"It's okay really. I met him on our first night here and we had a thing going for a while but things turned out wrong and it went all pear shaped. But I just can't seem to get over him, I don't know whether you know him or not his name is Helios" she blurted.

"Aw, I don't know him, but he's probably real sweet. And if you can't get over him, isn't that like a sign that you should give it another shot or something?" Kayden advises, "I don't have much expierance, but I think things could turn out good for you. As long as he makes you happy."

I probably shouldn't have said that, she told herself, as she watched the color of blood rush to his face. Thinking before acting was never her thing and although she loved her instinctive nature, it was times like these that she wished otherwise. It wasn't as if she was afraid of him. Backing down from a little "fun" was never her thing either, but she did have a growing interest in him. She was so used to having things her way, that because he never let her have the last word, she loved every conversation they had. "Deep breaths now tiger," she told him as he appeared in front of her.

She blinked at him in amazement as he turned the tables on her. "Wait, what?" she blurted out, just as he snapped a picture of her. "What have I told you about touching my things, mister?" she asked, glaring at him and taking control of her camera once again. Biting her bottom lip lightly and feeling a tinge of guilt, she took a deep breath and nodded. "About as ready as I'll ever be. I'll make you regret this if you pull another one of your crude games," she added as an afterthought, as she grudgingly took grasp of his hand.

"Well I wouldn't call him sweet" Kayla laughed. "He comes from a different country and he's not used to our way of life. He doesn't quite understand girl's and feelings and stuff. But then you never know I might get him to come around to our way of thinking" she added brightening up a little.

Kayden smiled as Kayla livened up a little bit. "Hey, hold you head high, and take care of yourself, and everything else will fall into place. If you guys are meant to be, it will happen."

Theseus laughed softly as her hand tightly grasped his. It was more out of complete shock and outrage that she agreed to such an unexpected turn of events. From all that he could tell, he was the only one that could get away with such a thing. Though, it must be admitted that this was done so after a treacherous fight with her that would last the entire day, if not several. 'Now, I have the advantage' he thought humorously. She would probably not regain her strength after such a brilliant move on his part. "I believe you have said that I must not touch what is yours. But whatever has me on it, I must say is at the very least, partially mine," he said nodding towards her camera.

He slowly began to move from side to side, to build a rhythm before moving on to more complicated steps. "I remember years ago, when we first had the absolute pleasure of meeting each other, Rosalie." He did not refer back to this moment frequently but decided on that one moment as he saw her biting her lip with obvious guilt. "That was quite a vicious argument, don't you think?" His mind was only partially on the event that he was telling of and partially on the comment that she so boldy stated.

"well I'm certainly not dancing by myself Jayden. And whether Im ready or not you will do your dasterdly deeds anyways" She looked at him and smiled "some of us won't need fireworks to remember you. but carry on." she stood behind him plugging her ears.

"Yeah I guess that's true and if not oh well there are plenty more fish in the sea right" Kayla giggled. "Are you planning on going away anywhere during break?" she asked Kayden.

Rosalie rolled her eyes yet again as he cheekily answered her. "Would you like me to take the film out and shove it in your face then?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'm sure the passersby would love a corner fight disguised as a friendly dance," she added, and let out a low sigh in annoyance.

Rosalie was just about to let go and bid him farewell, when he began to sway...quite nicely. "When'd you learn how to move like this? Was this before or after the dungeon lessons?" she asked with a laugh, hoping to ease the mood. She smiled at him and was actually enjoying the moment before he brought up their pasts...

"Strike two," she mumbled under her breath. "You've got some nerve. You know, one day you'll realize that sarcasm really isn't your thing. On that day, you'll also realize that people are not all that horrible. Until that day, quit the nice guy act," she responded, and stepped back to glare at him. "Was? What makes you think that that was the end of it?" she responded, and began playing with her camera.

"I can't believe you are doing this. You'll get in trouble. Your so...insane." Becky kneeled besde him watching the fireworks. They were pretty she had to give him that. "I'm going to miss you little bro."

"I'm sorry to hear that. Don't you get on with your stepmother?" Kayla asked hoping she wasn't being too nosy. "I have to stay with my Grandmother for a couple of weeks and she lives in Italy. Mind you I don't know why because we rarely see her and I always got the impression she didn't like me all that much" Kayla said frowning slightly.

"Nancy wasn't very keen about my whole being a witch thing. Before, she never really like me, because I would rather read than follow her around like a puppy, but at least then she put up with me. After recieving my letter, she always yelling and throwing things. I have learned to try to block her out. But, for some reason, she makes my Dad happy, and he was so lonsome before. He never really did get over my mother's disappearance. I don't think he will ever love Nancy like he did my mother though." Kayden smiled at the thought of her mother. She was happy she had someone to tell, instead of keeping it all locked in.

"I've only heard good things about Italy. Even if your Grandmother doesn't like you very much, which i highly doubt, you can still enjoy the beauty of the country. I think I would like to go to Italy too one day. You must tell me all about next term." Kay grinned.

Becky smiled "yea I know, but if I say it then I will get used to it if you aren't here." She lay down beside him "I must say though, you did a very good job with teh fireworks. They are beautiful."

"Wow she doesn't sound like a really nice person. She sounds like she's jealous because you obviously take after your mother and she feels threatened" Kayla said seriously. "Don't let her get to you, soon enough you'll be of age and can do what you like."

"Yes well I hope I do get to see alot of Italy, I don't know what my Grandmother has in store for me which makes me quite nervous but I do hope I enjoy my time there. I can write to you while I am there and tell you all about it" Kayla said smiling.

"Yeah.." Kayden dazed out, thinking about the future. "And of course you must write." She pleaded. "I need contact with at least one sane person over break." Kayden laughed, even though she was quite serious.

Kayla laughed. "Well I don't know if you would call me sane, the things I have done this year but of course I am happy to write to you" she said still chuckling.

"I don't have a man remember." She looked over at him and smiled "but yes this sets the mood. but right now I would rather spend my time with you. Besides, I'll find a man...eventually, maybe next term, who knows. And my snogging is none of your business." she giggled and leaned over kissing him on the cheek. "you're lucky I think of you as a brother otherwise I snog you just to spite you."

"Well, can we really call anyone sane around here?" Kayden asked honestly. Kay looked around the Entrance Hall, "I'm really gonna miss this place, I will be happy to come back next term."

"Yeah me too" Kayla said looking around the entrance hall. "Maybe next year I won't blow anything up" she burst out laughing at the thought. Hopefully her temper will calm down next year.

Kayden laughed, unaware if Kayla meant that literally.

"oh you know you liked it. No need to lie to me." Becky giggled "I wouldn't want to snog you anyway. You probably aren't any good at it." She smirked then looked back up at the fireworks.

Kayla looked at Kayden. "You obviously didn't hear about Charms class did you" Kayla said with a sigh. "I got into an argument with a girl there and well my temper got the better of me and I shattered all the windows in the classroom. It was quite something else" she muttered.

"Oh." Kayden replied in a high voice. "Did you get in trouble? I sort of wish I was capable to do something so spontanious. Even at my most angriest moments, I would have been to afraid of the consequences. I sort of admire you, even if it was your temper. No one was hurt were they?"

"Well I didn't mean to do it but I was so angry that I swung my wand without thinking about what I was doing and the next thing I knew the windows shattered. One girl got a cut on the arm but it wasn't too serious but she hasn't let me live it down since" Kayla said sadly.

"I'm sorry." Kayden replied, "At least no one was majorly hurt, it could have been worse. I'm sure this girl will eventually come around and forgive you." Kay smiled slightly, trying to cheer her friend up.

Becky took and step towards him and stopped for a moment, arguing with herself. Shrugging she walked in front of him wrapped her arms around his neck and snogged him silly. She took a step back smiling and blushing furiously. "I umm...ok so you are..ok at snogging. I'll give you a 5 out of 10"

Becky looked at him rather surprised. "I umm you know? I don't really know to be quite honest. I mean I dunno. I must admit I was a little jealous when you were with Alie. Not like severely jealous but I think there was a little. I just hmm wow. I never had to think about this before." Becky looked at him and smiled "would it matter if I did like you?"

Jayden shifted. "Um.. well ... kinda see I got a girlfriend. Jai..." he aid looking down at his feet. "But if you would have mentioned it earlier.. you know maybe something could have happened."

Becky's smile faded completely "oh my merlin...you have a girlfriend. and I kissed you. I...I wouldn't have if I would've known. I feel horrible..." her face turned bright red "I shouldn't have done that anyway even if you didn't have a girlfriend. It was a stupid thing to do." pausing, she thought about his last statement. "I...I didn't know. I didn't want to get between you and Alie. You were happy besides I was dealing with losing Ryan and that hit me pretty hard. I'm over it now but before and then Sam came along and I just wasn't thinking about it. I don't think I really realized it until that day we were skating. But I did always like you. From that moment you fell on me I knew we would be friends. And even when I did kind of know I didn't want to say anything. I didn't know if you'd feel the same, and I don't handle rejection very well. I'm going 3 for 3 so I'm doing pretty good." She smiled slightly "I'm glad for you though. I really am. Jai is a nice girl. I just hope she doesn't hurt you like Alie did. You bummed me out when you weren't happy." After looking at him for a moment she dropped her gaze to the floor and played with her necklace, which she did when she was nervous. She spoke more quietly. "Now I wish I had said something but..well it happens. I just want you to know that I will always be here if you need me. Hopefully this doesn't umm complicate, for lackof a better word, our friendship at all." She turned away from him and diverted her gaze to the fireworks a single tear rolling down her cheek, but no more.

Kaika couldn't believe the term already ended, she was just beginning to catch up and then it was over. One thing was sure, she was happy to go and spend some time with her family, she really missed them a lot!.

She still remembered the first night at Hogwarts like if it was yesterday, somehow she didn't feel like going to her house table because it would mean that it really was over, at least for a while, either way she'll come back for next term, "You're being so dramatic! Just stop it" she said to herself, and then continued..

"That's what I was going to tell you. I don't think I'm ready for this either. He took back the ring."But can we still be girlfriend and boyfriend? Or are you breaking up with me too?"Jake said grimacing."Heather wait! Iwould never call you anything mean. I just want us to talk about ot. Meet me on the train?!?"

The fourteen year old second year, Derek, watched Heather and Jake. It was true he loved Heather more than life itself, but he had to do something. Derek had just heard 'You're breaking up with me, too?' from Jake. Too? He stepped out of the shadows.

"Too? ", he asked Jake , then turned to Heather. Derek eyes were soft and caring, his expression shown he was there for her.

Oli walked around the corner his eyes red from thr tears. he looked over a Emily who was waiting in the corner.
Oliver walked over but did not smile
"Well......i know what your going to do, just get it over with"oli said closings his eyes waiting for the slap he had been asking for.

Oli did not smile he knew she was going to say this
"i frankly dont care now why cant you see that i like you, at least comlament me about it, not everyone is this world it horrible you know"oli said geting quite angry " you'll be pleased to know that im not coming back here, im going back to my muggle school were i can be myself again,I HATE IT HERE" oli said now yelling at her
"i thought being your stupid blood line stuff wouldnt really care, but i thought i tell you so you could use whatever feeling you have ot maybe say goodbye, but i doupht that going to happen" oli said looking at her and turning away

"Bye Emily"

Becky rolled her eyes and smiled "yes and it's all because of you. I'm beginning to see a pattern. And I wasn't crying. one tear is not crying, what I was doing earlier, that was crying." She returned the hug and looked at him. "good because whether you like it or not you are stuck with me."

*Shocked*
 

Derek forgot about jake and ran over to Emily. "Emily, chill out. Just forget about him", Derek said soothingly trying to calm her down.

oliver didnt want to talk to Emly anymore he was going and that was that he had packed his stuff and he was leaving,
"I'm not a wizard Em im just a kid a normal kid who doesnt fit in the .....World if that what you call it, the muggle world is easy i like it there, is were i belong" oli said looking upset
" i hope you and your friends have a great time here, and well you hope you do find someone, better than me anyway" oli said looking at the floor

"You can cruse me and yelling pathetic names at me all you want, but ive said how i feel and well you dont want to know." oli said starting to cry

"I..I just dont know what you want Em.. you think im a secative little git.. but i...im not.. im a normal person.. i have feel...feeling..unlike some pe..people" oli said wiping away his tears as he threw his wand on the floor
"you keep it, i wont need it" oli said looking at her

Oliver quickly looked to see another boy walk over
"looks to me like youve found someone aready" oli said trying to fight back more tears

"Dude, I'm just her friend" he said to Oli.

"Your welcome" Derek said. He had not been insulted by her yelling since she knew he was trying to help.

Kayla watched the drama unfold before her with the two Slytherins yelling at each other. It was just like watching a soap opera she thought as the boy threw his wand on the floor. Kayla chuckled as she watched them and she thought her life had been dramatic but it was nothing compared to this.

Turning back to Kayden. "No I don't think Ellie is going to forgive me but I'll live with it, I can only apologise so many times" Kayla said. "Have you checked out the dance at all?"

Becky looked up from where she was with Jayden and saw Derek. "hey Jayden I'll be right back. I have to talk to Derek." she smiled at him and turned walking towards Derek. "so what's up? and future reference. me and bats uh uh not a good combo." she tilted her head and smiled

"what? oh I didn't realize I was talking that loud." she blushed slightly then looked at him "so umm...what about it?"

Becky looked a bit confused. "well it must have been something otherwise you wouldn't have sent me a letter to meet you here. so what is it, Derek?"

"And if I like you enough to ask you to meet me some where just because I want to be with you?", derek said, moving two inches closer.

Kayden also slightly distracting by watching the Slytherin drama. "No, I had planned on checking out the dance, I even planned to wear this really cute purple dress, but I've been too afraid to enter it. How about you? Have you been to the dance?" She asked.

Becky was taken completely by surprise. "Derek I...ummm wow." She blushed and looked at him. "I umm I...I don't even really know you Derek. We haven't talked a lot."

"I went in and had a quick look, sat at the tables and talked to a few people but that's about all. I don't think I'm ready to embarrass myself just yet by actually dancing" Kayla laughed. "We should sit together on the train on the way home just like we did coming here."

Beky stood there and actually looked rather appalled. She had been trying to be nice about it. Granted Derek was a nice guy, but she didn't like him like that. "Derek, I...I don't think I like you like that. I like you as more of a friend, than boyfriend." She looked at him. "I umm I just don't think that it would work."

Kayden laughed, "I'm not much of a dancer, but I do enjoy spinning radomly. It might be weird, but sometimes, at night, I'll go to the lake and look up at the stars and start twirling." Kayden blushed. "But of course I wouldn't do that in the middle of the dance floor, with people watching me. Oh and we must sit together on the train, it was so much fun!" Kay smiled.

"Yes.This is what I mean.Go find another girl one way better than me.I'm not taking the train home at least I don't think so.You can hate me for hurting you and everything I just can't do it.A girl like me is going to go to an all girl school and see if it will improve me at all.Actually I'm thinking of going to an all girl muggle school.Sorry,"She turned around and ended up facing Derek.

" 'lo Derek,"she said softly before slowly walking away from it all.

Kayla giggled, "Doesn't it make you sick if you spin too much?" Kayla asked. "You know you could start a new dance trend, we could call it the Kayden spin" laughing lightly Kayla turned to watch the awkward moment between a young Slytherin guy and an older Hufflepuff girl. "Doesn't look like that's going to turn out well" she murmured.

"scared? no I'm not scared. what is there to be scared of?" Becky looked at him. "I just don't think it would work."

"Oh yes!" Kayden laughed. "People all around the world be doing the Kayden spin. It will be the next big phenomenon!" She sacasticly joked. Then she turned to face the direction Kayla was facing. "...that's Derek, he's the one who gave me the rose." Kayden whispered, not wanted to be overheared.

Heather heard the foot steps behind her.She turned around and saw Derek"What do you want?"she had tears and her eyes and part of them were from her sore feet.

She watched him walk away going after yet another girl. "ugh you are so full of yourself and think every girl in this school is going to just swoon over you. Well sorry to burst your bubble but there are a lot more decent guys around here that I would rather hang out with than you. Get a grip."

She turned and stormed off back to Jayden. "well that as a waste of my time. Sorry about that."

"Oh my god, so it is. Hmm he seems to be quite the ladies man doesn't he" Kayla said frowning slightly. "Oh sorry Kayden, it's not making you uncomfortable or anything is it? We can go somewhere else if you like" she looked back over at Derek and watched as the Hufflepuff girl gave him a blasting and stormed off. "Bravo, well said" Kayla called out clapping her hands.

Cora spotted Marco and grinned. Running up behind him, she leapt onto his back and tapped her fist against his head, as though knocking a door.

"Alright down there?" She asked, laughing.

Becky heard clapping and turned and looked at the hufflepuff girl. She smiled and did a little bow "thank you thank you. not that saying it will makea difference but yea know...someone has to put the foot down." She then turned back to Jayden.

"You know what? I doesn't really bother me at all." Kayden starting smiling. "He just needs to learn to grow up. Its not like we were going out or anything, he just radomly gave me a rose, probably just like the 20 other girls. He just need to deflate his ego a bit... and yes I did have a little crush on him, but i think I got over it." Kayden was now smiling wide

Marco jumped. But knew straight away who it was. "Hey Cora. It has been a while since you have jumped me," Marco laughed, "I am good thanks. How are you up there?"


Marco looked at Heather. She didn't want to be near this Derek guy. She probably wouldn't want to be anywhere near him then. He attempted to remove Cora from his shoulders. Setting her down, "I'll be right back."

"Erm Heather are you ok?" Marco smiled, heading over to her side.

"I'm hearing ya girl" Kayla said giving her a mock salute.



"Well I'm glad to hear that because he is definitely not worth it. I've never seen anything like that before he sure does have a lot of growing up to do. I think we're more mature than he is" Kayla laughed. "Do you feel like getting something to eat at the dance or are you happy to stay here?"

"Hey Marco,"she said smiling"Im perfect now that my blisters are gone."She waved her wand and turnd her heel into some flats"So whats up?You know you still need to finish saying what you were going to say awhile back."

"I am getting sort of hungry. So if you want to get a bite, we can go, but it doesn't really matter to me." Kayden laughed as she used a dramatic tone of voice. ''Its all up to you. So much pressure."

Marco smiled, "I am really glad. Shame you got blisters though."
He smiled again, "Yeah I guess I do."

"Whats a few blisters,"she said laughing"So.."she loked down and slid her feet into her shoes"Go ahead and say what you must."

"Ummm what was I saying?" Marco muttered, "Oh yeah."

"Well I said, that we couldn't be together because of Jake. Because well you were engaged, and dating him. I don't know how the situation is now. And I don't know how you feel about me. And I also don't know whether you would be willing to get back with me."

"Ooh I don't know if I can handle it" Kayla chuckled. "Come on then we'll go the buffet and get some food" she said standing up.

"Uh well lets see.Me and Jake are done and over.I told him no I couldn't handle that."She began to blush"Well....I....you...I...um...."her stammering said everything in one sweep"As for getting back with you well..ummm...I would...ummm like..umm."She stopped talking and just stood there swaying back and forth.

Marco smiled, "Are you happy with the decision?"

He noticed she was blushing and stuttering. Had he said something wrong? "Are you ok?"

"Yes I think I did make the right decision.I feel so much happier now."She laughed"I'm fine her let me explain.Yes I would like to be with you and yes I like you,"she said smiling"That's why I was stammering just a little you know nervous its a bit hard to open up."

"I am glad you are happier," Marco smiled. His mouth dropped slightly. She did actually want everything he did, "Well...erm...you have just got out of a huge relationship. So erm...I don't want to suggest anything, yet."

Heather laughed shaking her head"That's the same smae thing you said last time."She shook her head and bit her lower lip which was becoming a very bad habbit lately"So how long this time must I wait?"Her smile was still planted on her face and her head was tilted sideways.

"Is it?" Marco laughed, "Well I want you to be ready. I don't want you to rush into anything you may regret."

"You actually think I'd regret something as much as I regreted agreeing to what I just ended.What I regret is ever letting you go and allowing you to let me go."She said her smile there and a laugh admitting some what.Her eyes shined a bright blue as she searched his face.

"You regret our break up?" Marco smiled, "So do I. Because nobody has ever seen me the same way you have. And I miss that. And you were such a lovely, caring person. And I miss you." He smiled and pulled Heather into a hug, "I am sorry for letting you go."

"Well thats how I grew up.Caring."As he pulled her into a hug she smiled"I missed you to.I forgive you."
