"Sure," Jo looked at her notes, "a good-sized paragraph discussing your thoughts on what makes a wizard 'good' or 'bad.' - may also be a detailed list."

He thought for a bit, "does this have to be opinion or what was covered in class?"

"I think it's a philosophical question, really, I mean, it didn't seem like Professor Rae was trying to give us a checklist of good qualities and bad qualities, just the opposite actually, it seemed more abstract. It was more of a class discussion than a lesson of facts."

"So I would be ok giving my assessment of good and bad as long as it lined up with hers?"

"I don't think Professor Rae is that kind of teacher," said Jo thoughtfully, "Borr probably is, but not the Headmistress. I think it's more that we should give our opinions and support them well."

"OK, I'll work some on finding the answers. What direction would you suggest I begin?" he asked her.

"It's like trying to define the nature of good and evil I guess, how do you define an evil witch or wizard? and go from there."

ooc: time for me to try to get to work, through a blizzard i might add.

He thought about what she had said and nodded and looked at her notes to see what he could discern.

Sabrina walked into the library heading toward the study tables. She took a seat, grabbed a book out of her bag and set it down on the table.

Meghan strolled into the library looking around. This was an odd sort of place...wasn't it. She continued her stroll until she saw Sabrina. "Hey Sabrina...isn't this an odd sort of place...i mean- OW!' At that moment Meghan ran into a bookcase and almost knocked it over. Luckily only 3 books fell off. "Ugh!" She cried. "Who would stick a bookcase in a Library!" She picked the books up and set them on the table. She sank into a seat across from her and sighed.

She gave a small giggle. "Yes, Meghan, a strange place inddeed. So, how are classes? Did you go to Transfiguration yesterday?"

Meghan looked up and smiled. "What? Oh...OH NO! I forgot...we had transfiguration. Oh...he is going to be sooo mad, isn't he...oh....did you go?" She said. She didn't think she went, she couldn't remember going.

Sabrina nodded. "Yep, I sure did. We turned kittens into hats. Mine turned into a cowboy hat." she giggled. "It was quite cute."

Meghan smiled. "Ooh, that sounds like fun...." After a moment she saw the stack of books on the table. Their titles were: Perfect Pest's and how to Pester your Perfect enemies, Enemies Beware: seriously silly stunts inside, The best curses to curse the evil. Meghan gave Sabrina a funny look and said, "I don't think I want to get on your bad side..."

She followed Meghan's gaze and laughed. "Oh, those aren't for me. I suppose they were left here by someone else." she peered at the titles. "Whoa, someone must be planning revenge against somone. I hope it isn't Julie she thought.

Meghan sighed. "Oh...whew...good to know." She looked around the room. "Hmmm...I wonder why there are so many books in here." She said it more to herself than anyone else.

She reclined in her chair, glancing around the room. "What did you say?" she asked as she heard Meghan mutter something under her breath.

She looked up confused. "Oh, did I say something...huh...it's funny I don't seem to remember..." She pulled out her homework from her bag and started to work on it.

ooc: umm gotta go..be back in like an hour or something...

She made a notation in her notebook and then said. "Homework, good idea." she removed a few books from her bag.

ooc: k!

ooc: the blizard didn't kill me!

ic: "If you need any help with Arithmancy just ask, for reasons I can't understand, I've been doing well in that class." Jo offered.

Dru entered the library quietly with an owl on one shoulder and her bag strap over the other. She found a spare table and sat down, grabbing the nearest book as she went. She grabbed a quill, some ink and a scrap piece of parchment and set them all on the table.

Nes hopped off of Dru's shoulder, onto the table, and watched Dru write a note. After a few moments, she seemed to get bored and decided to alternate which foot she stood on, almost turning it into a new form of jig.

When Dru had finished her note she looked up to see Nes apparently dancing. She couldn't help but let off a slight grin and she attempted to tie the note to Nes' leg. Once she had finally got it on, Nes looked at her expectedly.

"That's for Rave," She told the owl. No sooner had she said the name, Nes was off.

Nes came back about 5 minutes later but there wasn't a note or Rave in sight. Dru decided to give her fellow Slytherin the benefit of the doubt and started reading '1001 ways to clean your home with Charms' to fill in the time gap.

After what Dru felt to be quite a long wait she closed the book and looked around. "She's still not here." She told her owl. "If you fly a bit slower this time, I'll follow you."

Nes hooted in response before taking off and flying out of the library while Dru hurriedly packed up her bag and rushed out after her.

Lumus looked at all the notes she had taken and was feeling overwhelmed, which was appropriate considering how little he had actually been able to accomplish. He thanked Jo once again for her help and got back to writing.

ooc: Yay! I'm glad...you would definitely be missed.

Lala propped down in one of the oak tables. She brought up her thick letter. It was from her folks, the first letter they had ever written after sending them a bunch of it. She took a deep breath and opened it... There she found not one, not two but five letters, just stacked up into one envelope... So they did write to me all these time she thought again But why only now, did it lost its way here .. she read the first letter and then the second up to the fifth. Now, after finishing the letters, she chucked and giggled.... So thats why, they dont know how to send it to me, the mailman sees no address, it somehow invisible to them magically... they forgot to use my owl Skipperlaru .... she started to write them a new letter....
