Mari turned to Kayla as she said hello, or rather just stated her rather short and terse compliment. " Thanks, Kayla." She said, smiling at the other girl. She didnt' know what else to say so she just waited for someone else to say something.
Kayla looked at Mari for a moment and really she couldn't be bothered to reply to her. She looked between the two for a moment and it really peeved her that Mari was once again, with a boy that Kayla was close to. She was almost going to drag Maddox, away before any drama started and then decided against it. She had been here with Cayden, first and she wasn't planning on going anywhere in fact it was time for a little game playing.

"What can I say babe charms are definitely my thing" Kayla had forgotten for a moment that Maddox was there, she was intent on flirting with Cayden right in front of his 'girlfriend.' When he moved forward to place the fedora on her head, Kayla grabbed his hand. "But wouldn't you like to catch my fever Cayden?" she asked quietly and then stood on tip toe and whispered in his ear. "There's nothing wrong with me I'm just a good liar when I want to be" she pulled away from him and smirked.
