Emily saw a portrait of a pear outside where she thought the kitchen was. She was here because she wanted to talk to some house elves. Maybe have an orange, or chocolate. Yeah chocolate would be good. "Ugh, stupid pear painting, where is the kitchen?" Emily looked behind the portrait to see if there was anything there. As she was trying to look behind it her hand accidentally brushed a pear. I giggled and the portrait swung open revealing the kitchen. Emily looked at it, confused for a moment before stepping into the kitchen. A house elf greeted her and she chatted with him for a whilr befor grabbing a chocolate bar. Then she promised him she would be back and went to her common room, she was getting pretty sleepy.

Rhea was starting to feel rather peckish after her jog around the lake. She hadn't been in the kitchen since her third year or something and thought that was just a shame, so she detoured from her way to her common room to the kitchen.

She stopped on the corridor and scratched her forehead trying to remember where exactly the painting of the fruit bowl hung. Finally she spotted it and tickled the pear and entered the kitchen as the entrance appeared. Tentatively she entered the kitchen. Now she remembered why she hadn't been back. She was still a little spooked by House elves but figured this was a good time to get over that fear.

"Err...hullo there," she said to no one in particular.

Ehhh, Evelyn was still talking about it. 'Rethink? What exactly were you thinking anyway?' she asked as she looked for that stupid pear you have to tickle. Where the heck is it? She stopped her pear seach and looked at Evelyn with the mention of Iliana's creatures, 'Yes I know how many creatures she has. That's why I'm hoping he doesn't stay with her.' The knarls were kinda cute though. She did take care of them last term, and they seemed to get along just fine. But all her other creatures, they were scary. Those Abraxan were huge, and the Imps were just bad. Ehh, she did not want to think about them creatures going after them. That would be a lot of running.

Did Lawson even have a bed in his office? Destiny was never in a Professor's office, except for KaziMan, and she didn't see a bed in his. Shrugging her shoulders, she continued to search for that pear, 'Maybe he sleeps on a couch.' Ha, if Destiny didn't dislike him so much she might have felt bad for the old geezer Lawsguini. 'I have no idea. Don't you have house elves? Do yours sleep?' Destiny never even seen a house elf up close before attending Hogwarts, how was she supposed to know if they sleep?

Aha! Pear tickling time! She felt stupid tickling the picture, but it had to be done. Behind that pear was the answer she wanted. Destiny turned the doorknob and walked inside. Now to find Lawson..

"Well, I don't know. Maybe get him back this year for putting us into detention last year." The horrible, awful, disgusting detention that he put them in. Cleaning? Really? It was so unfair that the other two dweebs got to use magic to clean and they didn't. Shaking her head, she slowly followed Destiny to the kitchens with her arms crossed, counting the little specks on the floor while thinking of ways to get Lawsguini back. If only they knew what class he was teaching...

Smiling for a split moment at the mention of sleeping on the couch, Evelyn nodded when she was questioned on having a house elf. "Yes, I do. Two actually. Though, I never really asked or knew if they slept somewhere in our castle...house thing." And she was starting to feel guilty that she hadn't. "Usually whenever I call Bibby, he appears next to me at that second whether in the middle of the night or during lunch..." trailing off, she leaned against the wall, staring into space. What would Bibby be doing now at home? Cooking? Cleaning? Doing whatever Demetri told him to do within reason?

Hearing a familiar noise though, she turned her head and looked to wear Destiny was. Aw, she found the door. That's good. Sighing and rubbing her head, she slowly moved her feet towards the door and followed her friend in. Eh, house elves. They all looked the same, but at the same time different. It was confusing! And no sign of Lawsguini..."I'm guessing Lawsguini isn't working in the kitchens then."

Tickle the pear. Yes it was weird. But Atticus did it anyway. He hadn't been in the Kitchens before, and as the portrait swung open, he stood outside dumbstruck for a few moments before scrambling inside. This was so cool. There were house elves everywhere! Real house elves, not ones in his COMC book! It was amazing. And presumably under the house tables were some very long, almost identical tables. He stood for a few more moments just staring at the elves, wondering what they would say.

Then he realised how rude he was being.

"Oh, er. Sorry. But...urm. Hi. I'm Atticus Cornridge," he said to the nearest elf. Hopefully they could give him the info he needed.

Destiny snickered at the thought of their detention with Lawson. Considering it was a detention, it was a rather fun detention, especially when Evelyn had put paint on Lawson. 'And how are we going to get him back?' Whatever they would do would probably cause them to get another detention, but at least time it'll be worth it.

It must be nice to have house elves to do all the work. Destiny's eyes widened when Evelyn mentioned living in a castle-house thing. 'You live in a castle?' How come she never mentioned this before? It is probably better than her own house-house thing. Evelyn had more than one house elf too? Oh, Destiny will soo have to visit her house one day. 'Ehh, maybe they don't sleep. You would think they would get tired after a while.' Destiny gets tired just thinking about doing all that work.

Evelyn was right. There was no sign of Lawsguini in here. That was a disappointment. Destiny had really hoped he was here, bonding with the elves. That also meant he actually still taught a class. 'You're right. He's not here.' Unless he was on break or something..do house elves get breaks? 'What do we do now?'

Is that pie!?

"I haven't thought that far ahead yet." True, she only decided that she was going to do something and, that's as far as she got. "I'll just wait to think of something when I know what he teaches..." Which she was becoming slightly frustrated from not knowing! Pfft, everyone in the whole school probably knew what he was teaching, and they didn't have a clue. Ugh.

Did they live in a castle? Well it was big, and looked like a castle, so...maybe? Shrugging her shoulders, she walked around, looking at everything in the kitchen. Foods, drinks, silverware, plates and pans...It looked extremely messy and disorganized, but at the same time, clean and tidy. It was weird. "Yea, maybe." They could ask one of the house elves here, but she didn't want to. She only talked to Bibby, and that was it. Because he was the best of course.

"Hmm, I don't know." Smiling as she spotted a few pies in the back, Evelyn looked over to her friend to see if she noticed them and sure enough, she had. Which gave her an idea..."Hey, you know how Lupa gave us that cake in the first lesson? Maybe we should make her something. Since she seemed pretty angry and such when she came into the common room." Scary angry in fact. Like, don't mess with her or you'll die from her glare scary. "Plus, she didn't look all that happy at the feast. Maybe a cake made for her would cheer her up. Or cupcakes...or something." Lupa is their Head of House and the most awesome teacher at the school. She deserved to have something at least.

Cesar entered the Kitchen Level Corridor with Thalia by his side. He searched around for a portrait of a pear. "My dad told me about this pear portrait that you're supposed to rub or tickle or something. Im not sure if its true but if you find a pear picture, umm rub it, I guess."

"Uh, okay," she replied, looking for the pear portrait. She found it and tickled. Well this wasn't creepy at all. It probably looked strange too. Luckily Ethan had explained this process to her. He did raid the kitchen a lot. "Found it," she told him and the portrait swung open. "Come on," and she entered the huge room.

"oh nice." Cesar walked into the large kitchen and saw as many elves were scurrying about. He saw one that looked exactly like his house elf Veebs. [b]"Oh that elf looks live Veebs my House...." Cesar cut himself off, forgetting that he was about to reveal his secret. "Umm.. my house landlord. Uhh, the guy who owns the house. That's.... what.... he... looks... like." A feeble attempt to cover up his secret. Just then a house elf apporached them who was rather rude.

"What do you want?" said the elf.

"Umm I would like to have something sweet, like carrot cake or something and my girlfriend wants..... he turned to Thalia and asked. "Thalia? What do you want?"

"Cesar do you have a house elf?" she asked as he stuttered. She raised an eyebrow at him. Yeah, most purebloods did. It wouldn't exactly surprise her. Neither would it if Parker had a house elf. Multiple may she include. But since her family was big enough, her parents totally rejected the idea. Leaving them to do chores. So not fair.

Then she froze. Wait did he just say---. "Girlfriend?" Thalia questioned both eyebrows raised this time. Hopefully some sort of explanation would come with that. She turned to the house elf and said, "Treacle Tarts fine," she shrugged.

"uumm, house elf? HA!" he looked down sort of as if he was ashamed. "Yes, I have one, well 5." He stared at her to see what her reaction would be. "Girlfriend? yeah. That's what I said. You are my girlfriend right? You're a girl and your a friend." He looked at her blankly and puzzled. He's never had a friend much less a girlfriend so he never really knew exactly what the term meant.

Thalia just shook her head. "To be expected," she muttered. "Never mind. I don't have any personally but some of my other family members have some," she explained. Her grandfather did. Her uncle did. One of her cousins three times removed did.

"Just watch when you say that term," she told him with a half smile. She realized then he was completely clueless. "Some people would figure we're 'going out'," she air quoted. "If you say that term. Or in other words dating," Thalia just came right out with it so it wasn't some kind of puzzle. "So I'm a friend not a girlfriend right?" she asked him with a nod and emphasizing each word. This may be trickier than she thought.

Ohh, so that's what girlfriend and going out means. thought Cesar. "Ohh, okay. I didn't know that. thanks for telling me. haha. I would've walked around and had everyone thinking that every girl is my girlfriend. haha." He looked at her observingly and somewhat close to really look at her facial expression. Is she... nervous or something? he thought. "No, you're not my 'girlfriend' but you're my friend." He began to think of what it would be like to have a girlfriend. "To tell you the truth I know nothing about being a boyfriend, or dating, or flirting, or anything. I've never had a girlfriend."

ooc: I think I might change myself to third year cause its hard to RP as an 11 year old. lol

OOC: Ahh...I'll be sad if you do.

"Yeah, really," she smiled lightly at him. "And we wouldn't want absolute embarrassment for Cesar Helsing would we?" Thalia joked. Then he started to go on about being a boyfriend and whatever. "I don't have a boyfriend and don't want one," she told him truthfully. "They take up too much time of your thoughts and it's really not even fun. My brother's act likes weirdos when they're around girls. Trust me. Single is the good life," explained Thalia, remembering those days. "You don't realize this, but you do flirt. A lot," she giggled, then pecked him on the cheek. "And I'm okay with that," she added with a blush. This was officially the most freakiest moment of her life. Sure she didn't want a boyfriend but didn't mind the flirting.

'I'm sure you'll think of something.' Destiny said as she eyed up that pie. She could save it from someone who wanted to use it as another weapon. How hard would it be to mess with Lawson? All they really needed was paint, ha! It would have been easier if he id work in the kitchens, they could just bombard him with food orders, even if they didn't eat it.

Ooo, baking cakes. 'I know how to bake!' Yes! Another thing to keep her mind off them boy cooties. She would of course, wash her hands before she attempted anything. 'But what kind of cake, or cupcakes? There are all different kinds!' she said excitedly as she walked further into the kitchen. 'There's chocolate, vanilla, orrrr, we could make both!' Where would they put the cake mix? 'Can you bake? You could make one and I could make one.'

"I flirt? Really? How?" said Cesar flabberghasted. He smiled as she kissed him on the cheek.

The elf returned with the snacks and he grabbed both, handing Thalia hers. "Thanks" he said to the elf. "Erhh!" the elf replied.

"If I don't know any better id say you like me."

"Just the little things you do. Like the compliments and the wiping the dirt off my nose. Stuff like that," she said to him. She took the snack from him. Thalia bit into it. Almost choking when he said that she may like him. "Like you? Nice try," she smirked, and she could already feel her cheeks heating up. Control Thal. Stay calm, she thought to herself.

"oh yes, nice try indeed. Im right. And you know it. I can see your cheeks getting red. Haha. You like me." Cesar smiled so amussingly. He was not sure if he's ever been liked before but he knows now that she does now and he likes it.

"I don't like you," she protested, trying very hard not to crack with a giggle. "How do you know it's not this room that's making me hot?" she asked him. People in general assuming things like that made her frustrated. She was terrible at denying things like this.

"Well for one, we've been in here 15 minutes and you have yet to blush till now. And I noticed you blushing about three times at the pathway. Now im not sure but it wasn't too hot then. Not only that but you've blushed everytime I supposebly flirt. haha. You like me." He once aain smiled as he has all day. He ate his carrot cake within a few seconds. "Lets go back to the common room. Its getting late."

"I'm still not confessing," she told him, crossing her arms against her chest. "Those are your assumptions but I'm not going to give it away," Thalia shook her head. She had already finished the treacle tart. The girl had a big appetite. "Okay," she nodded in agreement. "Lead the way."

He leaned his forehead on hers and shook his head while staring into her eyes. "You just did confess hun." He laughed and stepped back to look at her and watch her reaction as he teased.

Thalia gasped at his actions. She probably turned redder by this. "Is this amusing to you?" she asked him as he stepped back. She gently hit him in the arm. "Cause I am not laughing," she added. Was he trying to torture her into embarrassment?
