CoMC Lesson One :: Introduction to Serpentes
You enter Care of Magical creatures classroom and find it redecorated with earthy colors and muddy green walls. Desk colors for today's lesson are in a shade of emerald green. Don't fret, its only an illusion.
A vivid yellow serpent is projected on the board behind Professor Clark. Its tongue flicks out occasionally, if you look closely its feeding on flying insects.
Professor Fabian Clark is leaning on the back wall of the classroom in his custom black robes and fluorescent waterproof boots, with his arms crossed across his chest. His hair is tied up in a neat pony tail and a booming grin plastered on his face. ooc: Class will start at 6pm EST, please keep chatting to a minimum until lesson commences. Thanks! | |

He couldn't see anything, so instead he brushed a hand across his shoulder and something dropped to the ground, "what do you know, a beetle" he mused propping it the right way up with his foot.
"Listen Ariana" he murmured, "your a fifth year student. Its only normal to stress out while studying for your O.W.Ls. I've seen students verge into emotional breakdowns. Take it easy with yourself alright?"

She smiled, brushing a strand of hair out of her face as she muttered, "Okay I'll try. I mean, I'll see how much I can do with the whole snake thing, I mean I really need this grade if I have any chance of getting my goal." She frowned and sighed, smiling a slight smile.
She stepped back for a moment, overwhelmed at his concern and tilted herhead slightly, "Honestly I'll try Sir. Thank you for your concern. And I apologize for that odd noice I made earlier, I have no clue where that came from. I think I'm coming down with something." She said, pulling down her sunglasses a bit so he could see the sincerity in them. Her eyes had changed drastically; from the bright green they were days before, they had changed to a dark brown, with gold spots. Almost like a birds eye. She put her glasses back up and moved her bag to the other shoulder, taking the sheet.

Sana took the exercise sheet from him. "Thank you Professor, but what if I get the bite? Can you please accompany to the Park?" she was not sure of his availability."

Rhiannon tore her gaze away from her notes and shoved them into her bag. Standing up quickly, she walked to the door. Knowing she probably looked like an idiot, she took the practical sheet from the professor and headed for the park, her face turning a slight shade of pink.
