Sydney chuckled as Lyra tried to speak & eat at the same time. She was a bit nervous but was really eager to try the spell "I am absolutely positive that it's the right spell" she said in a determined tone. Sydney took the goblet from Lyra and set it on the table, she swished her wand & chanted "Reparo!". In a split second the goblet restored to it's original condition & white fumes came out from the tip of her wand. Sydney excitedly glanced at Lyra, "You should try it too Lyra, lets break it again" She said grinning.

Lyra watched as Sydney waved her wand, white light came out of it and the goblet was whole again. "woah" Lyra said amazed "thats really handy!"
Lyra grabbed the goblet again and with a huge smirk on her face she threw it on the ground and picked up the pieces. "my turn" she said happily and pointed her cherry wand at the goblet, waved her wand like Sydney did and said firmly "reparo!". The goblet restored again and Lyra looked at her wand, amazed "that's my second spell i can use!" she said stupidly happy and threw her arms in the air as though celebrating. "ooooh thanks for learning me this spell its very useful!" she said and looked at Sydney with wide happy eyes.

Aaron laughed, "At least the PLANTS will be awake enough for classes tomorrow. I'm beat. An entire day of travelling... It takes a lot out of an 11 year old." Aaron slouched a little bit. He really was tired. Where was the Headmaster? Hmph, keeping him waiting... "So, who is the head of our house?"

Pouring himself yet another goblet of pumpkin juice, Clifford laughed along with Aaron. He had a good point.. it had been a loooong day and he was ready to put his head down for the night - add tons of excitement, anticipation and nerves to that equation.. yeah, those firsties must've been exhausted. Completely and utterly exhausted. "You'll appreciate your bed more this way," he said with a grin, "and our Head of House is Professor Forrester.. he teaches Astronomy and he's pretty cool. A little scary, but cool."

Ruby was sitting having a sip of Pumpkin Juice and heard Clifford she noticed his Head Boy badge and said to him trying not to raise her head "good summer Clifford? well done on Head boy"

Aaron chuckled, "I guess so!"

Aaron looked up at the staff table wondering who Professor Forrester was. Hmmmm... "Which one is Professor Forrester?"

"Thank you, Ruby," Clifford said coolly after sipping from his own goblet. He still didn't forget her reactions to his being Prefect at the last start-of-term feast. GRR. "My summer wasn't too bad.. yours?"

"Uhhhm - Professor Forrester iiiiis ... thata one," Clifford said, pointing his finger in the direction of the Head of House. "The bloke that looks like he'd rather be elsewhere.."

Okay - this was boring.

It was rare for a feast not to be boring, but this was just far too boring. As she curled her lips around a fork with mashed potatoes in it, Evangeline couldn't help but to think that the idea she had had was incredibly, incredibly stupid. Really? Be away from Clifford so that the Prefects were at different sides of the table, therefore controlling everything? Eh.

Again. So stupid.

Resting her elbow on the table like a little eleven year old who hadn't learn her manners, the seventh year looked over at the staff table and a few frown lines appeared on her forehead as she realised the Headmaster's chair was empty. "Oh god. Bontecou totally got lost, didnt he?" She asked, no one in particular.

Aaron looked up at the Head of House. He really wasn't talking to anybody. He was just eating and drinking and looking around. This guy was cool? Aaron chuckled, "Oh, okay!" Aaron took a swig of pumpkin juice. He then took a look at the rest of the teachers. Wow, there are a lot of teachers.

"So is the dungeon common room as cool as my parent's said? Tinted green and under the lake?" He really hoped that what his parents told him was true.

Mystic was rather surprised by Adzuki's remark about her hair. What she never heard of a metamorphmagus? Is she a muggle? She thought to herself."Well some times hair color can not be helped. I am or was a metamorphmagus but, one night in my sleep my hair changed color from stress and I can not change it back," she said to Adzuki's remark.

Clifford would've recognised that voice miles away. Leaning forward on the bench, his tie hanging dangerously over his plate of gravy, the seventh year peered down the length of the table. And just like he thought, there was Evangeline. Evangeline looking pretty bored.

There was no way she'd hear him over the blabble of noise in the Great Hall, so Clifford proceeded to wave frantically, hoping to get her attention. He didn't like that idea of keeping an eye on both ends of the table anymore.

"Apparently he's been to space a bunch of times.. and saw those alien things," Clifford told Aaron, brown eyes still on Professor Forrester, "someone told me he even had an alien grow inside him.. and that it burst out of his chest or something." Now THAT was cool.

"Yeah, the Common Room is awesome!" EEE! He quite liked telling the firstie all these things. "It does get a little chilly sometimes though, y'know, being waay down in the dungeons and under the lake." Now he thought about it, that explained why people liked to sit near the fire. Hmm. "And we have the best sofas.. green leather."

"See, I told you it was handy!" Sydney said with a smirk. She watched Lyra as she broke the goblet again & laughed as Lyra celebrated her second successful spell. "It's okay dear! I think we are going to enjoy Charms class a lot" She said while putting some chicken wings on her plate. "I wonder how are the teachers, they better not be strict." Sydney said to Lyra, yawning. She was so tired, all she wanted now was a nice long sleep.

"That's so cool!" Aaron quite liked space. He tried to picture an alien popping out of the chest of that professor. He laughed at the thought.

"Yeah, I know what ya mean." Aaron forgot that it must get cold down there. Bad during the winter, but good when the weather's warm. "Ooh, green leather. Awesome." Aaron really did not care for what fabric they were, just as long as it was comfy. "Do kids usually hang out down there?"

"Oh nothing..." Grace answered with a crying emotion surpassed by a frantic laugh. "Just I'm allergic to chocolate. It'll pass eventually... Hey, what's that firework thing?" she asked in an effort to escape the attention. She was still hesitating if she should have her face checked, but she didn't want to be the first to visit the hospital wing either. She decided not to care. If it didnt pass in two hours, then should she worry.

Aaron was confused, "Well maybe you shouldn't eat chocolate." Aaron gave a little laugh. Why would she eat it if she knew it would do something to her?

"Oh the firework thing. We really shouldn't be telling everyone we meet, but this year we wanted to make a firework potion of my name for when I try out for the Quidditch team... If we're allowed. If we're not, well, we'll do it in secrecy." Aaron put his finger to his lips to say, 'Let's keep this quiet.'

:: "My brother is a Radiologist and my two older sisters are both Meteorologists." Adzuki stated trying to sound like she could completely relate to Mystic.

"I've got seven older siblings. They all have -ist jobs. One of my sisters who's a meteorologist actually gets to be in front of the camera and does weather for WTAF channel four back home. Errr... I hate rain." She stuffed the rest of her soft roll into her mouth to stop herself from rambling on about everyone in her family.

"Haaaraammcaffcafffff." She coughed, some of the roll was making her choke. Luckily, after she coughed she was fine, but her eyes were watering. ::

April had returned to eating her food contentedly and vaguely listening in on the chatter of other people. She couldn't help but notice that people were a lot more childish than she had expected, but all she had to go off was herself, her brother and the kids back home. They were more like troublemakers or just malcontents. April personally wasn't very 'childish' so to speak, she hadn't grown up that way. Biting into a chocolate muffin, she wondered when they'd be going to the dorms. She was excited to know what the Slytherin Common Room would be like.

Haha, how wise he was. Grace as well knew she shouldn't have eaten much chocolate, but it was chocolate! Her love forever. "I ate too much on the train and my body reacted. When I ate a little more, it relapsed. Normally I'm not this allergic, don't worry. You won't be seen with a total red creature." she said coolly.

"Oh... But um..." she replayed what Aaron'd said in her brain. If it was for his Quidditch, then it'd be outside, in the pitch. Then what secrecy would there be? She finally decided to ask this. "If it's for your Quidditch, then it'll be outside, in the pitch. Did I get that right?

Aaron wasn't clear enough. "What I meant was, if we're allowed, then we'd do it for Quidditch, but if not, then we'd do it somewhere else." Aaron smiled, "Sorry, I wasn't clear enough."

Looking down at her hand again, he gives a sympathetic look. "It's hurting again then." glancing up at the staff table he adds "I sure hope so. It seems to be getting late, I wonder how much longer..."

Grinning to himself, he nods "Shall we plan for the two of us to go exploring tomorrow then?"

Grace again paused. "Where will it be then?" was her first question, followed by "And when will the selection be?"

Aaron had no answer to both of these questions. "No idea, and no idea." Hmmm... This girl sure had a lot of questions about their potion. Aaron wanted to get off the subject of possible illeagal potion making.

"So, you're allergic to chocolate?" Aaron hoped this could do it.

Grace smiled. "Leaving it to the flow then? Alright..." Answering to his next question she said "Yes, obviously. Are you allergic to anything?"

"Not that I know of," Aaron said. he tried to rack his brain of anything he was allergic to, but he couldn't think of anything. Way to change the subject, Aaron. Good job. He had changed the subject to something he couldn't talk about, nice.

"So why did you eat the chocolate if you knew you would react to it like this?" Aaron was still curios why she did.

"I've heard that prefect boy say that once the Headmaster gives his speech, we are able to head to the common rooms and such." Leticia flexed her fingers to make sure they were still working.

"I suppose so. Where would you like to go first? On the grounds?" Lettie said and helped herself to some more juice, pouring it awkwardly into her goblet because she could only use one hand to lift the pitcher. "Oops!" A bit of juice splashed out and started to trail down the table a little bit. She grabbed a napkin and cleaned up the mess. "Stupid hand, as if I'm not uncoordinated enough."
