Ronan grinned brightly when he heard that he would be working with Marina. He felt honored that she had back him to research ways to cure cancer with him. He observed as Marina gave Severia the chance to choose what disease she would be researching.

Marina smiled at the cheerful Ronan. "I really want this to bear some fruit," she told him, with a bit of worry in her eyes, as she waited for Severia to choose. Hopefully, they could all get to work, after that.

Now, to get down to work.

"It would be easier to work, navigate through the research and stuff, if we form groups. Hannah - would you like to work on Dragon Pox, since you suggested Pox? Harochida, you can pair up with Hannah -- Ronan, you with me, we're going to take down cancer... and Severia, who would you like to work with? You can work in either group, so you have a choice, here."

She gave Severia a little smile, as she fell quiet again.

Sounded like a busy day, this one!

Well, Ms. Marina, if its okay with you, I would like to work with your group. I have more experience with cancer than dragon pox.

Ronan nodded in agreement, the prospect of finding a cure for such a disease would be groundbreaking but for Ronan, also a little discouraging because he would've found a way to cure his mother who had been dead for 20 years or so now.

And so it would seem that it would be Marina, Ronan, and Severia working together on finding a cure for cancer. Ronan clenched his jaw and looked around the chamber trying to find something to concentrate on so that he wouldn't get called out for looking upset.

"Well, to begin with," Marina said, with a soft smile - to encourage them, right? "We need records. The thought process behind what you make - whatever you make - goes down in paper. That's very necessary because, later on, we might have to go back to that. The results of what you make, go down in paper, too. Because that way, we can see where we've been going in the right direction, and where not."

She took a deep breath, then went on, "We're going to have to go into some of the details of these diseases, if we want to find something that can help treat them, or certain aspects of them. Dragon Pox, for example, can leave a really lasting, greenish tinge. Which means we need something to counter that effect of it. We have lots of potion ingredients that can help do that, but we're going to have to see which ones - which combinations, too - might work in this case."

She flicked her wand, and two workstations appeared in the Death Chamber. "Work on cancer over here, please?" she said, pointing to one. This was going to be tough, right?

Ronan listened to Marina's instructions and headed over to the station where she pointed was going to be where cancer was working. Rolling up the sleeves of his white button down shirt, he leaned against the table waiting for the rest of his teammates to show up at the table so they could all start together.

Ronan nodded along as Marina explained what they should be thinking about in regards to what were important to begin researching the disease of cancer. 'What was the most important aspects?' he thought to himself thinking back to his mother's time of illness. He was so young that it was hard for him to remember.

There was something called a tumor that was the main reason why doctors or Healers looked to see if the person had cancer. He wrote that down on the list and continued along.

Severia thought for a while of the many signs and symptoms of cancer and wrote a few of them down. There were so many factors to consider, so many different types of cancer. Maybe they should have started with a specific type.

You didn't get into the Death Chamber if you didn't prove your skills. If these two were here, it was a proof of their ability.

She knew it was kind of impossible to come up with a miracle, all at once, but they could find some sort of starting-point, a general combat potion perhaps.

His jaw was clenched thinking of Pandora and what he would do if she ever became so ill. It was really difficult for him not to be able to speak with her on his projects but their scheduled vacation sure would take his mind off things.

Marina was pretty much done with her share of work. Not that she was satisfied with it - but she knew she never was, never would be satisfied with her own work, so that was sort of okay.

Severia sounded very unsure of her suggestion. She only hoped the others in the group didn't think it was as stupid as she did once she said it.

Emily picked up her paperwork and arranged it neatly. She showed the neatly lettered paprework to Marina. "Does this look okay?" She asked.

Harochida looked up from his paperwork. He had been concentrating so hard that he didn't notice everyone else preparing to leave. He wrote one last thing on his paper and and handed his list of alphabetized Dragon Pox symptoms to Marina. "I hope I've done this right. I wasn't sure how you wanted us to organize everything."

She settled into a chair, and imagined the darkness that was falling, outside. She would be able to see it, as soon as everyone else had packed. That would be such a delight - she loved solitude.

... as much as she loved the spotlight.
