Chaucer was still feeling a little drowsy and aggravated that his rendezvous with the Norse gods was interrupted. It took him a moment before he quite understood what Kate was getting so excited over.

"Don't be clever, I don't have any..." Chaucer stopped short. Did he have any pictures? He couldn't quite recall... he kept a lot of things in there and often forgot about them. It was after all an odd thing to suddenly bring up out of the blue and was Kellen really so quick as to make a joke while the sleep hadn't fallen yet from his eyes? It was a conundrum: if they
were in his pockets, who would they depict? He didn't know any women really and none whatsoever that...
Oh.
Oh right.
Prospects, courtesy from his mother. He had been refusing them up until his last day at home, but it seemed as though she had snuck them along after all.
Brilliant woman... knew exactly which jacket I'd be bringing. I don't give her enough credit. But how was he supposed to answer to that? Kellen would obviously either feel upset that his cousin was growing up faster than himself, or be disappointed that Chaucer might one day be forced to spend time in the constant company of another. Poor Kellen.
"Oh right those. Well, it's a funny story that would take too much time to explain and actually, it isn't funny at all but rather depressing. They are... lost... students?... from... a muggle neighbourhood. I brought them with me to see if they have stowed away at Hogwarts." Poor, poor Kellen.
