Livvy rolled her eyes. No duh she was a girl. What else was she? A boy? A frog? An elephant? "Okay... okay.. calm down. I think you should tell her of course. But... things might get to awkward and then you can't even be friends. But you should still tell her how you feel. And a present is always nice.. but it won't be my fault if Plymouth hunts you down. Giving a present and pronouncing your "love" for his girl isn't the brightest of ideas." She could just imagine poor Barry getting pummeled by Plymouth. "If you're going to tell her.. I say soon."

"I`ll let her choose, if she wants me or him, so if it turns out not how I expected it to we can uh try to be freinds" he said, it was going to be difficult no doubt but what other choice did he have? "I`m not worried about Plymouth, hes nothing compared to Celas brothers and Nicos spys around school," it was true Plymouth was a dumb ravenclaw, perhaps sweet and Nico a smart seventh year "Soon, when it snows yes and it should be not long from now," he smilled as he saw the snow start falling "But Livvy tell me about Plymouth and any other admirirs Cela has. And please try not to be nosy!"

Livvy nodded her head and gave him a sympathizing smile. Love was a fickle and troublesome thing. It was best for you not to deal with it period. It wasn't her thing. But things could go well with Cela and Barry. Who knew? "Yes.. that is a good plan. Just confess and let her choose," she said, agreeing. Livvy chuckled. Nico. She had interviewed him one time for the yearbook. That troublesome rascal. But he was quite funny. "Aw... Nico. Yes. Plymouth is a flea compared to Nico," Livvy said, snickering. "Hey. Whaddya know? It's snowing. It's a sign," she said, elbowing Barry. Hint, hint. "Will do. And I don't know about the nosy part. It comes with the package!"

"One last thing, do you think I should give her beatifying products or do you think it will offend her?" he asked the question and looked outside, " Good thing were here, I can order the presents now"

Livvy chortled at his. "Beautifying products?" she asked, laughing at this. Silly boy. That was quite funny. A guy NEVER gives a girl beautifying products.. unless it was like jinxed or something. "Yeah.. don't. Girls hate it when someone suggests them to use different 'beautifying' products," she said, grinning.

"Er ok I thought they loved using it" he said and so he jot down a number of presents, most of it was just candy but for a few freinds it was a bit more like for Cela he ordered wizards weasley products. And then he attatched the long list to the owl and watched it fly off "There it shouldn`t take more then a day to arrive" and now he stood there and tried to think of how he was going to do this, a hug maybe? or even...a kiss? Then looking at Livvy he said "Are you going to stalk me?" he wasn`t really asking it was more of a joke.

Livvy stuck out her tongue and made a disgusted look. "Depends on who you're talking about here. I personally don't think there's any point in polluting your face with all that gunk," she said, shaking her head. Icky. Livvy raised an eyebrow at his question. "Only if you want me to," she said, smirking.

"No you`ll just make it more Awkward" said Barry sharply as she asked "Sorry" he added. "Now thats done with, whats up with Copernicus?" he asked, might as well kill some time.

Livvy snorted and rolled her eyes. "You're one weird boy," she commented. She knew a lot of weird boys. This was the year of the weird ones then. Livvy's lips curled into a grin. "Thought you'd never ask," she said sweetly. "Though he'll never admit it, he likes Cela too. You've got competition here Barry."

"You just don`t know boys" said Barry quitely. Then what she said struck him"WHAT? " he exclaimed "I thought he was into you! Just another reason to hurrey up and uh does anyone else like her?" he asked demandingly

Livvy snorted and shook her head. "You have no idea how well I understand them," she said. She had been living with five of them for her entire life. They had been close enough for her to understand them. Livvy jumped. "What?" she asked, but Barry continued. "Copernicus? Into me? Puh-lease.. it was obvious from the beginning. Couldn't you tell from the day we met? You know.. when we were talking about how he looked sick and all. And no.. I don't know.. but I could look that up for you," Livvy said cheerfully.

"I thought he was acting that way because he was into you!" he exclaimed "If it works out I don`t want to know" he said and then watched in awe as about 20 birds flew into the owlery and dumped packages on him "Darn it how am I supposed to carry these back to the common room? A little help please?" he asked scooping up Celas, Livvys , Copernicus amd Plymouths gift, all the big ones, the rest were just tiny little boxes full of sweets.

Livvy snorted. "Naw... you've been reading the wrong information then. We're only friends. He's into Cela, for sure! They were practically sitting on top of each other that day! I'm not quite sure why neither of them left the seat to sit on the couch," she said, shaking her head, thoughtfully. Then twenty packages were dropped onto Barry, one by one. "Oooh.. smooth. That was rather quick," she said, grinning. "Oh.. Of course. Of course. Where are my manners?" Livvy said, as she began scooping up the packages.

Barry smilled to Livvy and left with the 4 he carried and left for the common room and hoped that Livvy would follow.

Tamzin sighed and replaced her shoes after losing one on the stairs to the owlery. After running the rest of the way her feet were prety tired and the one that didnt have a shoe on resulted in a sore foot and a blister to come. She sighed and took out the parchment she had rolled up in her hand and tugged at one end causing it to unravel in her hands. looking around to see if someone had left a quill she smiled as she clocked one near her own owl pixie.

"Hey Pix." She smiled and stroked the fluffy ball infront of her. She took the quill in her hand and began to scrawl on the paper, a letter to her mum was what needed to be sent really.

with a smiled she tied the newly rolled up parchment to pixies ankle with a piece of pink ribbon like normal and gave her beak a kiss. "take it to mother yes? you can have a treat when you get back." she smiled and watched her owl fly out of the tower and across the hogwarts ground. with one more smile at the distant owl tamzin took in a breath of the fresh air and headed back down the stairs taking her shoes off first. so she didnt fall and look silly.

Amelia walked in with Amanda, and then sank to the floor as her friend went off to find an owl. She whistle a few notes, and extended her arm. A few seconds later, a large twany owl landed on her arm. "'Lo, Artemis," she said quitely, not wanting to break the stillness that was the owlery silence. She put her head back and started humming that song from that day in the Bamboo Forest, the one she'd been itching to compose since.

Amanda walked over to where Amelia sat on the Owlery floor, and slid down next to her. "Hello, Artemis," she said quietly to her friend's owl. "So what are your plans for the holidays?" she asked her friend softly, listening to her hum the song from the Bamboo Forest.

Artemis fluttered into Amanda's arm. She was comfertable with this kind human, as much as she was with her own.

Amelia sighed. "I'm really not sure. I think Jaquline wants me to come home, but I don't know if its going to happen. I really miss her, and i think she misses me too, but she's very busy with work right now." She turned her head to the side, looking at Amanda, without moving the rest of her body. "What about you?"

Amanda sighed. "I'm not really sure. I've been writing to Max, he said he might be coming home. Mum said Lauren was talking about coming home too. So I may be going home, but I'm not sure who's going to be there," she said wistfully, thinking of past Christmases, when everyone, excluding her father, had been present. It had been almost 2 years. "Oh, and Mum said that you're always welcome at our house, if nothing works out with Jaquline," she added, remembering her mother's pestering about Amelia's holiday plans.

"Awww, Maxie!" Amelia grinned. She was forever making fun of him. He was so soft. She was made of far harder stuff, and she always teased him about it. "Hey, does he still like Jaquline?" She asked. "Wasn't he always fumbling around her over the summer?" She laughed. "Never got to courage to ask her, poor boy. You know, i think she broke up with Jon a few weeks ago!" She grinned. "We should get them together! You know I'll end up coming to your house, whatever happens. After all, Jaquline is good friends with Lauren."

Amanda laughed at the memories of her eldest brother. He was so much fun to be with. "Yea, I think he does. But last time I talked to him, he had this new girlfriend. I think her name was Mariana," she said thoughtfully, trying in vain to remember what her brother's last letter had said. "And of course you'll be coming over, Mum just wanted me to tell you."

"Sweet," she said. "You know, we should try and spend Christmas eve over your house. That way we won't be bored all by ourselves. Kirra can't come down, she never does." Amelia paused to think. "Would your mum be ok with that? If Jaquilne and i stayed over?"

Amanda rolled her eyes. "She'd be thrilled, you know that. Any excuse for more people and more cooking...you know how she loves to cook. She loves company, too, as it's just her and Jenn there usually," she said. "When Jenn replies to my present, which I know she will coz Mum will make her, I'll just tell Mum you'll be coming," Amanda said easily.

"I'll write Jaquline now," Amelia said. "if thats ok." She pulled out a spare bit of parchment and scribbled:

Artemis heard Amelia's call and flew from Amanda's shoulder to Amelia's wrist. She waited patiently as her human tied a letter to her leg, and then heard her whisper "Jaquline." Knowing to go to the London Flat, she pushed off Amelia's arm and spiraled off into the sky.

Natka entered the Owlery, her wand in one hand while her other fidgeted nervously with the lock hidden in the pocket of her robes. She hadn’t the slightest idea what she could practice the unlocking Charm on, and she had subconsciously come here.

Grinning to herself as a sudden idea struck her, Natka walked slowly along the aisles bordered with all kinds of owls, looking for a suitable place. Ah, this would do…

“Hey there, Tawny,” she crooned to her beady-eyed tawny owl which stared back at her unblinkingly. Stroking its feathers softly, she withdrew the lock. “No, I’m not here to send a letter, at least not at the moment. Don’t worry, I’m just doing my homework.”

The owl cocked its head at her, eyeing the lock in her hand curiously while Natka attached it around the bird’s perch, next to its scaly leg.

“If you could move over a bit…” she nudged the soft feathers lightly and the owl obediently scooted along slightly. When she was sure that the Charm would not touch the animal in any way, Natka took a step backwards and took out her wand.

“Alohomora!” she whispered, pointing her wand at the lock. She ignored the looks of curiosity she was now receiving from birds on neighboring perches, focusing all her attention on the Charm and on performing it correctly, hoping that it would work…

And it did! There it was, the lock, now hanging open from the perch.

“Brilliant,” Natka breathed to herself, pocketing the shining object once more. She took out some treats from her other pocket, offering them to her owl with a smile.

“There you go, thank you,” she smiled, stroking its feathers one more time before dancing happily out of the Owlery.
