Professor Virohsa nodded. "Very well, you two are dismissed", she told them in her usual cold voice. She waited for them to leave her office before turning her attention back to her paperwork.

Frowning, still a bit at lost of what had happened, Nadia finally bowed her head in a kind of nod before standing up and start moving to the door. All the while as surprised with the professor's reaction. But then again, what did she really wanted? Getting detention?

Though minutes before she wouldn't have minded to get locked up, a more rational part of her brain considered that was not the peachest way to spend her nights... though a detention would give her a break from her overwhelming list of activities... was it as weird as it sounded, thinking a detention tempting?

Jaren rose wordlessly from his seat and left the office, his next destination being Professor Lainley's office.

An owl flew into the office and handed the professor a letter that reads

Professor Virohsa was working on the class outline when an owl fluttered in. She took the package and the note and thanked the owl.

With a hint of curiosity, she read the letters and smiled. It was certainly a nice touch. She took out the Sneakerscope and placed it on her desk. She immediately grabbed a parchment and wrote a thank you note to her student.

After leaving for the Greenhouse for a couple of hours.. she was finally back. She walked towards her office with Alex following behind. She took out her wand and immediately, her door opened. After all, it was always better to be cautious about her office. She opened the door and waited for Alex to go inside first.

Alex entered Professor Virohsa's office and glanced around. She had been there before, because of Selena. Now that she thought about it, maybe she shouldn't have come here. After all, there was only one Professor that she really trusted in the whole school.

The girl started bobbing on her feet but made no motion to sit down -- unless she was asked.

After she had walked inside, Professor Virohsa closed the door and walked towards her desk. "Come, dear. Sit down while I prepare some energizing tea", she told her. She opened one of the magical drawers and pulled out a speficic type of leaves. The aroma of these leaves immediately gave you strength and helped you feel better.

Professor Virohsa poured the leaves in a tea kettle and waited for the tea to be ready. "Don't worry. You will feel better in no time", she said encouragingly.

And once again, paranoia was taking over. Her eyes narrowed slightly, she took a seat where Professor Virohsa had gestured. Alex stared intently while the Professor was preparing the tea, trying to follow her every move.

"Professor, what's kind of leaves are you putting in the tea?" she asked curiously.

There was another thing -- nevermind.

Professor Virohsa looked at Alex and gave her a small smile. "It is known as Jatoba, or for its technical name Hymenaea courbaril. It acts as a natural stimulant and energy tonic, which tones, balances, and strengthens overall body functions", she replied. "But don't worry, I'm only giving you about 2ml of its chemical... Oh, unless you want me to teach you how to make it?", she asked the girl.

Alex gave a quick nod. "Sure, why not?"

What in the world was she doing? Not only did she go in Virohsa's office and agreed to drink her tea, but she was now actually getting interested in this stuff. And even though Herbology was defintley not one of her strongest subjects, this was a good time to learn anything and everything she could.

Professor Virohsa gave Alex a small smile and took out her wand. She immediately casted a spell that cleared her desk and the tea that had been brewing.

The desk now had some hot water in a tea kettle, some leaves that had already been cut and look fresh, a measuring scale, and a cardboard with a picture of a tree and the leaves that were present. Professor Virohsa motioned Alex to look at the cardboard picture, while she explained about the leaves.

"The Jacoba leaves are usually found in the Amazon, which makes them Rainforest leaves.. They are part of the Water Element Category we have been studying thus far. The tree that you see, can be used as incense or its leaves can be used for tea.. they both have the same reaction: giving the person strength, energy, vitality, and helping their body come to its balance", she explained. "It could also be used in spells and potions, to add that effect on your potion or spell", she added.

"Well, what you do have to keep in mind, however, is the quantity you are pouring in your tea. For best results, it is suggested you take it twice a day with a quantity from 1mg-3mg but no more for each time", she added. "And that is what you will be doing", she explained.

Alex listened intently as the Professor spoke. After a few seconds, she grabbed her bag and took out a quill and a piece of parchment. This would more than likely help her in one way or another.

"So this tea is kind of like a Muggle sports drink -- well, sort of? I mean, it gives you more energry and you don't get tired as easily anymore, right?"

"And what would happen if people took more than they are supossed to?" she added, as an afterthought.

"Should we get started on it? Or did you already finish it?" Alex asked, with a blank stare at Virohsa. She actually wanted to try and make the tea herself. Hesitating for a second, she spoke again. "Also, Professor, I was wondering if you ever have time -- if -- well, maybe I could come for private lessons in Herbology. I don't think you usually do this ... but I really want to learn more about the subject. Besides, it's not one of my best ones, anyways."

Professor Virohsa nodded. "Most plants that we use in magic.. are also used by muggles. So, in a sense, some muggles do use these plants. However, the use that they give them will never be as powerful as the one we give them.. since we have magic", she explained. "If you add more than usual, then you will be unable to sleep.. you will have too much energy and your body won't reach a balance", she explained.

She nodded and replied, "No. I haven't done anything yet. You can do it, dear.. And yes, we can always schedule some independent time for you".

"That would be nice, thank you Professor Virohsa," Alex replied with a small smile on her face. She had defintley judged Virohsa before she even had the chance to meet her. Heck, she might turn out to be her favourite Professor in the end. And besides, they would have to get along sooner or later -- especially since she was the Slytherin Head of House. And no matter how much denial she was in at the moment -- the girl had to accept the fact that she liked Virohsa.

"So, do I just pour hot water over the tea leave .. or, do I --?" she half-finished her sentence and blinked, almost stupidly at Professor Virohsa. Alex didn't have a clue as to what she was supossed to do.

Although, a light-bulb went off in her mind and she immediately thought of someone who might need this tea, too.

Professor Virohsa interpreted Alex's behavior as merely confusion. "Ah, well.. you make sure the water is hot first.. Then.. carefully... with those tweezers [she pointed at the ones in the table] add about 3 small leaves to the cup, which would be about 3mg. Then, yes, add the water", she nodded. "If you are going for a weaker dose, add 1 leaf or 2", she explained. "So, how much would you like to add?", she asked Alex. After all, this tea was supposed to help Alex feel better after being attacked by numerous plants earlier that day.

"Three leaves would be fine," she replied simply.

"Also, can we make a bit more because I know of a few people who might find this tea useful as well?" From what she had noticed, Zekke and Jaren had looked rather tired lately. Actully for the past three weeks. Surely some tea would help them.

"Some of the plants in the Greenhouse are evil," Alex remarked lightly and gave a small nod. "What our next lesson on, Professor?"

As she was talking to Virohsa, she warmed up the water with a flick of her wand and picked up three leaves with the tweezers that the Professor had pointed to earlier. Carefully she dropped them in the hot water.

Professor Virohsa nodded. "Very well, if you think that they would appreciate it, we can just add more water... keeping still the same 3 leaves. That should be enough for at least 5 people.. as long as they have one cup and no more", she explained.

She listened intently to Alex's remark and grinned a bit. The plants could be quite the handful. "Ah, yes. Some of the plants are too difficult.. Some of them are quite the pranksters", she replied. "Next class we will be examining fire and air based plants", she said. "It should be quite the interesting challenge. Especially with the air ones", she said with a glint of amusement in her tone.

Alex nodded. With another flick of her wand, she stirred the leaves and the hot water until it turned into a light green color -- it almost looked like mint. When she took a sniff of it, she realized it smelt very good as well.

Now that she thought about it -- erm, Jaren would more than likely not accept the tea, considering his level of paranoia was even higher than her own. She could try, nonetheless. After all, he had been looking really tired lately. But the first time Alex had really noticed it was when they started duelling.

"So, no biting plants?" she asked, her eyes twinkling.

Professor Virohsa shook her head. "No biting plants, dear. You can rest easily", she added. She watched Alex handle the mixing and the tea brew.

"Good to know," she said and muttered incoherentley, "because of there were, you wouldn't be seeing me there." Once she finished stirring the tea, she -- err, wait, there was no bottle or anything.

"Professor, do you have anything I can put this in? Maybe a vial or a small bottle or something?" Alex asked politely and scanned Virohsa's office carefully.

"Also, when do you want to set up some independent lessons? Anytime would be fine for me -- but I know you're pretty busy most of the time."

Professor Virohsa nodded as she opened one of her drawers. She pulled out a bottle container and gave it to Alex. "Here you go dear, just keep in mind that one serving is one small cup", she reminded her.

"Ah yes, well, we could meet in the Greenhouse, since most of the elements that we will need will be there", she explained.

"Thanks Professor," Alex replied and took the bottle. Carefully, she poured the tea into it and pocketed it, but not before taking a gulp out of it. She didn't even need that much right now, I guess just talking and resting a bit helped a lot.

"Greenhouse 17?" she asked curiously. "Or are we going to a different one?" Well, er -- at least she had some interesting memories from Greenhouse 17.

A couple of days after the Greenhouse work and before the next class, Nadia walked to Virohsa office and knocked at the door, waiting to be let in if the professor happened to be in in the first place.

Professor Virohsa nodded. "I think.. we can go into the Greenhouse we always go into.. that should be allright", she said.

A few seconds after that, someone knocked on her door. "Come in!", she stated loudly.

ooc- perhaps we can just use the normal greenhouse. The thing is I'm usually quite busy so I dont think I could do it all semester long But, we can do it there.
