Raiden half-grinned before going after his muffin. Lina's guardians were Healers, a fact he hadn't forgotten. He had sorta grown up in hospitals as well, and thus... had been constantly eating healthy things. And his father always made healthy stuff during the summer, as well.

"I grew up on healthy stuff all the time too... I really didn't have a choice in the matter, and I still don't during the summers." He shrugged. "I eat healthy most times, I just tend to eat a lot more sugar during the school term."

At least during this school term. Either he was sucking down two or three apples at a time or he was downing Ice Mice and Bertie Bott's like it was nobody's business. It was balanced, at least in his mind. Heh.

She couldn't help laughing. "Yeah... I'm hooked on candy a lot." Then, she remembered. Her bag of candy went missing right around... She looked about and didn't see anything. "I think the house elves must have cleaned it up. When I was trying to get- get Violet to the hospital wing, I think I dropped one of my bags of candy in here."

Awwwww.

"You lost candy?" The elves had probably swept it up and tossed it out by now. Raiden peered under the counter, but there was no sign of wayward sweets. Hmmm. "They're fast about cleaning stuff up, so... I'm not surprised it's gone already."

Taking a bite of his muffin, he chewed on it for a moment. There were chocolate chips in it, not that he'd need the energy from the bits of sugary goodness now. Still... nommy.

"Well... next time you go to Hogsmeade, you can get more maybe?"

She nodded. "It's not a big deal, I think. I had some stashed in my things that I retrieved, though I probably will get more next time I'm in Hogsmeade. It's just a pain sometimes, since it's not like I have anyone to pay for my things. At least I've been turning over a decent profit."

"Profit?" Raiden raised his eyebrows and paused, his coffee in his hand and halfway to his mouth. "Oh, you're selling potions, right?"

That was what she meant, surely? He vaguely recalled her saying something about profits before, when he'd talked to her last term, but... hmmm. It had been so long ago. But... well that was the only thing she could mean, wasn't it?

"It would be nice to have some skill I could make money off of," he murmured, raising the warm coffee to his lips. "All the money I have comes from doing things for my father during the summer. You're lucky."

She looked down. "I guess..." She ate a piece of strawberry and closed her eyes. "But I spend nearly everything to come here. It's worth it, though. I can have whatever I want to eat, get to do other stuff... But to get to this point, I-- Well, Raiden, you're the only one in the school that I ever really knew. I spent all my time brewing or researching or doing other things so that I could make sure I was always on top. I think this is the first term I've gotten to relax. And even then, this term seems to be keeping me on my toes. During the summer, I do nothing but brew potions or experiment so that I have something to sell or bargain with. But I've bought my own robes, my own wand, my own books, my own... everything."

She looked back up at him and smiled. "But I'm really proud. Because now I actually have a little extra money to spend, so I could get some really nice stuff for making potions and still have some pocket money for treats."

Waaaait. Had Lina just said that he was the only one that she really knew? Raiden paused, regarding the remains of his muffin with a sceptical gaze. Surely... she was exaggerating.

"The only one?" He tilted his head as he shifted his gaze to her, one hand already reaching up to his neck to rub at it. "You should take more breaks then, Lina. Money is important, yeah... but what's the point in coming here if you don't get to make friends and stuff?"

Besides all that, you know, education stuff. While that was a pretty good reason to come here... well, spending your younger years working seemed a slight waste when the rest of your life after your school years was supposed to be dedicated to the same.

"It's good to be independent, though. I won't disagree with you on that."

But... well. She should have more friends than just him.

"I'm trying. This term especially, I'm trying." She shrugged, not looking at him. "I just never really thought about it before. But this term, when I went into the great hall for the slumber party, I was realizing that I didn't know anyone there. So, I wound up going and looking for you. I think you're the only one here that I haven't regarded as just a test subject. Then I was so relieved to see you in the hall. I don't know what I would or where I would have gone if I hadn't met you last term."

Hehe. She didn't think about him as a test subject. That was GOOD. He liked that. Now they'd just have to get her to not think of others like that, and all would be well. Surely that wouldn't be too hard. After all, he'd gone from just potential test subject to not-just potential test subject in a rather short time, hadn't he?

"Making friends with other students won't be that hard for you," he said, rather confidently, a small smile touching the corner of his lips. "You're a nice person. You just have to... not try to test things on them without their permission."

Hehehe. Not that they had to worry about that, since... she'd already made her promises to not, hadn't she.

"There are a lot of girls in your year, too. Some of them are really nice." And the rest he hadn't met yet. Not that he was particularly vexed by this. He... was pretty sure he didn't need more girls around himself.

"I promised I wouldn't!" She pouted. "Professor Dumont made me."

"I'm not used to being around people... strange as that is to say. I would make friends at the hospital sometimes, but it was just some kids that were there sometimes. If I was lucky, they would come into the play room while in recovery. But... I never really knew anyone for very long."

Sapphyre walked into the Kitchen, grasping the note that Kaytone had sent her. She looked around and spotted her, and, smiling, made her way to sit by her. So, transforming the nearly napkin into a softer tissue, she blew her nose and sat down.

Sapphyre turned to see the boy she had argued with before in the Courtyard walk in. Sighing, she turned away and looked at a house elf that had stopped in his work for a moment to stare up at her. But then, he turned back to his work, and Phyre sighed. Back to the issue at hand... Why was he here?

Don't tell me the bloody Magical Five are getting involved in this...

"Alright, Look. Before anything bad happens here. Phyre, this is Rex. Rex this is Phyre. We are going to work together. Got it. NO fighting and know bad feelings." Kay said. Rex hadn't seen this side of her and she hope he wouldn't be mad. Kay had to show a strong front for her friends that were spying for her. "Phyre, we are meeting to see if you can tell me anything else about Elizabeth, or if you have heard anything about want is happening around the school." Kay said Waving over a house elf. "Please get something for my friends to eat and drink please." Kay said looking back to Phyre. "Rex is here because I asked him. I feel we need to watch our backs and never be alone outside our dorms." Kay said watching the door and Professor Lawson. "Do you know were Nicoletta is? I was hoping that you would come together?"

"Rex saw the Gryffindor coming out of Kay. He liked it. " Yes Phyre and I met at a bad time for me and I want to really aplogize to her" Rex told Kay. Rex looked at Phyre " Very sorry about the last time we met but I know you are good at what Kay told me you are doing" Rex explained to Phyre. "Can you tell me what is going on so I can help?" Rex asked Kay. " Anything you need done, it will be done" Rex promised Kay. "Should I go look for Nicoletta?" rex asked the girls.

"Thank you for understanding Rex." Kay smiled and turned to Phyre. Kay smile faded and she thought about Nicoletta. "Let's give her a few minutes before we worry." She said. "Well to get right to it. This is about Elizabeth and what she's been up too. But I also what to talk about what is been going on around this school. To many people have been getting hurt and well I what to know what it is. I feel that with what I have gathered that the Headmaster know an is doing nothing to stop it. I also believe that who ever is doing it can get around Hogwarts without any one seeing him/her. Which makes me think of Violet and the cloak. Thats way we are meeting. I need to know if you have any information." Kay said watching both of them. "I also am worried that Nicoletta isn't here yet?"

"And I believe you" Marcus stated, taking the pot off the stove and tipping the vegetables back into the pie dish. "I'm just trying to figure out what you were doing leading up to your memory loss. It might help" he said as he walked over to Jake.

He watched Jake's progress for a moment and then shook his head, "Put a little muscle into it Jake. Pretend it's my head or something." Marcus sat down onto a stool and his lips twitched into a small smile. The pastry should be flattened out within seconds.

Though he didn't know why he was doing so, Jake shrugged his shoulders. He didn't know why Lawson was trying to find out so... so intensely. It was slightly alarming. The more insistent he got, the more frightening the situation seemed.

Looking up at Lawson, Jake blinked. Pretend it was his head? Why? Jake didn't routinely going around bopping annoying professors on the head, did he?

After a moment of seeming very confused, Jake looked back at the pastry and tried to roll it out again, putting some more strength behind it. "I'm ttttoo tired," he mumbled, finding it increasingly difficult. Nevertheless, he soon started to flatten out the pastry, with sloooooow process.

" Well, I can snoop around HogWarts" Rex told Kay. "We could ask J.J. Starr from Magical Education to help us out, too" Rex said to Kay. " I do not like anyone being hurt and I do not care by whom" Rex explained to Kay. " I think we can force the person or persons such as Violet and whomever to Jason's castle right before the championship Quidditch match and will run into certain people who can stop them forever" Rex smiled at Kay hoping she knew who she meant at this time. " Let's give Nicoletta a little more time" Rex told Kay.

Nicoletta entered the kitchen, slightly flustered. "Sorry I'm late, got a bit erm.... held up." she said to Kay. Ooh look! Rex is here. she wasn't sure why, but she found this particularly interesting.

"Maybe. Thats sounds like a plan in the works. Rex, will you talk to J.J. Starr and with with Jason. I want to make sure that the right people are at the castle." Kay said watching the kitchen. With the Professor still there she didn't want him to her them talking about this. "Phyre? Are you sure that Nicoletta was coming?" She was starting to worry. Kay had asked them to do something that she couldn't. Spy on the Slytherins in they own common room. "I don't think we can wait to much longer." She said just as the door to the kitchen opened.

"Thank god. I was getting worried. I thought maybe you had been hurt." Kay couldn't help herself for worrying. "Where have you been? Have some tea and something to eat, Then we'll talk." She wanted the time to make sure that Nicoletta was ok.

Nicoletta took a seat and sipped from a cup of tea, bouncing her leg up and down nevously. "Oh, ermm, hehe... just-just held up a little, got lost. I couldn't remember how to get down here." lame excuse, but it'd have to work. I mean, she hadn't done any thing bad just umm, strange.

Violet wandered into the kitchen and laughed. "Nicoletta, Sapphyre what are you doing with these people?" she said "Oh is this the stupid magical five thing?"

"It's alright," Phyre said, blushing slightly when Rex apologized. She didn't really mind, now that she had cooled off. "I was upset about previous incidents. And I don't know much about what's been happening... I've been burying my nose in studying... And I was out for a funeral as of recent."
