Whende gaze slid across Kerry and down the snake she was wailing about. After giving Geleira another quick stroke, she hopped out of her seat and attempted to coax the hot snake into her glove-clad hand. |
Curt nodded and write down the notes on Occamy Eggs in potions, pretty impressive. Curt looked up when a Gryffindor girl jumped up and ran across the room, the ashwinder being where she was sitting. Curt shook his head and laughed a little and looked up at the professor. |

"Forms in magcial fire... crawls into cornes to lay eggs.... colapses into ash.... eggs set hut on fire..... What? Eggs set hut on fire?" He looks back up at the proffessor not knowing if he should speek up. |
Potions! Aha! Complex ones too! Gem thought happily and wrote this down. She saw everyone making a fuss out of the cute little ashwinder. An hour up and it'll be gone she thought sadly and wondered if she could help. But she decided to let Professor Maline take care of this- she was the expert after all. Gem's goal was to become an expert on Magical Creatures, maybe educate people about them, especially the ones with frightening low numbers. |

Kerry looked over and saw her house mate tame the snake. Embarrassed, Kerry thanked the girl and slowly rose up looking around to make sure he was still captured and then sat down at her desk once again. Kerry looked up at Professor Maline. "Sorry Professor, Guess it just freaked me out a bit," Kerry said, laughing a bit at her silly behavior. |
Sarah raised her hand and said "The soft and pure silver was used for alchemy back in the olden days and probably is still used to this day" |
Jasmine watched Kerry jump out of her seat and away from the wondering Ashwinder.Discreetly she leaned down and whispered. "Bad snakey! You really ought not scare people like that." Then she glanced at Kerry again and put her hand over her mouth to hide her smile. "Don't worry Kerry Prof. Maline won't let you get hurt." |
Em didn't blame Kerry for jumping and went back too taking notes |
Jeff settles for keepping an eye on the Ashwinder and being ready in case it tries to hind in a corner. Most snakes back in east Texas try to keep hidden but this one likes the lime light. |

She turned to her desk, and picked up a box full of ice, and glowing red eggs. |
Kerry settled in her chair, her face turning as red as the scarlet on her robes and her heart still beating fast, thanked Jasmine for the kind words and looked around and saw the many faces trying to hide smiles, and broke into a fit of laughter, apologizing yet again for her reactions. Then she looked over at Whende and gave a special thanks to her housemate and new friend! |
Kirilia beamed happily. Talk about a lucky guess! She quickly it down. A sudden commotion made her look up, the Gryffindor prefect, Kerry, who she only knew by face had almost leapt across the room. She peered around her class mates to see an Ashwinder hissing and smoking ominously on the floor. She looked quickly at Professor Maline and wondered if she had noticed it yet. Perhaps she should say something... |
Vince looked at the girl who was terrified of the creature, seeing the Ashwinder crawl up to her desk. That was very freaky, hoping the professor would clear this problem, now. He saw its red eyes look into his, quickly moving his bean bag a bit. Looking at the professor, he got out his wand incase something bad happens. He put it back into his robe, knowing the professor will easily take care of this since she was a professional on doing this, but the girl named Whende had already taken care of it. |
"ooooo Ahswinder eggs!" Jasmine said in awe. |
Whende's face turned dark red. "Er, you're welcome then," she said to both the teacher and prefect. She slowly returned to her seat to allow Professor Maline to take a care of it. Geleira was attempting to slither off the edge of the desk. "Uh-uh," she said, gently grabbing the snake and moving it over. Kay, make that go to the lake right after class. |
"I want each of you to come up here, and take an egg from me, make sure that the box you have it in has plenty of ice please!" She called walking over to Whende to relieve her of the Ashwinder. |
Jasmine took her egg and made sure she had plenty of ice. |
Cora got out of her seat and walked up to the front of the classroom. She grabbed a box with plenty of ice in it, and put one Ashwinder egg inside. Cora then turned around and walked back to her seat. |
Aurora approached and took an egg. She packed it in plenty of ice. If there was an accident to happen, she didnt want to be in the middle of it. She carefully carried her egg back to her seat and waited for directions. |
Kennedy did as she was told - she walked up to the desk, retrieved a box full of ice and a bright red ashwinder egg. "Thank you Professor," she said as she walked back to her purple bean bag chair. |
Touy walk up to the Professor and got and egg surrounded in ice it seemed cold and warm at the same time. I like this water proof box she thought to herself. I wonder how soon the egg will hatch. |
Curt got up from his seat to go get one of the Ashwinder Eggs. He looked down inside and there was a bright reb egg surrounded by ice. "Cool" he said and returned to his seat. |
AJ stepped up out of her desk and went over to Professor Maline. This class was getting more and more interesting. She took a box from the stack and filled it with ice before taking an egg. These eggs were glowing, literally glowing, a bright red color, which made AJ wonder a bit why they were glowing, but shrugged it off as she did so. Care of Magical Creatures had always been one of her favorite classes, and this class only helped her feelings toward it, so far at least. |
Sarah walked up and collected her egg and said "Thanks professor" she went and sat back down and made sure she had plenty of ice |
