Tammy looked at Eva. "Yeah. What cha want me to do?" She questioned?

Not interrupting with questions Ella listened his story. Often she said, "oh..!" and "Cool..!" Once he finished with that, "Good. Apparantly you're in the right place at the end. " she smiled and asked more, "Do you like the decision then?"

He smiled at her question. "Yeah. I always loved visiting London and Wales growing up and living here will be great." he thought a minute. "What about you?"

Eva smiled.
"I'm just curious about something..." she started. The girl had noticed how close Tamzin and Jason were at her friend's surprise party. After the party, she had start wondering if there wasn't anything else beyond friendship between those two. "Tell me about you and Jason." she said with a chuckle.

"What about us? Matiees we are." She stated. Covering the obvious note she liked him.

"Tamzin. You're talking at me." Eva said, trying to keep a serious expression on her face but not be successful doing it. She was using the same she had used when she tald told Alyss lies didn't really work, because she had grown up with Slytherins. This wasn't exactly true: yes, she had grew with Slytherins - unaware of that fact - but she was naive. If someone told her a good lie, she'd fall.
"C'mon, tell me. There is more, I know it." she paused. "Right?"

"I dont know." She admitted. "I like him and all but I dont wnat to wreck anything. Hes still getting over Jamie."

Savannah giggled, nodding in agreement to that statement. "I think your right." Plus, the young girl was now a Hufflepuff, therefore making her part of the badger family. Seeing one of the first year's expression turn from awe, to horror-strickin Savannah felt confused as to why ever that could be, till she noticed the goblet of pumpkin juice she had taken a drink of. Was there something wrong with it? Odd.. "Are you okay?" Savannah asked, unsurely.

When was the Headmistress going to make her speech, eh? The sooner she spoke....the sooner the rest of the school would be open....and then she could go make some mischief....

Plop! Punz felt something land in her blond hair - a cherry? But what was this? She glanced to her left and right for the source and AHA! She spotted El, looking sneaky.

Zel could be sneaky too, yes she could. She reached forward and snagged a green little grape....took aim for the older Puff a few seats away...and called out, "Oh Ellllllllaaaaaaa......" as she launched the tiny little fruit right at her friend.

Sam jumped, he was a little in shock. The girl whose badge he was very surreptitiously attempting to read had talked to him? Had she found him out? Did she think he was weird? Sam turned putting on an air of confidence which he had held before she'd addressed him. He smirked, watching in amazement as she rattled on about butter or something that sounded like it. Good thing he was over the moon too, otherwise he might have been feeling more uncomfortable.

"Hi!" he returned grinning widely, a rare occurrence, or was it? Sam was smiling more than he used to, even when he was a carefree kid. "Butter? Well of course that's the most natural topic to talk about!" he said a tone of amusement that was designed not to offend in his voice, "Wish I'd been here!" Sam smirked and translated the rest of her sentence quickly in his mind. A glance down at her badge said it all. She was the new quidditch captain! Fancy that! "We will so dominate, Captain!" Sam smirked once again, wondering what her reaction would be to his last statement.

Emalyn swirled around and saw a girl of whom the voice had belonged to staring at her, with a curious expression. She looked much older than Emalyn, and she felt somewhat delighted that this older girl had bothered to talk to her. Some people didn't seem keen on talking to the younger students, especially not at the 'Green' table. Emalyn still did not have the names of the houses down pat except for Ravenclaw (because it was easy to remember) and Hufflepuff. "Oh yes, I've just never had any of---this, before..." she replied, indicating the goblet of juice. "But I um, assume you're used to it?"

Savannah's smile that had faded with concern returned as bright as ever, lighting up her gracious expression. She tried resisting a little laugh, but failed. She wasn't laughing at the girl, definitely not. Just at the fact she totally understood her reaction. Hers was probably something similar, her first year opening feast. "Pumpkin juice" She answered as the girl gestured to the liquid in her goblet. "By now, yes. But several years ago, no way" She chuckled, shaking her head lightly. Her family was a little more muggle-ish than wizardy at times, though she was half-blooded. "I'm Savannah Mae; A sixth year," Vannah introduced herself, "And welcome to Hufflepuff house, by the way."

"You like him!" the girl giggled. "Sorry." she looked around, realizing she might have speak too loud.
"Hum.. Jason had like... three or four girlfriends in.. five years?" she looked at her friend. "I'm not really a fan of him, but he seems cool." Eva didn't really know what to say. She only knew Jason's reputation... and had met once one of his girlfriends. She just did't want Tamzin to get hurt.

This time Garret did nothing to hide his long-suffering sigh as he turned to the girl again. He barely took in her offensive stance, thinking hard as he was about a way to not offend her. That was probably one of the biggest changes he'd undergone in the last few months. He never used to care if he offended one of their sex.

"If I'd wanted you to know..." he started with an apologetic smile, "I'd've said it aloud, ya know wot I mean?"

Hailey walked up to the hufflepuff table, with a shy little smirk on her face. This was her new house apparently, she looked around and everyone seemed to be in their own little conversations. Shyly she found herself an emty little spot to sit down. The joys of going to a brandnew school, well too a school in general. Her and her twin brother we always homeschooled, but Hailey was becoming to advansed, her mother couldn't keep up to both her brother and herself.

Thus, Hailey was send away to Hogwarts while her brother continued to get homeschooled. As Hailey sat down she looked around, and then spotted Dominic, the boy she met at the Leaky cauldron. "Hey Dominic!" Hailey said cheerfully, realising she already new someone from Hufflepuff.

She giggled. Pretzel knew how to cheer her up. "Oh, for sure! I have a feeling that Hogwarts will never be the same after this Term." She winked. She started to formulate ideas. "You bought out Weasley's Wizard Wheezies you say?" That was good. Very good.

She pinched his cheeks. "I'm not that bad... Thanks a lot. And you may have more manicures this Term," she added mischievously. "Pretzel's managed to get me to cave and try out for the Team." She smiled.

When he poked her she muttered, "But I don't want to get up yet." Then she nestled into him more and fell further asleep.

Dominic was attempting to refrain from laughing and busting a gut at the boy's reply to the nosy girl. She seemed sincere enough, but at the same time, she still had that girl factor against her.

And speaking of girls...

He turned to see the blond girl from the Leaky, who called his name with the same cheeriness he remembered. Gah. Another one... Rolling his eyes, he looked at the curly haired boy with a sense of apprehension. It was enough for him to know how to respond back.

"Excuse me," he said, attempting to be polite. "Can't ya see that I'm busy here?"

The girl smiled at Emalyn with the most brilliant smile Emalyn had ever seen on a person. She didn't seem anything like the witches Emalyn had readabout growing up.
"Pumpkin juice...hmm..." Emalyn had never heard of drinking the juice of pumpkins, though it didn't seem too odd. She thought maybe it was some kind of strange elixir. "I'm Emalyn Daniels, call me Ema. I'm uhh...a first year." Emalyn realized straight away that this was a stupid thing to say, as it was obvious that she was new. "Thanks...you're the first one to talk to me." Emalyn smiled shyly. "Is the homework hard at your level? Well, school hasn't started yet, but...it must be pretty hard."

Kaika grinned, "YES!" she exclaimed, remembering that day when her grandpa finally convinced her grandma to let her do so for just a few minutes. Probably the best few minutes of her whole summer. "Just once! But it was sooooo good, Punz" she said, smiling, "I'll lend it to you sometime" she winked, knowing that Rapunzel might like that, she had no problem letting the new Captain ride a Firebolt.

She turned her head as another addition was made to the small group, "Hey Curt! I had an amazing summer, I bet yours was good too" she smiled, she'd never talked to Curt away from the Pitch, and last year with the school separations she barely even saw him.

"Yay!" she said, and smiled, Ella seemed very excited to know another one from London, whatever the reason was Kaika couldn't understand her reaction, but it truly didn't matter, Ella seemed like a very nice girl.

She laughed, "I think everyone might have preferred Beauxbatons, but it was still fun once in a while" especially when days included Quidditch practices. Her eyes glistened with excitement, "Oh, right, this will your first official year" she said, with a smile,"You will like it very, very much, trust me" she nodded.

Jason walked over slowly to the HufflePuff table. "When you have a chance, I would like to talk to you privately Tazmin?" Jason asked her.

"Of course butter is a natural topic!" Punz replied cheerfully, waving her hand around. "It's like gold...you know..." she trailed off with a giggle to herself and then took a long sip of pumpkin juice. Ah, that stuff was like sweet, sugary fuel. Fuel for CHAMPIONS!

Speaking of which..."Yes, I am the Cap'n," Punz replied to the boy. "But you can call me Rapunzel....Punz...Pretzel...something like that." She winked and added, "But ah....I'm afraid your name slipped my mind...? I just must know...you know....for tryouts...." That made sense, right? A good cover-up for forgetting his name but remembering his face....

"Ehhheeeeheee," Punzie giggled to Lima. "Yes. 'Twill never be the same...after I unleash my Weasley's wares on the world." She winked at Lima, hoping that this term she could prank a certain Ravenclaw witch....since her plans were FOILED at the joke shop....

"Really?" Punz grinned, all thoughts of Slytherpuffness leaving her head for the moment. "You're too sweet. And TOO AWESOME! Schazam there's no way we won't win this term." Yep yep, confident thinking led to good results...right?

Ella walked in to the Great hall and immediately gasped in delight. So this was the legendary Great Hall..... she loved it. She walked over to the Hufflepuff table and sat at an empty seat. She tried to start up a conversation with the girl named Emalyn. "Hi!" she said, still marveling at the sight of the Great Hall. "My name is Ella DeParra. I'm a second year." she glanced upward into space-- literally! Ella gasped. "Wow!" she said to no one in particular. "Look at the ceiling!" For the ceiling was hardly a cailing at all, but a gigantic window-like thing with a few wispy clouds, millions and millions of stars, and the moon.
"I wonder if that's actually the sky, or magic?" she asked, a rhetorical question. She looked down at her gold plate and sighed happily. She could already tell that this was going to be a very good year.

"Emalyn, that's a pretty name" Savannah had never heard of that name before, it was nice. "Ema it is. Most call me Vannah, or Anna; Feel free to call me whatever you want, as long as it's not mean" She said with a wink, knowing fully well adding the last bit was unnecessary. She was merely kidding around a little.

Naturally, Savannah knew Ema was a first year. She had just seen her up at sorting not too long ago. "Really? Aw, well it's very nice to meet you!" She was sure Ema, along with the rest of the first year's and transfer's of their house would meet many more of their housemates within the next few days; the opening feast was very loud, and full of excited chatter of kids catching up with their friends after a summer of being away, and others making new friends.

"It's rather challenging, but nothing unbearable. We've been taught to be prepared for the things we're learning, so it's really just another hill along the way we've got to climb to succeed" Savannah started, silently hoping her explanation made sense rather than confusing the girl. "I, and others in my year had our 'Ordinary Wizarding Levels' and next term we'll have 'Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests' both more commonly refured to as OWL's and NEWT's. They're just like final exams, except there's more pressure since they're harder than the usual ones. OWLs help set our goals as to which subjects we'll need to be most knowledgeable in and things, while NEWTs basically determine what kind of careers are avaible to us after graduating."

And now, she had definitely overdone it. Only realizing this once she stopped talking. Savannah's face pinkened lightly, warmth reaching her cheeks. "Sorry, I went got a little carried away."

Lima leaned in and whispered, "I think that we should prank the Team. And make manicures mandatory during Matches. You know, to keep up Mia's new Tradition." She winked again and tried hard not to start laughing.

"Of course!" she exclaimed, "What are friends for, anyway?" Kaika shrugged, well, friends at Quidditch to be more exact. Usually, friends weren't just for lending brooms, or were they? No, they weren't! They were also supportive of whatever nonsense the other thought.

"Yes, we will" she said, an evil grin on her face. They have to win, right? For Mia? For Mia!

She'd been into this Quidditch and butter thing that she'd forgotten just how hungry she was. That's what happens when you don't eat on the train, besides chocolate frogs, of course.
