Melanie raised an eyebrow. She had been sure that was old news, but she proceeded to explain anyway. "Yeah, werewolves... there was two werewolves on staff last year. And there was an attack on a person the year before. No one died or anything though." she explained, looking at her carefully. "I'm pretty sure Professor Lupa is still teaching Ancient Runes at Hogwarts, but Professor Bontecou, who got turned into a werewolf.. Well, I don't think he's Headmaster anymore. Kazimeriz is. He likes sacking teachers." she stated, matter-oh-factually, taking a bigggggg breath as she finished. She wasn't about to mention all the Hufflepuffs that got killed last term. Melanie was absolutely positive that wouldn't bring back good memories.

Hearing her Cadence's explanation for not knowing, she muttered inaudible something about 'stupid adults' Even if they felt it would be bad for her, in Melanie's opinion, they should have at least sent her to Hogwarts informed. "Yeah...well, ask me if you have any other questions." she said, smiling slightly.

"Well, Gryffindor is a great house, but Hufflepuff is better!" Cadence said smiling at Melanie. "This is my best friend Melanie, by the way. We're both in Hufflepuff. She's a fourth year, and I'm in third, but I should be in fourth. Oh, and I wouldn't worry too much about the making friends thing. It's really easy to make friends at Hogwarts. You'll have a great time here!"

Mina turned as she heard her name called. Stopping, she turned toward the voice. A smile came to her face as she saw it was Carter. "Carter! I was starting to think I'd never find a friend." she smiled. "Have you seen anyone else? I left my compartment in the front to look for anyone."

The first thing Kellen was aware of was the feel of something cold against his forehead. He moved his head slightly, and the cold shifted to his temple. And it was hard.

He gave a groggy "What?" that was more of a murmur than anything else, and realized from the way his body was twisted that he must have fallen asleep and used the window of the train as a pillow. Not the softest part of the compartment he could have picked, but the coolness was nice.

His half-opened eyes looked out the window and watched the country speed away in front of him, and it took him a second to remember he was sitting in the backwards seat. Usually he didn't fall asleep on trains, but apparently the play-fight in the hall mixed with the rocking motion of the train just enough to send him into a catnap.

Natasha had made... A resolve. She would NOT be sad, and she'd enjoy herself, but she wasn't doing it that well. She wasn't doing it at all, in fact. It was easier said then done, in the sunny street of Diagon Alley, but here? Not so much. She just missed Tammy waaay too much. But as bad as she felt, she wanted to be in some company.

She walked down the corridor managing to perk up slightly. So, bad things?

Tammy wasn't here, and the train reminded Tasha all too much of her cousin. Which wasn't good. But the good things? She was going back to Hogwarts and that was something to be happy about. She was even excited. She had a cat this year, and and owl.

Smiling, she slowly slid open a compartment. "Hey, sorry to intrude, but would you mind if I sat in here?" She asked, looking around and hoping they wouldn't mind, that was when she caught sight of her. Melanie. Natasha had liked being around her in her early years of Hogwarts, but it had been a very long time since she'd even seen her.

Kate, having managed to actually get some sleep after the earplug fight, slowly came out of her slumber. I really don't want to get up yet...it's so warm and comfy... She thought to herself as she kept her eyes closed. "Hmm." A sigh escaped her lips as she realized that this may be the last peaceful sleep she'll get for a while, what with sleeping in a populated dorm room and all.

Just then, whatever she was resting against shifted. Opening her eyes a tiny bit, she realized that she was sleeping on Kellen's shoulder.

"Thanks, I just needed to get away from Rex for a little bit. He started talking bad about all slytherins, saying we were all mean and liked to pick on others who are scared of us. It made me mad that he said that so I sort of yelled at him, then I walked away before anything bad could happen." Marie looked at the other two students that were sitting there trying to figure out if she knew them. "Hi, I'm Marie I think we met last term, I am a friend of Kay's." 'Well I think we are still friends, but now that I yelled at her boyfriend she may not want to be friends with me' she thought. "Is your name Kita?" Marie asked looking at the girl sitting across from her.
Looking at the boy sitting there she had no clue who he was. "Hi, I'm Marie, are you new to Hogwarts?"

Arya walked into the compartment, with Kae following close behind. She skipped over to her seat by the window, pulling out a chocolate frog as she sat."Hey guys this is Kae. Kay this is everybody!"She giggled as she ripped open her frog. There was too many of them to introduce individually. As she ate her frog, Perseus hoped into her lap to gret her, she reached into her pocket and gave him a treat."Hey Gwen, I'm Arya. And this little guy is Perseus."She pointed down at her crazy kitten trying to get more treat out of her pockets.

"Great, I'll be by really soon," said Gwen, as Allison stepped out of the compartment.

She turned around and pulled her luggage off the rack.

Finally, I meet someone who isn't a shop keeper... Gwen thought...

She opened her trunk and pulled out her brand new Hogwarts robes.

Its lucky I have money. I don't think second hand robes would be that appealing she thought as she slowly put on her robes.

She closed her trunk back up, and opened the compartment door wondering if she would be able to find this compartment.

To her amazement, the corridor was completely empty, and she could hear something going on in a nearby compartment. Gwen wandered down, thinking of The Wizard of Oz... Follow the yellow brick road. But in her case, follow the carrying noise.

Finally, she came across a compartment that seemed to be bursting at the seams.

I hope I'll fit in there... she thought as she opened the door, and the noise consumed her.

"Um, Hi," she said, trying to not disturb the many conversations going on. "I'm Gwen, Allison invited me to stop by," she said, hoping for approval from Allison's friends.

As soon as she walked in, another girl introduced herself.

"Hey Gwen, I'm Arya. And this little guy is Perseus."

"Oh hello!" said Gwen smiling to herself. "I love cats. Yours is adorable! I have one at home. Her name is Pita. I might bring her along to Hogwarts next year!"

"Muggle Studies. I just think I'll try to suck in that subject for a while." Annie said, joking of course and sticking her tongue out to rephrase it in a funny way. She had been thinking about it though, totally skipping off that class to just go to flying lessons. She was more interested in the sports than anything else. "Interested in...the flying lessons?" Annie asked, randomly, although they had previously talked about Quidditch back at the ice cream parlor.

Something about Drew that Annie sensed was not alright, though she thought about not asking this time. Drew would open his heart in a while, she hoped. And if not, Annie should be okay with it, right? RIGHT. "Well, let's hope this year...and the ones to come bring us something more unbelievable than homeschooling..." Annie always felt that little tingle inside her head she wasn't fully learning what she had supposed to with her dad. After all, he never attemped her going into Quidditch.

Laughing at Em's comment Allison waved her hand, "Oh whatevs. Let the train station sue us! I'm having too much fun to care!~"

Allison looked up at the person being introduced as Kae. At first glance she didn't see much behind Arya, and then she looked again. In front of Allison stood a short skinny girl, much like Allison herself. With short black hair and beautiful green eyes--Allison kept on looking. Suddenly the girl gave a display of her two dimples. Frowning Allison inwardly sighed, she only had one dimple, and it was sooo small it was often missed.

Putting on a smile Allison reached over to shake the girl's hand, "Hallo. I'm Allison. First year, and hopeful housemate to all these fellas!"

Looking around Allison noticed there wasn't much space left in the compartment and shook her head. One more person and SHE'D become claustrophobic.

"I hope you can manage there seems to be little space, but I think we'll fit." Retaking her seat Allison turned to pet Tegan.

And then, the last person arrived. The one to make the compartment explode. Well it was Allison's fault after all, she had tried her hand at being social and she had succeeded.

Laughing at herself Allison spoke, "And this is the girl I mentioned. Gwen! Welcome to what I know call Chaos...the black whole. Where you come in and it is difficult to go anywhere else."

Scooting over and all but squishing Anastasia to the compartment window, Allison patted the small space next to her. "You can come and sit, lucky for you I'm super skinny."

Allison was young and appearance still didn't really matter to her. The only thing that had ever really bothered her was how UNDERweight she was. Most people made fun of her--especially the entire Scott family, and often murmured things about her. Thus, Allison always tried to make light of her weight. Oh she ate, and sometimes to her mother's dismay too much. However her metabolism was so fast that her aunt had once jinxed her so that she wouldn't be blown away by the wind. Not that she would have been blown, but the family was like that. Inconsiderate and liked to make things worse than they were.

Gwen took the seat, tight squeeze as it was. There really were a lot of people in here. Too bad no older student to test their magical skill on expanding it by a little bit.

"Thanks, Allison," Gwen said, happy that she was surround by people. She turned to the girl sitting next to her that was now squeezed up against the door. "Hello, sorry for making less room in the cart."

Gwen glanced around once more. Noting how many people were in there, she decided to address the whole compartment.

"So, what house are you all hoping for, " she asked.

Parker needed someone in charge so this girl would stop abusing him. "Joke. It was a joke." It wasn't but she didn't have to know that, as long as she stopped touching him. "I can joke too, ya know." He might have other ways to joke, but he always thought it was funny. "I never even mentioned hating muggles. Just because you hate them, doesn't mean everyone does." He doesn't hate he just thinks they are crazy, crazy people that can't use magic. "Are you trying to kill me?" he asked when she started abusing him with the book. "Ravenclaws don't abuse books." Hopefully there weren't any around to see that abuse. Maybe, someone should be around, like a Prefect to take this crazy girl away. When he finally was able to look at the book, Parker shook his head, "Sounds boring." The guys name was Percy. How interesting could it be? And what the heck is an Olympian? The Sea Monsters did sound cool though.

"Now, I will take that as a compliment." He didn't know why he had a big ego, because he wanted to be a Slytherin? "You're right, I might not be a Slytherin." he stated as he unfolded his arms. "I could be a..Gryffindor!" he sat up straight, puffed out his chest and nodded. He was brave enough for that house. He would just have to deal with the red robes, and then he would deal with his parents, which was more scary than the red robes. Sitting back, Parker smirked, "She read to you? You can't read?" but before she had a chance to hit him again he threw up his hands, "Kidding. I'm kidding again." This was not fun when he had to explain his jokes to her.

Parker was not ticklish. Not that anyone had tickled him before, but he knew he wasn't. No, he thought he wasn't. He shook his head, "Nope." A bloody nose? Was she threatening him? That's what it sounded like to him. She wanted to hit him? He wanted to do the same to her, only he wouldn't hit a girl. He wasn't that mean. "Is that just an excuse to touch me?" Probably.

And she touched him. She touched him again! Parker was going to win this poking war, no matter what it took.

He let her poke him..again, and when she stopped to talk, he moved in.

Nicoletta found a compartment with a few people in it. "Hey I'm Nicoletta, this is my second year. can I sit with you?"

Drew just chuckled at Annie's comment of sucking at Muggle Studies. "C'mon I doubt you will actually suck at it. And even if you do I could always help you anyways." He said. Yep he was saying he would help her with Muggle Studies just to have morrrrrre time with Annie........"Ummm flying? I guess sooo. It would seem like a pretty fun class and easy." He said smiling lightly.

Allllll those feelings were gone again. There was no way he was bring this up now. It could just screw everything up so he was more than thankful when Annie didn't ask this time. He knew he must have looked like there was something wrong. It just wasn't easy thing to talk about...."Yeah I know what you mean. Muggle school was never exciting and I didn't like homeschooling much....." Oh crap! So he had to go an mention that anyways......

Cedric face abruptly turn into deep red after Vida kissed him; he was blushing. What he was feeling right now was quite unusual, maybe it was because Vida was his first kiss. And their kiss was still going on, he liked it though someone might have seen them so they should like part their lips apart, for now though.

He kissed her back, he was fighting, yep. His heartbeats were so really fast; it was beyond normal. He hoped that Vida wouldn't think that he was taking advantage of her, he knew Vida like him too so it's okay if he kissed her.

"That felt amazing.. really amazing" He muttered under his breath as they lips parted apart, he would want to keep their kiss longer but somebody could have seen them. "I love you.."

"Hello! My name is Anna, and sure you can sit with us, if we have any room...."
There were four people already sitting here.

He was blushing. She could see his cheek turned to slight shade of pink to match up with hers. She kept her eyes locked with his' as their lips connected in the softest of touches.

Then she gave in to the warmth and sensual feeling of his mouth on hers, again. There was no awkwardness in this kiss, it was as if they knew exactly what the other wanted.

She couldnt helpt but gasping for breath when he pulled away. She said nothing but nodded her head as agreed with him. Yes. This kiss was amazing. He was tasty. And then...

He pronounced those words. So..so..so..prescious and powerful words in the world. I Love you.

Dazed Vida, blushed again as kept looking into his gorgeous, honest eyes "I love you too, Cedric..." She knew it came from her heart. She wondered How much her lil heart can take at a time!!!

As Vida's pronounced her obligatory 'I love you' to him, He felt like he was in a broom and he was flying so blissfully, with her. She's fantastic, she is.. really. He love her so much!

They're now officially lovers. Vida should meet his friends; he would introduce her to them. "Thank you.." was his reply, he dunno what to really say, Vida's words were like a whirlwind running and circling around his mind. "That's so nice to hear those words from you."

"Thanks!" Nicoletta replied and squeezed in across from Anna. "So what year are you guys?"

She was still looking at him, reliving every single second of what was the single best, first kiss in her life. She was so preoccupied with her own happy little daydream that she did hear him talking only after few blinks.

No..No thank you business, Cedric. You silly boy.

Vida rolled her eyes playfully and put her index finger against his perfect lips a good excuse to touch his lips again..haha.. "If you say it again, I'll kiss you again..." she smiled with a happy wink.

"Yeah. You made my day, Charmer." she said and leaning her head on his shoulder, happily.

He chuckled at Vida's response. Hehe.. Well, he would want to be kissed by her again but they were in a public place and it is quite embarrassing to death when you got caught doing some things that should be done privately though that was okay if they got caught kissing each other, they love each other, they lovers so it's okay and who will care anyway? the prefects? nah, they won't bother, surely.

"You too, you made my day, Ms. Fantastic!" Cedric grinned at her, he was like made of brilliance in Vida's eyes. Like he, his father has always been a charmer; being a charmer is a dominant trait he got from his father. He's quite the Casanova as a friend of him has said it to him.

A wind stirred in the Compartment. "That's like saying all Hufflepuff's are stupid", avery said. There was no longer a smile on her face. She was not beginging to like Rex. In fact, she was starting to hate him. Half of her family was in Slytherin and most of them were nice people.

He chuckled. It was the gorgeous sound she ever heard. She is being partial? No. It was true. Vida had been like a I-cant-fall-in-love kind of girl only before she met Cedric, the handsome curly haired amazing boy who declared his love to her just a few seconds before.

Vida's inner squirmed in happines as she heard him saying those words in her mind again and again. Smiling at him tenderly, She took his hand in his, linking fingers with his. "Tell me about your family, Ced." she asked interestedly. They didnt know each other's family. Yes. But simply fell in love. Love at first sight. Finally a miracle happened in Vida's life at the age of fourteen. Amazing!

Cedric glanced at Vida with enthusiasm and glee. She's just so amazing to watch and he could not get his eyes away from her so lovely face. He smiled as Vida hold his hand again, her hand is quite soft and warm, Cedric bound his benign fingers to her hand.

She seemed so happy with him; he was glad that Vida was having a great quality time with him. "Ah.. sure.. well, my family isn't that big. I'm an only child, my parents are businessmen. How about you?" Cedric answered and then asked her. There's a lot of things he should say to Vida about his family but if he say his parents are business tycoons and they are so very rich, He'd think it would be like he was boasting and being ostentatious of how rich his family is.
