Marie could tell that Avery was mad at what Rex had said. She too was still very mad at him. He was being a total jerk just because of what 2 Slytherins may or may not have done.

If we did that then I would hate all of Hufflepuff and all of Gyrffindor just because of 1 student in each house." Looking at Avery who was a Hufflepuff and thinking about her friend Kay, if they were still friends, who also was a Hufflepuff, Marie knew that she couldn't judge that whole house just because of what that crazy Hufflepuff boy did to her last term.
"I thought he was such a nice kid when I met him at Jason's party. I guess I was wrong about that. I will definately be keeping an eye on him this term."
