Amelia just listened as Vindictus described Wystan a bit more. She knew that the crazy lady had been suspended for someone regarding being too fierce a beater, but details like that she didn't know. But his advice for how to deal with her was actually quite helpful. "So we have a flying class with her this week... Do you have any suggestions for dealing with her then? Or just keep quiet?" |

And then the cold milk arrived. Lovely, just lovely. "Thanks, sir," Shel said, indulging in a rich fudge brownie. He liked chocolate chip cookies a lot, but he liked brownies better. They always made him feel... warm. Like pillows. And he warmth. And pillows. The girls began to pour in after that, as if they had been waiting for just this moment. Shel shrugged his shoulders, sticking to his milk and brownie. |
Ryan watched the back and forth between Vindictus and Amelia, his head looking back and forth as though he were watching a ping pong match. Ping Pong Ping Pong Finally, he snapped back to reality, and noticed that his eyes had glazed over. He blinked a few times and shook his head lightly. Ryan almost fell off of whatever it was he was sitting on when he heard about this Wystan woman. Before he could stop himself, he shouted, "There's a convicted felon teaching the girls how to fly?!?!" Wow. His jaw had dropped and drool was beginning to slither down his face, winding in between his stubble (which had taken 3 days to grow, mind you). Yuck. |
Will listened to Vindictus and Amelia, riveted to their conversation. A felon? And hey wait-- that alone will drive her crazy? Seems ol' Max was on the students' side... and against the Ministry intrusion. Innnnnteresting. Very interesting. he thought as he took another cookie. |
Jezz had heard the broomshed was accesable to both girls and guys due to rumor throughout the school, so she had decided to walk over and chack it out. She was hoping to see some of her Quidditch buddies. The first person she saw however, was Professor Vindictus. "Oh Hello Professor." She said, with a curtsy before realizing where she was. Those stupid manners getting drummed into them everyday were hard to tune out. She turned her head and saw Ryan. "Oh my gosh!" She yelled before tacklepouncing him. it had been a while since she had seen any of her guy friends. |

Amelia simply nodded at Vindictus' suggestions for surviving a class with her. Must be nice to have powerful people behind you, she thought to herself as she listened to Ryan's outburst and then Max's reply. "Oh really now? A fierce player who will do anything to win?" she repeated, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Perhaps I might just need to pick up a thing or two from her afterall..." Although somehow the seventh year doubted that any tips from Wystan would be tolerated very well in a School Quidditch match, but you never know.. |

He was more interested in what was going on at the girls' school, though, so he opted to keep his mouth shut. Since Amelia kept talking, he strained his ears for any mention of Rapunzel. He would never admit it....but he wanted to know how she was doing. Quote:

Curt came out of the back area, back to where everyone else was. He was finishing cleaning some of the other brooms, mainly because he really just didn't have anything else to do. He would have kept cleaning, to avoid the loneliness in the Hufflepuff common room but he heard voices coming from the other side of the shed, familiar ones. Curt rounded the corner and he saw Vindictus of course, Ryan (oh great..), the Slytherin Prefect, Sheldon Ambrose, a girl he did'nt know, aaaand Amelia Rose. He had been meaning to talk to Amelia outside of tryouts for forever, mainly about Savannah but to check up on her as well. Curt approached them and looked to Amelia, "Hey Mia." he said with a half smile, looking around the room. They were locked in an intense conversation, that was for sure. "And Ryan." he said with a nod of recognition, after actually talked to him at the pond, Curt could tell that Ryan wasn't exactly fond of him. "You all talking about life at Belle's?" Curt asked, taking a seat his pupils dialating for any sort of impormation on Savannah Mae. |
"Hey there, Curt and Jezzabell - help yourself to cookies, brownies and milk," Vindictus said cheerfully and a little voice inside his mind kept on reminding him to ask questions. Someone must have attended Arithmancy. Anything I can tell Fabian about Macadrian will help. What's up with the curtseys? Are their common rooms freakishly white? These and other questions were flooding his brain. "How are classes, ladies?" he asked and hoped again, that someone would mention Arithmancy or even Gobstones. |
Looking back from Professor V to Mia Alexis wondered if she was going to take his advice. "But...Professor Vindictus this teacher isn't normal she took away points from Mia for being friendly." Alexis said slowly. The crazy minister hired crazy staff. Not a big surprise. Looking at the Ravenclaw Captain Alexis blinked. 'You're....weird." Alexis said directly too him. What?!? It was true. "Curt!" |

She shook her head. "I was kidding about the picking up tricks from her, but I disagree. We're allowed to train our beaters, but just to use violence with their bats." Quote:
Before Vindictus had gotten the opportunity to speak, someone else entered the scene from apparently the back of the shed. The Male Hufflepuff Prefect, Curtis Diggory, who seemed quite interested in speaking with her. Probably more wanting to know about a certain female prefect. "Hey Curt," she smiled up at him from the table. "Well kind of. They want to know." She told him, thumbing Vindictus and Ryan. Quote:
She looked back over to Professor Vindictus when he addressed them again. Boy he sure was nosy today, she thought, but then realized it must come with the male thing. All males seemed to be nosy, especially when it was regarding females. "Classes? They're good if you like singing and learning proper etiquette," she smiled trying to recall what else she had learned thus far. "Oh yea and we learned about finding our Pinnacles in Arithmancy. You should tell Professor Clark that I had to find his for homework..." |

Jezz smiled. "Classes are okay. Actually anythingd okay as long as it keeps me away from the common room." She shuddered. "If I could I would just sleep out by the koi pond, and us Ravvies got the good stuff." She thought for a minute. "The poor Badgers have a purple common room." |
"Purple? That color sure beats pure white," Vindictus grinned. "You get blinded if you walk into the Ravenclaw Common Room, right Ryan?" His ears perked up when Mia said Arithmancy. Yes! "Sure, I'll tell him. But tell me - is Professor Shackleton acting normalish?" |

"Uh....thanks?" He said, still suffering from lack of breath. Quote:

"Our Common Room is nothing but flowers." She looked at them, "Bright white flowers. Well it was until Professor Lainey let us ummm... redecorate a little." At least they still got to be them, they didn't have to act all different and proper all the time judging by what she had heard. |
Biting the edge of his lower lip, Fabian approached the Quidditch Pitch, but his eyes... his eyes were skimming the grounds towards the girl's school for any familiar face. Well one particular face. He heaved a sigh when his eye search came with null results and his feet on their own accord dragged him towards the broomshed. Upon hearing voices he knocked twice on the door before peering inside, he wouldn't interrupt Max's class for the world. Plus, it was more polite and courteous. "Teaching a class?" he asked curiously, deeply hoping his friend wasn't. |
A chair appeared next to Max. "Why, Professor Clark! Come sit and have some cookies, brownies and milk," he grinned and his eyes flashed over to Mia. "Amelia was just telling me about her Arithmancy class with Professor Shackleton." He caught what Jezzabell was saying. "Flowers? Ick. I swear Clara never had any taste. Brennan, either. The man can't even fly on a broom properly." |
James was...well...confused. Lately his wandering path had been to the most empty passageways of the schools, and now, coming out of his hiding, things were...different. Say, like the Prefects or Captains weren't wearing their badges. Sure, sometimes they didn't wear their badges....but all at the same time!?! Anyway, he had noticed the Quidditch pitch. He direly hoped that Monica was there, as he looked towards the girls school. He wandered to the broom shed, where he heard familiar voices...but not that he had ever met. He wandered around the corner. "Jezz?" he said in surprise. Wow. At least someone was there. All the better if they were his friend. |
Barry walked in "Good evening ptofesser and Professer" said Barry he picked up his broom and took it next to James he smilled at the other ravenclaw girl and said to James "Hi" and he started polishing his broom. |
Vindictus heard another student enter the shed. "Class is over," he said and looked at the players assembled around him. "But is there something important you needed to ask me?" OOC: Everyone is wearing their badges. And the Broomshed is a place for the Quidditch Captains to gather and chat (even the players meet in the shed to discuss Quidditchy things), as well as the place to clean a broom. It is not a substitute for the Lake or the School Grounds. Also, the class that Vindictus just finished involved cleaning brooms, so beware. |

Good. Not teaching a class, a small smile played on his lips as he moved into the room and rested in the seat next to Max. He loosened his scarf and helped himself to some cookies, "Really?" he mused, "How's Shackleton doing?" he slipped but then coughed and re asked, "How was arithmancy class?" his eyes suspiciously moved to silently ask Max to fill him in.. |
Max grinned and leaned back in his chair. "Amelia has yet to tell us, but she did say that she had to figure out your pinnacles for homework. Oh, and the girls were saying how horrible it is at Belle's school. " |
James did have something to ask Vindictus. But not here. It wasn't important anyway. Just asking what his punishment was. "Uh...well...not really...sorry" James said quickly walking out the door after saying "Hi" to Barry. OOC: Oh. Sorry. Maybe my comp. is messed up. All the badges seem to be gone...Anyway, sorry I missed the class, I couldn't get on SS...probably my comp. as well. Oh well..... |
Vindictus looked over at Barry. "And pray, do tell. Why are you polishing a clean broom?" he inquired with a raised eyebrow. |
