Congratulations to all of you, no matter which house you were sorted into, as well! I see that a few of you have made comments such as "I can't wait to roleplay in the school," or "I can't wait to roleplay in the Common Room." I just wanted to point out to you that you can actually start roleplaying right now in Diagon Alley! You can send your charrie to Diagon Alley to purchase school supplies and meet new friends!

The SnitchSeeker school progresses the same way the real Hogwarts does. Right now, we are all in Diagon Alley. Pretty soon, that will close to all students, and we'll all catch the Hogwarts Express (threads will open up when it's time to board the train). As soon as we arrive at the school, we'll have the Start-of-Term Feast. Finally, the entire school will open up, and you'll be able to enjoy the Common Rooms, classes, and other exciting areas of the castle.

I encourage you all to stroll on over to Diagon Alley as soon as possible and join the fun!

I must say that I am a little shocked and hurt to read this post. Not only as a Slytheirn but as a SS member. Not that I don't hear negative things everyday but that you would just jump to all sorts on conclusions without taking the time to get to know any of us or the house.

But I am truly sad that you feel that strongly about us and hour house and you haven't given us a chance to show you that Slytheirn is the best place to be But I am more sad that you feel the need to work towards destroying us instead of building us up.

Personally, I think Slytherin is a lovely house. I have met and kept so many lovely friends from Slytherin. They're dedicated RPers with much creativity and there is no doubt in my mind that if you just give it a shot you'll love being part of the Slytherin Family.

Hmm, wow! Lots of Slytherins around here. Which is good. I dunno if it was just my imagination or something, but I felt like there was a seriously odd lack of Slytherins around last term. But maybe I was just looking in the wrong places.

Slytherin was actually my second choice if I'm honest. It's a nobel house who wouldn't want to be in it? There's so many good Slytherins, and they're so much fun to RP with. Actually, my charrie William has more Slytherin friends than any other House.

Let's just say that calling it 'ugly Slytherin', 'stupidest house on the planet', 'eternally condemned house of stupidity' AND 'failure of a house they call Slytherin' is not the best way to let people think you actually don't dislike Slytherin. You were VERY well welcomed into your house, it's up to good to give it a shot or not.

I'm very disheartened by some of the comments made in this thread. So, I'm going to say this once...

If I hear any more RUDE complaints about any house or its members, I'm going to start handing out warnings and infractions like sugarfree candy.

You may not like the house you were sorted into initially (though I bet you'll grow to love it in the end) or you may not like that a person has been sorted into the house you're already in, but please keep that to yourself and out of this thread.

That may sound harsh, but it is my job as an admin to ensure that the members on this site can enjoy their experience free from criticism and hostility. I fully intend to do so.
