Georgie shook her head, maybe she was an idiot, she must've be. She liked a guy she'd known for two weeks, and he was 3 years older than her...but what did she have to lose? She could give it a shot couldn't she? A few dates wouldn't break her heart, nor his.

She looked back at Delanie, "Your going to think I'm absolutely mental, but I've known him for two weeks, but we've been hanging out constantly. A few times in a group but a few times just one on one." she didn't blame Lanie at all for asking that, she would've had it been the reverse, but it wasn't and now she was confusedd! But talking to Delanie was definitely helping.

Georgie nodded her head, "I know what you mean, and I am being careful. I know it seems I'm rushing into it, but it doesn't feel like that to me..." she didn't even know how to explain it so that it made sense. "You know how there is a time when you meet a specific person and after a few moments you feel like you've known them for years? Like there is a small connection? That's how I feel with Barry."

Jude led Thalia by the hand all the way to the second floor where the suits of armor stood. He had run into one particularly feisty second year and her boyfriend and never realized that he would come back to the place so soon.

"So shall we continue with our twenty questions game?" he asked with a cheery grin to the shorter girl. His heart leapt as their eyes met.

Thalia had passed the suit of armor plenty of times. It just never had seemed like a place worth visiting until now. Her hair was slightly wet and her clothes damp from the rain.

"I suppose we shall. How about you ask the question first?" she replied, looking up to meet his eyes. The castle wasn't exactly busy. Outside the sky was dimming as the sun sank behind the trees.

Delanie's eyes grew wide. Two weeks?! Was Georgie insane?! Dee couldn't even hide her shock. "You're mental," Delanie said bluntly.
The more Georgie spoke, the more Delanie thought of the worst. "Actually, no, I don't know what you mean because I've never experienced that with a guy. How can you feel a connection with someone you hardly know?!"
Dee simply couldn't believe it. She had to stick her hands in her pockets to keep from shaking Georgie. The girl had lost her mind!

"Well, if you had an Animagus, what animal shape would you like to be?" Jude asked always interested in what animal traits humans believed they resembled in day to day life.

He stopped just by a stained glass window that had a stone-like niche that would act like a perfect bench. Jude walked over to it and patted the space next to him motioning for Thalia to sit down as well.

She thought about that. "I'd say some kind of annoying bird," she admitted with a smile. Birds were noisy. She could talk on forever. Sometimes people just wanted to tell her to shut up. "Maybe a parrot," she figured. "How about you?" Thalia hadn't come across anyone who was professional enough to turn into an animagus.

She walked over and sat down next to him, leaning her head on his shoulder. The day was coming to an end.

Jude scrunched his nose at the thought of Thalia being a bird. He was always terrified of the creatures for some reason. They just were really scary.

But it did kind of make sense that she would be an exotic type of bird since she liked to wear bright colors and all.

"I think I would like to be a leopard or maybe a panther." he replied with a nod always thinking that jungle cats were appealing. The thought that a little parrot and a giant cat that would usually eat the bird as pray acting so kindly towards one another seemed rather silly in his mind.

"That would be a sight to see." Jude added with a wink.

"Uhm...what is your favorite holiday?"

Georgie let her head bang slightly against the wall behind her and she groaned, "I know!" she replied, she was mental. Postively insane. And she could tell Lanie didn't understand what she meant, hell, neither did Georgiana.

Georgiana shrugged her shoulders, "That's the thing, I have no idea. But I feel like I do and I know I'm mental for it..." maybe if Lanie met Barry she'd see how a great guy he was...maybe then Delanie could see.

"You should meet him Lanie..." she muttered, Delanie was a close friend, and she valued her opinion.

"Do you not like birds?" she smirked at the thought of him not liking birds. She herself didn't really like them. Though they had owned one at some point of her life. Didn't it get eaten by a stray cat?

Her mouth dropped open. "So you would eat me?" she gasped jokingly. Then giggled. She knew the way animals acted toward one another. Especially big cats and little birds.

Thalia's favorite holiday? "I don't really have one. I guess my birthday. I don't really find painting Easter eggs or decorating Christmas trees fun. But I still participate. Then there's Valentines which shouldn't even be a holiday," she went on. All the pink sort of disgusted her. At least for her birthday nothing seemed too different. "How about your favorite holiday?" she wondered.

"They frighten me actually." Jude admitted, feeling his face heat up just so.

"I wouldn't eat you Thalia. I'd probably get a few looks from the other jungle cats if you were riding on my shoulder or something." he said with a large laugh before leaning forward to kiss her on the nose playfully.

"My favorite holiday would have to be St. Patrick's Day." Jude admitted witha big nod.

"My mum's originally Irish, so there was a big influence growing up. And I just love all the tomfoolery we get away with on that day."

Delanie let her uneasiness show clearly on her face. "I dunno, Georgie. I'm not sure I want to meet him..." Unless he has a younger brother for me! Delanie thought. She didn't want to meet this Barry guy; she thought it would be, well, awkward!

"Birds scare you?" she giggled looking at him and seeing him blush. "I've never met someone who's frightened of birds. But don't worry, I find it cute," Thalia told him, wrapping her arms around him.

She smiled again as he kissed her nose. "Yes and I'm sure my bird friends would be asking questions too," Thal added. That was a funny thought. She and her bird friends communicating by tweets.

"That's interesting. I'll look forward to St. Patrick's Day," she nodded. She couldn't possibly think of what he meant. Well maybe she sort of could.

"Well then, on a scale 1-10 how annoying do you think I could be?" she asked, eying him.

Jude grinned gently as Thalia hugged him despite the fact that he had a silly phobia.

"Ah well just tell them that you wanted a big strong masculine jungle cat to protect you instead of the flimsy little birds." Jude replied with a chuckle.

"Yeah, it'll be loads of fun. I've got lots of green stuff that I'm sure we can find for you to wear." he added rather excitedly.

"If one is the least annoying, I would definitely say that you are a zero because I don't find you annoying in the least bit." his lips finding hers for a brief moment.

"Alright, I'll tell them," she agreed with a nod and a grin. It was funny how conversations could get so random. She had always noticed they could turn on her.

"Cool. I don't own that much green," replied Thalia. It was one of those colors that she substituted with a sea green or turquoise.

"Your just being nice," she whispered before her lips meeting his again. Somehow the kissing thing never got old to her. She pulled away and said, "You get to ask the next question." Cause right now she couldn't think straight.

"Brilliant." Jude replied with a cheery grin.

"Well maybe if we ever get a chance to go into Hogsmeade we can pick you up something pretty to wear." he added.

"I am not just being nice Thalia." he said with absolute sincerity in his voice. "If anything, I should be asking you that question because of the fact that I just gawked at you like a loon the first time we met."

"Are you right or left handed?" he asked, thinking of a rather random question.

"Sounds like a plan," Thalia agreed with his comment. She hadn't been to Hogsmeade since...well...their last visit. The one where she had met Jake and that second year and kissed Jake on the cheek. That had been a funny day for sure.

"I'm used to the gawking. I thought it was funny. And rather creepy at first," she added with a raised eyebrow. "But once I realized how humorous you were and sweet. I got used to it," she explained honestly. She did get stares from a lot of boys. It was all good though. Her normal reaction was to totally ignore it.

"I am a lefty. Besides writing though, I do most things with my right," she figured. Her teacher told her to pick a hand when she was little and the left was it. "How about you? You're a righty let me guess," came her assumption.

"Excellent. I'll find out from my friend James when the next trip is." Jude said in a rather excited tone. "Perhaps we can go on a date there as well?" he had a hopeful look in his eye.

"You thought I was creepy?!" Jude exclaimed in a mock pout as he crossed his arms. "Awh, well I'm not that funny."

"I'm actually a lefty myself." Jude replied with a small grin. "I'm the only one in my immediate family so I learned how to hold scissors and use silverware with my right hand but when it came to writing and tying shoes I basically had to do the opposite of what my father did so I wouldn't screw up."

"Our first 'official' date so yes. Definitely," she smiled, air quoting the official. Cause it was true. They hadn't been on a true date and she was excited. She would need to think of something to wear first of course. She never though like this!

A chuckled escaped her lips and his pout. "Every guy I meet who flirts with me at first is creepy. I never really thought about a boyfriend until you asked me out. Actually I had," Thalia corrected herself. There was Cesar. Again. She just wanted to erase him from her mind for once. "If I flirt back then you know I care." Which she had done with him. Flirted back. "You're funnier than most boy's I know," she disagreed with his statement. "I swear," she grinned with a twinkle in her eye.

"Your story with being left handed is so much more exciting than mine. I was told pick your right or left by a teacher and I picked left. Ta da!" she exclaimed with small jazz hands.

It was her turn to ask the question now. "When have you been your angriest?" she asked him curiously. It was hard to believe he could get angry.

When Thalia used the word official Jude felt his palms become a little sweaty because it seemed to hit him all of a sudden that he would have to make it the best date that the girl had ever been on. 'Has she been on many?' he wondered to himself.

Jude listened intently as she explained her reasonings and then caught something. "I'm funnier than most boy's?" he asked with an arch of his brow. "Is that to say that I have competition?"

"Aw, but your story's cuter." Jude countered with a wink.

His face fell when Thalia asked when he had been at his angriest. "Probably when I found out that my father was going to remarry six months after my mother passed." he said quietly not liking to touch upon the subject.

Umm...awkward minute. Yes, she knew other boy's who amused her. "I guess you could say you have some competition," came her slight reply. She wasn't dating any of those other boy's though. She was dating the one right in front of her. "I can be amused easily," Thalia added, feeling her face turn red. Maybe that wasn't the best thing to say. Her flaws were going to show sooner or later.

Cuter? "No, my story was lame. Thanks for the sympathy," she grinned.

"That would make me angry too." She could never understand other people's lives that way. The way they thought the way they did. Even though she had a tendency to try.

"Thalia I'm not sure how I feel about that. You mean, is there someone else trying to pursue you at the moment? Am I just wasting my time?" Jude's voice got a little gruffer as he tried to contain all his emotions.

"You're welcome." he said quietly, still a bit distraught by her response.

There was someone after her. She didn't really want him though. "Yes," she admitted. "Yes, someone still thinks I'll go after him. But I don't want to Jude. You have to understand that," she said a bit distraught. She stood up and stood in front of him. "I don't like him. As a friend maybe. He may---," she paused to think as she started to walk back and forth. Thalia stopped. "Hurt me. Emotionally. He's a player," she turned to face Jude. "He thinks it's all about him and he can have every girl who interests him. But not me," she finished her little explanation.

She stood in silence a minute, staring out at the setting sun before looking and him and saying what her heart felt. Right now that was important. "I want you," she whispered, her voice echoing down the hall. She hoped he could see that her eyes meant it. Every being of her meant it.

Jude listened to her explanation, his emotions building up inside of him ready to explode on her. But then Thalia looked at him with such a want it was hard to ignore.

Standing up he wrapped his arms around her in silence stopping himself from shouting at her because he couldn't bear the thought of making her cry. It just wasn't in him to make a girl cry.

"Thalia I trust you I do." Jude finally said looking down at the girl. "It's this other lad I don't trust as much and I don't want him manipulating your mind into thinking he's better than me in any way. That's why I'm most upset." he explained.

"I don't want to lose you." he said quietly touching her cheek with the palm of his hand.

Thalia leaned against him as he wrapped his arms around her. She knew what to say but didn't know if she wanted to say it. These were moments when her emotions built up, threatening to have her cry. She didn't know how to explain them either. Maybe it was part of being a teenage girl.

"It don't trust Cesar either," she finally whispered. "And I don't want him manipulating my mind," she told him honestly. She didn't want to be used as if some toy. "He isn't better than you. His arrogance gets in the way," Thal remembered. "But just, trust is the big factor here and I don't trust him the way I can trust you." If she had to decide what was the hardest thing a person had to do it would be trust. Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone's lying or not.

She looked up at him as he put his hand on her cheek. She put hers around his neck and brought his head down so their noses touched. "I don't want to lose you either," Thalia muttered from her lack of thought. Him being so close was enough to intoxicate her.

Jude grinned gently, kissing Thalia on the lips before twirling her around with his arms protectively around her.

"Then I can put this all behind us. Just know this, if I see him doing anything that looks suspicious around you, there will be trouble between us." he said in a darker tone not wanting anything to come between him and Thalia.

He noticed that the sun had since set and they should be getting back to their dorms.

"I walk you to your dormitory Thal. It's getting late, wouldn't want to get you in trouble."
