"Well that depends. You could either have nothing happen or you could get a random animal, I would experiment with that dear." Alex said with a wink.

Amanda wanted to experiment with that once she heard what Professor Pierce had said. "Snafius Danium" She said then ate the danish and for some reason turned into a snake with the head of a lion.

Once she transformed back into a human, she made a note of her observations. "Professor, I used Snafius Danium on its own and I turned into an odd creature with the body of a snake and the head of a lion" Amanda said.

Alex frowned, "10 points from Slytherin."

"Ok, for homework, practice this spell four times sometime in the next week, 10 points per homework. Class dismissed."

Before Ellie could answer her suggestion, class had been dismissed and homework had been given. And god, was it bad. Practise the spell four times meant turning into an animals FOUR times. She couldn't even think about doing it once without her pulse quickening and her hands getting sweaty. So she wouldn't do it.

But she couldn't not do homework! Slytherin were in 3rd place! Argh.

Stuffing her things inside her bag and pushing the trap over her shoulder, she made her way to Professor Pierce. She was her Head of House - she'd understand. Right? Eh. "Professor? I have a question about the homework." She stated, biting her lower lip. "You see, I spent alot of time as a panda bear last term and I don't really ... like the idea of turning into an animal again." Even if just for a few seconds. It was just a big no no.

"I was wondering if I could just do the incantation part of the homework? Or maybe pair up with some girl and ask her to eat my ... charmed food?" She was pratically pleading here. She didn't want to turn into an animal, but she knew Slytherin needed the points. Eep!

Laylee copied down the homework assingment happily and gathered her things. It would not be a burden to do this assingment! She would enjoy it!
Once she had everything she gave her professor a grin and walked out, headed for the Flower garden.

Cassandra turned around at the Professor taking 10 points from Slytherin. For what?! She thought to herself. Slytherin was in third place already... this was not good. And she the head of house. She wrote down the homework and left.

*Slightly annoyed that she had been entranced by the other girls transforming around her, Sheeta began to pack up her things. She went over to the professor to ask a question.*

"Professor?" Sheeta began, "Does the spell wear off after the first bite or is it dangerous to try and cast the spell on the same danish twice?"

Tomasina wanted to snatch Amanda around the collar and shake her for a few good minutes. Stupid first year! Why can't they just come to class and do as they are told! She looked over and glared hard at the girl.

Kayla almost jumped with glee when the Professor took ten points from Lesalle and the look on the Prefect's face was even better. Couldn't of happened to a nicer person she thought grinning as she picked up her bag and left the classroom.

Snafius Danium
Hum.. she got it.
The brunette girl pointed her wand at the danish"Wolf Snafius Danium" And then she took a bite of it.Nop, nothing happened. She took a deep breath and tried again. "Wolf Snafius Danium!" and she took another bite.
Why wasn't it working?!
She was impatient, everyone around her, less Evangeline of course, was doing the spell perfectly.
For Merlin's sake..
Once again, Ellie pointed her wand at the danish and said "Wolf Snafius Danium!" and then she took another bite.
But this time something did happen.
She watched white and silver spreading over her skin, and soon covered her whole body.
Amazing! she thought to herself.
But she quickly turned back to normal, quicker than what she was expecting. "Gah, I wish it wasn't so fast."

Ellie totally forgot Evangeline's last year... the year she spend as a panda..
The Slytherin bit pressed her lips against each other not to laugh.
Well it was a funny image.. Evangeline as a panda..
Okay, okay stop with it Bluebell.
She moved her light brown eyes to the older girl and shrugged with a smile."I wouldn't mind if you do the spell." and then she added with an eyebrow raised and a funny smile. "Since you do it the right way."
Ellie trusted Evangeline, erm.. but even her could do the spell the wrong way.
But of course that Evangeline would do it right...
Erm.. right?

House points from Slytherin? Katrina nearly started jumping with glee. Not because she had anything against Slytherin, but anything that helped her House go forward was good to her (though the look on the Prefect's face made her wish she had a camera!) Upon hearing what the homework was, she was even happier! This class rocked! She copied down the homework, put everything back into her bag, and walked out of the class happily.

Ohh its soooo tempting to just experiment Steelsheen thought as she looked at her danish. But recalling how the experiment at Charms went, Steelsheen thought otherwise. This is our Head of House, the last thing I want to do is aplologize for looking like a fool. she thought.


That pretty much chased away all the other thoughts of wierd experimentations out of Steelsheen's mind. Seeing Amanda turn into a freak creature wasnt what she had in mind, she was curious into what random animal she'd turn into, not a sideshow attraction for the circus. She groaned inwardly when Slytherin lost points from their own Head of House Now that was beyond embarassing.

She thought for a moment then lightly tapped her danish and uttered "Raven Snafus Danium." One of her mile long names was Coveena which meant raven-like, her mother naming her so for her jet black hair. She held the danish and took a bite. Promptly she morphed into a raven, and thrilled with her new found wings, flew about the ceiling of the classroom, circling the students and the Professor below. Such a great view from up here she thought as she came back down for a landing. None too soon she returned back to human form. Slightly disheveled, Steelsheen was beaming. She loved to fly, whether on an animal, a cloud car, a swoop bike or on her own mystical power, her element was the air. She regretted that they couldnt hold off the transformation for a longer time. She settled back down into her seat and looked up at the Professor's next instruction.


Alright! More chances to test the spell out Steelsheen thought gleefully as she noted down her homework. Grabbing a few more danish from the Professor's desk, she wrapped them into some spare parchment and tucked them into her book bag. "Thanks for the great lesson Professor" Steelsheen smiled and tipped her head down in respect. She then turned and left the classroom, her head brimming with ideas on what kind of animal she'd like to try out next.

Jai swallowed and too her wand in hand "Nothing too big, nothing too small." she pointed her wand to the danish, she didn't mean to be disrespectful 'speacially not to an old professor. She didn't doubt Porfessor Pierce so she took a deep breath "Rabbit snafius danium."

Maybe that was a little too small. sighing she put the apple danish in her mouth and chewed. Eep! Jai changed into a small rabbit. she hopped once and transformed into her own self. Frowning she picked her wand from the floor and set it on her lap. Way too small.
