While Meredith listened to what Shana said, she saw Via coming up the stairs. She looked a bit tired, she'd probably run up all the way from the bottem of the stairs, it was a high tower. Meredith hoped to catch her eye, and waved at her, but she wasn't sure if Via had seen her.
"Hm, I don't think so. I still had it yesterday after class." She smiled when she realised that they had something in common. "I take a book around with me most of the time too, the book I'm looking for was what I took with me yesterday.. and now I can't find it anymore." She should've paid more attention to where she left her things. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Now she had to search through the whole castle!
"What year are you in?" she asked, curiously. The girl looked like a first or second year and she was pretty sure she hadn't seen her around last year, but then you never knew, some people where long and others short, and she didn't know a lot of people.

"Oh babe I know, you don't have to tell me twice." She almsot snorted at her carry on, it seemed to be only with Cayden and Gabben that she was like this. Nicholai and Mads, would probably slap her senseless if they saw her like this. "Following my lead huh? Well I promise not to get you lost" she snickered softly. Kayla leaned back as he started poking his finger at her, "I'm always here, just so long as you know that." She shrugged her shoulders, "nothing I just feel like having a giggle."

"If you ever lost your memory or you had a memory charm put on you i would." Yep he would have too. he eyed her as he spoke seriously," Thats what you said about the pandas. I havent seen one yet." he looked all shifty like as he grinned a little. He always could act like a fool around her."I know. Thanks." Just having a giggle."what does that mean? Having a giggle?" he hadnt heard this one before.

Maddox was walking down the hall, out of boredom. He had finished all of his homework already and decided he wanted to take a little walk. Exploring the castle was always fun, but at the moment...he was still bored.


Then hearing a familiar voice, he looked around to find it. He grinned hugely when he saw Kayla. It had been a couple days since he saw her last. He slowly walked up on her, and some slytherin guy. "Hello Kayla! Fancy meeting you here." He grinned.

"Oh are you saying that you would put a memory charm on me Cayden?" yeah she would like to see him try. "You and those bloody pandas, I wih I had never brought them up" Kayla moved forward and poked him in the ribs. "What's wrong with having a giggle at nothing, I bet I can make you giggle" she proceed to start tickling him.

Kayla stopped mid tickle on Cayden, when she heard Maddox's voice and she turned with a slight blush on her cheeks and she dropped her hands quickly. "Maddox" she squealed hoping to take the focus off her tickling. Kayla wrapped her arms around the tall hawt looking Huffie and gave him a hug. "What are you doing up here?"

"I could. I didnt say i would, but if i was going to wipe your memory i wouldnt be over something that small." he snickered as she went on about the pandas." Why. And miss all this fun i have with you and your commentary." he tried to dodge her as she started to poke him."Owe. what are you doing? Your suppose to love me not torture me again." he smiled a little, but he hadnt laughed yet. He watched her stop as he turned to see another person coming up to kayla. he snickered a little as she pretty much tackled him. He wondered if she did that to everyone.he stuck his hands into his pockets as he waited for her to be done.

Maddox smiled as Kayla gave him a huge hug. He always enjoyed her enthusiasim when she saw him. But he didnt like what he saw between This guy and Kayla. Why was she tickling him? He wrapped his arm around her waist and raised his left eyebrow, while pursing his lips a bit. This was his, 'what the crap is going on here,' look. "Nothing just thought i would explore the castle a bit and here i find my best friend and a new person I have never meet before." He turned to the guy and said, "Hello. I am Maddox Darcy, best friend and bodyguard of this here prefect." He said excentuating the word bodyguard, while mussing Kayla's hair a bit.

"Oh you so could not" she poked her tongue out at him. "I don't really know that much about pandas, so it would be boring commentary I'm afraid. Kayla cleared her throat a little when Maddox arrived and she looked between the two. She gave Cayden a faint smile.

Oh dear, she knew that look and she felt like a six year old who had gotten her hand caught in the cookie jar. Kayla groaned inwardly at Maddox's introduction. "Maddox, this is Cayden Blood a very good friend of mine. He's been keeping me company when I have been a little lonely and you know he cheers me up" she gave Maddox, a look that clearly said 'there is nothing going on here.'

Cayden looked at the boy as he introduced himself. As a body guard to kayla! Oh gesh. if he hadnt just met the person he would probably be laughing at the moment. Like kayla needed a body guard. He offered his hand to maddox as he gave him a smile." Cayden Blood. Nice to meet you. I've heard about you already." he added as he hoped they would be good friends. It would be a little difficult if they werent."that would be me." he raised his hand a little when she gave him an introduction." entertainer by day, Panda watcher by night." he teased.

Maddox raised his left eyebrow, not only because she gave him the 'shut up nothing is happening look,' but also because this guy cheers her up. He realized it was silly to think he didnt cheer her up, but thats what it felt like she was insinuating. He didnt say anything about it though. "Well it's nice to meet you. Panda watcher, aye? Thats interesing." He said with a fake smile. He then turned to kayla and said, "Well I'm glad someone can cheer you up when your lonely." A hint of sadness in his eyes, but he smiled anyways.

Kayla stood rocking back and forth on her feet as she looked between the two boys that had become her very close friends and she really hoped that they too would bee friends. She burst out laughing as Cayden, introduced himself as a panda watcher. "Ahem yes but not a very good one" she teased giving him a wink and then remembering Maddox was there.

The smile slipped from Kayla's face at the look in Maddox's eyes. "Oh no Mads, I didn't mean it like that. You always cheer me up as well and you know I love you to bits. It's...just that Cayden, has been around more than you have" she added softly. "And I know you have your own life to live, so it's okay you know" she shrugged.

Mariska came around the corner on the seventh floor, no destination in particular on her mind when she saw the weirdest little group she could have imagined. Maddox Darcy, Kayla Winers and Cayden. Well, she was at least going to say hello to Cayden she wasn't quite so sure about the others. She came up to them, standing close to Cayden. " Fancy seeing you here." She said, smiling a bit and taking Cayden's hand in hers while she looked over at Kayla and Maddox.

"My pleasure to meet you." He smiled at him as he knew when someone was being forced to be nice. he knew cause he had to do it often at home."Yeah. its an inside joke." he told him as he gave him a small smile.He heard his comment as he was going to stay out of that one. he stood there as he waited for their little conversation to get over.

"what?! Im a brilliant one. You just scare them all away. At least you say their is pandas around this place. you say so, but i have little faith in it." he smiled at her as she winked at him. At least they could be this way around other people. Oh and then their went that awkwardness again.he listened to her as he then added,"Yeah. I dont really have one." he was trying to help.

He heard a familar voice as he felt her hand in his. Wow. this was going to be one big bundle of awkwardness. "Yeah. I just came from the room of requirements. Kayla beat me up with..."probably not a good things to say."how are you?" he asked her as he leaned in to give her a kiss." Oh Hey this is Maddox. Maddox this is Mari. She is...My girlfriend." He should probably ask her to make it official.

At least Cayden was being friendly and she let out a breath that she hadn't realised she had been holding. "I do not scare them away Cayden, they just don't like your fedora" she teased and poking her tongue out. "And they are in there I promise, we will see one before the year is out" she vowed and then let out a giggle which died on her lips when she heard her voice. Kayla froze and watched as she put her hand in Cayden's and she gritted her teeth. Immediately she grabbed on to Maddox for support. "Mari" Kayla said through clenched teeth and she pointedly looked away when he kissed her. Girlfriend? Since when? Kayla cleared her throat and looked back at the two. "Well you make a lovely couple" she lied.

Mariska gave Cayden a strange look as he began explaining himself, and then she shrugged as he inquired after her. " I'm good," she said, returning the quick kiss. She looked at Maddox and nodded. " Nice to really meet you," she said with a little smile as she realized that Cayden had called her his girlfriend. For once, she didn't mind being labeled as someone's...someone. It was strange but very good indeed.
Mari turned to Kayla as she said hello, or rather just stated her rather short and terse compliment. " Thanks, Kayla." She said, smiling at the other girl. She didnt' know what else to say so she just waited for someone else to say something.

"Whatever it wasnt my fedora. It was your crazy talk. You scared them away." he moved to stick his tongue out at her. They were almost as bad as siblings sometimes."Im sure we will. You'll make one up with a charm just to prove it." And then their went their fun. At least she was some what playing nice. He really couldnt ask very much of her. he broke out into a laugh as she said they made a great couple."Okay. Maddox you might want to check her head. She has a fever." he teased as he then moved to put his fedora on her head." Scare everyone away so you dont give them the fever. Works on the pandas apprently."

"Great." he told her as he was glad to hear she was having a good day. Good days were good. Besides the obvious bit about the goodness. Anyway. He listened to mari as she thanked kayla for her comment. Here came the awkwardness again. he stood there for a second as he held mari's hand. This was exciting."So um...How about those Hungarians? Awesome quidditch match?" he asked as he tried to break the ice that had just froze over.

Kayla looked at Mari for a moment and really she couldn't be bothered to reply to her. She looked between the two for a moment and it really peeved her that Mari was once again, with a boy that Kayla was close to. She was almost going to drag Maddox, away before any drama started and then decided against it. She had been here with Cayden, first and she wasn't planning on going anywhere in fact it was time for a little game playing.

"Oh please Cayden, they took one look at you and scampered" she tossed him a wink. "What can I say babe charms are definitely my thing" Kayla had forgotten for a moment that Maddox was there, she was intent on flirting with Cayden right in front of his 'girlfriend.' When he moved forward to place the fedora on her head, Kayla grabbed his hand. "But wouldn't you like to catch my fever Cayden?" she asked quietly and then stood on tip toe and whispered in his ear. "There's nothing wrong with me I'm just a good liar when I want to be" she pulled away from him and smirked.

Jack strolled down the corridor with his wand ready, he wasn't taking any chances

Ruby was walking along the 7th floor corridor when she spotted Jack she felt her cheeks flair up and she shouted "YOU" she had her wand behind her back and she had done since she had left the DADA classroom she smirked at her badge this was a blessing in a disguise she quickly whipped her wand and shouted the Canary Transfigeration Hex perfectly at him.

Daniel was walking towards the common room, wand at the ready. I hope no one will see me...he thought. Then he heard foot steps. He slowed down and walked silently, I hope the protection spells still works he sighed again.

When he saw a Hufflepuff. He stopped and made himself ready before pointing his wand to the unsuspecting prey. He made a loop with his wand and shouted, IM-PE-DI-MEN-TA.

Without looking back of what happened, he ran away before anybody could see him.

Jack instantly turned around "Me" he replied "Protego" he deflected the spell, he wasn't going to fight back though, no way.

Ruby noticed he didn't send a spell back and that didn't stop her she sent him the finger removing jinx perfectly and then she said "fight back Jack! you weren't afraid to hurt Sakura......oh i mean break her wrist"

Daniel ran towards the common room. He heard some voices but he didn't bother looking back. He ran and ran until he approached the fat lady, muttered the password and then entered.

Jack sighed "Protego" he cast as the spell bounced off again "I am not fighting back, I don't want to hurt you" Jack told her calmly

Ruby looked at Jack and lowered her wand a few centemeters and said "who am i?" she had a feeling this wan't Jack Moiser and she had read about the Imperio curse
