"Why are you blushing?" Rex asked Kay. "We have been going out fpr awhile" Rex said to Kay. Kay is so cute when she blushed. "Well, I like steak, baked potato, hot chili and homemade apple pie, my favorite dish" Rex explained to Kay. ' Go ahead and order for me" he told Kay. "Are you sure you have enough money to buy me a meal?" Rex asked her. Rex knew Kay was not rich and had only some money.

"A bit strange is one way to put it. Hostile, violent, foaming at the mouth are a few others!" Neptune added, with some indigence. She took the icing off her cake and licked it off of her spoon before rearranging herself in her seat so that she was up on her knees again. She leaned Raiden's way, but it was to get near Kellen.

You know, since Raiden was flirting with Rabbit girl.

"You made her stand down, though Kellen. I feared she might literally bite me! And then she KISSED YOU!" Oh this was SUCH a good tale. Was everyone listening? Neptune gave the entire table a look - she wanted GASPS of shock and awe! "Bit of a hero, really." GIGGLE.

Someone DROWNED a scorpion?

A small sniff might have originated from Miss Winloch as the corners of her mouth dropped and her eyes turned sad ... almost teary ... when she heard the tragic tale ... and it was not from being cold. The poor, dear, little scorpion. How would it have felt ... dying in its own home?

"Does this ... Ian know who did it?" She inquired, letting her eyes fall on each person currently seated on the table.

Madiison turned to STARE at Raiden. "You have to re-pay someone for getting a chocolate frog?" Sure, her mother had told her never to be under anyone's debt but ... a chocolate frog? Seriously? They had to re-pay for receiving chocolate frogs here? What if she took one from someone and forgot about it and never payed them back?!

She would be indebted! Heck, she is ALREADY under a LOT of debt.

So that would mean she'd have to note it all down ...

Licking her lips, Di started to think about alllllll the chocolate frogs she had just asked for and people had tossed at her without ever asking for it back and almost missed the bit about the girl turning ugly ....

... Foaming at the mouth ... ?

EW! Maybe it was better if she HAD missed that part for the distorted face now had foam bubbling out of its mouth.

And it was DISGUSTING.

Di's eyes fell onto the ice cream sundae which sat in front of her.

AWW! Her ice cream was MELTING! With a quiiick swish, Di thrust the spoon into her mouth. MMMMMMMM. Ice cream.

Nikki was walking slowly down the main street, running her fingers through her staright hair. It had started to curl again, and she had spent a half hour straighting it. Urgh, it was hard to stay good looking, but totally worth it. Her outfit had taken a long time to pick too. After all, it was her first offical date with Blake. After another half hour, Nikki had finally decided to wear a green dress shirt with black leggings underneath. She was late yes, but who cared?

Yes who cared. Nikki had learned from her oldest cousin that if you arrived to early it made you look desperate. And Nikki was definatly NOT desperate. Being a couple minutes late would be fine. The max was 5. And thats exactly how late she was when she walked into the quiet pub. Looking around, Nikki noticed Blake sitting. "Hi." She said sitting down across from him.

Now that Neptune was leaning away from him and towards Raiden and the others, Sabel took his chance to slip his arm away from the Bott's creeping fingers and onto his lap. Frowning, he glanced between all the conversation at the table, his eyebrows arching upon hearing that Ian's scorpion had been murdered, and rising again some with Neptune's description of Emilia.

"A puppy can still be cute if it's foaming at the mouth." He muttered, taking a sip of his tea. Sucking in a quick breath, Sabel's face srunched up at the overpowering bite of two teaspoons of sugar. Half was almost too much, but two?

Coughing he put the cup back down and looked to Kellen. "I'm assuming by ugly, you mean her disposition turned rather unpleasant? And why would someone drown Charlotte? I mean she gave you a bit of a run, but that's no good reason to kill her. And why did Emilia kiss you?" This kid had certainly had some adventures.

Kellen sighed as he took in Daphne's flushed cheeks and gripping of her cup; yup, she was irritated.

"Yeah," he said, answering Raiden, Madiison and Sabel, "they did. I have no idea who, other than a Ravenclaw boy, but it makes no sense. Damien and I caught her and put her in a container, then Ian added flowers so she would smell nice... but who fills a container with water?"

And he really, really wished Neptune hadn't told them about the kissing part. Now it was his turn to get indignant, "It was only on the cheek. And apparently she thought I was Damien, I have no idea how that works. Maybe she needs her glasses prescription checked," he muttered. "Either way, if I was Damien I'd watch out for her. She already tackled him down by the lake when we..."

This was about the time he noticed Neptune leaning across the table, but instead of commenting on it he raised an eyebrow and glanced at Sabel, "In what universe is foaming at the mouth considered cute? Because in this one it means someone's either diseased or hostile. Or both."

Daphne stared at Neptune over the rim of her cup. Not one to disappoint, she allowed her hazel eyes to widen. In fact, Hopton even threw in a shocked gasp for extra effect before she lazily turned her attention back to her tea.

Cold tea by now. This Emilia and Charlotte Marie story was impossibly long and the more she heard of it the more she disliked both of them; well, perhaps not Charlotte Marie. Rest Her Soul.

"Maybe instead of getting a new prescription she needs to find a better excuse to surprise-kiss boys," mumbled Daphne into her cup. Looking up, startled, Daphne realized she had actually spoken out loud. Huh. Well. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't meant to interrupt. Do continue. Please."

In the meantime, Daphne was going to gaze around at the patrons and hoped someone's robes would catch on fire or one of the ceiling lamps would fall. Something dramatic.

She seriously, was not willing to step a foot inside this place. Ewww ew ew. Just staring at the door was enough to make her run away, but she wanted to see how long Josh would last in this place. Heck, she wanted to see how long SHE would last in this place. So, clearing her throat, and with a brief glance towards Josh, she took a step inside and forced herself not to bolt out. This was soooo not going to go well with her image and reputation...

"Soo...do you want to pick a seat?" she tried to say in a happy tone, though it definitely sounded forced. This was the only, THE only, time they were ever coming here. EVER! No one recognize. Or better yet, no one recognize her...

There was a sneaky smile on Josh's face as they walked all the way from The Hog's Head to Madame Puddifoott's. He still was not sure if she took the offer seriously or was playing with him as he attempted to do. Probably the second option since in Josh's idea, Evelyn was not the type to come here sooo willingly and sit among kissy couples. Was he smiling? Not anymore once he set his eyes on the door and peeked inside. What a...yuck...place and was that colour pink !!!!!!

No Gryffindor bravery would work here to step inside however he did it right after Rose committed the same thing. Once they were inside it was even harder to keep the role. Pleh! He was observing the place and people inside when Rose spoke so he got a little bit taken aback for a moment. ''Ummm...'' hold the words about running away and ever looking back in your mouth ''...i want to leave this honour to you''

She couldn't take her eyes from the PINK ness in the room. It was...disgusting! Horror filled! Run away and never come back! Though, perhaps Professor Bunz decorated the place. That seemed highly likely since it seemed the woman loved pink just as much as this place probably did. Evelyn felt, extremely out of place with her dark skinny jeans and black jacket, but she was not backing down. If this was a joke Josh was playing, she was not going to be the first to crack.

He was making her choose somewhere to sit? Ehh. "Umm...Alright, I guess." she mumbled, crossing her arms and a slight frown on her face. Somewhere where NO ONE could see them. She did not want to be spotted in here by someone who knew her, or else she'll never be able to live this down. Though there weren't really many tables someplace where no one could see you. Why!? Isn't that what was expected when someone walked in here?! To be alone and unnoticed while still in a crowded area!? Oh, there was someplace.

"There... I guess." she pointed towards the back. It was 'darker' than the rest, a little noticeable, but it would have to do. Taking a deep breathe, she walked deeper into the place towards the back, not daring to look anyone in the eyes as she passed by a few taken tables. She completely forgotten for a moment that she would be here alone, with Josh. Wasn't this someplace that people went on dates and such?

From the way she looked, Josh could tell that Rose was going to give up, soon. Ah, yes she was stubbornly challenging him in this joke game. Fine. He glanced around in horror. Well...maybe not really fine but he definitely should have been more...resistant (to pinkness) than her (he survived Bunbury's Office after all). Though it was hard to keep the patience, Josh did not think he would lose this game for Rose was the person for darker and less bright colours, obviously, while he liked in the red and goldness of Gryffindor tower. Red and gold were not so horrible like pink but at least they were bright colours.

However another shock hit him when the Slytherin girl simply agreed to choose a place to sit herself. Whaaat! Was not she going to run away? Or do any kind of horrified reaction? Wow! She was so hard to deal with. While she pointed at a table in a far corner and started to move towards it, the boy thought of grabbing her and escaping out this place but no, not yet. This was an obvious challenge and he was the Gryffindor. Hmm... were Gryffindors also stubborn? ''Okay'' he said trying cover up the odd tone he spoke with. He could not help it while there were kissy faces around. Maybe, if he was lucky enough, nobody from his house would come and see them there. ''Do you want to drink something?'' he asked once he sat down were she pointed ''Or eat...maybe?''

He wasn't going to give up was he? Was he even playing around with this idea? Sighing as he sat down, she decided she might as well sit down too, so she didn't look like some idiot just standing next to a table. Taking off her jacket first since it was quite warm in the little place compared to outside, she sat down and stared at Josh across from her. Something to eat and drink? Hmm, well she was still hungry since she didn't get to eat the sandwich at the Three Broomsticks before Rex and Kay came over... "Umm, sure." What was there to eat or drink here though? She couldn't see the menu from this angle. "You can get whatever...I don't really care." Just nothing gross...

Looking around, maybe it was a bad idea to eat something here. With all these lovey dovey couples and kissy faces going on, surely she wouldn't be able to keep down. 'Well, if I just don't look at anyone besides Josh, than I won't be sick.' Good. Now she had a plan for that, she just needed a plan to get out of here without sounding too desperate.

Dylan was ready. He had prepared for this date for a while. Well since they had decided to go together. He had gone smart/casual again. A shirt and jeans. That was his usual out of school wear.

He stood in the doorway, waiting for her to enter.

She agreed again. She agreed though eating or drinking something meant spending more time in here than the estimated amount. It already had exceeded the amount of time that Rose would survive in this place as he estimated it. Giving her a slight nod of agreement, he fixed his eyes on the menu, only the menu, and started to read everything on it. No wonder why the menu got extremely interesting for him. Plus he was buying time with the hope that the Slytherin girl might give up in the progress before he could decide on anything.

''Okay...what about Welsh cakes and coffee or maybe croissant and coffee, cake and milk or croissant and water. I do not feel like having a meal so i go with these stuff. Hope it's fine for you.'' Okay he might have started an attempt to claim a record on talking about a menu. ''Are you hungry?'' his eyes were still on the menu. ''If you are so i can buy Sausage roll, Cornish pastie; is that a meal? ...Whatever...cheese toast, norm toast, bean toast, pork pie, vegetable pie (yuck), steak and kidney pie...ummm a bacon buttie...''

Gold wore flowing, pale blue robes. Heels too, of course. But you couldn't see those, because her dress hid it. It didn't hide her largish, gold earrings though. She loved those.

"Dylan."

She spotted him, half-ran over, and threw her arms around him. No need to act all formal, right?

"Me love you."

Dylan caught her in his arms. The squeal gave her away. It made him happy. That she wanted to see him. He gave her a twirl on the spot.

He gave her a kiss on the cheek, "I love you too." He gave her a bit of a squeeze.

Hurrah for ze whirl!

"DyDy, you have to see my new heels!" Gold said, pulling at his sleeve. Throwing all ladylike-ness to the winds, she caught a fistful of her pretty robes, and pulled them up to show him her sparkly, new heels. "My mum sent them, last week. They're so ... shimmery!"

She hugged him again, all happy. "Let's go and get ourselves a table, then? So I can show you my heels, again?"

Dylan smiled, "You have new shoes?" He put her back down on the ground. He looked down at the sparkliness. "Wow they are shimmery." Kind of blinding. He was wearing his blue converse. They went with his shirt. That was how he coordinated his clothes. Shoes and shirt.

"Yeah ok," he smiled. "I will buy you anything you want. Cake, drinks...anything. My treat of course."

"Yush." Gold pouted a bit, couldn't he tell they were new? They were all shimmery. "Thanks," she began, then pouted again as he let go. Because she liked being spun round. By him.

A small frown appeared on her face, when he began to speak again. She didn't want cake. She wanted DyDy. "You pick table?" she asked, reaching out for his hand and swinging it a bit. Then she let it go, and scanned the place for a nice table. Oh, there one was. "How about that one?"

They needed to get seated.

Rawwrrr.

He gave her hand a squeeze. "Yep that one is fine." He pulled her towards the table. "Come on then," he beamed a her. "So can I get you anything?" he pulled out her chair for her to sit down. He would then sit opposite her, once she was sat down.

Yay. He was on a date. A proper date. With the girl he loved.

Gold frowned, when he pulled at her hand. But that was sort of okay. Because Dylan was always so nice. Even though he had kissed Brody in front of her, once.

But that was an old story, now.

Brody Summers was, thankfully, history.

"No," she frowned a bit. "Don't you want to sit down, and talk to me and all?" She frowned again. Could she kiss him, now? She sort of wanted to. But maybe that could wait?

Love was strange.

Dylan smiled, "I love talking to you. I just don't want you to be hungry or thirsty." He sat down opposite her. "So how has prefecting been?" he asked. Since he didn't see her when she was busy. And with Torin. Why did he have to be prefect as well? He frowned slightly. They were history now. But she had kissed him. In front of Dylan.

"Hows you co-prefect?" he asked. He had no idea who the co-prefect was. He knew it was a boy though.

"Well, I'm not," Gold said, with a shrug. She had eaten a chocolate chip cookie, an hour or so ago. Not that that was enough food but, well, she just wasn't in the mood for something to eat.

Or in the mood for something to drink.

"Prefecting is sort of okay." She looked at her hands, remembering the disastrous potions class. "Remember potions? I still need to get the hang of it all, I guess... and do you mean Chris? Or Jack?" Yeah, there were two other Gryffindor prefects out there.

"Oh ok," Dylan frowned. She had yet to eat on one of his dates. Maybe she just didn't eat. He didn't want her to be anorexic or anything. That wouldn't be a good look. Not at all.

"I can help you with potions if you want," he offered, "I am quite good at it. And I am sure you will get a hang of controlling people. That Peeves fellow seemed kind of out of control. So I don't expect you would be able to control him." He took it like he did a performance. One step at a time, and in a certain order. Like learning lines, or preparing.

Chris or Jack? There were two of them. "Um both?"

"Why are you frowning?"

Gold frowned, mostly because he had, and wondered what he was thinking. Maybe he found it odd that she didn't want to eat? Well, it wasn't her fault! He drove her hunger away. Every time.

"Potions ... it's an okay subject," she said, shrugging a bit. "I can handle it fine, when I try. It was mostly Peeves I was talking about. Professor Kazimeriz totally made me feel like I failed, big time... and let me say, I hadn't even seen that poltergeist, before that class."

She still felt so new, sometimes.

"They're fine. Why do you ask?" Did he even know either of them? Gold had to grin at the thought.
