Professor Kotkin peered into Kristal's orb. "Kristal, you must concentrate to see more clearly into the orb. The rose is a symbol for love, romance, beauty.... it is a good sign to see. If it is some other flower like a tulip, the meaning could be the same, but it could also stand for simplicity as well. It is when we combine the images we find in the orb that we are able to find a clear message. Is there anything else you see?" |

The vison slowly becoming clearer and clearer she saw it was a tiger, it looked rather calm and kind like an oversized kitten. Below it there was another animal one with bright sliver eyes, when it came into focus Heshasa saw it was a snow white wolf, oddly enough it was snarling. Inbetween them she saw it almost right after the yin-yang sign. Thinking it could be a balance between good and evil she stared questioniglly at professor Kotkin once more she waited to hear her fate once more. "Heshasha, the tiger symbolizes the inner strength and fierceness of a hunter, whille the wolf symbolizes the greed, hunger and savagry of a hunter. Together with the yin-yang which is the interaction of opposite and complementary principles, it seems you need to learn to balance your hunger and desire for what you are seeking with your own inner strength and fierceness to do what it takes, no matter how long it takes, to get whatever it is that you are seeking. Simply, don't let yourself get lost in the hunger or greed, but do what it takes and persevere to the end." |

"Ah, I see you've had a vision of sorts... a broom is it? A broom could stand for beginnings, and if the rumors I hear are true, there could be some truth to quidditch returning to Hogwarts! And by the looks of it, I'd say you can start looking forward to playing a part on the Gryffindor team!" |

Patrick looked up at Professor Kotkin, she seemed to think he would have something to do with quidditch. He was sure yet but if so he would play hard and be a good member of the team. Soon hopefully things would be annouced.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Ganymede Craft Slytherin Fifth Year | :: Ganymede gazed into her own orb. "I see a tree. Its a tree.. with alot of leaves falling. And.. I see.. is that clouds?" She asked as she gazed a bit fearful in her own orb. "Why are all the leaves falling off?" She felt uncomfertable looking at it. It almost looked as if the tree was dying. ::

Professor Kotkin smiled down at Patrick seeing the desire he had to be a part of Quidditch this year. She had loved playing quidditch herself in her days at Hogwarts. She slipped her wand from her robe discreetly so that no one could see and flicked her wand towards Patrick's orb. Suddenly there appeared a snitch streaking across the orb. She smiled again as Patrick sat watching it, and then slipped her wand back into the folds of her robe. |

Patrick's eye saw a snitch in the orb. Even the small space of the orb it darted and spun around the orb as if was the quidditch pitch it's self. The more his eyes followed the snitch the more he saw other quidditch things. Three small circles seem to appears and a figure chasing the snitch. The more Patrick watched the bigger the smile was on his face.

Well, the tree itself symbolizes health, strength, and is related with all life. Falling symbolizes change or letting go, possibly of something that is not working. The leaf itself symbolizes new life. Clouds represent that you might not be seeing things clearly, you have doubts or a problem of some kind, or maybe your are illuding yourself about something. It would seem that you have problems or doubts of some kind that you have been imagining to yourself that they don't exist. It seems that you will finally face these problems or doubts you are having, letting go of them and starting new, thus helping you regain the strength and health you may have sacrificed during the struggle." |

Ganymede made a weak, "eh" noise. She knew exactly what the Professor was talking about. She slouched in her seat and wrote what she saw in her notebook. And this is why I love Divination. It helps people so much.. as long as they know what is going on. She thought to herself as she doodled a picture of the tree and clouds. ::

Perking up at her second fortune and contemplating it, she drew a picture of each of her visions. Heshasa then looked up wondering what we were to do next.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jennifer Kaye Wilson | Jen gazed into her orb. For a minute all she could see was the classroom behind her. She started when she thought she saw a face in the orb. Upon closer inspection, she realized it was her own reflection. Feeling silly, she looked around the room hoping no one had noticed. Once again she stared into the orb hoping to glimpse something other than herself. Much to her surprise she she saw a white rose, a gold ring, and a star. She drew what she had seen on a piece of parchment and raised her hand. "Professor, what would all these symbols mean?" she asked.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Mari Elizabeth Allen Fourth Year | Mari gazed into her orb quite bored. She'd never been able to see anything though she concentrated a lot. The truth was that she loved the class, but her concentration was sometimes dragged away from the place. Suddenly a shadow apperad in fog. It was a human, but he looked injured like daying. Mari put her head even closer to the orb feelig a nod in her stomach. The fugure fell to the ground. He moved for some seconds and the stopped as if hitten by a stunning charm. The scene dissapeard. There were some minutes in which she just continue staring at the orb. She noticed a cold sweat coming down her face. She closed her eyes and looked away again. It had to be trck. She continue gasing at the orb with a lot more interest now. |

Adz looked into her orb carefully. She grinned as she saw the clear shapes of a tree and the sun, but then she jumped slightly as she saw a huge grey cloud come sweeping around it.
"Er...professor? Is this normal?"

Looks into the orb, getting worried. "I wonder if what the Professor said is true. I wonder if something bad's going to happen to me if I see a dragon in here...?" She trailed off, looking absolutely distressed now.

Rosa gazed in her orb. but all she could see was the orb itself and the misty insides. it was hard to keep focused for such a long time. and tiring too... slowly rosa began to doze off. she was just about to close her eyes for a long, very long blink when she saw something in the mist, but the next moment, when she jumped up and looked in her orb all awake again, there was only mist. she stared into it wondering what she'd just seen. it had wings... she imagined that moment and decided it might've been a butterfly, so she grabbed her quill and wrote down 'a butterfly'

Patrick continued to study his orb. He so wanted the orb to be right, quidditch was a passion for him and he loved to play it.

The color white usually stands for purity and honesty. The gold ring could symbolize a wedding, or even just a change for the better. It could be a halo though, which would symbolize an angelic presence. The star could also represent heaven, or some joy, even prosperity or recognition. Together it would seem you have someone who is pure of heart, or even angelic as the signs reveal, whose presence may inspire you to make some changes to better you life. It could be in the form of true happiness or in some other way you will prosper." |

I would wonder if you haven't had a premonition of some sort, but there is an explanation for what you see dear. If you see a man or a human figure, you should look to their appearance, and anything that may be around them. Look for any other symbols that might be present. If he is falling, that usually means that you need to let go of something that is not working for you, to make a change of some sort. The fact that the figure is a man represents a male energy, or just creativity of some kind." |

"Er...professor? Is this normal?" "is what normal? Let's see, first you see a tree. The tree symbolizes good health and strength. Then the sun here represents health as well as creative energy and heat. Now clouds that are heavy and dark could represent some kind of misfortune. If the clouds were behind the sun and the tree, it would seem that your health will take a turn for the better, that is, if you have been feeling badly at all dear. If the cloud was overshadowing the sun and the tree, it could be a warning for you to be careful. If you will be flying your broom, playing quidditch, or practicing your dueling skills, I would take care. This could be a clear warning for you to watch your step and stay clear of others who might be sick." |

"proffessor look!" said luna hloding her hand up "ive just seen something amazing!" Professor Kotkin turned to Luna. "That is excellent Luna! So you've seen yourself, in a chair, and reading a book, but then falling out of that chair. Again, I would wonder if you are having a premonition. The chair could represent being held, the need to take it easy, or simply... a guest. The book stands for information, education or discovery. Oh, I like discovery! That's what divination is all about. Falling means changes, letting go, or something not working in your life. If you say you were in the common room, that could represent your home at Hogwarts which could stand for shelter, success or family. This is alot to put together. I would say you will receive a guest, possibly a family member or close friend, who reveal something to you that will help you to let go of something that has been holding you back from feeling 'at home' here at Hogwarts. It seems you may have some fears about someone at home that will be put to rest, allowing you to enjoy your time here more freely." |
