"Yeah maybe we can" replied Jose "So tell me something about yourself"

Nico expelled a breath in an echo, his brows furrowing in consternation. "Then it seems she hadn't taken her pills the first time I met her either. So I clearly rub her the wrong way."

After spotting the boys carriages, Sam climbed into one that was empty. He didn't want to ask to share, no, it would be easier if someone came to him.

Sebastian sighed, it was the case with her. "Yes, she tends to take a dislike to a certian person, and from that moment on, detests the very thought of them. She had it with her next door neighbor..." He paused and gave Nico a taught smile, "I guess you can imagine."

“Or perhaps she just has a crush on me and doesn’t know how to deal with it.” Nico replied wickedly, “But seriously, I will try not to push her…though I won’t hold back if she pushes me…even if she does have a condition.”

Nico could feel the potion Kayla had given him begin to kick in, his body was feeling pleasantly numb. He straightened in his seat a little too enthusiastically; alright not completely numb, he thought, wincing.

"There isnt alot to tell my mum was a muggle and she died when i was just a kid but my dad was also a wizard and he has brought me up ever since" Ross said with a slight tear in his eye " What about you why dont you tell me something about yourself?"

Sebastian smiled at him gratefully, "Thanks, because even though she's older than me, her parents see it as my fault if anything happens to her, apparently I'm not taking enough reponsiblity."

He flicked his eyes over Nico's body as it went rigid, his eyes narrowed, now this was new.
"Are you alright?" He asked cautiously.

"Much improved," Nico nodded casually, "Fell off my broom playing quidditch with my brother, rather bruised around the ribs."

Nico practically scoffed at himself; he hadn't ever fallen off of a broom, but the excuse was sound enough and he couldn't go talking about what actually happened.

"If you are the one who looks after her; aren't you worried about this whole seperation thing?" Nico asked; knowing he was concerned enough over his sister who was hale and healthy and certainly not prone to random outbursts.

Sebastian opened his mouth to reply, then suddenly dropped his jaw. Yes, now he was very worried that she might paste someone to a wall in temper.
"Oh shoot." He murmered, this seriously couldn't be happening. "I really do hope she's going to be alright, after all, I did lend her my pills, so hopefully she'll be taking enough of them to calm down."

He was babbling, he knew it. But he just couldn't shut himself up, he was now really worried about Alyss, or the people around Alyss more to the point.

Sam managed to find one of the only empty carriages in the entire group and slid into it quickly. What was this all about? Was the Headmistress going to bit off her rocker? Well, she wouldn't be the only one. The two of them could pledge their insanity to the whole school together. Although, his kind of insane is a little depressing. Maybe she could compensate for that?

Sam eyed the other boy's milling around him in the other carriages. It never occurred to him before, but now he realized-he didn't have many boy's as friends. Most of the people that wouldn't be surprised to be called his 'friend', even in his state of mind, would be girls.

Maybe she knew. That's why she'd done this, to force him to be friendly to the other boy's. No. That was insane. Well, he was, so it wouldn't be out of the question for him to think that was it? Sam dearly wished that he was his old self once again. This lost, depressed, Sam was getting on his nerves.

"Maybe you should check on her." Nico answered, both glad that he had managed to turn the subject away from his so called quidditch injuries and somewhat worried himself that the volatile one would spontaneously explode...or implode as the case may be.
"I'll save you a seat if you like..." Nico offered.

Sebastian looked down. "No, a friend of mine already got in trouble for going into one of the girls' carriages. Ravenclaw lost ten points..." He looked up quickly, "Seems Hufflepuff came fourth out of four last term, I'd rather stay here, and worry from my position of helplessness." He attempted a smile.

" Fair enough." Nico replied thinking of Kayla's short visit to the boy's carriages; lucky she didn't get caught. "Alright. So enough about the volatile one." Nico replied, "Tell me something about you."

Finn looked around and seeing that nothing was happening right now, he reached into his robe, took out the sketch book that Hermy had given him and looked at the portrait of herself she had put on the first page. He felt like he had missed so much, not being able to spend time with her the last month.

He sighed, took out some charcoal and began to try and copy the sketch.

"Well my pleasure to meet you Nicholai." Trey had heard many times before that he resembled his father, but hearing it from Nico was a little different. It was from someone he didn't know at all, it seemed to have stuck him a little bit more. Nico also seemed to be like Trey, or used to be how Trey is. Their backgrounds must be quite similar Trey thought to himself. "So you said something about your sister? Who is she?" he asked. Wondering why his father had taking a liking in her.

"She's going into her first year." Nico replied, his eyes lighting up a little at the thought of her. "Her name is Celandine, shes a slip of a thing with big brown eyes and blonde hair; did you spend any time in Diagon Alley? you might have seen her around." Nicholai nodded. " We have three older brothers also; They all studied at Durmstrang, as I did myself until this year."

"You alrigh'?" Clifford nodded at Miles as the boy he met on the train took the seat beside him. He'd probably just said goodbye to the bogey girl on the platform. "This is different, eh?" He pointed out, looking around the carriage. He was slowly getting used to the difference though. All guys could be quite fun. The burping was a laugh. He knew though, he would've thought otherwise had Evangeline been here.

"A cat?" He asked, turning back to Dan and raising an eyebrow. Cats? Eww. They were worse than the little dog thing Squeak had. And definately worse than owls. "Cats are good for kicking."

Will looked at Ignatius with momentary horror -- Jai, being slaughtered? Nooooo! -- before realizing it was a joke. Probably a joke, anyway. He laughed a little nervously. "Well, I wish them no ill will. I just don't see why everyone seems to have their knickers in a bunch over this; once we get to the castle they'll straighten things out, I'm sure. The professors at Hogwarts have never let us down before..." Of course, they did somehow manage to allow a slew of students to be turned into animals, then use the OTHER students to turn them back... and there was that whole battle with the muggles... and he was quite sure one or two of the profs was clinically insane... Will shook his head, trying not to think too much on it. Surely they weren't going to enact some huge change without letting their parents know what the school environment would be!

"Do you think we should go try to help calm the students down and get them into the carriages, or just wait?" Personally, he favoured waited and seeing which way the wind was going to blow before committing himself to one side or the other of the conflict.

"Yeah. I had to find out the somewhat hard way," Tancred explained. "I heard just bits and pieces from my mother, but they didn't tell me a thing. It was just a I'm glad I didn't send you to Hogwarts thing. I had toget all the information from my friends in Diagon Alley, which was somewhat hard because the one that told me mostly everything was working in Flourish and Blotts. You had all these little kids running around and stuff."

Tancred looked at the old guy with disgust. He just couldn't stand people like that. Ordering younger people about and getting on everyone's nerves. He was so tempted to jinx the old man, but he was going to wait until he knew what was happening. "I hope he isn't a professor. If he is, I don't kno what I'll do. He's so annoying! What's so hard about getting onto carriages? Let's go!" He rolled his eyes. "Who does he think he is? The Minister of Magic or something?" He shook his head. If this old man was there throughout the term, he was not going to be a happy young man at all. In fact, he wasn't going to be very happy at all if he didn't see Lindsey soon.

Kingston was soon separated from Lindsey. He didn't like how she looked back at him with her pleading brown eyes, demanding that she would stay with him. Her voice echoed through his ears as he soon got onto the carriages. She didn't want to leave him. Nor did he want to leave her.

And for the first time in many years, Kingston felt uneasy alone.

Curt quickly turned his head as he head someone call his name. He watched as Dusty ran over from his carriage and situated himself in the one Curt was in, "Hey Dusty," Curt said with a grin, he still wasn't sure if Dusty was trying to give him a hard time on the train or not, but Curt decided it was probably to play it off as he didn't, maybe his imagination was getting the better of him. Curt noticed Dusty's ferret sniffing his legs, and Curt reached down and gave the little guy a comterable pat on the head. Upon Dusty asking what was going on, Curt simply shrugged... he was just as confused as everyone else. "I'm not sure mate, this has never happened before. Can't be anything bad though, I still see some of the old professors back." he said with a nod.

Curt then looked to one of the first years who was introducing himself, the one with the shorter hair. Curt nodded, "Nice to meet you Flynn." he said, trying his best to settle into the situation, he wasn't really worried at all anymore; he was just anxious to find out what was going to happen. Curt frowned slightly as Flynn asked him if he knew why this was happening, he merely shook his head. "I wish I did... but I don't have any idea. They will explain everything when we arrive at our place though, no worries." he said confidently. They better, Curt thought, it was pretty tough being clueless like this.

Curt then turned to the other young one, Garret it turned out his name was. Curt noticed his shyness at first, and it made Curt smile as he remember his very own first year, how nervous he was around some of the older students, the Hufflepuff prefect Leo, and some of the other girls. He soon got over it though, and it was evident Garret was too as he went on about how he noticed that wasn't a normal happening. "That is true." Curt said with nod, he looked around again. The panic was still thick in the air, and some people were arguing, and it sounded like idea's of a revolt were in the air. Curt sighed, he just wished everyone would settle down, it really wasn't that big of a deal. Curt was the one being separated from his serious girlfriend, if he was fine with it, everyone else should be. Curt laughed as Garret said he didn't need the girls, and started to hurry people along. This kid was funny, and Curt was hungry as well... he stood up in the carriage and turned around, facing everyone who was lollygagging around, "Let's go gentlemen, Professors' have asked us time and time again to hurry it up so lets get a move on!" he said, hoping to maybe speed things up. Sitting back down, he looked to Garret and smiled, "Yeah I think we'll do just fine without the nagging girls." he said with a wink, "But I'll tell you this much, give yourself a year or two and you might change you mind on the matter." he said with a grin, thinking of when he started devoloping a huge crush on Savannah Mae.

It was just then when Curt's fellow housemate Ray made his way into the carriage, Curt didn't see much of him last year but he was just a year under himself, Curt was pretty sure. "G'day Ray." Curt said with a nod, before frowning slightly and shaking his head. "All I know is that the Professors are explaining everything once we get there, I just wish everyone would hurry and load up so we had head out." as he looked out to the crowd on the platform that was finally beginning the thin out.

Curt turned back over to Dusty, taking a look at his pet ferret. Curt really like ferrets, his oldest brother used to have one. "What's this guys name?" Curt asked, petting the critter softly on the back.

Dusty frowned slightly at Curt's response, but he knew that the prefect had just as much knowledge about the situation as he did. "This is weird. Why did I transfer here?" he chuckled, trying to make light of the situation. Phineas was now slowly but surely climbing up Curt's legs to sit on his lap. "I think he likes you," he commented with a smile. That wasn't a big surprise though. Phineas liked boys more than girls anyway; Savannah was just an exception.

The young man smiled and nodded at the two first years: Garret and Flynn. "I'm Dusty, if you didn't catch that before. Pleasure to meet both of you on this...dismal day." Got that right. He had already sent three letters while on the other carriage, just in case they were going some where that might be dangerous, he thought he might as well save his owl. He then nodded and smiled at another newcomer; Curt gave him the name Ray.

"Oh that's Phineas. He was scared not that long ago, but now I think he's more interested in you petting him," he laughed, winking at the ferret. Dusty and Phineas had a strange relationship, seeing as Phineas seemed to understand the human. But hey, stranger things have happened. Ya think?

Howard Hill boarded a carriage. he got right in and got settled with his small carry on bag. "Hey gentlemen."

Dan raised his eyebrow at Cliffords response " didnt have you down as the violent, animal abusing type Cliff " he couldnt help a slight laugh. Dan couldnt see how you could hate cats so much that you would willingly kick them. The small talk still didnt mask the fact that they were been separated into two schools, the idea of which was still pretty scary.

"I hate the drama. Seriously, if it was going to happen the teachers can't be stopped. And I do not believe that they would split the school in two, because there are not enough teachers to teach both halves," Ignatius shook his head. "I think we should sit this one out. I do not wish to get on the bad side of the teachers before I even start."
