to see if the banners were ready for the finishing touches... the flashing charm. Seeing that the second banner was still a little wet she decided to work on her description of her banners. When her paragraphs were finished it was finally time to make the banners flash. Grabbing the first banner she pointed her wand at it. "Colorus Fulgeo, Green to Silver!" she said with a circle to the right and a circle to the left and a tap on the green background. She then did the same with the letters. "Colorus Fulgeo, Silver to Green!" Now to change the second banner. "Colorus Fulgeo, Red to Gold!" and the background started to flash. "Colorus Fulgeo, Gold to Red!" and now the letter too were flashing.

Looking at both banners she was satisfied with her work. "Professor Carlton, I'm finished with my banners."

I chose to make two banners instead of one because I had someone to support at both Quidditch matches. The first one I made was in support of my own house Slytherin. It is a simple (yet AWESOME) banner that shows my support of them winning the cup. I chose to simply leave it as Slytherin for the Cup since I plan on our house winning BOTH the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup this term. The colors for this banner are of course Slytherin house colors Green and Silver. The background is done in a base green and the letters in silver. Both colors flash at the same time from green to silver and silver to green. After the championship game I plan on displaying this banner in the Slytherin Common Room to keep our house motivated to win the House Cup.

The second banner I made was to show support to my boyfriend Carter while his team Gryffindor plays Ravenclaw in the consolation match. This is another awesome banner simply because it has Carter's name on it. The colors for this one are Gryffindor house colors of red and gold with the background being a red base and the letters being gold. As with the first banner this one too flashes in opposite directions. The red to gold and the gold to red. Even though both of my posters are pretty simple I feel they both get the point across about who I am supporting. To me that is more important than a lot of fancy pictures that just clutter up the banner.

"Judging by your woohoo, I take it you're finished, Miss Griffin?" Lexi asked, approaching the table with a smile. She was still amused at the girl's reactions for both the banner and the paragraph. Just then, the girl confirmed that she was done...with both the banner and the paragraph, it seemed. "Your banner looks fantastic, and that's a well-written paragraph, too. Well done, Prefect."
Sarah was happy. She had written the paragraph and painted the drawing, and neither of them were terrible. Standing admiring her work, she waited for the Professor to come over, giving her a broad smile when she did. "Ohh, haha, yes. I am," Sarah went slightly red when she realised her exclamation of happiness had been heard from the other side of the room. "Sorry to be so loud."

Oh Professor Carlton approved of both. Big Grin.

"Thank you, ma'am," Sarah nodded, smiling at the woman warmly. She really did enjoy doing Charms, and Professor Carlton certainly made it more fun. "I'll go and place it all with the others, then go. If you don't mind?" A quizzical glance followed her question, but as that is what everyone else who had finished had done, she carried on with that plan.

Collecting the now dry painting, and piece of written work, Sarah wandered over to the pile of drawings and left hers with them. Then she made her way to the teachers desk, putting her paragraph on the top of the pile. Back at her desk, she bent down and collected her bag. "Thanks for the great lesson, Professor," she grinned, giving her a small wave as she headed out the door.

"Professor! I'm done!"
...and no doubt Destiny Sheperd was done, as well. Lexi heard that much when the Slytherin girl called to her from across the room. As she made her way to Destiny, Lexi pretty much made up her mind that whatever this girl had come up with, had to be epic. For some reason, Destiny always got a laugh out of Lexi, even when the professor knew she shouldn't be laughing.

Not laughing at Destiny, of course, but at some of the things she could come up with. Like...getting revenge on the Slytherin seeker for not catching the snitch. Or, at least, that's what her banner said, Lexi finally saw. With a slight smile on her face, she said, "Looks good, Miss Sheperd. I don't think you'll have any problems convincing the seeker to catch that snitch now."

"If you're all done and ready to turn everything in, the banner goes on the far side of the room with the rest of them, and the paragraph goes on my desk," she added.

Passing by Rex Trigwell, Lexi heard the boy comment about how interesting he found the assignment. "Well thank you, Mr. Trigwell," she said, noticing that he'd also finished not one, but two banners. "Oh, and you did two banners! The Harpies and the Lions---great choices. You can turn in your banner over there, on the far side of the room, and when you're done with your paragraph, you can put it on my desk."

If Lexi had happened to be drinking a nice glass of water right about now, she'd have likely spewed drink all over Legend Chosen and the rest of the class. His banner was literally that funny. It was to Lexi at least. "Mr. Chosen---that is brilliant," she said, still laughing just a little. "Well, no one ever said you had to make a positive Quidditch banner, now did they? This...is just great. I've gotta show Max..."

Her voice trailed off as she thought about the Quidditch official's reaction. No doubt he wouldn't think the banner to be as amusing as Lexi had. "Thank you, Mr. Chosen, for sharing that bit of creativity with us. Once you've turned in your banner, you're free to go."

"Now, how did I know one of those banners would mention Mr. Phillips," Lexi said, giving Marie a little smile. Carter had to have one of the most supportive girlfriends in the world. Lexi had never seen a Slytherin cheer for a Gryffindor quite as much as Marie cheered for Carter. "I love both banners, and I think Mr. Phillips and your housemates will love their banners, as well. That's a wrap for you, and you're free to turn in your assignment and go."

I wouldn't want to have to teach an entire lesson with you lot shouting at me." She gave Sarah a playful look, but inside, she was thinking that someone would have to be hit with a silencing charm if they yelled for one solid class period.

"Oh, no, I don't mind. Go ahead and turn in your assignment and feel free to leave. I'm glad you liked the lesson, too," she added.

"Alright, everyone, class time is nearly at an end, so try and finish your banners and paragraphs quickly," she said, addressing everyone still in class. "Once you're done, you may turn in your banner over there...with the rest of them...then place your paragraph on my desk..."

OOC: The deadline to turn in your banner and paragraph is today, July 13, at 11:59 PM EST. Remember to PM me a link to the post containing your banner and paragraph, and include your heading (username, character's name/year, house, and member number).

Marie smiled at Professor Carlton when she said she had a feeling one of the banners would mention Carter. Well of course one of them would. She couldn't very well make a banner without him in it, it just wouldn't be right. After all he was the only reason she was supporting Gryffindor. "Thanks, I hope he likes it," she said.

Before leaving she put her banners on the pile with the others and her parchment on the professors desk. "Have a great day Professor," she said as she grabbed her bag and left.

Hmm, now when would she get those banners back?

Xylon looked up and realized Gold was done. Well. No worries. He was done too. He only needed to add the required last touch.

"Colorus Fulgeo gold to red."

Gold. To red. He glanced at Gold as he executed the two circles, one to the right and one to the left. She was pretty suited to Gryffindor what with her name and hair, come to think of it.

"Done professor," he said, raising a hand. He was pretty sure they were supposed to place their banners somewhere but he had been so lost in his own world --- paints, he loved --- that he had missed out any instructions she had given, after the initial explanation of the project.

Not his fault the project had been so interesting!

SPOILER!!: Banner stuff. We'll pretend the text is flashing from gold to red :P

Explanation:

To be honest I’m not a fan of Quidditch ma’am, but I consider it an honour to be in a position to root for my house. This is exactly why I chose a banner that would depict house unity and support. I wanted to go for something that stood out but wasn't very 'in your face.' The background is gold-tinted red because the two hues are my team colours. I’ve painted the Gryffindor crest on twice to give make my cause --– support for my house and house team –-- more conspicuous. The other Gryffindor crest, a less commonly used one, gives the banner a touch of balance and aura due to its darker shades. In the backdrop the golden leaves represent not only my house but sunlight, courage, knowledge, power and hope. We'll need all those to win the Quidditch Cup next term! I’ve painted the name of the house, yellow letters on a red stripe and written my message ---– (Gryffindor) for the Cup (not only the Quidditch Cup but the house Cup too!) –--- half a dozen times to REALLY convey it across!

"You're welcome, Miss Salazar, and I'm sure he will," Lexi replied. Waving goodbye to Marie, Lexi called out over her shoulder, "You have a good day, too!" Now then...how many more students were still working? Class time was just about at an end, and Lexi had a meeting to get to.

"Well that's one awesome banner," she added, admiring Xylon's work. "Great use of the Gryffindor crests and colors. Go ahead and turn in your banner and paragraph while I dismiss the others."

As Lexi dismissed the rest of the class, she cleaned up the messes that had been made and levitated the supplies back into the boxes they'd come from. "Thanks, everyone, for a great year! If I don't see you wandering up and down the corridors, I'll see you for sure at the feast! Have a good day," she added.
