The Entrance Hall If the music is too loud and you need a quiet place to chat, come out into the Entrance Hall for a breather. No shenanigans, though, or you'll be sent right to bed. |
Ryan walks quietly in the entrance hall. He had just send an owl to Lindsey and he wasnt sure if she was going to answer. After all they only had meet twice which was much but he had to admit that he really like her presence. This was a kind of girl that like a lots of thing that he enjoyed and it was a shame that they didnt spend more time together but he had to admit that with the Quidditch thing, he didnt have much time to do anything. Not even have time to think. Putting some order in his hair, he waited to see how was going to show up. |
Excelsior walked through the entrance of the Great Hall wearing an outfit very different from any he had worn before. He had his hair slicked back with a muggle hair product, and he was wearing a black leather jacket, tight jeans, motorcycle boots, comb and a white T-shirt. He had gotten the idea from his outfit from a drawing in a muggle book entitled "Happy Days" and the character he was trying to look like was called "The Fonz". He wasn't sure if there would be anyone for him here to partner with, but he was determined to try and enjoy himself after the embarrassing loss to Ravenclaw at quidditch. |
Heather walked through the entrance hall scribbling on a piece of parchment her owl on her shoulder. She flipped her hair out of her eyes to read it clearly. She skimmed it through and then continued.she went to a wall leaning against it to have something to write on.she handed it to her owl"Take it to Jackie,"she said smiling. She turned and left. |
Becky walked into the Entrance Hall Wearing a pair of tight jeans and a pink fitted t-shirt with Pink Ladies written across the back that she had gotten back home. She looked around and saw a few students were already there, but none she knew. She stood to the side leaning against the wall watching them. |

She hoped she hadn't taken too long, and soon enough, she had spotted Ryan just by the entrance hall. She beamed, and had to recollect herself to keep from squealing. Silly school girl crushes. "Hi Ryan," she smiled once she had approached him. |
Willow get to the entrance hall, feeling slightly nervous. She had never been in a ball before. She had no idea what to expect, but she wanted to have fun. She was wearing fleary skirt an very cute blouse she had bought, in a muggle store with her mother. Her long dark hair was resting a little lower from her shoulder. She looked aroundto see if she could see a friend around there, but she didnt. So she merely waited. |
Quote:
Scratching his back, he wasnt used to wear this kind of cloathes. He wasnt a formal kind of person and the sport cloathes that he usually had was making him more comfortable then that. Noticing that Lindsey was amazing in her purple outfit, he bowed at her. "You look lovely tonight." |
Quote:
She smiled and blushed just a little bit as he bowed to her. "Thank you," she smiled shyly. |
Quote:
Offering his arm in order to lead her, he decided to ask her where she rather go. "Well miss Lindsey.... would it be the buffet or the dancefloor?" |
Evangeline huffed quietly as she walked into the Entrance Hall coming from the Dungeons. Why oh why did she have to share a dormitory with Bella? She sighed and looked down at her polka dot skirt. No – worse, her polka dot poodle skirt! She could see the ball was a Sock Hop ball (whatever that was) but seriously, poodle skirts? Hopefully nobody would recognise her. She folded her arms across her chest and looked back at the corridor which led to the dungeons. Where was Bella? She had made her use these clothes, she could at least show up. |
Bella noticed Evangeline's mood right off as she skipped into the hall, her own poodle skirt twisting around her legs. She made a face at Eva's expression and laughed, "Don't be a party pooper Eva." she scolded with a smile, "We are going to have fun." |
Evangeline, who was once again eyeing her skirt, raised her head immediately at the sound of Bella’s voice. “Well, I hope so Bells.” She said, her arms still folded. “Because I feel pathetic.” She poked her tongue out at Bella and looked around. “So, where to now?” She asked, turning to face Bella. “Do you wanna go and try to find where they hide the chocolate?” She smirked. |
Bella nodded, she was going to tell Eva how cute she looked, but she figured it would fall on deaf ears. "You know, we aren't going to be the only ones in there who are dressed up." she added, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. At the mention of chocolate, her grin broadened, "When do I pass up an opportunity to eat chocolate?" she asked. |
Quote:
She smiled as he offered his arm to her, and she linked it with his. "I say... dancefloor, then buffet," she giggled before she entered the brightly decorated great hall. |
Quote:
She chuckled at Bella’s rhetorical question. “Never of course. It must run in the family.” She poked her tongue out at Bella again before starting walking towards the Great Hall. “Hurry up then! We don’t wanna miss the chocolate do we?” |
Bella chuckled when Evangeline mentioned that her love for chocolate must run in the family, in fact, it did. Even her uncle Brutus, enjoyed chocolate perhaps too much. "Well." she started, trailing behind Eva, "What can I say?" |

Rapunzel strolled up to the entrance of the Yule Ball and waited for her lovely date to show up. Hopefully he remembered. And hopefully he was a good dancer. She patiently twiddled with the fancy strap on her handbag and shuffled her high-heeled feet. She felt pretty tonight...and everyone looked so nice..... Rapunzel sighed and leaned against the wall. |

Christian walked down the stairs to the entrance hall. He was absentmindedly doing up the last few buttons on his coat, he was sporting a brand new black suit (specially picked out for him curtousey of his mother). It was on odd suit, his mother mentioned that it was Japanese styled or something. Leave it to his mother to pick something out of the ordinary. Oh well, at least it fit. Smoothing out any crinkles, he looked around for his "date". It was odd referring to her as his date, but it was true. He had asked her to the dance and she accepted. He remembered stupidly sitting there, gaping at her in shock. He just hoped nothing would go terribly wrong. |
Quote:
Mallory peeked through the hallway. Oh, Merlin, there he is! She fumbled with her outfit. It was so...girlie. All her mother's doing. You write to your mom about one dance and a date and she goes buying you pink stuff! ugh! Mantal note number one: Never tell your mom about dances ever. Especially when the involve dates. She fumbled one last time with her outfit until she finally gave up. She descended down the stairs, defeated. Might as well get this thing over with... http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15...alloryDoll.jpg |
Quote:
What to do I say!? You look great?...no that's overrated..Help! I'm failing here! Oh no...she's getting closer...perhaps if I run..no she's fast..oh no.oh noh. oh no... "Hi." |
Fabian Clark made his way into the great hall wearing navy colored dress robes, his shoulder length hair tied up in a neat pony tail. His face carried no emotions at all, but he was rather curious about this ball. Making his way towards the great hall, his eyes stole glances at dark corners checking if any students lingered there. |
Gwen was famous for never really paying attention to where she was going. She was lost in her thought of where she could hide out, until the dance was over. When she accidently tripped on something, causing her to crash and burn as she land on the hard cold ground. She popped up from the ground and gave herself a quick once over. Gwen couldn't find any blood and she wasn't dying and that meant she was okay. 'Hmm maybe the lake will be empty.' she thought to herself for a moment as she stood there for a moment. |
Quote:
"Hey," she greeted. "You look wonderful" she said blushing. Uh, could she get any more pink? |

"Hey look, there's Mr. Clark." Christian frowned at Fabian's appearance. The niffler's Christian was taking care of looked like they had higher spirits than Fabian. A tempting idea to hit him with a tickling charm popped into his head. It was then followed by the prospect of getting thrown into detention. Christian looked up to Fabian like the father he never had, but it totally wasn't worth having detention with the man. "Hey Mr. Clark!" He yelled out. "Looking good!" |
Quote:
"D'you think it's some kind of mom-ritual to do that? Pick out clothes for their kids, I mean. Because mom just sent me tons of pink clothes." She sighed, her mind wandering to the package her mother had sent her a few weeks before. It looked like a small box, but it was charmed to hold about ten different outfits. All in a different shade of pink. How fantastic. All pink. Not one red garment. She just picked out the least frilly, least pink, and leat girlie. What she was wearing now was the best she could do, but she still looked too girlie. She averted her attention to where Christian said Mr. Clark was. That man was always...suspicious. He did the most curious things. What on earth was he doing now? "Hello, there, Mr. Clark." she said politely. "That's a very nice ensemble you have there" she said smiling...no actually, trying to suppress a giggle. |
"Thank You" he murmured towards Christian without pausing, glancing sideways at the girl he was speaking with. "Not bad yourself Christian" adding a nod, he zoomed towards the tables. Knowing Christian he's probably going to chase him down with endless surprises. Yes, students can be scary sometimes. |
Kate casually walked into the Entrance Hall, and could hear the distant music coming from the dance floor. What a sight. Coming to something like this alone. Perhaps she would see a few people she knew and wouldn't feel so uncomfortable. Which way to go? Where the music was coming from or to where the food had been placed? Kate guessed that she'd run into more people where the food was -- So off she went. |
Heather walked into the entrance hall.A smile stretched out on her face. She was wearing a brown and pink shirt with a black skirt and a pair of heels. Her hair was colored brown and pulled back with some loose curls. She stood against a wall humming to herself. |
A Grryndor boy walked in and said "Hi Heather" Good game for us" Jaon walks in wearing a jeweled outfit, tight, jeweled cape, his blonde -red hair now coal black and slicked back and long black side burns, He had a scarve around his neck. This was THE King orf Rock and Roll of the 50's of the nuggles. He invented rock and roll. After all Jason is half muggle. He was the coolest cat of the 50's. "Heather you look very nice in yoru outfit" Jason says smiling at her. |
"Yes it was, thanks"she said giggling at him"Nice outfit Elvis."She pushed her self off the wall and walked over to him her hair getting hit by the breeze created by the swiftness of her walk."So what do you want to do first, eat or dance?" |
"I have some for us to eat. You can also share my milkshake like my great aunt Lily and great uncle- James did at their dances." Jason tells her. z " Meet me at the tables" Jason says. |
*Amos walked in feeling a little out of place. All he had was his training robes that were dark blue and golden yellow with a red lion over his heart. He smiled and looked around for people he knew.* |
Emily stood in the corner and waited for Ellie. She crossed her arms defensively - she really didn’t enjoy this kind of thing, but it was worth it to cheer up her best mate. But no dancing - hell would freeze over before you got Emily Greenwood on the dance floor. She glanced around at the small groups of students, spotting Amos and giving him a small smile, and some Gryffindor dressed rather oddly. She eyed the boy for a minute before looking around for Ellie. |
Jess was very excited about the ball. She went in the entrance hall hoping to see some familiar faces. She was wearing a lovely short green dress, and her hair was wavy as usual. She smiled at the students who were already there, waiting for a friend who could accompany her inside. |
Saylie entered and looked excitedly around. She tucked a stray curl behind her ear and patted the top of her head to make sure the arrangement of curls was still securely attached. Smoothing her hands over the lavender poodle skirt, she looked around the entrance hall to see if there was anyone she knew here yet. She noticed Willow off to the side, but saw that she was talking to someone, so she just raised a hand in greeting, not wanting to interrupt. |
Quote:
She looked around and found Emily "Emily! Sorry my late. please don't kill me!.. but I couldn't fine the stupid dress!" she said with a smile as she walked to her friend. "I look horrible with this dress and this black headband . Agr can I came back to the dorms?!" |
Davina walked into the ball in her simple black and gold dress and leaned against the wall. None of her friends were there yet and she was beginning to feel lonely. She looked around at every one hoping to see Matt walk in, that would definitely make the ball more fun.She sighed and continued looking around. |
Quote:
Emily smiled when she saw Ellie walking towards her wearing .. a dress! This was most certainly a first. “That’s alright, Ellie.” Ems said. She knew the girl had been annoyed about the quidditch result and wasn’t about to upset her again by getting angry with her for her lateness.. again. “Oh, no you don’t!” Emily said as Ellie tried to escape back to the dormitories. Emily had only come here to cheer up her friend… and maybe in the hope of seeing a certain fifth year Slytherin. “You look lovely, Ellie.. really. Nice dress.” Ems grinned. |
Matt walked into the entrance hall dressed in his dress robes and looked around at all of the students going to the ball. In the middle leaning against the wall he noticed Davina and he started to walk over to where she was. He walked up to her and said,"Hey! You look really beautiful tonight." |
Quote:
|
Davina smiled when Matt walked over and glowed as he called her beautiful. "Thank you, I was hoping to see you tonight."She took in his ensemble."You look very handsome in that"she said straightening the front slightly. She felt the tip of her ear heat up and knew she was blushing.Do you want to dance with me?" She couldnt remember the last time they danced together,..yes she could, their first year ball, that he had made special because he asked her out after that. The fond memories made her chuckle. |

Ellie looked at her, determinate to not upset her or even herself. "I'm sorry Emily. Not the most perfect way to meet you..." she said with a sigh then smiled "Sure, I haven't eaten anything for hours." |
Emily grinned. "Don't apologise!. ..I'm determined to have fun tonight no matter what. ..Lets go and see what the buffet has to offer." Emily said as she made her way there. |
Seth walked down to the entrance hall. He was wearing a white shirt, a black leather jacket and black jeans. He stopped in front of the door and stared at it. I definetly don't belong here. he thought. He turned back, prepared to leave, but then changed his mind and walked back to the door. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and opened the door. |
Cassandra led the way to the entrance hall. She swayed a bit to the music and held Alex's hand. She was craving to dance, wanting to be in his arms swaying but she'd wait for him to offer. |
Kaika rushed down to the Entrance Hall..she'd been late, as usual, pulling down her white-black stripes top, she was making herself ready to enter.. "Oh, why am I always running late?" she thought.."Thank God I doesn't happens for classes"..and with that she proceeded to enter the Ball.. |

Catherine entered in the entrance hall where some persons were talking. She walk in direction of the buffet. |
Will waked into the Entrance Hall and was suprised by how everthing had changed. "Well, this is...different." He said to noone in paticular. Might as well se if there's anyone I know here. He thought as he walked aimlessly around. |

Kate walked away from all the music and hub-bub of the ball along side Willow. When the volume had decreased, she felt she could think clearly once again. "Much better," she said with a sigh. "Having conversations in an environment like that can sometimes be next to impossible --" She looked over at her friend -- wondering if what she was about to say would change Willow's opinion of her. Kate had never been one about gossip -- and this wasn't actually gossip. Because it happened to her -- she wouldn't go spreading it around freely. What she needed was a grounded friend to simply listen. It was certainly a long story. "I kissed Josh -- twice" she blurted out. Well -- that a was a way to start it. |
Willow strolled out of the now, noisy and loud Great hall, along side Kate and stopped in the entrance of the hall, where, for Willow's suprise was quite and she could actually was able to talk without needing to yell, to be heard clearly. She listened to Kate's words, and looked at her directly. "You did what?" she asked, as her face was expresion-less, "Aren't you going out with that boy--er.." she was trying to remember his name. " Amos?" |
Kate made a face and nodded her head. "Thankfully, we're still together" she said, and shuddered as she remembered the look on Amos' face when he saw what happened. "It was rediculous," she went on and began pacing back and fourth. "I hadn't completely gotten over Josh, and we were talking for a really long time down by the lake -- I wrote a song for him and actually sang it. I didn't mean it in all romantic details -- I just wanted him to know that I was always going to care for him no matter what, you know? No matter who he dates or doesn't date --" She sighed and looked back to Willow. "I'm not the greatest with making friends --" she said quietly. "I still surprise myself when you greet me so warmly. I've never really felt wanted by anyone -- my family hasn't really helped me and it sort of closed me off. I came to Hogwarts with the intention of focussing only on my studies. Then I met Josh." "He was the one who started the process of me being comfortable with opening up to people. Letting them in, and caring for others -- and also allowing them to care about me. It's was a hard process -- and it's still going on. When he left me (one reason for not being open to him) for Tuesday I had regressed back to how I was when term first started. I didn't want to talk to anyone -- all I could think about was Josh." "Tuesday ended up leaving Hogwarts to send her cousin to spy on Josh to check his faithfullness. A huge misunderstanding resulted in Tuesday nearly strangling Josh and the both of them getting detention. That's when I had the inspriation to write the song -- Amos showed up -- and -- well --" Kate looked over to Willow with wide, unceratin eyes. She was expecting to be lecutred -- and if that's what it was going to be then maybe she needed to be lectured. Her behavior was nothing short of reckless and downright stupid. |
They were still together?, wow, he must realle care for her... Willow stared at her silent and let her finish. Josh. Willow thought that Kate had closed that chapter of her life. She thought that now, that she was going out with someone else, she was over with him. Appeareantly not. "Well, if it makes you feel better, my family is not exactly, the cozy, close family you would ever met. My father he--" she had never tell what she was about to say to tell Kate to anyone before, "He doesn't like muggleborns" she said flatly, staring at the emptiness "Or halfbloods, well not really halfbloods. But he doesnt really hang out with them much" Willow said after taking a breath. She had no idea if Kate was half blood, muggleborn or pureblood. That made Willow felt terrible, because she considered Kate one of her closest friends. "Basically, He can's stand a wizard that is not a pureblood, which is a very stupid thing actually. He believes that purebloods wizards ought to be with purebloods. That the purebloods for some reason are better than the rest".She had never opened up with this to anyone before, not even to Saylie. She took another breath and continued, "Purebloods, Halfbloods, Muggleborns. Same thing if you ask me, because as far as I know the fact that you come of either a pureblood family or a muggleborn family, doesn't make you a better person. Or wizard" she said tucking her hair behind her ears, "anyways, when I was sorted into Ravenclaw, my dad, he, he was not very pleased by this. He comes from a long line of Gryffindors and he was expecting me to be one as well. So you can just imagine how he reacted" She said bitterly remembering that letter, that had make feel worthless for days. "So, you can say that Hogwarts somehow, is kind of a place where I can be free of hanging out with whomever I want, and being friends with anyone I want to" She said smiling sadly Willow heard her talking about how Josh had helped her in feeling better, wanted. "Yes, that definitely sound like Josh" she said as a little smile appeared on her face. "He has the ability of making you feel better, when nobody else can" "Yes, I know that" she said quietly after hearing her comment about Josh leaving her for Tuesday because Kate wasn't open enough with him. She heard her talking about Tuesday leaving Hogwarts, her cousin coming to spy on Josh. "I know that as well, I was with him, skating in the lake the day she left. He was pretty heart Broken" she said remembering Josh's face that day. She had never seen him that sad. "Amos saw you two kissing?" she asked sounding more surprised than she wanted. "You wanna know what I think?" she asked to her friend quietly, and without waiting for her response she said, "If you havent gotten over Josh, I don't think is fair to Amos. I mean, I don't know him or anything, but I'm sure that he's a nice guy if he's going out with you, but, it's just too unfair for him, if you two are together, and you still have feelings for Josh" |
Sarah walked into Great Hall, all smiles. She was happy to be there, with all the crazy happenings around her, she needed this break, perhaps to mend the misunderstandings. And to her great surprise she didn't minded the dress she was wearing, it was so floaty and swirly, she giggled a the way she put it. Placing her hands on her hips, Sarah moved on.. to see if she could find anyone she knew. |
Jess was looking for some of her friends, but as she saw none, she thought:"Why not...make some new friends then!".She smiled and went towards a Gryffindor girl she knew just from sight(Sarah)."Hi,how are you?"she said as an introduction. |
Ben wandered into the entrance hall. He had been having fun, but the whole dancing part of the sock hop was starting to get old for him. He needed some music-less time to think, which was something he did not do much. |
"Hey Ben" Kayla whispered in his ear. "The music getting too loud for you to" she said as she walked around to face him. |
Ben jumped at the voice in his ear. He had not heard Kayla come up behind him. "Don't do that!" he protested. His sudden movement had given his hair good reason to flop across his forehead. He brushed it away impatiently. "Yeah, Kayla, the music's too...music-y," he agreed. "Is it too loud for you?" |
Kayla giggled at Ben's jumpiness. "Oh my Ben, I seemed to make you just a little nervous" she said smiling at him. "I can handle the music but I saw you come out here and I thought it might be nice to have a little quiet time together." |
Ben grinned. "Just a little nervous," he admitted. He wondered if he had heard her right...what was he supposed to say to something like that? "Oh," he finally said. That seemed to be about all he could say. Kayla tended to always have that effect on him. |
"Sorry I don't mean to make you nervous, I just like to say what I am thinking that's all" Kayla said softly. "And well I like you Ben, you're a really nice guy" she moved closer to him and took his hand in hers. "Tell me if I'm making you uncomfortable at all." |
Ben blushed. "Well, you're not really making me uncomfortable, just embarassing me with complements," he said. Hesitantly, because he had no idea how she would react, Ben covered her hand with his own. |
She felt his hand on hers and she smiled. It was nice his hand was soft and warm and she felt tiny flutters in her stomach. "I don't want to embarass you either but I like giving you compliments" she whispered. "How come we never got to dance together?" Kayla asked. |
Ellie walked out of the party, ball what ever it was. She felt the anger starting to came out and tears threatening to fall down her face. "I have a family full of liars!" She was into her thoughts that she didn’t noticed people were talking in there. “Aw, damn it, hell of day! I’m so sorry! “ she said to the boy that she had pushed. |
Jess turned from Sarah as she saw Ellie. It seemed she was not well at all.Jess went pale and ran towards her friend."Ellie! What happened?!?" |
Quote:
Kayla felt herself get pushed backwards as someone bumped into Ben, she looked up and saw Ellie and she rolled her eyes this girl was like a thorn in her side. "Nice entrance Bluebell" she said with sarcasm. "Can't you watch where you're going" as she grabbed hold of Ben to stop him from falling. |

Ellie looked at Jessica she didn't want to tell her everything "Jess, I'm fine, just a little fight with my sister..." ooc:brb ^^ |
Jess was very sorry for Ellie. The argue with Kayla just added problems,so she said:"Ellie, let's go sit down somewhere. You must calm down before anything else happens." |
Quote:
"Oh please that glass hit you in the arm and the cut wasn't that bad anyway, stop carrying on like a baby" Kayla said exasperated. "Another fight with your sister, seems she got the better of you this time" she said laughing. |

Kayla sighed. "Sorry Ben" she was not making a very good impression of herself. "I hope you're okay Ellie and you're not hurt and much as I'd like to continue to trade sarcastic jibes with you, now is not the time" and she pulled Ben by the hand over to a quiet corner. "Well that's a shame that you don't like to dance Ben, we could have had a really good time but then again I am enjoying this time with you also" she said playfully. |
Quote:
Ellie looked at Kayla, she wasn't helping. "You'r always so nice Winters.. I mean it! Put your nose in your own life!" she said rudely. Quote:
Ellie looked at boy with a grin, she knew him from somewhere "Oh, I'm already see you. but I have never the change to talk with you. I'm Ellie Bluebell. Nice to meet you." she turned her eyes for a little while to Kayla then looked again to the boy "Yes. She put me at the hospital and annulled one of my spells. " she said with a funny smile to the boy "So yeah, I know her." Quote:
She looked at Kayla when she said it wasn't the perfect time for that. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anything...." she said to Ben. |
Ben raised his eyebrows at Ellie. "Yeah, a pleasure, I'm sure," he said vaguely. "You must've really done something to bother Kay if she got you into the hospital." Ben stared at Kayla warily. "What? Don't plot anything now, Kay," he warned, "I refuse to dance." He looked at his feet, allowing his hair to fall in front of his eyes. Kayla confused him sometimes. |
"I've been ok,but I got quite bored of this party..."Jess sighed."I wish there were more people here.Anyway,I'm waiting for the holidays to come. The truth is it has been a busy term.Hey...do you want to come to the dancefloor? I'd like a bit of dancing for a change, but I dislike going alone. |
"Now would I do that to you Ben" she teased. Without thinking about what she was doing and taking herself by surprise she wrapped her arms around his neck. "It's really not that hard, all you have to do is kind of sway to the music" Kayla whispered in his ear. |
Quote:
Ellie raised and eyebrow with a half-smile "Nop, I haven't done her anything. She just broke some windows and I catch the glass." Quote:
Ellie gave Jess a weak smiled "Party.... I'm sorry Jess, but I just don't wan to get in there and see my sister..I'll just go to the dorms. See you latter Huffie" Ellie said to her friend with the best smile she could make at the time. |

erek walked into the hall and stood. |
James walked to Entrance hall in a trance. He continued to sway like a drunk sailor. Well, in a way, he was. He always thought that Root Beer was bad for you. He fell backwards and sat right back up. "There is one good thing about getting...uh...dazed, you didn't feel anything when you fall down" he said aloud, and just sat there in the middle of no where. |
As she walked by the hall , thinking on how much horrible her day was. "I think it would be better if I jumped of the divination tower..." she prepared to walked up the stairs when she noticed James sat closed to the stairs. "Erm James... are you ok?" she asked confused. "Ok, you were supposed to go to the dorms, fall on your bed and hug your stupid green pillow!" |
James snapped back to consciousness "Wha! Oh, hi Ellie. Um...I'm fine besides the Root Beer. It's trying to knock me unconscious. I just hope that I don't have any secrets that Root Beer might uplift from me" he said growling the last part. |
Emily wandered out of the ball and spotted Ellie with James. She skipped in their direction and giggled as Ellie bumped into some poor lad. “Ellie! Where HAVE you BEEN?” She asked in a silly whiney voice. “Oh, no. You’re not getting out of this that easily.” She joked. Emily knew that Ellie hadn’t wanted to come to the ball in the first place but was determined for her to stay. She grinned at James “Hiya." |
Quote:
Ellie made the best smile she could. "Your crazy, you know that?! Secrets? Oh, you have more secrets then the ones that I know..well that is interesting!" Quote:
|
"Hi" James said, well, that's all he could say. He was having trouble restraining his mind from telling everyone his secrets. This was phenomenal! He had NEVER told a secret and here he was having a hard time of it. ARG!!! |
Emily grinned. “Don’t worry about it. But you can’t leave yet. The night is still young.” Emily blushed a little when Ellie said she seen her dancing with Josh. “Oh Merlin! I can’t believe you saw ME on the dancefloor!” Emily had sworn blind that she would NOT dance. “Ah, but it was fun.” She said and drifted off for a second. She blinked a couple of times and looked Ellie in the eyes, it was suddenly obvious that Ellie was not ok. “Ellie. Is there something wrong?” She then looked at the Ravenclaw boy. He seemed a bit twitchy. “And are you alright?” She asked James. Something was going on here and nosy Emily would get to the bottom of it if it killed her. |
Quote:
Ellie stood when Emily asked her if something was wrong. Emily was having so much fun and she didn't want to ruin that, since her party was already ruined. She decided to smile and play it cool. She looked Emily in the eyes "No, I mean, there is always something wrong isn't it?" she said with her voice trembling a little. Quote:
|
Emily chose to ignore the comment about her and Josh looking ‘close’ but went red with embarrassment anyway. She looked at the ground, trying to hide her red face and looked up again when she had cooled down a bit. “Yeah, I suppose so.” She said. ‘Always something wrong? What a strange thing to say.’ “Well.. If you want to talk.. You know..” Emily said. She didn’t believe for a moment that Ellie was alright but this was obviously the wrong place to talk. She looked over at James again, raising an eyebrow.. What a strange boy.. Then again, most Ravenclaws seemed a little…. eccentric. |
Quote:
She looked at Emily with as she bit her lower lip controlling her stupid sentimentalist side about her family. "I know I can trust you Emily, but not the right place. If you really want to get back to the party and have fun, I'm not in the mood, but I'll join you...I just don't want to find some people you know.." She looked the girl in the eyes and said in lower voice "While you were dancing my sister appear... But I don't want to talk about it right know.." |
Emily‘s mouth fell open when Ellie said she‘d bumped into her sister. “That little witch! Is she the reason you’re upset!?” Emily was not particularly fond of Ellie‘s hufflepuff sister - she‘d spoken to Emily like she was dirt once and no-one spoke to Ems like that. No-one. “Ellie. If you want to talk, we can go somewhere a bit quieter. I can come back here later if I really want to” Emily shrugged.
