Come up to the door of Professor Dumont’s office and knock, the professor is usually in and is happy to talk to you about whatever you may have in mind, especially if it involves muggle studies.
As you walk through the door of Professor Dumont’s office, you are struck by the fact that at least part of this room appears not to be that magical at all, but looking rather like an office you might see on muggle television (had you ever had the chance to see muggle television, that is!) The main feature of the room is a very large wood desk with a nice comfortable chair behind it, a purple, cushiony chair. There are a couple chairs in front of the desk, which appears as though it may be oak, both these chairs are a dark green velvet, padded, and appear very comfortable as well. The rug on the floor is a forest green color, imprinted with a variety of flowers in many different colors, it is very relaxing and lovely, one of the prettiest rugs you could ever find. Professor Dumont inherited this rug from his family, it is an heirloom.
On the right hand wall you notice many photos calling to mind muggle entertainers. There are photos of various muggle rock bands from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin (it turns out that Professor Dumont loves this type of music). There are pictures of Elvis Presley as well, along with such muggle icons as Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, and many others.
On.the wall immediately behind the desk are some photos that are obviously personal. There are pictures of a very old castle with high pirouetting towers, this is Castle Dumont, Antonio’s family home. You gather that it is located somewhere in France, and you would be correct. You will also find many of the pictures that move and talk, wizarding pictures, there is a man and a woman in their 50’s, Professor Dumont’s parents. There is a new picture added this year, one which has a special place right over the Professor's desk. This picture is of a very pretty little girl, no more than 2 years old, with curly dark hair and a somewhat familiar look about her. You would be guessing correctly if you guessed that this is a picture of Professor Dumont's daughter, Antonia Michelle, who he has just become reunited with during the term break. But that's a whole other story, one you may or may not be lucky enough to hear (probably not!)
Along the left wall there is a long table which goes the length of the room. On this table are many muggle items to look at and perhaps even play with, including computers, video monitors that might even pick up muggle television (who knows?), video game systems, cell phones, iPods, skateboards, yoyos, Playdough, Legos, various board games, and a huge variety of books on all subjects. Your eyes fall on this table longingly, perhaps you might have the chance to play with some of these items yourself if you are very good some time, you never know! | |

Sakura walked quickly to Dumont's office. Her wrist was killing her, however there wasn't much she could do about that. Knocking twice on the door in quick succession she waited for Dumont to give her permission to enter his abode.

John who had been sat quietly, went into his bag and got a few pumkin juices out of it. He always carried them in his bag incase of an emergance and today seemed to be one of them days. He looked around the room and smiled. "Professor do you want a pumkin juice?" He then looked around the room "Sakura, Jack and Kaycee do you want one?" He hoped they would take one. He put a straw in his carton of Juice and started to drink some of it. "Professor do you want me to help explain things?"

"I doubt it. He really hates the place. I think the only way to get him to go would be blackmail and that would do nothing for his trust issues." Sakura smiled slightly at Cadence. "So are you friends with Spence?" She asked while rubbing her wrist. She really wished she had a potion to numb the pain. Unfortunately she didn't. Shivering slightly Sakura tried not to think about the reason why her wrist hurt in the first place. "Thank-you." She said to Cadence.

"Maybe we should all get our story straight, so that your prefect knows what's going on," he told Cadence, Jack and John. "I definitely think it's a good idea if you share with her a few of the things that have been happening. And Sakura, since you are involved in this, too, feel free to chime in at any point. But simply put, the twins have a problem which I've been trying to assist them with and, well, maybe it would be best if they tell the story."

The first thing that popped into Cadence's mind was "For what?" but then she realized she must mean for not drawing attention to her hurt wrist. Instead she just nodded. Yes, I'm friends with Spence. We're in the same dormitory together. She's a really lovely person. The fact that Sakura was engaging Cadence in small talk eased her fears of Saku not liking her. She returned Saku's smile most warmly.

"Yea she is, a little forgetful though. We met when trying to reassure a boy in our year in Ollivanders. It was too bad the way her mother raised her though. We found it a shame that she didn't know much about the wizarding world and so Ruby and I took it upon ourselves to try to help her, before the start of term."
Turning back to Jack she asked, "Are you sure that your okay?" Unfortunately when she turned she knocked her wrist and couldn't help but wince noticably in pain.

Cadence hadn't known this about Spence, they hadn't talked a whole lot what with Cadence's parents dying and Jack almost drowning. When Saku knocked her wrist into the wall, Cadence quickly tried to come up with a cover story, but she couldn't. Instead she tried to draw attention away from it... So, is someone going to explain what's going on? And what this missing piece of a letter is all about?

Sakura shrugged slightly, while keeping up playing with his hair, she was being as supportive as possible and as reassuring as possible, without telling everyone what happened as she could be.
