A piece of parchment, appearantly forgotten, is found on the floor.

Julie walked into the library, she wanted somewhere quite to do her homework, she came here because she couldn't do her homework in the gryffindor common it was really crowded. She opened her arithmancy homework and started at it and started it. There were a couple of students and a huffelpuff girl arguing with a ravenclaw girl. julie imersed herself in homework.

Nice serpent, I see we are both mistaken. You obviously think I'm someone else, and I mistook you for a person in authority. It must be your forceful ways.

Dru stayed quiet for a moment, ignoring the other girl and trying to think of a way to carry on the conversation without treading on her feelings too much.

"Ummm... yeah, I'm Dru. 'Spose it's good to meet you now, under better circumstances." She didn't like Ashlie one bit but it seemed like Diana might so Dru kept her thoughts to herself. She was also aware that 'Little miss Nosey' was still there.

Suddenly, something caught Dru's eye near the desk that Peony was sitting it. "I guess they are," Dru replied half heartedly. "My worst subject is Herbology so at least you have the upper hand in that area."

Dru picked up her bag and walked over to the Desk where Peony was at, stopping on the way to pick up the piece of Parchment. She sat down opposite the other Ravenclaw and read it:

She looked over it a few times, confused yet with a slight hint of anger.

Peony looked up as Dru sat beside her, her eyes dropped down towards the paper the girl held in her hand. Quickly, Peony flicked a look up and down it. She had a talent for speed reading. Her eyes narrowed. "What is this?"

Riiya walks into the library and head straight to the Study Section. To her surprise, her sharp eyes caught sight of a parchment on the floor.

Col Mustard? she's heard of him before...no, not the actual "Mustard" sauce...she remembered Riyon Mentioning it. how he finds certain figures in the school suspiscious. bleh.

Riiya pulled out a chair and placed her books on the table. She opened to her page and dipped the given quill into the ink bottle, starting to write a few notes on what she read about D.A.D.A...

"I don't quite know..." Dru answered, not looking up from the parchment. "It's by the same people as last time. They seem to like mentioning Lainey." She finally looked up at Peony, "And no, it's NOT me that makes these. Not this time or last time."

"Relax," said Peony, her eyes going over Dru's face. Gradually, they widened, resuming the habitual look of near maniacal calm. "I didn't think you wrote it." Neatly, she plucked it out of Dru's fingers. "You found it near me. I would have noticed someone put it there..."

"Give it back!" Dru blurted out, snatching it from Peony's hands and stuffing it in one of her pockets. "Never take stuff from me like that again." She really did look mightily peeved this time around.

Dru took a few seconds to calm down slightly before carrying on. "I got blamed last time for these. It's only because of Shwmae that I wasn't subjected to Virohsa's detentions."

Peony glared at Dru, her hackles rising, shock merging in with irritation. "Why are you suddenly so paranoid about a note like this?" she asked, her fingers tapping out a rhythm atop her neglected textbooks.

Go carefully here. I doubt this girl would really care if she had to blast you into the books.

I'll blast her back.

"You should be thanking me." Dru replied back without missing a beat. "I'm stopping you from getting a similar reputaion to me as far as notes go in this school and all you can do is start acting obnoxious."

She leaned back in the chair and ran her hand through her hair. 'Some people have no manners.' Dru thought.

Obnoxious? Peony and her Voice, for once, chimed disbelievingly together. Peony's fingers had stopped tapping, partly because she had curled them into a fist. She had been angry before, but it had mainly been at people she didn't like or respect. She quite liked Dru. "I'm not the one acting like a brat here," she said, perniciously. "And I don't really care about my reputations anyway. They can have the tatters left. Give that note over, I want to take a look at it."

Dru was about to respond to Peony when she realised that they were being rather loud and would probably be ushered out by the librarian or worse.

"We're getting too noisy." She told the girl, trying to keep her voice level. "If you really want to carry this on, I suggest we go somewhere else."

Picking up her bag as she went, Dru stood up and exited the Library, not caring if Peony was following or not. After all, Dru was the one with the note and It was going to stay that way.

Peony steamed a few minutes, then leapt up and strode after Dru, her textbooks under her hand. If Peony ever got married, if she ever got a baby, and then got into an argument, she'd still probably carry the child around. To use as a weapon.

After all, Dru had the note, but Peony was walking behind her with a whole stack of books!

Ooh, that perks me up.

Peony smiled slightly - it was more of a smirk, but that's overused - and followed the girl out.

Her arms full with the six books she had picked off the shelves, Nabiya sat down at the study tables. Riiya was there, but she looked busy so Nabiya just said a silent "Hello" to her before randomly picking one of the books.

Charms to Connect and Protect, she read the title over again and decided it was worth a try. She wished Linny or Drusilla was here as well, that way they could get this over with as soon as possible.

She turned the first page and read on, her heart beat picking up occasionally when she thought she had found the spell, but only to slow down again when it wasn't.

Halfway through the third page she realized that she would need something to test the spell on, but her bag was in the dorm. Deciding to go and get it, she left her books there with a note

Riiya looked up. it was Nabiya who said hi

She waved and said "hi" gently. She hadn't seen Nabs in a while...partly her doing for waking up late and studying most of the time. She didn't quite understand what changed her to be so....bookworm now. Its not like she loves reading books or studying. its just that she feels like she must read everyday!!

When Nabs left, she glanced at the books she left. deciding that maybe its better, she got up and dragged the pile of books closer to her side just in case. The quarrel from the girls about some nte were getting louder at one point. She wasn't worried for her. just worried they might do something...hurtful. She shook her head and continued to mark down her notes...she did notice something peculiar about her notes...nearly all of them were not School related!! There were stars at the side of each ones regarding moon creatures and "thirst" cravings of creatures....this is definately weird...she tried to recall if maybe the class did talk about this....she can't quite remember...again now, she's feeling tired...and its only been one hour...indeed books arent her calling but they sure are "calling" her to read...

Grabbing two books on the way, Rome made his way to the study table. He hadn’t actually been here purposely before, he didn’t really like the idea of studying but as of late he felt he should do some studying eventually if he wanted to win points for Slytherin.

He looked around for a second at all the other people here studying and opened the huge book about DADA, putting the care of magical creatures to one side, he figured if he read the more interesting one first he wouldn’t want to leave as much.

Linnea entered the library and looked around. She had no idea where Nabiya was or even where to start looking. On her cursory glance over the room Linnea spotted Riiya, who seemed to have a huge amount of homework for so early in the year.

"Hello Riiya, how are you today?" Linnea asked somewhat nervous. She and Riiya hadn't had exactly the best relationship since they met three years ago....

Nabiya came back into the library to find Linny there, "Hi, I thought I'd get a head start, I found these 6 books, but I think we might need to check some more."

She turned to pick up one of the books but it wasn't where she left it. She looked around and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was with Riiya, "Thanks, Rii.." She said, sitting back down in her chair.

She then pulled something out of the pocket of her robes and showed them to Linny, "I had to get something to test out any spells we might find, so I got a pair of earrings..they should do for now."

Alyssa walked slowly into the library she had jus woke up and wanted to get some studying done so she went to library to get it done. She sat at the table near the window and got out her transfiguration book and started to study.

Riiya looked up. "hi Linnea. i'm...-" she looked down at her notes again...giberrish.

"-i'm apparently marking the wrong notes again..." she reread what she wrote...totally not School work related...whats going on?? "...erm, and you? did you enjoy the ball?..." she just had to ask...or rather it just slipped....conveniently...

Then soon after, Nabiya came. "no problem Nabs," she said before pushing the books back at her side.

Without no reason at all, she got a sudden feeling like she did something wrong...not with her notes...with...something...or...someone...this feeling was a little...odd to come now...she looked at the window...

Linnea smiled sympathetically, "I know how that goes. I spent an hour trying to do my Potions homework and finally realised I was using my Transfiguration notes for it. I couldn't believe I had done that." She shook her head. Gah. PDA. Guh, Potion masters all over the place....

She smiled at mention of the ball, "Yes, I did. Thank you, Riiya. For teaching him. He told me it had been your idea."



Linnea smiled, "Good idea. At least one of us has her head on straight. Those first years are giving me a headache." She sat down across from Nabs and Riiya and grabbed a book.





Linnea noticed a change in Riiya, she looked up at her and frowned. She seemed........preoccupied, yes, but....there was something else too. Linnea could probe into Riiya's mind, but........felt that she shouldn't. There didn't seem to be a reason for it. Riiya was probably just stressed from the homework load.

"First years straight to seventh years.." She muttered as she chose a random book to browse.

Then she noticed Linny watching Riiya, so she turned to watch the other girl too. She looked tense and worried, laying a hand on her shoulder Nabiya asked, "Something wrong, Rii?"

Riiya gave a small smile and stared back at Linnea. "he's being his modest self. i did teach him. he asked for it. his idea not mine. i just told him to sweep you off your feet once in a while thats all..."

She continued to look up. "hm?...oh nothing...i think...i feel like i did something...i dont remember..just this feeling..." She tries to shrug it off.

"Then it was your idea" Linnea smiled, "If you hadn't said anything, he probably wouldn't have done it."

Linnea looked to Nabs, then back at Riiya. Oh, if only Cass were there! "You feel like you did something, but don't remember what?" Linnea was confused, Riiya didn't seem the type to party like that. "Have you been outside much since term started?" Stupid question but..............maybe she just needed fresh air?
