The castle houses several suits of armor but, this one seems to be a particularly popular place for meetings between friends.

Neptune wiggled her fingers up at his face, then took off running again. The heels of her shoes clopped loudly on the stone floor as she took off and rounded the corner.

"I didn't mean it like th-" Running again? Really? Raiden SIGHED, shoulders slumping. Why was he even following her? He could... slip off to his common room, if he wanted to. She wouldn't know where it was, and it was close enough that he could make it there maybe even before she realised he was gone...

But no. NO. He'd feel bad, and she'd get lost, and then when she found him again, she'd pout and he'd feel even worse...

So he followed.

It was easy enough to keep up with her. He had longer legs, after all, so it took him less steps than it took her to get places... he managed to catch up and get her elbow in his hand, which... yeah. No more running, Neptune.

"We're not supposed to run around inside Neptune. You could get hurt." Plus they'd run up stairs and that was tiring. He looked around, the familiarity of the room slowly dawning on him. The suits were all shiny, unmoving from their spots.

Hadn't someone died here last term?

Neptune spun right into his chest when he grabbed her arm, gracefully wrapped one back around him too. "Are you reprimanding me again? You wear that badge SO well, Raiden. I want to see you get on to OTHER people." Neptune gave him the BIG EYES as her chin found his chest. Then started the giggles, naturally.

"You have to take me to my Common Room, actually. I surely do not know the way." Oh damsel in distress!

...well he hadn't meant to end up like that. The urge to squirm and pull away wasn't as bad as it should have been, because... well he'd been adjusting to this, hadn't he; instead, Raiden looked down at her and frowned slightly before... she was giggling and that kinda made him laugh a little bit too.

"I try not to tell people what to do. It... well it doesn't feel very nice. Only when they're really doing things they shouldn't, you know?" Like... breaking rules and stuff. Even then, he felt awkward trying to tell them to stop doing what they were doing. "Your common room? I've never been in there, but I know where it is, I think."

He'd been here long enough and had enough Ravenclaw friends that it was easy enough to figure out which door it was. He never knew the password to get in, and had never wanted to or been bothered to, but... surely he'd be able to take her there and pawn her off on one of her own so she could get in, right? He pointed down the hall, toward the stairs.

"It's all the way up. Towers, you know."

"If you don't tell people what to DO, then how will they KNOW what you want?" ??? Neptune told people what to do ALL the time and was so rarely left unsatisfied. She poked at his badge once more, then let him go abruptly to pull away. She STARTED to run away... but after a sneaky glance over her shoulder, stopped and only walked with an exaggerated sort of SWAY.

Step. HIP. Step. HIP. Step. HIP.

"I find a TOWER for me to be most appropriate. Like a true princess." And you rest assured, Neptune Bott was PRINCESS material. "Don't you?" DONNTT YOUUUU RAIDEN? GIGGLE!

"I tell people what I'd like them to do..." he trailed off. He didn't even do that most times, but he wasn't about to tell her that. She'd probably figured it out for herself anyway.

She was running again, and he was about to call out for her to stop when she... oh good, stopped herself. Good Neptune, not making him tell her to do things.

She was walking funny, though. Huh. Raiden rubbed his neck and hurried to catch up with her.

"Aren't all the faerie tale princesses trapped in the towers against their wills, though?" He was fairly sure that was the case. Either they were cold, heartless horrible people, or they were sweet, lovable people that were stuck in towers. "They get locked in there and a prince comes to save them."

...oh. She was going to pout, wait.

"I'm sure being a real princess is probably loooooooads better than a faerietale princess, though."

"Nonsense!" Neptune shrilled at him with no skimping on the HAND waving at his ludicrous ideas. "It'd be WONDERFUL to be rescued. Well worth spending some time alone trapped in a tower. Don't you know this?" Once more, Neptune was left with the horrible acidic feeling in her tummy that maybe Raiden wasn't as smart as her.

But who was, really?

So with a flick of her wrist, she dismissed the WHOLE idea and skipped up the hall. He hadn't said anything about skipping, and if he had a problem with it, he should have stated so up front. Neptune was accustomed to the no running rule, fine. "Raiden. Do tell me. What is there to DO around here?" There HAD to be a bit more to do, with all the PEOPLE about, then there was at her own home. Home was so BORING.

"But you'd be alone." He felt compelled to point that out, as if it weren't obvious. "What if the prince took a long time, or got lost, or died? What if no princes knew you were trapped up there?"

Even worse, what if she didn't like the one that came to save her?

But Neptune didn't seem to care for the topic anymore, and instead took off skipping down the hall. Leaving Raiden to hurry after her, yet again. Guh.

"Uhm... well you can take walks on the grounds... swimming in the lake is always fun. Plenty of books in the library." What else was there to do? "I think Mr. Masterson put in a jungle gym this year, that might be fun. Last year there was a...what did they call it, a Maize Maze? Besides that, mostly people just hang around with their friends. They usually manage to come up with fun things to do."

...yeah. Raiden read a lot.

"Wait," Neptune skidded to a halt so abruptly that she almost went face first onto the stone floor. Her curls even defied gravity in the quick halt. She turned around slowly, the look of horror on her face no small thing.

"You swim in a lake? With FISH?" Oh. My. Stars.

Oh wait. Neptune. He'd almost forgotten. Stopping about a foot away from her, Raiden gave her a bemused look. Didn't quite counter her look of horror, but... eh.

"It's not really bad at all you know. The lake's really nice during the warmer months. And the fish and stuff don't come near you, really. Well if you go too far out the grindylows could get hold of you, but..." That probably didn't help.

Neptune held up both her hands to keep him at bay. Raiden Kur... had he changed his last name yet like she'd requested? Hmm. One catastrophe at a time though.

"Fish do not use a toilet. They don't get out of the water, do their business, then jump back in."

Did Raiden know this?

Did he know he was talking so casually about cohabiting with fish excrement?

She took a few slow steps backwards from him, her face reading something like the fish poo might jump right off his skin and onto her.

"I'm aware," he said, confused. "I've never really swam around in the lake, but I'm aware of the habits of fish. People shower afterwards, you know..."

Or use cleaning spells. Which is what he did after sticking his feet in the water. It wasn't like it was dirty or anything, but... well it was water that was habitually outside. There was bound to be germs and stuff in it, especially since other students swam in it a lot.

"You've never gone swimming in a lake before, have you."

Was it possible for such an ickle and cutesy face to contort to show MORE horror?? Merlin knows Neptune Bott TRIED to look more horrified by his question. Had SHE been inside a fish and MERPEOPLE cesspool?

Ummm NOOOOOOOOOoo. Um NO definitely NOT! What a RIDICULOUS... question...

Neptune's hands found her hips and she gave him a LOOK after the horror waves passed. "We should speak to someone about this later." That's what her mother always said anyway. But for now, Neptune was going to just stand there and stare at Raiden Whatshislastname. He owed her a HUG. At least for being the cause of all this ill chatter.

Confused.

"About what, students swimming in the lake?" The fish poo? It wasn't like they could just... remove all the fish and stuff. "We can't take the fish out, the Giant Squid wouldn't have anything to eat."

And then he'd eat students? Probably.

Why was she looking at him like that. He hadn't done anything.

"You don't have to go in the lake, Neptune. 's not required or anything. It's just... an option. I like sitting out there near it, but I don't go in often. I haven't gone swimming in... like three years."

He gave her a pat on the shoulder as he started past her, down the hall, toward the stairs. They were meant to be going to her common room, right? And that was still a bunch of floors up... they had a way to go yet.

"About sanitation! About our rights as students to access to CLEAN facilities! Swimming is very good exercise and I happen to have brought my NEW bathing suit!" Neptune STOMPED both feet in succession in what one might call a bit of a tantrum... then she stomped after him. She wasn't really mad or all that bothered really - but Neptune will be Neptune.

Getting over that just as quick as it started, she snatched his pinky finger. Neptune swung it in a WIDE arc as they walked. Her butterfly bracelet JINGLED and JANGLED with each SWING. Neptune GIGGLED and rubbed her nose on the outside of Raiden's arm -- then the swinging started again.

GIGGGGGGGLINGGGGG.

Alexa stopped as when she reached the Suits of Armor, she loved to gawk at them and hang out. For some reason it was very relaxing to her. She hummed a bit louder and plopped down in the floor, taking her bag off of her shoulder.

After a few moments of digging she produced a quill, ink, and parchment and began to doodle. She wasn't waiting for anyone... just having some fun, relaxing.

Jude Harrison was walking down the hallway past the suits of armor when he noticed a girl, a few years younger than himself just plopped amongst the shiny decorations and what appeared to be doodling.

He goggled at the girl wondering what gave her the idea to just sit there and draw. Why not actually sit in a more comfortable location or at a table in the library?

Jude smirked at the younger girl and the fact that she just seemed to want to start a fight with him over the fact that he was feeling a bit curious that day.

And when she flipped her hair over her shoulder, he couldn't hold in the laughter that was boiling up inside of him.

"Haha, well I don't believe I'm the only one with the attitude Little Miss." Jude noted giving the younger girl a nickname in place of her proper name which he didn't know since he had never met her before. "No need to get defensive with me and whatnot."

Lorcan walked around the corner and heard Lexi's voice. She didn't exactly sound friendly. Wondering if she was even speaking to him after Transfiguration, he lengthened his stride.

He saw her flip her hair at some kid who was taller than either of them and must have been a fourth year at least.

"Lexi, what's going on?" He asked warily.

Jude's head turned at the sound of a masculine voice. He saw a boy, shorter than himself approaching the girl, who apparently was called Lexi, were the two dating or something or just good friends?

Jude straightened up slightly and tried to look less haughty towards the girl so that the boy didn't expect any foul play and whatnot.
