Josh saw foodzilla coming this way and didnt want to be trampled on...he wished to live for another day. He moved away from the table he was standing by and moved against the wall. he was sure fabain would talk to the other teacher anyway.

Josh was against the wall when he saw lyra come in and then herself waiting against a wall. he moved to stand next to her as he asked quietly as they where near the corner." how did it go?" of course he was talking about christian. he hoped it went well...

"I'll follow them for the safe side" she agreed, "But I dont know much about Nurse Numel." she nodded.

"I smelt that, that's why I'm so excited about that" she giggled and looking forward for that moment, honestly.

Sana's head turned to the favourite voice. "Professor!!" She sounds bit louder. Awe..She forgot to go to his office to talk the remaining part. She should, as soon as possible.

Dia glanced over at Monsoon, who was not far from her, and bristled. "You know, Xana, you would think the great Dudmuffin could just send his mighty mind-meld falcon up to scan the grounds with its amazingly sharp eyes and locate the missing students. Would save us all a bloody flight in the damn snow." she said bitterly, just loudly enough for Monsoon to hear her.

Marco smiled, "I am glad" He was enjoying spending time with her.

He turned around. Fabian. His second favourite Professor. "Professor Clark. I didn't know you were coming here. Good to see you again."

Lyra looked to Josh as she made a little sniffle noise. "Well, I was interrupted when Fabian walked up to drag me back here," she began as she glanced over to the table where her uncle stood. "Oh I would say that it went pretty...bad actually. As I walked off I told him that I understood if he never talked to me again and...that was about the most of it. I think..." She shut her mouth and her cheeky attitude and grinned at Josh.

Josh sighed as dia was at it again. could she not just leave him alone.. why was she so obsessed with him." No one is making you stay here dia.If you dont want to go looking for your friends then leave." he told her simply." the dudmuffin would if he thought it would help any. You may take connor with you if you think it will help any. after all we are all here to find the missing students." he told her.

he went back to lyra as she started to tell him about Christian." You are both good friends. im sure he will want to be friends again, i doubt him going a little crazy yesterday will change that." he told her. " Im sure it will just take a little time." he assured her. Christian seemed pretty cool."he'll come around."

Zero nodded to the girl Marco introduced. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss Sana. Like Marco said, I am Zero." He looked over at Marco and nodded his head to him. He kept his ears alert to listen to the professors about what was going on. He noticed Fabian come in. He did hope he still wasn't thinking he was a bad kid, he didn't want that to be going on for the whole term.

"This's so short" she laughed and asked in a soft voice, "Do you like Professor Fabian?" she raised her eyebrow and asked, "I do like him, he's my ever favorite " her head turned towards the professor again.

Sana smiled, "Nice name, Zero. And the pleasure is mine". Then she added, "Can I say something?"

Lyra shook her head to the abnormal students in the room. Now was not the time to start fighting. She then turned her attention back to Josh as he spoke of Christian. "Yeah! A little time is hard, ya know," she smiled at him, knowing that he completely understood with his missing friends. At least her friend was not covered in hair and running around lost somewhere...well, the lost part might have been true but..Eh? Who's keeping up.

Zero tucked a few strands of silver hair behind his ear. "Hmm, why thank you. Weirdest name in the family," he smiled lightly and added, "Enlighten me. What are you going to ask? That is." He looked over at Marco and wondered why he was being so silent.

Dia rolled her eyes slightly and glanced back at Monsoon. "Did I ever say I was leaving?" she said dryly. "And did I ever say I didn't want to go looking for my friends? No, I do not think I did. Merlin, Monsoon, you'd think you had a defeaning spell placed on you...anyways, this is a public search party. You have no right to be commanding me to leave." she sipped her cocoa. "I think I'll be just fine on my own, without your ruddy bird, thanks." she said coldly, turning back to Xana. "Honestly..." Dia muttered, and drained the rest of the cup of cocoa.

Josh merely smiled at her as she finally shut that non-stop trap of hers. Honestly did she always have to say something when he was around?

Josh smiled at her and nodded in agreement. It was bad enough that monica had told him that she loved him and seconds after she had transformed into a cat. "im sure things will turn out fine. Maybe after the search you could go talk to him. Next time try to be more spy like. Maybe then you could of talked longer." he told her as she was always talking about how good she was at being a spy. he smirked at her as he was teasing.

"Umm.. I thought so initially, but it sounds cool" she said as a matter of fact. "Nothing big, I wonder about your hair, is it something heridity or..?" she looked up, hoping that she didnt sound anything wrong. "It looks so nice, though" she nodded.

"Isnt it, Marc?" she turned to him as she slides her hand with his.

It was time to change the subject. Lyra had enough of feeling down and now it was time to press forward. She was determined to make the most of her time with Josh as she could, which included the flirting. "Ahhh, yes! The famous spy work," she began as she reached for his hand, secretly of course since the big bad uncle was in the room. Her eyes glanced from Fabian back to Josh. -sly grin-

"You know, I'm thinking we need to visit the Library more often," she began at a whisper. "I have a few more things I would like to share with Santa about Christmas, you know, so that he won't forget me." She giggled lowly. Flirting with Josh was always her favorite past-time.

josh looked down at their hands as fabain really didnt know. He knew..but he didnt. If the goat loving mr. tall man wasnt so busy then maybe he could of gotten a word in. he looked at her as she started about the library. Oh the library."We can visit the library as many times as you like." he assured her as she would have no trouble getting him there." a few more things...i wasnt aware that you had left anything out." he told her as he smiled."Trust me...santa would never forget you. he remembers you quite well." he grinned at her as he continued." and what excatly did you leave out?"

From her spot in the room, Rhiannon had seen Josh say he was going to search an area near the forest. From what she could tell, it was near where she had seen the footprints. Even though that clue had probably been obliterated by the weather, she still figured it was probably a good place to look. Unless someone has any more recent clues they aren't talking about . . ., she thought.

She saw Amelia, as well as Josh over by Lyra, still there. She wasn't going to back out of the search, and she figured they weren't going to either. And Vindictus still didn't seem like he was going to transform, so she figured the chocolate he ate must not have been tainted. She wasn't ready to give up on the candy theory yet, and was not going to eat any until someone definitively proved to her that it was safe.

Lyra giggled at their turn of conversation of the moment. "You know how I like to study and we seem to have lots of study time in there, although," she pondered for a moment bringing her hand to rest under her chin. "I do remember some distraction here and there and someone," -gasp- "walking out after...well you know. But there was something I forgot to ask for, for Christmas of course." She looked down to his tie and....ah yes...her favorite grin, the sly one of course, appeared on her face. She leaned in to whisper once more. "I forgot to tell Santa that I want a trip to Paris and a grand piano." Her sly smile turned into a sweet but yet innocent look. "I would love to see you play sometime." She added remembering an encounter in the Room of Requirements where he played guitar for her. "I just know it would be absolutely wonderful."

He smiled as she started to talk about studying..yeah..so she said.. He normally would go full speed with her, but not here." not now.." he asked her with pleading eyes. he didnt mind some flirting, but this was a rather serious matter they were talking about in the broomshed. he had friends that had turned into animals and missing.He then told her." im sure he wont forget to give it to you." he gave her a small smile as he wasnt upset with her, but just didnt want to flirt with her." yeah i'll play for you. maybe after the search party..or tomorrow. My office?" he asked her. " and im not that good. I havent got as much practice as i would like."

Lyra pressed her lips together and listened. Josh was right, now was not the time. "Yeah, just sometime actually," she spoke of him playing for her. "I know that if we find them tonight that you would definately want to spend time with your friends. I know you miss them. I would too."

She leaned against the wall, making herself a littl more comfortable. "You don't mind if I...skip flying do you? I really don't want to embarrass myself anymore than normal," she began with a light chuckle. "I heard Ariana speaking of having a ground crew. I think I would be much better at that. You know, keeping up with my spy work and all." She always joked about her spy work, which truly never was nothing more than just seeing how far she could go wth something silly. She turned her head as she began biting her lip again.

"yeah it would be awesome if we found them, but if we found them i dont think they would be turned back into animals tonight. No one seems to have many ideas about what excatly is the cause of them actually turning. potion, charms? I havent heard that they have found a cure for it." he told her honestly.

she talked about staying on the ground with ari and gave her a smile." sure go right ahead. I really think you guys will find more on the ground then the sky." he told her as he could be wrong though. I might join you acutally...." he then thought about it." they will have plenty of fliers. Besides i want to look around near the forest." he gave her a smile when she talked about spy work." Im sure you'll do great."

Lyra listened as Josh began to speak of the animals if they were found. He was right, as far as everyone knew, there was no cure for the moment. "Well, we do have some of the best professors here, if they cannot come up with something of a cure, there is always the Ministry."

She smiled weakly turning her head to the professors in the room with them, especially Fabian. "You know this is dangerous work for all of us. If this person is watching us look for the missing students, he or she could harm someone in this room as well." She looked at the faces of the different students in the room, finally resting her eyes on him. "I think we could do just as well on the ground as they are up in the air. Although that forest looks pretty spooky at night, but I'm here to help in any way possible. I'll just have to set my nerves aside and become a little more brave."

The Quidditch Master had a point and seeing him wave that chocolate around made Claudian have a sudden craving for the dark smooth substance himself. Remembering the emergency chocolate he'd stuffed into his pocket from earlier, he reached in and pulled it out savouring it slowly, oblivious to nearly everything else.

"I believe that we have great professors, but still no one has any idea what it is. you cant cure something if you have no idea what it is." it would put a strain on the cure process.

Hm..he or she could be watching us right now..and if they were being kidnapped...they would looked for humans that had turned into animals. Hm...an idea has came in him as she spoke. he came back to reality as he would have to talk to the transfiguration teacher about his idea." I do think so as well. if i was an animal...which i've been three times now. I would go to the forest. No one hardly goes into the forest, besides they can live in there because of the resources."

"He is my second favourite teacher. And quidditch player. I used to watch him as a child. My favourite is Professor Max. I have always wanted to be like him. He made me get into quidditch. And then I discover he is teaching me here. I was delighted," Marco grinned.

"Sorry I was off somewhere else," he said, looking back at Zero. His eyes had lingered a bit too long on Lyra and Josh. He couldn't believe they were doing that. With Fabian that close by. He hoped Josh got detention.

"I love his hair. I was considering dying mine bright blue just to keep up," Marco laughed. He felt her little hand in his. It was warm. "So how have you been Zero? I haven't seen you for a while. Busy busy busy studying for your OWLs?"

Tia stood quite lonely and very confused so if it was not the candy that were turning people into animals then what was happening to her fellow students to make them dissapear
