Hellywhooo everyone!! My name is Shirel and this is my second fan fic (my first is called A War of Love) and it is going to be about a Draco/Hermione ship that is taking place during there seventh and final year at Hogwarts. Dumbledore is dead and all that, basically up till now it's all like the books.
The characters are:
Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Ginny, Neville, Luna and possibly more of J.K. Rowling's characters.
If I have any spelling mistakes or I write things that don't make sense, please tell me so that I can, with your help, improve my spelling and vocabulary.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own any of the characters. They belong to J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter novels.
And now for the first chapter: Chapter 1- The beginning of a new year: "Hey look, there's Malfoy getting kissed goodbye by his mother!" said Ron laughing.
"Oh get a grip Ron!" said Hermione, "I don't understand why he even came back."
"Let me have a look," said Harry moving passed Ron to stair outside the train's window. "He sure dosen't look to happy. Wait 'till I can break all of his bones and crush them to dirt!" he said angrily.
"Don't bother," said Hermione, "You'll just get yourself expelled, anyways he sure doesn't look to happy to be coming back."
"Yah, I bet his mom made him come back." said Ron and at that second the compartment door slid open and a very pretty girl with flaming red hair came in with a bright smile on her face.
"Guess who I just ran in to?" she said while taking a seat next to Harry.
"Who?" they asked.
"Neville and Luna kissing!" She said happily, "They're going out!" She giggled.
"Wow Gin that's terrific!" exclaimed Hermione, "They had it coming."
"Neville and Luna?" Ron just sat there looking dumb, "Out of all people he chose her?"
"Ron! What on earth is your problem? Just because you don't have a girlfriend doesn't mean that the whole world has to feel sorry for you!" Ginny snapped. Ron was silent.
"I think it's great that Neville and Luna are together. I mean Neville's liked her for ages." said Harry suddenly.
"How do you know all this?" Asked Hermione.
"Neville told me." Said Harry a little uncomfortably.
The train gave a little rattle and slowly started to move away from all the waving parents and siblings and as it started to pick up speed the compartment door slid open for the second time to reveal a tall blond haired boy with a pale face, cold gray eyes and was very much more muscular than the last time they had seen him.
"Hello Weasels, Potter and Mudblood! Didn't think you were coming back this year." He sneered. Harry and Ron stood up so fast that Draco took two steps back.
"Scared Malfoy?" sneered Harry. "Surprised you even dared to come back this year and with out your fat freinds, Crabbe and Goyle," he added.
"I'm surprised your not out their looking for the the Dark Lord, Potter!" he said coldly.
"If I didn't feel bad for your poor muscles and good looks, I would have killed you right on the spot!" shot Harry. Malfoy took one last look at him and left slamming the compartment door behind him.
Ron high-fived Harry. "Good one mate!"
"Thanks!" Harry grinned and then hugged Ginny.

Hey everyone! I was sooo busy today! I had to stay late aftter school for another lesson that I'm taking and only got home late. But as promised, I am posting! I would like to thank all my wonderful and loyal readers for reading and still sticking with me even though I am really slow! 
This is only part of the chapter, the rest will hopefully be up tomorrow. I am really sorry!!  Chapter 9: ~ Hermione’s Secret Admirer~
“You’re saying he actually helped you?” Ginny asked.
“If you ask that one more time I’m going to throw you into the lake!” Hermione threatened.
“Okay, okay! I just can’t believe the guy that used the Cruciatus curse on you offered you help!” she exclaimed.
“I know, I wonder what’s up with him, I mean, I realized he’s been disappearing lately,” said Hermione. “A couple days ago he came back to the common room all covered in mud.”
Suddenly Ginny burst out laughing.
“What?” Hermione asked. “It’s not that fun-” Ginny cut her off.
“Look over there!” she said and pointed at the other side of the lake. Malfoy was in the lake looking furious. Crabbe and Goyle, who were standing at the edge of the lake, were laughing.
“Oh my, gosh! They pushed him in!” said Hermione, laughing.
Malfoy climbed out of the lake soaking wet. Crabbe and Goyle ran back towards the castle, away form Malfoy. He pulled out his wand and dried himself.
“What are you staring at?” he yelled at some third years who were laughing to, then, he walked back up to the castle, swearing furiously.
“That was the best thing to ever happen to Malfoy!” Ginny said, smiling.
“To bad Harry and Ron weren’t here,” said Hermione thoughtfully. “Where are they, by the way?”
“They’re in detention,” said Ginny, “Professor McGonagall cot them walking to the library after hours.”
“What did they need from the library that they had to get at night?” Hermione asked curiously.
“You, should know,” said Ginny grumpily, “doesn’t Harry tell you everything?”
“Oh, right!” said Hermione, thinking about Horcruxes.
“And I’m supposed to be his girlfriend!” Ginny glared at her.
“Hey, cheer up!” said Hermione and she patted Ginny on the back. AS she said that an owl flew over and landed on Hermione’s shoulder and stuck out his leg which was tied a letter onto it. Hermione untied it. The leader read:
Hermione,
Meet me at the edge of the Dark Forest at 1:00 Am.
Send the owl back with your reply.
Yours forever.
Hermione read it and frowned.
“Ooh! I think someone’s on to you, Hermione!” Ginny giggled after she read the letter.
Hermione blushed.
“Rubbish! Who would like me?” she asked. “I wonder why he wants me to meet him in the Dark Forest though… I hate that place, and at night…” she broke off seeing the look on Ginny’s face.
“You’ll go, won’t you?” she eyed her.
“Well, um…” she frowned.
“Come on, say you’ll go!” said Ginny excitedly.
“Ok, fine!” Hermione said, rolling her eyes at Ginny.
Hermione wrote back her reply and sent it off with the owl.
“Did you send it Draco?” asked the drawling voice of Lucius Malfoy.
“Y-yes, just n-now,” Draco stammered and his voice shook.
“Good, good. Then you know what to do?”
“Yes, but please-”
“We already discussed this, Draco!” he yelled, “now you better go get ready and think where your loyalties belong!”
That night, Hermione dressed in her best clothes. She applied some lip-gloss and curled her hair. She admired herself in the mirror and thought. She wasn’t that pretty but she wasn’t really ugly, she thought to herself.
Twenty minutes later Hermione was crossing Hagrid’s vegetable patch and making her way towards the Dark Forest. She walked all the way towards the edge of the forest but Ron was no where to bee seen. A second later she found herself lying on the floor and ropes rapping themselves around her, almost squeezing her to death. Then out of the shadows of the trees came Draco Malfoy. His wand pointed towards her heart.
“YOU!” she screamed.
“Yes, me, Granger,” he said, his voice cold as ice.
“WHERE’S RON?” she roared.
Malfoy laughed a cold, mirthless sort of laugh.
“You don’t need to worry about that piece of scum, what you should be worrying about is your death, Granger!” he let out a shaky little laugh.
Hermione’s face turned pale as parchment as Malfoy raised a shaky hand and pointed his wand at her.
“NO! WAIT!” she yelled. “I Just want to give you some advice- Pansy told me everything about you” -Malfoy raised his wand higher- “she said you’re the best thing to ever come into her life! She liked you for ages, since you guys were six!” she lied, desperate for time to think of a way out of this.
“You know this isn’t going to do you any good telling me these childish lies, is it?” he sneered and raised his wand-
“Avada-”
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” she cried and tears streamed out of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. “Please!” she begged. Malfoy lowered his wand. His expression was hard to tell.
“Why do you want to kill me, Malfoy?” asked Hermione through tears. “What did I ever do to you that I deserve to be killed?”
Malfoy raised his wand and pointed it at Hermione. Immediately the ropes that were binding her sprang apart and she was able to move. “There, you’re free.”
Hermione sat up and stared up at Malfoy. There was something funny going on. “I don’t understand? Why are you letting me go?”
“Why are you asking questions?” he spat angrily, “I untied you, now go!”
Hermione didn’t move.
Malfoy glared at her through his cold gray eyes. “What do you want from me?” he yelled.
“I’m just trying to understand you!” said Hermione. “At the beginning you torture me and use the Cruciatus curse on me, next day, you help me with a Patronus and tonight, you’re about to kill me and at the last moment you release me and tell me to just go?”
Draco looked at her long and hard.
“Look, I’ve got orders and sometimes…” he trailed off. “Just leave me alone, will you?”
“No. I won’t go!” said Hermione fiercely. “I want to help you.”
Malfoy looked at Hermione disbelievingly and raised his eyebrows.
“Help me by staying away from me!” he glared at her.
“Malfoy, what’s wrong with you?” she yelled at him, “are you mad?”
“Me? Mad?” He pointed towards himself and stared at Hermione like she was the mad one.
“Yes!” said Hermione simply.
“No, no,” said Malfoy shaking his head. “I think you’ve got the wrong person. It’s you who’s mad right now!”
“Forget it!” snapped Hermione and she snatched back her wand from Malfoy, “I’m going!” she stood up and turned to go when Malfoy pulled her back by the hand and she toppled on top of him.
“What are- who’s there-?” Hermione asked shocked.
They heard a rustle in the trees, there was something moving in there.
“Shh!” said Malfoy, his index finger pressed against his lips.
They each pulled out their wands, ready to strike. A moment later they saw gold sparks shoot up and disappear above the clouds. Malfoy pushed himself up and pulled Hermione to her feet.
The second his hand made contact with hers she felt an electric shock shoot up her spine.
“Come,” he whispered to her.
They creped silently around the trees and broke into a light run. They ran through the oak doors, up several flights of stares and all the way to the common room door. They gave the Rich Lady the password and ran inside. Hermione was laughing but Malfoy was frowning and even looking a little scared.
“That was so spooky!” she exclaimed smiling.
“Yeah…Whatever,” he said, his eyes not meeting hers. “Ge’night,” he mumbled and walked past her straight to his room and closed the door. Hermione herd a click that meant the door was locked.
Hermione sighed and decided she two wanted to go to sleep early. For a girl who was almost murdered by her schoolmate then, almost caught by something lurking in the Dark Forest, she sure was a busy girl.

Hey everyone!! I'm really sorry the post that I promised is not up yet. I have been sick since like last Thursday (I know a long time, right?) and today i'm feeling much better but I still have headaches. I tried writing yesterday but I just had to lie down.
