Qaz peeked out of the Common Room to make sure the coast was clear and then headed down to the Great Hall to see what, if anything, was going on.

Ana was walking through the corridor exploring the castle, with all the homeworks she didn't have the time to and trying to forget the recent events. Her hand in the pocket ready to take the wand. This two DADA assignments were making her nerves even worse but she liked the adrenaline.

Alessia ran out from her hiding spot and set a toe jam hex to the girl with the hufflepuff DADA badge. She then squealed in delight waiting for the hex to hit or be blocked.

Ed Forrester left the classroom in time to witness a professor hex a student. "Is all going well? Have the disciplines changed in the school?" he looked around, a bit confused.

"Professor Forrester..." ok... he was an old man... but RAWR nonetheless... "Just having a little fun with the DADA homework... Professor Kazimeriz is having some "Dark Artists" hex some of the students on a list... WANNA PLAY?" She asked jumping up and down.

"No no no, not Professor Forrester. Call me Ed, or Edward, whichever you prefer." He told her with a smile, and the charm turned on.

"Are there certain spells we're allowed to use, or is it a free for all?"

"I think it's 'use your own judgement' uhmmmm" Ooooo Ed... Edward... "Eddie!" She said and bounced up and down... "Here's the list of students..." she said handing him the parchment... "I've got them memorized... They're supposed to block them. Be on alert for any hexes their way."

Ed looked over the list and nodded, "Sounds like fun," he grinned at Less. Then shot a second hex at the other student (Torchwood) before them, who said they couldn't gang up on the kids?

Qaz was on her way back to the Common Room when she heard two of her Professors talking about the DADA assignment....good thing she always had her wand in her hand these days...

'Protego!' with the tight flick, as the Ancient One had instructed. A nice little shield, indeed. 'Thanks Professor Forrester...and nice lesson..great subject!' She said with a huge smile. He's just so darned cute!

"AHHHHHHH!!" Ana jumped something like 5cm. If the hex doesn't kill her the shock certainly will.
Automatically Ana took of her wand and shouted "Protego!" and a blue shield formed protecting her from the hex. For the first time the shield didn't vanish after been hit!

With her heart still accelerated she looked around to see the 'dark wizard'.

"Yaaaaay!!! You did great!" she said to the little Huffie.

"Oooo Eddie that was AWESOME! Let's go stalk other floors!" She said holding his arm and jumping up and down. "C'monC'mon!"

He grinned at the lady on his arm, "Yes, let's," he agreed as he escorted her to the stairs.

"Thanks!... and thanks for helping me with homework." she smiled

Anna headed out the portrait hole and into the seventh floor corridor. She'd just felt the need to have a little change of atmosphere, so she'd decided to take a little walk. Maybe some of her friends would be out and about, too, and she'd find some company to walk with and talk to. It's too bad she couldn't find Cale anywhere in the Common Room. It would have been nice to take this little walk with him. After all, their days of taking little walks around the castle were sadly numbered.

Sighing, Anna continued down the corridor. She'd find someone to talk to sooner or later. As predicted, it didn't take Anna to spot three of her friends, Reese, Cam, and Whitney standing around in the corridor. Smiling, she walked right up to them. "Hey, guys. What's going on?" she asked. Anna was in an excellent mood. It was Christmas time and, well, who in their right mind isn't in a good mood during this time of the year? Oh, yeah...Scrooge Well, boo to him!

Cam looked at his trunk and then straight forward while continuing to carry it when he heard his name again at the other side of the corridor. Turning around and stopping his walking, he noticed Lemur. Oh LemurWoman was here, that was awesome. Carrying the trunk with one hand now, he waved at her and then back to Reese who he had greeted just now.

Well his plan was to really give all of it much, much later but it was probably the perfect time now, right? "Hiiii LemurWoman. How's you?" Right beside him he looked at Reese who was eying his jacket. Was she, possibly, jealous? If only you could hide a jacket, but in this situation he couldn't or else he would freeze.

"I know, I know. It's an awesome jacket, I bought it at a 99₵ store back in the muggle world. You likey?"

He didn't feel the need to ask the question, most people just opened their mouths when they saw his jacket. And he guessed that they did it in shock of how amazing and wonderful it was. That was probably it. Cam remembered about the spider thingy. Hopefully she had some amnesia problems or took her medication after that battle.

"Yeah I know you overreact--OHH," he nervously said and while speaking his sentence, forgot that this was nice time. He was obviously not going to say "yeah I know you overreacted, did'ja take your medicine yet" or "pffft, yeah ya better say sorry". But luckily he was smart today and knew how to deal with it. "Oh sure, um... you too."

Then in an instant, Whitney came and he could only try to make his smile into a grin. Was it like some odd coincidence that most people on his good list was here? There were no mean or bad people so it was all doing fiiine. "Hey Whit," he greeted, "Call me Santa or something for today since I got a lotta gifts I got fer you all!"

They were all so creative too.

And then to make his day just about right, another person on his well-behaved list came to join them. OMG, she's purdy today. Was it her blinding beauty, her Gryffindor bravery, or just because she was Anna was the fact that he had a secret crush on her. But no one knew that. No one SHOULD know that.

As a believer of cooties and such, he shouldn't have been liking this girl. It was nonsense. But could he stop it, really? Anna was irresistible and Cam couldn't just ignore that.

"Ho-ho-ho Anna!" He glanced at everyone else and smiled. "It's Christmas. That means lots and lots of giiifts!"

But when he talked to Anna, there was much difference in his voice. Like kinder and gentler.

First years had crushes too.

"Yeeeeeeah,that's just a lovely jacket,Cam.I'm sooooo jealous,"Reese told Cam.She had to fight the urge NOT to roll her eyes.That jacket was pathetic.He looked like a fisherman...

"Ohmygosh,Cammmm,"Reese said."I got you a present...or two."She pulled out two boxes from her bag and handed them to Cam.One box held a stuffed animal.The other one held a toy troll. "I know you're going to love them." She smiled.

When Anna came up,Reese noticed the sense of change in his voice.Nice and sweet?What was up with him?She raised her eyebrow then looked at Anna.

"WHITTTTTT,"Reese said when Whitney ran over to them.She hugged her back when she pulled everyone into a group hug. "How have you been?I haven't see you in...a day or so." She looked down at her back and then back at Whitney. "I have some Christmas presents for you,"she told her. She pulled out a box and handed it to Whitney. Inside the box head a best friend necklace. One was suppose to go to Reese and the other to Whitney.

" Reese heard a familiar voice approach the group and she turned around and smiled. "Anna!"she exclaimed.
"I haaaaave something for you.I just can't wait to give it to yooooou." She sat her bag,that was full of presents, on the ground. She pulled out one big box and handed it to Anna. the box held a crown and necklace. "I hope you like them."

"Hey, Reese," she said smiling. "Not much here, but I got your gift for you." Smiling, she reached into her purse and pulled out the package wrapped in green wrapping paper. "I hope you like it."

And suddenly she was being grabbed in a hug. "Heey, Whit!" she said giggling as she hugged the girl back before letting go. It was cute how she was excited even though they had met up only days before.

"We're handing out our gifts. And look, I got yours for you here." She reached into her purse again and pulled out a package wrapped in orange wrapping paper. "Hope you like it," she said smiling.

And then Anna showed up. "Hey!" she said smiling to the Prefect who she hadn't seen since last Term. "we're in a gift swap. What you up to?"

She felt a bit bad that she didn't have anything for her. But she had no ideas yet. Besides, there was still a little time before Christmas. Hmm.

She sighed as he called her LemurWoman and became greatly tempted to tell him that she had forgot his present in her Common Room. But that would have been mean and a lie. And besides, she wanted to give him his special present. More of a joke than anything, really..

"I'm good, how are you, Cam?" she said reaching into her purse and pulling out a package done in red wrapping paper. "I hope it's to your tastes." He was weird enough that it probably would be..

"Anna!" she exclaimed,pulling her into a hug. It'd been quite a while since she'd last seen her. Since the feast actually. "Guess what!" Whit pulled out the first gift,which was,obviously,Anna's. "I hope you like it!" This was a great way to start off a "reunion" with someone. Hug them and hand them a gift. A very nice gift at that.
Call him Santa? "Okay,if you insist. So Santa....I have something for you." she said with a small smirk. From their first meeting Whit remembered several of Cam's favorites. One being his present She really hoped he would like it. While they didn't know each other too much,anyone who had the guts to call Reese Peter Pan deserved a gift. Also,she had made sure to get the cute ones that were made in shapes,perhaps he'd like those even more than the regular ones.
She always loved meeting up with Reese. The girl was always so excited to see her,it made her feel loved. "Miss me much?" she said with a huge grin. "I have been....cold." Laughing at this,she found saying that ironic. She seemed to complain about being cold a lot but would much rather be freezing cold than steaming hot. "Yes,only a day." Laughing again she couldn't help but be grateful for Reese running into her in the Bamboo Forest. "How have you been though?" Enough about Whit,more about her. "Oh so do I!" Pulling out the basket containing her gift. This was also from their first meeting. While the convo had been a bit odd at first,she was happy to have had it,or else she wouldn't know whether or not Reese would like the gift.

"Oooo!" she said with a giggle,and while handing over Reese's gift,she grabber hers from her. Opening the box,Whit say the cutest most adorable gift. "Aww!!" The best friends necklace was just too nice. While she'd given one to someone before,not once had she ever recieved one. Thinking back on it,that seemed rather sad. 'Oh well I have one now.' "Thank you so so so so much!" Automatically she moved to put it on but didn't know which one Reese would want. "So are you a best...or a friend?" she asked with a smile. 'Yay!'

'Lima's turn!' Whit was going to have fun with this one,for a bit anyways. While her gifts were exactly big,she found one of them funny and then she just thought she'd like the other. "Sounds like fun." she told her with a huge grin. Just as Lima pulled out her gift for Whit,she pulled hers out for Lima. "Ta da!" It was rather Christmasy if she did say so herself.

Still smirking,Whit gently grabbed her gift and shook it. It went "squish" "Do I have to unwrap it? It's so....ORANGE!" Only joking of course,she pulled off the orange wrapping paper,making sure it didn't rip. She was going to keep that. Once it was all off she saw that is was..."NEMO!!!!!!!"Although she yelled this,she made sure not to be too loud. Didn't want to get in trouble. Not able to help it,she jumped up and down several times and then literally glomped Lima. "How did you know?" Finding Nemo was her most movie ever

Pulling herself together she pulled out Lima's other gift The real gift,especially if she didn't like the first one. That had been something her mother had had her read when she was younger,and seeing as she liked it so much and she and Lima were so close,Whit assumed she'd like it too. "I hope you like it.This is the real gift,but you can keep the other one too."

"Oh,you got me a gift?"Reese said,a hint of excitment in voice.When Lima ahnded her the present,she ripped the paper off the box and pulled out a picture.She turned it over and her mouth dropped open. "It's...Miles?" She stared at the picture. "How the heck did you get this?" She looked up at Lima and smiled. "I love it!" She went over and hugged Lima. When she let go,she said, "I have a present for yooooou." She pulled a box out of her bag and handed it to Lima. Inside the box held a stuffed animal.

"Yeeeeah,Just a little bit,"Reese said with a smile. "Yes,it has been quite cold lately." She looked out the window the was nearby then looked back at Whitney. "Just a day?Geeez,it feels like it's been a week." She grinned. "Oh,I've been just doing homework and stuff.Trying to earn points.Slytherin needs to get out of LAST PLACE." She crossed her arms. It was horrible that her house was in last place. Maybe a miracle will happen and Slytherin will won.

She took the present from Whitney and looked inside of it. "CHOCOLATE!"she exclaimed. "It's wonderful.Thanks so much." She looked at Whitney and smiled. "I love chocolate!"

"Oh,it's no problem.I tried to find a necklace that said 'Slytherin Gangsters',but I couldn't find one,"Reese said with a shrug. "I don't care.What do you want to be:Friend or Best?It's your present,you choose first."

Plymouth strolled along the hallway on the way to the Common Room. He wasn't in much of a hurry and he was pretty caught up on Homework... so no rush. Just moseying and looking at the cracks in the walls, the pictures, touching most everything. He whistled along the way.

Copernicus came hurtling down the hall from the common room and nearly ran Plymouth right over. "Whoa." He put his hands up in a clear buffer between himself and Plymouth. No touching. "Oh. Plymouth. I... hey."

"Ohhh hey, hey, Brother with a Step. Let me show you my handshake me and CellBell made up." Since he was all close and all anyway, "Hands up high!" Plymouth's hands went above his head (the modified version since Copernicus was much taller than little Cela).

"I can't touch you," he put his hands behind his back. "I have to tell you something. Can you stop being so happy and cheerful for a second?"

Plymouth was left hanging with his hands in the air. Burn. Total Step-brother burn. Slowly, Plymouth lowered his hands. "Oookay. Hands down. Smile into a frown," Plymouth failed at this one, "and think of... dead swans. Got it. Totally bummed. What's up?" Plymouth laughed at Copernicus as he pocketed his 'un-high-fived' hands.

Copernicus reached out and shocked Plymouth with the tip of his finger. "There's a reason why I won't touch you," Copernicus put his head in his hands. "Listen... something happened. And..." He didn't know how to say this. "I'm really sorry, mate."
