Ivory grinned happily at Arya's reaction to her gift, glad her friend had liked it.

"OOps," she laughed sheepishly. "I probably should've told you what it was first and then you could've set it up in your dormitory.

"Oh, well...let's see..." Grabbing the mini playground she lifted it carefully, and although it weighed quite a bit it wasn't unbearable.

"Whoo its not like hippo-heavy!"

Carter stormed out into the entrance hall. Once he got there everything just hit him. Now he was glad the Mina had randomly left and he hadn't run into Ella. He turned to a wall and hit it. How could have he been such an idiot? He should have never forgave Marilyn for everything she did last year. He turned around and leaned against the wall. He sank all the way to the floor.

"Carter!" Rafe shouted as he burst through the Great Hall doors. Luckily, although not so lucky for Carter, he didn't go far. "If you've got anyone to be angry with, then be angry with me you git! You had no right to speak to Marilyn like that!" Rafe has his fists balled up, he was tempted to take his wand out, but didn't dare. "I understand that this is difficult to comprehend, but maybe if you didn't jump to conclusions..." Rafe sighed, he felt like this was a hopeless. "Hit me," he blurted out. "Clearly you have some frustration and I can see it in your eyes...but that frustration should have NOT been taken out on Marilyn."

"What is your problem? Seriously? I only told her what she already knows. And neither of you can deny it. You've been lying to me and you say that I'm the one at fault here? And I'm not going to hit you. In case you didn't hear me the first time. I'm. Done. Completely. So why don't you just back off. You won. Congratulations. Hope it was worth it. Because I don't want to see either of you again. Got it?" Carter said angrily. He then turned around and started up the steps.

Rafe went up past the Carter on the stairs and stopped in front of him, but not quite like "I'm-in-your-face" close. "No, I can't deny what Marilyn and I have, but that gives you no right to speak to her like that...I mean look at you going out with girls here and there... can you say you're completely guilt-free? I saw you with the Mina girl at the Three Broomsticks!"

Rafe definitely wasn't going to let Carter by. "I'm sorry this happened, I really am, but the first time Marilyn was trying to be honest with you, you snap at her! What's that about?!" Rafe said with a raised voice. "You know it takes two people two break up and you can't say Marilyn is completely. And don't give me that 'you win' crud cause in case you didn't know it was never a competition," Rafe didn't even know why he bothered. He mainly wanted to make things right with Marilyn and Carter. Even though Carter would probably despise Rafe for the rest of his life, that wasn't an excuse to break things with Marilyn completely.

"I don't know how many times you're going to make me say this, but there is absolutely nothing going on between me and anyone. I only have... had... eyes for Marilyn. I would never dream of anything otherwise. You can ask anyone of them. I was completely happy and talked about her all the time. And Marilyn has been honest with me before. At least she told me she was. But I guess I don't know what to believe anymore. And you know, it was the same thing she told me. But I was stupid enough to believe her. But I guess you're right. It's never really been a competition now, has it? So I don't know why you're still standing here rubbing it in my face. I don't care what you think or how much you yell at me, but you know I'm right. She knows I'm right. And I'm done. So just leave me alone." Carter shot back with a voice equally as loud. He pushed by him and continued up the stairs.

Cadence walked out into the Entrance Hall to get some fresh air. There were far too many people crammed into the Great Hall, and she just needed some space for a minute. Upon opening the doors, she immediately saw two boys yelling at each other, one of whom was Carter. Something about a girl. And she heard Mina's name. Uuugh drama. As bad as she felt for Carter, and as much as she wanted to help him, she didn't think it would be a good idea for tiny little her to try to break up an argument between two boys who were much bigger than herself. Instead, she just pretended not to hear and walked over to a bench and sat down, looking out at the snowy grounds.

Tyler walked with Kat to the Entrance Hall, with a huge smile on his face. No one was around to stop them from this little stunt. Tyler grabbed all his pillows and asked kat to bring all of hers as well. This was sure going to be fun. "Are you ready?" Ty asked her as they stood at the top of the stairs, looking down. Tyler then started patching her up in the pillows and wrapped rope around her so they wouldn't fall off. He then palced his skateboard helmet, elbow and knee pads on her.

"Okay, Kat. I hope your shoes are sturdy. I don't want you to break your little toes!" he said and wagged his finger. "Are you ready?! I said are you ready!?!?!"

Rafe was a little insulted by the shove, but he wasn't going to let Carter get away that easily as he grabbed Carter's arm."You may have had eyes for Marilyn, but that's doesn't mean your heart was longing for someone else," Rafe said. "I've seen the way Ella and Mina look at you...but, you're so blind Carter!"

Rafe was standing his ground. He wasn't going to let Carter off so easily, especially after the push. "I'm sure she told you we have a thing last year, Marilyn isn't one to hold anything back. I'm sorry that happened...and I'm sorry you think that anything had happened after... though I did kiss her the other night," Rafe slipped, "That's not the point... I'm not trying to rub it in or anything, it's just if you want someone to be angry at, don't be mad at Marilyn. I take full responsibility for the things that happened to you." Rafe's only thoughts were on Marilyn.

"I am sure right now, she is absolutely distraught right now, she never in a million years wanted to hurt you," Rafe took in a deep breath as he put his hands on each of Carter's shoulders, "If you had any ounce of feeling for her before this, then you wouldn't be acting like this. Believe it or not I'm sure she still cares for you on some level as I'm sure you do to. I know things can't be the same, but for Marilyn's sake, I hope you two will be able to make amends."

Kat had to sneak past Lucy to get to Tyler. If Lucy knew what Kat was doing she would probably kill her before she had the chance to 'kill herself' as Lucy would say.

"I'm ready!! Let's do this!!!!!!!" Kat said and jogged in place like a race track runner. Making sure the rope were secure she wobbled down the stairs and stood in position.

Shoes sturdy?? "Oh I hope they are cause I don't want to break my toes either."

"I'm READY!!!....I'M READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kat yelled in Tyler's face while hitting her helmet multiple times.

"You still don't get it do you? I don't want to hear about your stupid little romance behind my back. I don't want any of it. ANY of it. And who cares if I'm blind. At least I'm not a cheater or some guy causing a girl to cheat. And who cares if she didn't want to hurt me? Good for her for having a little conscious. As for any ounce of feelings that were there..." Carter said looking one last time at Marilyn. "they are long gone. And they aren't coming back." he said. He shook Rafe's hands off his shoulders and practically ran up the rest of the flight of stairs.

"Alright!" Ty said and smirked. For once, they were both doing something exciting and crazy. Ty rubbed his hands together and grinned, again. "Ok, rooooooooooooooooolll, Kat!" he said as he pushed her down the stairs. Hehe, Kat was now looking like a Giant rolling Marshmallow! But at the bottom of the stairs, Tyler noticed someone standing in the way. Uh oh.

It was Cadence.

"Candence!!! CADENCE! Get out the way!" he waved at her.

Cadence's reverie was broken as she heard someone yelling her name. Turning, she first saw Tyler standing on the stairs waving like a lunatic, and then she saw, what was that? A giant marshmallow! With a scream she jumped to the side, out of the marshmallow's path, landing awkwardly on her wrist which gave a loud pop. An intense pain shot through her wrist, hand, and arm. She curled up on the floor in a ball, clenching her arm below her wrist as if afraid her hand was going to completely fall off. As the pain set in, Cadence just began crying in pain.

Kat began stretching.... well tried to at least. She could hardly move being wrapped in a bunch of pillows. "Wooooooooohhhhhhh!!!!!!" She shouted and rubbed her hands together.

"WWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kat yelled as she began to roll down the stairs.

Bump Bump Bump Bump.........

There weren't that many stairs but after a few of them Kat began to feel the pain.

"OW....OW....OW....OW...."She reapeated. Waiting until she hit something at the bottom of the steps.

'So this is what bowling is like' Kat thought to her self as she rolled down the hall.

"TYLER!!!!!!!!!!! YOU NEVER TAUGHT ME HOW TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"She yelled out to him.

Carter turned around when he heard a crash. The anger began to leave when he recognized the girl on the floor crying. He hurried back down the stairs passing both Rafe and Marilyn. He probably looked completely crazy for being able to switch moods from angry to caring in a mere few seconds. But he didn't care. He didn't care at all about either of them anymore. They could think and talk about them all they wanted.

He kneeled on the floor next to Cadence. "Are you alright?" he said taking a look at her wrist.

Tyler beagn to laugh when Kat started rolling down the steps. Tehn she started saying 'ow'. Well of course it would eventually start to hurt since the pillows wouldn't be enough to cover the hard steps. Wait.

He never taught her how to stop.

"Oh man, Kat!" Ty called out and rushed down the steps, tracing behind the giant marshmallow that was his niece. Ty jumped out towards her, stopping her with his arms and almost hitting a suit of armor. "Okay, last tmie we do that," he chuckled and pulled her up. Tyler then heard crying from behind him and it must've been Cadence. Did she really need to jump out the way? Cadence could've just moved to the side. It was only pillows anyway.

"Looks like you might've broken your wrist," he said and looked at it since Carter was holding. "Hey Carter," he nodded and slightly smiled. But truely, Tyler wanted to laugh so badly. It was because he rolled Kat down the steps, not because Cadence broke her wrist. Okay, maybe a bit. But he's a guy. He didn't really care if someone got hurt. Apart from close friends and Lucy and Kat.

Carter looked up as someone talked to him. "Hey Tyler. And a giant... marshmallow? Is Kat in there?" he asked looking over at the big white thing. "It doesn't look too bad. The healer could fix it pretty quick. Which is amazing. I still can't get over it. It would have taken a muggle a few months to fix it. I should know, I've broken mine a few times."

Before she knew it, Cadence was being descended upon by boys. She looked up at Carter and Tyler, refusing to believe she was hurt because she had stupidly fallen. She simply shook her head at the two of them. "No, I'm fine. I want Nate. Do you know where he is?" she asked through her sobs, looking at the two of them. The only person she was willing to admit she was hurt to was Nate. Tyler would probably make fun of her, and Carter barely knew her. She just wanted her Nateypoo

"Umm... no. But we should get you up to the hospital wing. I can find Nate afterwards...?" Carter said. She really shouldn't be walking around with a broken wrist. That wasn't good.

Marilyn watched with wide eyes as Rafe and Carter shouted at each other. Carter was, of course, only believing what he wanted to. What was new? She done bad...and that's all he'd see. The fact that she had never meant to hurt him would go unnoticed as he maintained this facade of the perfect boyfriend who'd gotten wronged by his mean Slytherin girlfriend. How utterly pathetic. It made Marilyn want to vomit in his stupid face.

Did it matter that she couldn't face either Carter or Rafe for 6 months because of the confusion she felt? Did it matter in the least that her emotions had been pulled so many different ways lately that she didn't know up from down? And when she'd been faced with glossy pictures of every misstep she'd taken over the last year, did it matter that she cried for her mistreatment of this loving muggle boy who'd cared about her in such a way that she'd never reciprocate? Of course not. Carter was perfect, obviously and never made any mistakes. It was clear to Marilyn, though. It'd all been a huge mess to think a mere muggle could understand the complexity of her dramatic pureblood life.

Her need to cause him pain was dangerously high...And only increased as he simply brushed pass her. To help some stupid twit who'd been in the way, nonetheless. She blinked a few times, watching as Carter turned whatever anger was there from earlier off. Then without warning, Marilyn withdrew her wand and pointed it at Carter's back, mumbling "Furnunculus".

Perhaps painful boils would serve him right. Marilyn stormed away from Rafe...and pass Carter...towards the dungeons. She needed to get away before she seriously hurt someone.

Cadence looked solely at Carter now and just shook her head. She'd already been to the hospital wing once this year, and she didn't want to go back. And she didn't want to give something for Lucy to laugh about, though she probably already would. Tyler would tell her all about it, and they'd probably have a good laugh at her. It was so stupid! Nate and Cadence never EVER said a word about Tyler and Lucy. Ouch. Wrist. Ouch. She looked down on her swelling wrist and began to feel extremely sick to her stomach. Looking back up at Carter, a fresh batch of tears welling up in her eyes, "P-promise you'll f-find him?" She shivered slightly as she sat on the cold Entrance Hall floor, clutching her wrist, and looking around for something to vomit in should the need arise.

"You don't think I get the heartache and that pin that that seems to pierce the center of your heart when you see the woman you love with another guy? That's how I felt for like a whole year every day!" Rafe shouted. "I'm sorry for being selfish, but I love her and some things are just going to have to be accepted!" Rafe completely ignored the cheating part, he would always have that guilt, but he had so many other more pleasant emotions that overlooked that one at the moment. "Well, good riddance!" Rafe shouted as Carter bolted up the stairs.

Rafe saw Kat bump her ways down the stairs and laughed a little. He was about to help the girl with the broken wrist, but Carter seemed to have things under control. It was probably another girl in his "Carter's Chickadees" club. But, then there was a flash heading straight for Carter and he didn't look back as he chased the blonde who cast the spell.

"Yeah. Of course." Carter said. "But I should really get you up to the hospital wing first." he said beginning to stand up. Out of the corner of his eye he thought he saw a flash of light. And then he started feeling little pinpricks all over. These pinpricks then started to sting. Soon the stinging turned into throbbing. "Yeah... we should really get to the hospital wing." he said lifting up the arm of his robes. BOILS?!? Where did those come from?

Cadence was now actually considering going with Carter, and began to get up when he did. Before she had even gotten off the floor, though, she saw a spell hit Carter and saw boils popping up all over his skin. She instinctively recoiled, just staring at him wide-eyed. Who was the blonde girl and why was she shooting curses at him? Cady's eyes narrowed. No one cursed her friends and got away with it. Letting go of her broken wrist, she pulled out her wand with her good hand and pointed it at the girl's back. But before Cadence could utter so much as a word, the girl had disappeared and a boy had followed after her. Her hand gripped tightly around her wand in anger. She couldn't even attack him face to face! Blondie did it while his back was turned AND while he was distracted with helping Cadence. Probably a Slytherin.

Her wrist gave another jolting ache and she looked back up at Carter who was obviously in a miserable amount of pain, as well. "Yeah... we... we should go..." she said, making another attempt to get off the floor, but as soon as she moved, the urge to vomit rose inside of her again, and she just sat back down.

Kat was beginning to catch speed and then was suddenly stopped.

"Are you crazy!!!!" She yelled "We are soooo doing that again!!!" She chuckled

"Yup!!! It's me in here" She waved slightly. She turned back to Tyler and said "Can I take these off now?"
