Shane caught his boss's look and took a hint.

Here let me take one of those he offered, reaching for a brain, against everything he had ever been taught.

He had kindof understood what Alice had said earlier, but, um, hello?

WHY NOT LEAVE THE BRAINS IN THEIR HEADS!?!

This would take some getting use to, he thought, glancing awkwardly at the jar in his hands...

DH grabbed some jars of brain and helped the Brain Room peeps to transfer them. He was glad that his new employees are eager to help too.

He then heard Alice asking what the Death Chamber unspeakables do. He is trying to see if anybody will answer her.

And as if he is tired of the silence, he cleared his throat and said, "Like the Brain Room's study and care of the Brain. The Death Chamber is the one responsible for the study of Death. In this room, we have the Veil which is a partition between life and death." he said looking at Shane, for DH knew that he is new among the group.

He smiled at the lot and proceed in carrying the brains.

Hannah walked nervously into the room. She saw a note on the door that said there was a new division head. "Um,I'd like to speak to Mr.Smith please,"she said.

Ronan glanced in the glass before he headed into the office. He hoped he looked professional enough in his dark sweater and cordouroy pants. Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. He stepped into Daniel Henry Smith's office with a serious look on his face.

"Mr. Smith? I'm Ronan Cavanaugh, I'm the new member of the Death Chamber department." the young man said in his inescapable Australian accent. His glance went to the other people that were in the room and he felt his face tinge slightly red.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt you. . ." he apologized to the women who were standing there talking to the man before him.

"Um well,today is my first day. What would you like me to do?" Hannah said.

DH was in the middle of his discussion with the group when he heard a woman's voice. Which he had never heard before. He looked at the direction of the office of the DC's division head which he occupies now, and saw a blond girl on the door looking for him. He was about to speak when a second person, a guys was also looking for him. He was becoming popular.

He looked at the people around him and smiled and said, "I will get back to you in a moment. I need to talk to these people." he said looking at the direction of the newcomers.
He approached the two people and said, "Hello, I am Daniel Henry Smith. DH for short. I am the division head of the Planet Room and in-charge of the Death Chamber." he said and then smiled at the two people.

"Well Hannah and Ronan, as I myself is quite new to Death Chamber I cannot tell you more about this room but that it research about death." he chuckled a little and said, "Join us. We are helping the Brain Room transfer their Brains from our turf to theirs" he chuckled again. He hoped that he didn't give a wrong meaning with these new recruits.

"So, as you may have studied, the Death Chamber research about death and anything related to it. We also house the Arc of the Veil which is, like I said, is the partition between life and death. Hear that?" he hoped they do hear the voices from the veil. Because he can!

He looked at the two gleeful and then to the door. Hope he can be at the Planet Room too!

"Ok I'll help," Hannah said.

Ronan listened quietly for something that was apparently coming from the Arc of the Veil. He gasped for what he heard appeared to be voices, whispering not really clearly enough for him to make out what they were saying but he could definitely here them.

"How exactly are we supposed to transport them?" he asked with a furrowed brow as he looked at DH.

Alice simply nodded, giving DH slight smile of gratitiude. To be honest it seemed like she should have already known that all ready though. As yet another new employee marched up, Alice's first reaction was too blink. They were popping up everywhere weren't they? Without another millisecond in the passing Alice plastered on a friendly smile. "It's okay." she assured him. "My name's Alice Sumner, Division Head of the Brain Room, pleased to meet you."

Annnnd with that said Alice carried on moving the containers, making one more more trip. However when she swiveled around the second time...Ohhh wow.

She honestly hadn't been aware that some many fresh faces would be entering the Death Chamber (Perhaps she needed to talk to Becca about getting more people for the Brain Room?). At least their first task was simple. And they'd get a chance to meet some people that weren't in their division at the same time as meeting those in their own division...

"Hello." Alice greeted her, her smile wearing a bit. "I'm Alice Sumner, Division Head extraordinaire." she introduced herself, a polite tone still clear in her voice, though it was rather evident she'd gotten a little sick of repeating the sentence. Alice being Alice, she was still perfectly kind about it though.

Looking at the Ronan man as he asked how they were to move the Brains, she decided to respond. "With your arms. Don't try to use a spell to move it or the protective spells on the container will kick in. Don't want any of them to get stolen." she explained calmly, patting one of the containers to her side. "Ready?" the woman asked, looking brightly to the group.

"Ready," Hannah said.

"Right." Ronan replied as he took one of the containers and held it as delicately as could be. "Ready when you are Miss Sumner." he said with a cheery smile.

DH chuckled a bit and smiled at the bunch... Well, he almost laughed. One didn't know how to use his hand and the Division head is like a broken record... Well that is bad of him to think that way...

And then he thought, he should be the extraordinaire... He holds two office for crying out loud.

"Uhm, well, by the way. Where have you been working before this job?" he said looking at Hannah and Ronan.

Alice gave the others a soft smile of gratitude , glad they were working on getting the containers moved at last. They were making a great deal of progress, and she could tell that it shouldn't be toooooo much longer before they finished.

Wiping a bead of sweat from her brow and flinging it away, she continued, having half an ear for the conversation going on around her.

"Well I was travelling around the world with my father." Ronan replied with a furrowed brow. He wasn't exactly sure if DH and Ms. Sumner thought he was going to be more than a minion under their thumbs. 'Probably because I'm just fresh meat.' he thought to himself with a sigh.

"He's an ambassador from the Australian government and he was stationed in London while I was at Hogwarts. He tried to get me to take over his job but I don't want to have to pick up and move my family like he did." he explained. "But travelling around was fun, and I hope to do it every once and awhile."

"I taught at Baubaxtons for a couple of years," Hannah said.

DH smiled and said, "I love to travel too." he paused or a moment, "I used to travel before my best friend and his wife died. Now I am mentoring and taking care of their son, my godson. And we travel every now and then." he said looking at the brains in the container.

"So, where have you been so far?" he asked.

DH nodded, he was impressed with the diverse culture of the employees in this division, "I am very impress. So what subject do you teach?" he asked.

And now it is that time where he felt obliged to say his background. "My turn." he chuckled, "Like I said, I travel a lot before my best friend and his wife died seven years ago and after my medicine and law studies." Come to think of it, it is that long ago now? "Then, as I am mentoring my godson for Magic and his muggle duties he inherited, I worked as a research officer for the Romanian Dragon Institute. After a year, I was promoted to Assistant Head and after another year, as the Team Leader." he paused for a moment reminiscing the times. "When my godson, went to Hogwarts, I left my job to look after him and settle in London, going to Romania every summer. I landed a job in the Maintenance Department and after a year and a half, I became the Division Head for the Planet Room." he said with wide eyes. Even he cannot imagine that was his work history.

"Charms." Hannah listenede as he told about his work history. "Wow, that's a lot. You must have been busy."

"Ireland, France, Germany, South Africa, United States, and back to Australia." Ronan replied listing each country off on his fingers as he had set the container filled with brain down at last.

"I'm sorry to hear about your friend and his wife. I know what it is like to lose someone close to you." he added thinking now of his mother who he had never met.

DH nodded in amazement, "Ahh, so you know your way with Charms, eh? As for me I had a term teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts in Durmstrang but I never liked teaching." he said. "Especially in that place." he then begins to chuckle.

He then listened to Ronan as he state all the places he had been too. "I would advise you to go to Polynesia, New Zealand, and Iceland. It is marvelous there" he then nodded and smiled at him when he took forgiveness for the death of his friends.

"It was an accident. My bestfriend was in a mission and his wife was from a backfired charm." he said. "They are both Ministry of Romania employees."

Ronan grinned at the elder man's suggestions. "Quite an array of places to be sure, but when I have a chance to travel again I will be sure to keep those in mind. Have you traveled much yourself?" he asked, hoping to take the subject off such a saddening topic as death and accidents.

DH nodded as his new employees are starting to get relaxed with the atmosphere inside the Death Chamber. He looked at Ronan who seems to be very keen in travels, "Hmmm, well i have been to the the US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay and almost all of South America, South Africa and the whole of Europe and now is deciding to tour the whole of Asia this summer with my godson... But I like Romania best" there was a small pause and then he added, "And Great Britain of course."

"But you know what fascinates me in these travels?" he added after some time. "Is the creatures that i see." he grinned at all of them.

"What kind of creatures have you seen?" Hannah asked. "Have you seen any Dragons?"

ic: Ronan gave a small nod understanding what DH meant by seeing different sort of creatures. He had seen a fair few of what Muggle's would call mythical creatures in his travels as well but had never really taken any crazy interest in the beasts.

Well that really stirs up things a bit. And then Hannah commented a little. "uhm, well, as I have said, I worked in the Romanian Dragon Institue for some time, so yeah, I have seen all sorts of Dragons." he said trying not to brag about himself.

"How about you, Ronan? What sort of creatures are you most fascinated about?' he asked Ronan.

"Well growing up I had a house-elf, her name was Minnie. She was such a dear." Ronan replied with a bright grin thinking of the elderly elf that had taken care of him after his mother had passed away and his father had thrown himself into his work. "And I think centaurs are rather amazing." he added stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"All the prophecies they believe in and Astronomy. It's just a new look on life." Ronan explained.
