Welcome to the Ravenclaw Locker room. Along the wall you see lockers to store your school robes during matches. You see loads of magical pictures displaying past Ravenclaw players. There is one of Roger Davies on his broom flying high over the Quidditch Stadium. Another one show Bradley dodging a bludger. Cho Chang is shown holding a snitch she caught to seal a Ravenclaw victory. You can see Aris performing a outstanding save to keep a Ravenclaw lead. A picture of Ron Potter, last year's captain has joined the wall displaying all Ravenclaw captains from the past years. Ravenclaw colors of blue and bronze are everywhere. New Quidditch equipment and robes are here for the new team to wear and use. There is a entrance to the pitch too.
Come in, take a seat, and sign the clipboard going around. This is an open tryout. Past members do not yet have a spot on the team. All positions are currently open. Flexibility, participation, talent, and sportsmanship will combine to decided the positions on the team. Sportsmanship is valid for the Ravenclaw team. We all need to agree that not every call will go our way and move on. The Ravenclaw captain is in charge here. They will inform me of any problems.
After you sign the clipboard, you need to wait until your captain explains how tryouts will held.

Serilda ran her fingers through her hair and wiped some sweat fro her brow as she entered the locker room. "Good job you guys," she said, passing the Seeker and Chasers. She decided to just go for a walk; she put her broom on her shoulder and headed out to the grounds to go sit and cool off from the match. She was very annoyed with herself; there were many times through out the match she could have done more, she was angry she didn't. Hiding her emotion, Serilda left the locker room.

Lexy walked slowly in behind them, staring ahead and putting on a smile for them all. She blinked back the tears and gave Kay a great big hug, along with Matt. "We did great, who cares if we lost, right? There's always next year..." A flicker of hope gleamed in her blue eyes.

Lexy had inconsiderately placed her beater bat on the floor and was unstrapping her pads when she saw Kay. She squeezed her eyes shut, she knew how much Kay had wanted this. Sucking up all her strength she straightened up and looked at her, smiling weakly and hugging her tightly, whispering, "I'm sorry. I know you counted on this. I promise we'll get it someday though."

Serilda, realizing she had forgotten her helmet on the bench, returned and picked it up. She glanced about and saw the somber mood of the place. She bowed her head; she felt like it was all her fault. "Don't be so down, Kay. You're not the one who should have stopped all those goals from going in," said Serilda. "You and everyone else did really well; don't get down on yourself. You'll get the Cup before you leave Hogwarts, believe me. You're the best Captain there is. Don't hate yourself for it."

Thank you guys for being great sports and playing so hard in this match. The staff of SS is very proud of you and you should proud of yourselves. You did an amazing job. I look forward to seeing you guy on the pitch next term under Kay's leadership again. She will be the Captain of next term's Ravenclaw team. Until then do well on your finals and enjoy the break betweeen terms.

Kay knew that she need to say something encouraging but all of her emotions were numb at the moment. Somehow, she managed to stand up and her commanding voice returned in this darkest hour. "We have nothing to be ashamed of. Each of you played your very best out there on the pitch and no one gave up. I am proud of each of you and when you leave this locker room today, stand up straight and hold your head up high. We are Ravenclaws and we shall overcome this!" She paused and looked at each of the team members. "We are Ravenclaw!" she enthusiastically shouted and pumped her fists into the air.
A few moments had passed, and the trance-like state overcame Kay once again. She walked over to the showers fully clothed and turned the water on. Maybe the water would wake her up and she would find out that the game was only a bad dream.

The cold water was refreshing, but that numb feeling at the pit of her stomach was still there. "Will someone please tell me that this is a bad dream brought on by spoiled pumpkin juice?" Kay pleaded in a garbled voice because of the water that kept running into her mouth as she spoke.

Kali ducked her head into the shower and saw Kay, soaking wet, "I would, but I would by lying to you. Kay, you did excellent. You're a great captain. Slytherin was just luckier this time. We still got second, that's still good. Now get out of the shower and dry yourself off before you get a cold, we don't want our captain sick when we could be celebrating our second place victory."
