Kate, having managed to actually get some sleep after the earplug fight, slowly came out of her slumber. I really don't want to get up yet...it's so warm and comfy... She thought to herself as she kept her eyes closed. "Hmm." A sigh escaped her lips as she realized that this may be the last peaceful sleep she'll get for a while, what with sleeping in a populated dorm room and all.
Just then, whatever she was resting against shifted. Opening her eyes a tiny bit, she realized that she was sleeping on Kellen's shoulder.
Kellen continued waking up slowly, until eventually his shoulder let him know that someone was leaning against it. He glanced down, saw the brown hair, and groaned: Chaucer. It only made sense, Chaucer had been sitting beside him before, and it wouldn't be the first time one of them had used the other for a pillow.
"Get off, Chaucer," he muttered, not in the mood to be eloquent at the moment. "You're heavy."

In front of Allison stood a short skinny girl, much like Allison herself. With short black hair and beautiful green eyes--Allison kept on looking. Suddenly the girl gave a display of her two dimples. Frowning Allison inwardly sighed, she only had one dimple, and it was sooo small it was often missed.
Putting on a smile Allison reached over to shake the girl's hand, "Hallo. I'm Allison. First year, and hopeful housemate to all these fellas!"
Looking around Allison noticed there wasn't much space left in the compartment and shook her head. One more person and SHE'D become claustrophobic.
"I hope you can manage there seems to be little space, but I think we'll fit." Retaking her seat Allison turned to pet Tegan.
And then, the last person arrived. The one to make the compartment explode. Well it was Allison's fault after all, she had tried her hand at being social and she had succeeded.
Laughing at herself Allison spoke, "And this is the girl I mentioned. Gwen! Welcome to what I know call Chaos...the black whole. Where you come in and it is difficult to go anywhere else."
Scooting over and all but squishing Anastasia to the compartment window, Allison patted the small space next to her. "You can come and sit, lucky for you I'm super skinny."
Allison was young and appearance still didn't really matter to her. The only thing that had ever really bothered her was how UNDERweight she was. Most people made fun of her--especially the entire Scott family, and often murmured things about her. Thus, Allison always tried to make light of her weight. Oh she ate, and sometimes to her mother's dismay too much. However her metabolism was so fast that her aunt had once jinxed her so that she wouldn't be blown away by the wind. Not that she would have been blown, but the family was like that. Inconsiderate and liked to make things worse than they were.

She opened her trunk and pulled out her brand new Hogwarts robes.
Its lucky I have money. I don't think second hand robes would be that appealing she thought as she slowly put on her robes.
She closed her trunk back up, and opened the compartment door wondering if she would be able to find this compartment.
To her amazement, the corridor was completely empty, and she could hear something going on in a nearby compartment. Gwen wandered down, thinking of The Wizard of Oz... Follow the yellow brick road. But in her case, follow the carrying noise.
Finally, she came across a compartment that seemed to be bursting at the seams.
I hope I'll fit in there... she thought as she opened the door, and the noise consumed her.
"Um, Hi," she said, trying to not disturb the many conversations going on. "I'm Gwen, Allison invited me to stop by," she said, hoping for approval from Allison's friends.
As soon as she walked in, another girl introduced herself.
"Hey Gwen, I'm Arya. And this little guy is Perseus."
"Oh hello!" said Gwen smiling to herself. "I love cats. Yours is adorable! I have one at home. Her name is Pita. I might bring her along to Hogwarts next year!"
"Thanks! Actually he's a kneazle, but I love cats too. What pet did you bring this year?" Arya looked into the girls green eyes waiting for a response.

Gwen glanced around once more. Noting how many people were in there, she decided to address the whole compartment.
"So, what house are you all hoping for, " she asked.

"The problem with juggling together is that I would never be able to tell if you hit me with a ball on accident... or on purpose!" he said with a laugh. He continued to laugh as she talked about dancing under the LEaning Tower. "Living life on the edge are we?" he asked, shaking his head so that his dark locks flew away from his face.
He laughed at the thought of the meeting. "Its nothing special, really," he attempted to assure her. "Basically, I was walking along with a map of my school practically glued to my nose. Next thing I know, I barged into something quiet solid. At this time, my best friend was quite a bit taller than me... but I caught up to him," he added with a wink. "Anyway, we were both knocked to the floor and looked up to discover we had both been doing the same thing, and looking for the same place. So, putting our heads together we found where we were supposed to go," he finished with a laugh. "It wasn't until later that we both confessed to the hope that the other person we ran into was a girl!" That coincidence had sealed their friendship from the beginning. He was just sad to have left him and so many other friends behind. "He was actually the one that juggled while asking a girl out," he said, connecting the two for Alex.
"Oh my, Alex! When did you get so tall? I can barely see you from down here... its hurting my neck!" he said with a laugh. He could actually just pick this girl up. She was at least a head shorter than him, and he could have easily just placed her on his shoulder... or put her in a pocket. "What was that laugh?" he asked, making a face as she giggled. "For some reason, I'm slightly worried..."
"WHAT!?" he exclaimed. "Come now, you're taking all the fun out of it!" he said with a slight pout. "That was Totally on my list of things to do... I wouldn't do it with other people, and I would cast spells to make sure I wouldn't catch on fire!" he assured her. He grinned at the thought of panicked nurses. He and his best friends had done things similar- so it was a fresh image in his mind. In fact, when his best friend would even walk into the infirmary, the head nurse would cringe.
Chris was clutching his stomach from laughing so hard. He couldn't even respond to a finger being connected to a heart. He placed his hand on the wall of the corridor and attempted to take deep breaths between fits of laughter. "I figure... it would rather be... with someone that... appreciated it!" he said, between laughs.
He finally recovered and took a deep breath to try and calm himself. "Well, that's good... now we just have to find where those round rascals went!"
For a moment, as Chris shook his head. Alex found herself slightly entranced by this good looking, older, American, Gryffindor. There was something about him that seemed so carefree, and happy. And his happiness was infectious. She felt so.. different around him, and yet herself. It was a weird feeling, but a good one.
Alex shook herself out of her thoughts and smiled widely up at Chris. "Exactly! It sounds fun, we should totally do it!" She said with a smile. "And that is the point, we can both be horrible jugglers, and the other wouldn't know if they were hitting themselves or getting hit. Sounds perfect to me!" She laughed more as he spoke again. "Of course! Only way to live your young life." She had what? A few years until she became a trophy wife.. she better make the best of it really.
Alex smiled and listened quietly as Chris spoke. She laughed in a few places, for really the story was pretty funny. Running into each other, while looking at a map? Pretty ironic! "Wow, that does sound like a great encounter! And I am sorry that you didn't get to meet a girl, but you are meeting one now! I hope I can make up for your former losses!" She said grinning as she flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder. Yes, the hair flip was for effect. So sue her.
"Oh no Chris! I need to get my glasses, for you are fading away from my sight!! Chris!" She giggled more as he spoke. Really this man way tall. But in a good way. He was about as tall as her older brother Geoffy. She smiled impishly up at him as he spoke. "You have no need to fear me, oh handsome American! I was just thinking, that you could pick me up and put me in your pocket. That was all." She said with a smile and a wink. That wouldn't be so bad actually.
Alex put her hands on her hips, her stance like that of a angry or concerned mother scolding her child. "No! That is way to dangerous!" She protested a bit to strongly. She was playing.. sorta. "How about, if I am there, and have a bucket of water, just in case? That would be safer huh?"She said with a smile. Although she might have a small heart attack watching, she would make sure he was safe!
Alex started giggling hard as Chris did. And his words made her almost double over in laughter. "I.. thought.. you would.. be the one to appreciate it!" She managed to get out, "After all, it goes so nicely on your hand!" She laughed more. Tears were coming from her eyes, she was laughing so hard.
She managed to pull herself together, and she grinned as she pulled out her wand. "Accio Balls!" She called, and suddenly three balls zoomed toward her, and landed neatly in her outstretched hand. So convenient. "The little rascals, have been found!" She said with a grin, as she put her hand out towards Chris.
At this point of the trip, Chaucer was having a dream: He was a famous singer and everyone in the entire world wanted him to perform at their music halls. Magazines were spawned in his honor, some entirely dedicated even to the smallest wrinkle in his clothes and the implications of said wrinkle. He was a veritable god! Cotton candy rained from the heavens (it always missed Chaucer's hair) and every convenience store was made of a different kind of gourmet chocolate. Black Whimsy was there as well, though in the dream he had bright pink tail feathers and spoke with a Spanish accent.
Chaucer had just got on stage and began to sing his best song -"Hedwig had a little Bat" - when the crowd became Bertie Bott jellybeans, demanding to be eaten each in turn. With a scream, the popstar ran to an exit, but was blocked off by a mime that kept saying actions instead of actually doing any. Whimsy came from the right and lifted Chaucer to safety, taking him Valhalla where the gods and immortals gave him a chalice of butter beer. He drank it all down and declared "I am now one of you!"
Odin, the king, looked down upon him and with a strangely juvenile voice said "Get off, Chaucer. You're heavy."
Chaucer plummetted from the clouds, waking up seconds before he hit the ground. In his conscious state, he knew that the voice belonged to Kellen. He bunched up his jacket and flung it at his serene face - "You bloody killjoy.".

Cedric glanced at Vida with enthusiasm and glee. She's just so amazing to watch and he could not get his eyes away from her so lovely face. He smiled as Vida hold his hand again, her hand is quite soft and warm, Cedric bound his benign fingers to her hand.
She seemed so happy with him; he was glad that Vida was having a great quality time with him. "Ah.. sure.. well, my family isn't that big. I'm an only child, my parents are businessmen. How about you?" Cedric answered and then asked her. There's a lot of things he should say to Vida about his family but if he say his parents are business tycoons and they are so very rich, He'd think it would be like he was boasting and being ostentatious of how rich his family is.
She looked down at their hands, smiling happily as gently playing with his long fingers. He was her's now. They're in love. She was still dazed by their first kiss. It was amazing 'cuz He was amazing. When they kissed it felt like fireworks were exploding somewhere in her body. She hoped he felt the same.
Listening his velvet voice, she looked at him. Man..He was perfect the way he was. His hair is exceptional the way they are curled and framing his face. Amazing.
Oh..so he was the only child. Vida smiled, still playing with his fingers she spoke up. "So you must be very dear to them.." she was taking in his happy facial expression. "Me.." she paused, "I've a elder brother who's doing Medicine. My mother is a fashion designer. Most of my dresses are her creations.." she looked down at her own trendy outfit before gazed up, "And my father is an Auror in French Ministry" she added, Thought her story was as short as Cedric's except her short list of fears and long list of mischievousness. Hehe..

So far the trip to Hogwarts was an eventful one. However, she had had little sleep the night before, and the day before that one as well. With shopping at Diagon Alley, meeting several people, and finally the excitement when the train arrived--Allison had had very little sleep.
Yawning, Allison heard the question, "Well I want to say I don't care, but well I do. My mum and brother were in Hufflepuff, but the rest of the Scotts but one were Ravenclaws. Cousin Bianca was a Slytherin. That lot scares me. I wish I could be a Gryffindor and be different than everyone in my family!" And that was the first time ever, Allison admitted her fear for Slytherins.
Scrubbing at her watery eyes, Allison gave a sleepy laugh, "Merlin, I'm so tired."

Tavelon made his way through the cars, looking for a seat. Admittedly, being a second year didn't enhance the experience that much. Tavelon's first year had been so much of a blur that he had just gotten used to things when it was time to leave. A little bit taller this year, he at least didn't have to worry about being squished by a sixth year.
He peered around the compartments, looking for any of his friends from last year. It was going to be quite an interesting year.
Drew just chuckled at Annie's comment of sucking at Muggle Studies. "C'mon I doubt you will actually suck at it. And even if you do I could always help you anyways." He said. Yep he was saying he would help her with Muggle Studies just to have morrrrrre time with Annie........"Ummm flying? I guess sooo. It would seem like a pretty fun class and easy." He said smiling lightly.
Allllll those feelings were gone again. There was no way he was bring this up now. It could just screw everything up so he was more than thankful when Annie didn't ask this time. He knew he must have looked like there was something wrong. It just wasn't easy thing to talk about...."Yeah I know what you mean. Muggle school was never exciting and I didn't like homeschooling much....." Oh crap! So he had to go an mention that anyways......
In an answer to his comment about either way helping her, Annie's heart just busted a lot of blood to her cheeks, making her slightly blush, not able to hide, yet she hoped he was looking somewhere else. What the hell was happening around him...Annie had to calm down. And in order to do so, she looked down at Copito and started to pet him, as the pleased kitten began to chase her hand and trying to play/bite it. "Thank you, I'd really appreciate it..." She finally said, and grinned. WIDE.
Had Drew mentioned being homeschooled. Maybe...Yes, he did. "Calm down, I commented that because the last time we talked, back at the ice cream parlor," Oh, beautiful yet painful memories, " you mentioned being homeschooled." Annie said, shrugging her shoulders. "After all, I agree, homeschooling is never fun, they teach you what's basic, under-average practice and consider not to talk to you about the dangers, except when talking about Defense Against the Dark Arts..." Right, those lessons were quite terrifying.

Kellen heard the words, but they didn't seem to be coming from the head on his shoulder. Finally awake, he turned just in time to get a jacket to the face. "Hey!"
The indignant side of him wanted nothing more than to rip the jacket from where it sprawled over his face and shoulders and whip it back at his cousin with all speed, but unfortunately his one arm was pinned by... whoever was under the jacket. Instead, he tugged his right arm free from against the window and made no secret of the fact he was rummaging through Chaucer's inner pockets.
"Hey now, what have we here?" His voice was muffled by the jacket but still audible, "Pictures? Dear cousin, whoever could these young ladies be? They certainly don't look like family..."

"So, how's Brody?" Sylvia leaned back a little and smiled.
"My feet are not cheesy Sylvia Parker." Brody giggled, as she watched her bestie walk into the compartment. Yey, she loved her bestie, and now she was here. Yey. "of course you love my shoes, my shoes are amazing." Brody smirked, as she twirled a strand of hair around her finger, hoping that he friend wouldn't get to travel sick, because she didn't want her bestie to be sick!
"Brody is very good." She smirked at Sylvie. She had Jorma she'd be find. "And how's Sylvviee?"

But we want to say. Before we drop the curtain. Nothing is for sure. Nothing is for certain
Kate didn't know whether to laugh or get offended. I'm not even close to being male...and I'm not heavy! She thought to herself. He could do with some more meat on these arms, it would make them more comfortable. Although it was quite amusing that Kellen automatically assumed it was Chaucer out cold on his shoulder... They must have spent a lot of time together growing up.

"Mmpgh." Getting hit with a jacket wasn't exactly the way Kate like to get woken up, but seeing how it was aimed at Kellen's head, and she was relatively close to the intended target, she got a face full of fabric.

Kate finally opened her eyes when she realized she wasn't going to get any more sleep...that and she heard Kellen say something about pictures of girls in Chaucer's pocket. Gossip was always fun, and Chaucer did kind of wake her up too...it was only fair she paid him back for that. "Ooooh, let me see those pictures!

Chaucer was still feeling a little drowsy and aggravated that his rendezvous with the Norse gods was interrupted. It took him a moment before he quite understood what Kate was getting so excited over.

"Don't be clever, I don't have any..." Chaucer stopped short. Did he have any pictures? He couldn't quite recall... he kept a lot of things in there and often forgot about them. It was after all an odd thing to suddenly bring up out of the blue and was Kellen really so quick as to make a joke while the sleep hadn't fallen yet from his eyes? It was a conundrum: if they were in his pockets, who would they depict? He didn't know any women really and none whatsoever that...
Oh.
Oh right.
Prospects, courtesy from his mother. He had been refusing them up until his last day at home, but it seemed as though she had snuck them along after all. Brilliant woman... knew exactly which jacket I'd be bringing. I don't give her enough credit. But how was he supposed to answer to that? Kellen would obviously either feel upset that his cousin was growing up faster than himself, or be disappointed that Chaucer might one day be forced to spend time in the constant company of another. Poor Kellen. "Oh right those. Well, it's a funny story that would take too much time to explain and actually, it isn't funny at all but rather depressing. They are... lost... students?... from... a muggle neighbourhood. I brought them with me to see if they have stowed away at Hogwarts."Poor, poor Kellen.

Kellen almost didn't hear Chaucer's response, because as soon as he heard Kate's voice right beside his ear he twisted to look down at her and felt something touch his nose. Something that felt distinctly like another nose.
"Nya!" Abandoning all sense of decorum, he clawed free of the jacket and wrapped it around Kate's upper body, shoving the bundled-up girl towards Chaucer and leaping to his feet in the same motion. Unfortunately for him, the luggage rack was right over his head and he banged off of it with such force that Mary Tsu popped off her perch and he sat down with a dazed thump.
It lasted about as long as it took for his vision to focus on Kate, at which point he snapped, "What do you think you're doing, cuddling up like that to someone you barely know?! You..."scared the living daylights out of me? No, that didn't sound particularly manly, so instead he finished with a grumbled, "...should have asked or something! Jeez..."
