Hello my readers and snitchseeker friends!! As promised I have the next post here!
I just want to say that Ansqu got it right! At first I was thinking of Pansy Parkinson but I changed it and you'll see why... muhaha! Chapter 16: ~ The One and Only ~
Hermione screamed and sprang to her feet. She felt someone grab her by the waist and put a rough hand over her mouth so she would be quiet. Hermione struggled and tried to free herself. She tried to hit the person with her hands but then they were held back to. She tried to kick and free her self but the next think she knew the person through her against the wall making sure her head smashed right into it. She banged into it, fell backwards and lost conciseness.
Hours later her eyes fluttered open and she stared up at a gray cracked ceiling. She wondered where she was and tried to sit up but her hands were binded with thick ropes. Then it all came back to her. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a woman whom she recognized to be Bellatrix Lestrange. She was dressed in a long black cloak with her back to her, talking to another which identical to her whom she figured must me Narcissa Malfoy.
The two were talking to each other in hushed tones and when they realized that Hermione was finally awake, they became silent immediately, as to not give anything secret away.
“So, you are the Mudblood who fell in love with my nephew?” said Bellatrix.
Hermione lay still and kept her mouth shut. She knew what her fate was and fought to keep the tears back.
“Cissy, can you believe this fool fell in love with your son?” she asked her sister.
Narcissa looked insulted at this question and flared her nostrils.
“I do not find that hard to believe, Bella. My son is a very handsome and an attractive boy,” she said admiringly.
Bella ignored her answer and took out her wand instead. She advanced Hermione with a nasty smile spread on her face. That mad smile reminded Hermione of Sirius Black for a second, but she pushed that thought out of her mind.
“What do you want with me?” she asked trembling as Bellatrix got nearer and she had a full view of her.
Bellatrix laughed madly and her long black hair danced from side to side. Narcissa stayed at the other end and did not follow her. Instead she stood with her lips pursed, frowning.
Hermione struggled against the ropes, trying to free herself but it only made Bellatrix laugh louder and harder. Hermione felt all the blood drain out of her face as she realized there was no escape and soon Bellatrix would kill her. Then it hit her. All those times when Draco had been absent or came back to the common room exhausted was because he was working with Voldemort. He had betrayed her. She remembered the time when he had lured her into the forest to kill her but what made him let her go? Did he really have feelings for her? All this was racing through Hermione’s head in just a matter of seconds as Bellatrix laughed.
“You, Mudblood, thought that going out with a Death Eater was a good way of getting your self killed, didn’t you?” Bellatrix asked, her smile fading from her lips.
“Why don’t you just go ahead and kill me?” Hermione said with the courage she had left.
Hermione was satisfied to see that Bellatrix face had actually shown anger.
Bellatrix raised her wand and pointed it at Hermione.
Hermione watched as Bellatrix got closer and closer and closed her eyes tight, waiting for all of it to be over. Then while she waited, nothing happened. Suddenly there were screams and yells and Hermione shot her eyes opened. Standing in the middle of the old room was none other than Draco Malfoy!
He wasn’t alone either. He was with more Death Eaters and to her surprise, the Order of the Phoenix! She saw Lupin, Tonks, Mad- Eye Moody, Kingsley Shacklebot and some others that she had never seen before. Bellatrix was dueling with Tonks, Lupin was dueling Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy, and Mad- Eye Moody was dueling three Death Eaters at once and all the others were dueling with another bunch of Death Eaters that she didn’t recognize.
Hermione tried to push herself away from all the spells and curses but she was bounded tightly to the floor. She tried desperately to move her hands but they too were tied together. There were shouts and yells everywhere but no one seemed to care about Hermione.
She looked around for a sign of Draco, she didn’t no why she really cared if he was alright or not but she looked anyway and didn’t find him.
Then like out of the muggle movies she used to watch, the ropes sprang apart with a green fire and erupted into thin air. Before she even had time to see who finally remembered her, she was pulled to her feet by a rough pair of hands. She looked around and saw Draco smiling down at her.
“Draco, I-” she began but was cut off by a green curse that was coming their way.
“Duck down!” Draco yelled.
He pushed her in front of him and they ran towards the exit.
“Keep running!” he encouraged.
“I am,” she said breathlessly.
Then as they were nearing the exit, there was a loud thunderous noise and black ball of smoke right at the exit. The smoke evaporated revealing the one and only Lord Voldemort.
“I am too late to join the party?” he asked, his red eyes glinting in the darkness.
soo... Yeah, you can kill me... another cliffy!
