Keeley grinned, she hadn't talked to Mina in a while. And wow! Her chess piece was river dancing!! Her hair turned curly blonde as she respinded, "Nothing much. Ecxept I drew this." she motioned to the illustration of the shoe. "Oh, and I like your chess piece. How did you do that?"

Celandine cradled one in her lap and held the other with her right hand. Using her left, which was her wand hand, Cela flicked her wand at the first shoe, concentrating super hard.

Mmm. It wasn't a deep enough blue for Cela's tastes so she adjusted it, then she did the other shoe, checked they matched and solemnly passed them back to Tibi.

"That should hold up for a few months at least."

Tiberius beamed as Cela handed him back the shoes. Clapping the soles together, they lit up, blinking a brilliant blue. Tibi watched, the light flashing on his face. These. were. perfect.

"Thank you soooooo much, Cela!" Tibi dropped the shoes and lunged for an overenthusiastic little-kid hug.

Realizing that... perhaps that wouldn't necessarily have been welcome, he released her a little sheepishly with an apologetic smile, before grabbing the blinking shoes off the floor and kicking his current ones off.

Sliding them on his feet, they were a little big, but not terribly. Not even bothering to lace them, Tibi did a few march steps around the common room, eyes fixated on his feet.

Satisfied and fascinated, Tibi plopped back down on the couch and kicked up his blinking heels, lacing dangling, grinning from ear to ear.

That was certainly a much better mood then when he'd first come in.

Cela was never one to mind hugs, not that she had a chance to respond in kind.

"Its okay Tibi! Ravenclaw colours are always a good thing!" She watched him test them out and grinned back at him. "I'll show you how to do it some time."

"I'd like that," Tibi said softly. He didn't know if he'd be able to manage it, but it would be cool to try.

Staring at his shoes another moment, Tibi just smiled, resting comfortably on the couch.

Yep. This was good.

Mina smiled and looked at the picture. "You are very good at that, you know. I wish I could draw." She wasn't at all gifted in the drawing field at all, she was lucky to be able to draw a straight line with a ruler. Looking at her little knight she smiled and looked back up at Keeley. "Well, I charmed him to dance, since I have yet to find him a friend to work on my transfiguration homework with. He seems to like dancing though. He was chasing after my little pink peep bunny before, but I kind of got hungry and eat the peep." she shrugged. "He's quite a cute little thing though, I just need to find him a friend thought."

Damon came in from the grounds very cold after being by the lake for a while. Now he was waiting for his other classmate to come in as well and wondered what she doing. Damon sat down on one of the many couches that were available and started studying a roll of parchment in his hand. It was a study guide he had made up.

"Hey Damon!" Bonnie said.

"Well you showed up here quickly" said Damon "I like how quick you are in getting here. Did you want to study anything together" said Damon holding up the parchment in his hand. The parchment was very heavy for its size and Damon was afraid of dropping it on the ground if he was not careful.

"Of course!" Bonnie beamed.

"Is there any sort of subject you want to study right now Bonnie" asked Damon. "I was thinking we could study our muggle studies homework on footware that we wear everyday."

"Sure!" Bonnie smiled.

Jack entered the CR in a lousy mood. First...the lose the Quidditch Match...and it was HIS FAULT. Next, they lose at Gobstones.....and BOTH to Slytherin.

Keeping in mind that he was a Prefect, he didn't break anything, didn't yell at anybody, he just walked though to the dorm. Maybe some time with his guitar or drumsticks would improve his mood.

"Okay" Damon said "to start off do you have any favorite footware that you like to wear. The professor gave several good examples of the kind of footware any person can wear." He looked Bonnie in the eyes and wondered what her answer would be.

"I like um... sneakers?" Bonnie frowned. "You?"

'I think you read my mind" said Damon smiling "i have similar interest in that kind of footware as well. What kind of footware do you not really like" Damon asked.

"Heels!" Bonnie cringed.

Mina glanced up from her seat in the comfy armchair. She must have spaced out while watching her little knight dancing in her hand. She barely noticed their prefect come in, but jump a little at his entrance. At least, I'm not alone in being upset about the quidditch and gobstone loses.

Shrugging she turned her attention back to the chess piece in her hand. The disadvantage of having so few friends, was no one to really do homework with. She pouted thinking about it, she did need to make new friends. But that would have to wait till she did manage to get what homework she could done, with or without a partner.

Setting her little knight down on her lap, she pulled out some parchment to work on the essay for second half of her transfiguration homework. She was cutting it quite close but a challenge was always a driving force for her.

A farmilliar tapping noise is heard just outside the common room door. A moment later, it opens, revealing a tall girl with a white cane, wearing dark, round sunglasses. Her hair is cut short, just covering her ears, and her long nails are painted black. She stands for a moment, a beige shoulder bag on her side, before she makes her way across the common room. Counting scilently, she first reaches the homework table. Then, she turns and takes seven paces to an armchair. Then, finally, she sits on the sofa in front of the fireplace.

Collapsing her cane and placing it in a vest pocket, she pauses for a moment, and her lips jerk to the side, only for an instant, before proceeding to take a book out of her shoulder bag. A red marker is wedged halfway in the book. She feels for it, before opening the book, before begining to run her fingers across the raised bumps on the page.

Virgi came into the common room after a long day. She plopped herself in a chair and looked around. She saw Damon, Bonnie, Jack, Mina, and a bunch of other people. She wanted to talk to someone but didn't know who to talk to. She just decided to let them come to her.

Mina glanced up from watching Phillipe dancing and noticed Virgi walk in. She smiled at the other girl and waved her over. "Hey Virgi, long time no see." she smiled. She needed to stay happy and not be all melancholy and maybe if she talked to her housemates more, she wouldn't be so dull. Her only true friend the past few weeks was Phillipe and he was just a little knight. A cute little thing, but not a real person or a real breathing friend.

Shaking herself from her thoughts again, she looked up at Virgi and smiled again. "So what's up?"

"Nothin' much, just got out of class," Virgi said, smiling.

Mina nodded. "Me too. Sorry about my Imp in CoMC. Petrie is apparently a little troublemaker." she laughed.

"Haha, Its OK, I am just so tired from class," Virgi said. "So you named your imp Petrie? I named mine Missy."

"Yup, he just struck me as a Petrie. I saw Missy running about. Those imps are quite rambunctious, aren't they?" Mina giggled. It was probably the first time in a few days she had been able to laugh and not be all melancholy and sad. "Yeah and then one of the imps throw a bug at me too. I wasn't not pleased at all with that!"
