He had expected the woman to be startled. But the whole wand poking stomach was not expected. Ow? Legend just blinked, utterly confused as she pushed him against the car.

She was admitting to motor vehicle thief. What? "I don't think your friend continue to be your friend if you steal their car." Friendship didn't work that way.

But jail did. "I'm trying to get into my car. This one. The one you are trying to steal. Not your friends." It was a total lie. Legend didn't have a car and considering the woman was breaking the law he could bring her in but maybe she wasn't a criminal and just stupid?

"What kind of fake, boring friends do you have?" Louisa managed to hide her wand under her blazer's sleeve and still keep the tip on the guy's stomach in case he tried anything funny. Not that she was the thief around here or anything. BUt she did look sorry for him, for not knowing the value and the fun of a TRUE friendship where stealing things was okay.

... wait what, this car was HIS? It definitely made her frown and lean backwards (so she wasn't trapping him against the car that much) to look into the shaded windows. "Y-yours?" But, this was probably Joao's car. She was almost certain of it, she DROVE it few months ago. "You own a sports car?" Which what this was. "Fine. Open it." To make sure he didn't mix this car with his, he could get in and drive it away and she'd be back to stealing Joao's car with no interruptions.

"The kind that have enough sense to value their personal items especially since I could ask and not just steal." Though....would Neptune probably allow him to steal whatever he wanted. Orlando too.....but Katie would would smack him upside the head so his argument held up.

"YUP. Mine!" Legend smiled, teeth showing and everything. He wished he owned a sports car. Though he didn't really know how to drive. That wasn't the point though. The point was that he had now taught the woman a lesson and now she knew better than to go around trying to steal-uh.

Legend pulled out his own wand, making sure to keep an eye on the woman's even though it was tucked away (because you just never knew with crazy people these days). Pointing his wand at the front door he mumbled and unlocking spell, and pulled the door open.

There. See. Ahem. Opened.

... could ask and not just steal? Louisa looked sorrIER for him. Seriously, someone should tell him he'd been fooled his entire life with those rules and regulations. This was NOT how friendships worked. "Aw, that's so sweet. I think I threw up a little in my mouth." She wasn't a Gryffindor or a troublemaker --in her own eyes-- but she sure as heck didn't abide by the rules when she sought out fun.

Anyway. He was so giddy about owning a sports car, such a smug crock. Although it didn't hurt to become acquaintances with a hot an okay-looking, loaded dude. If he was dumb, he'd be her dream come true.

Louisa watched him open his car. And then... nothing. He just stood there. "Well...? Aren't you going to drive it?" She raised her eyebrows at him.

If this car really WAS the woman's friends' then her friend needed some charms in place. Really, anyone could go and steal the car if they knew the right spells. Heck, even Legend was tempted too. Instead he focused on the woman and rolled his eyes."You should get that looked at then. You might have Scrofungulus or maybe even Imalousyfrienditis." Very dangerous. And it seemed like she already had a case of it that was irreversible because you just didn't steal from your friends okay?

"Oh I don't know how to drive." Legend answered nonchalantly as he placed his chin on the top of the open door. With all the MLE training lying just came so much easier to him, and it was awesome. "I have a driver that does all my driving for me."

Louisa's mouth twitched until there was a grin on her face, quickly wiping it off so the guy didn't get all cocky with his jokes. She cleared her throat, all serious and sarcastic again. "Maybe you could take me in your car for a quick check-up." TWO could play this game. Games were fun sometimes, she wasn't a fan of games because she was working to rule the world but taking a break was okay, too. Like right now.

He had a driver? Definitely loaded dude. He didn't seem dumb, though, which was a pity. "But where's the fun in that?" Her face did break out in a smile this time, and she moved closer. "Tell you what, I'll teach you how to have fun with a car like this one. I can drive. Let's get in and do a quick one around the block." Hmm? HMMMM?

She was so tempted to push him in, crawl in herself, and drive them off to sunset wherever. He had five seconds before she'd do that.

OH! She smiled! She did! He saw it. Legend Chosen was clearly so awesome that he could make thieves laugh during a crime. Someone give him an award please. His own smile grew as his eyes remained on the woman. Car...check up....what? A faint blush grew over his cheeks. "I would. But I'm not a healer. Plus, my friends need me. I can't risk catching your disease."

"It's fun because I don't crash my very expensive car and die." Not dying was often fun. And not crashing his fake sports car seemed like even more fun. It wasn't until she moved closer did his smile slightly fade. Uh. Getting into this car which may or may not have been her friends, even just driving it around the block would be classified as stealing.

Legend Chosen did not- no- could not steal. He didn't go through all that Auror training just to get in trouble! "I mean-we can do that. But I don't even know your name yet." Stalling. Staaallling. He needed a plan, and his Gryffindor brain just was not working right now.

The faint blush didn't go unnoticed. Louisa, for ONCE, didn't mean to talk dirty but now that the guy had a darker color to his cheeks, she smirked and was a little smug that even if she was literal, her subconscious did the dry, kinky joking for her. "Very chivalrous, fearing for your health over a damsel's. I bet you don't get many girls with this smooth talking." Just saying.

Louisa made a dramatic roll of her eyes as he described his idea of 'fun'. "Oh for the love of Merlin, you need to loosen up a little." She decided for him, already coming up with ideas to show him how you had fun on expense of others. It wasn't that she was a bully, noooo, but she had a special way of going about with her friendships. Joao was for stealing and annoying, Vashti was for advice and girl talk, Treyen was for expensive presents and sweet talk, Paulie was for adventures and crazy talk...etc. This guy over here had this friendship thing all wrong.

She was standing exactly in front of him with only the car's door between them. "Louisa Carter. Your brand new driver. I'm even dressed for it. You?" She wasn't fussed with names, but since he was so hung up on it and if it would get him to let her teach him how to drive then hey, by all means tell us your name. And then they'd be off!

Get girls? Right. Legend's smile faded completely, and he pulled away from the door as he straightened up. "No I don't get any at all. Nor do I want them." Girls, or dates, he wasn't looking so being more concerned with himself was completely okay.

Loosen up? She was telling Gryffindor's poster child himself to loosen up? A laugh escaped his lips and his smile appeared once more "Alright. Sure. You teach me how to loosen up a bit madam car thief." This would be entertaining.

"Legend Chosen. We have the same initials but clearly I am cooler than you." Since he was such a better friend. And apparently richer too since, ahem, check out his fake car thank you very much. He considered giving the woman a fake name but why? Glancing at the car he looked back at Louisa. Then the car. Then Louisa. Getting into the car with her meant that he would be an accomplice to thief. Thief that she didn't even realize she would be committing because she thought it was HIS. Huh. "You know this isn't really my car right?"

"But sure let's get in!"

Whoa, hit on a touchy subject it seemed. Louisa kept her face expression the same as his fell to a serious look. He either played for the other team or got his heart mercilessly broken by a girl. "I see." Was all she said to that. Pushing boundaries too much on first encounter was not advisable, not even to her.

Oh-kaaaay, what was that laugh for? She was going to teach him how to loosen up alright. She was going to teach Legend Chosen how to loosen up. Legend Chosen. Now she laughed when he said his name. "Seriously? Your name is Legend Chosen?" Was it just her or did this name kick butt? "You have cooler parents," 'cause his initials stood for cooler name. "Not sure about you being cooler than I am. You don't know how to drive or friend people, for one." Ha!

... wait, what. She blinked and frowned at him. NO, she did not know this wasn't his car. Louisa poked her head between him and the open door to take a look inside. "This is Joao's car." She announced, annoyed at him for LYING, but she didn't want him to leave. Now that they had a completely lie-loaded conversation, she was interested in this Legend Chosen. "Get in." She pushed him inside, and kept pushing him so he could slide over to the passenger seat.

Well it was good that she saw since they weren't talking about it anymore! He stiffly nodded at her, though he didn't really know why. Was he thanking her for not pushing the subject orrrr just trying to look cool?

Probably both.

"That's my name. Don't wear it out! Or- actually you can! It will probably make me more famous." He should really get everyone to go around saying his name. He could be the next big thing that way, without really even DOING anything. He would have commented in the whole 'parents giving him a cooler name' thing but uh- he SO knew how to do stuff that DID make him cooler."I know how to drive extreme motocross vehicles." And THAT was the truth. They were actually FUN to drive. "So a car can't be that far off. Plus, you're the one with Imalousyfrienditis" So she was not even at his level.

Well....she took it better than how he has expected. "Who's Joao?" Was he suppose to know this Joao? He couldn't even ask because before he knew it she was using her little bony hands and pushing him in the car! Wait they were still going driving!? Crawling into the passenger seat without any protest Legend glanced over. "If this is some lame attempt at kidnapping me you should know that i'm still super rich and famous and people will come looking for me really soon enough." Just so she knew.

Make him MORE famous? Louisa slammed the door shut with a loud snort!chuckle. "I can safely bet the farm you'd be in Gryffindor." If he went to Hogwarts. He was a typical lion, why did she stumble upon those so often? Hmm? It wasn't like she had anything in common with those bunch. Slytherins, on the other hand, woohoo whew, quite the intense folks. But wait, maybe he WAS a Slytherin in disguise.

... extreme motocross? Now he got her attention. She started the car, but didn't move them just yet, instead she looked at him sideways, REALLY looked at him all intense and inquisitive-like. Was he lying like he did early? Hmm? HMM? How was she supposed to believe anything he said now? "Of course you do." She mocked, deciding not to take any chances that made her look like an idiot again. Anything was okay with her EXCEPT looking like an idiot, that was a no-no for any Ravenclaw.

The car lurched forward, twice! Before Louisa got it under control and sped them across the empty street with a broad grin on her face. "Joao Neves. The guy we're stealing this car from." Her hands were grabbing the wheel so tightly her knuckles turned white, and they continued at high speed until they reached a turn. Louisa pressed hard on the breaks, the car went whirling round and round and roooooound and screeching, and if she wasn't holding on to the wheel she would've landed in Legend's lap from how strong they both must've jumped in their seats.

When the car finally came to a stop, Louisa was a little out of breath but a smirk was plastered on her face as she looked at her companion. No, she wasn't here to kidnap him, she was here to kill him have fun and let off some steam in a non-harmful way.

Bet the farm? "You have a farm?" Like, what? Maybe that's why she didn't know how to be friends with people. She was a weird farming girl. Anywhoo, "You wouldn't lose your farm though because, Gryffindor, I am." King Gryffindor actually. At least back in his day.

Legend would have held his hand out except Louisa seemed to be ready to hit the road. And ready to be sarcastic. Full of that. Legend just smiled innocently. WAS he telling the truth? Hmmm? She would never know. Though he totally was telling the truth this time. He was even about to respond with his own clever comment but then the car started dying?

Oh wait.

No.

That was Louisa trying to get it going.

It should have been an indication for Legend to get out of the car before before he could even reach for the handle they were OFF. The car took off with such high speeds, someone CLEARLY did not know what a speed limit was. One minute they were going so fast that Sonic the hedgehog would approve and the next they were turning and Legend lurched forward in attempting to grip the dashboard but failed. Then he was being thrown to his right side, and then his left side and then he was STARTING to think that the next place he'd end up was through the windshield if the car hadn't come to a stop.

The blonde took a moment, to catch his breath before looking at the skilled driver. "You should never be allowed to drive. Anywhere. Ever again. Not even on your farm. Not even if you are the only person on the road. Not even if you are the last person on earth. Not even if there was a choice of a chipmunk driver or you. No. Never." Seatbelts were invented because people like her. "Let's switch, because I don't think death was in my plans for today." HE could drive better, alright?

Louisa gotta hand it to her companion, he was truly a brave one. First ride with her and he didn't even scream or throw himself out the window. Dude was a Gryffindor alright, if not for this, it was for the fact that he took her words so literally. "Gryffindor to the bone." She commented with a roll of her eyes at his spiel of disapproval. "This is a sports car, this is how you drive them! They're built for this reason." Joao just didn't know how to enjoy them, and he didn't want her to show him so yes. Legend had the honor to.

He wanted to drive now? She gave him a long look. Just STARED at him to make sure he was not going to wreck Joao's car. "Okay. About time somebody taught you anyway." She unbuckled her seatbelt and gestured for him to rise so she could slide in his seat. "Rules of driving Joao's car; You don't break anything, and I mean anything," She glared at him. "Unless you can afford fixing it." The guy, as it turned out, was not loaded after all. Pity. "You don't speak of driving Joao's car because if he knows I let a stranger touch his wheel, he'll kill me. His girlfriend's in the MLE team, she can cover up his crime easily." Aspen was ingenious, much to Louisa's dismay.

GOT IT?? Now. "Good thing about this car is it's automatic, it's child's play. That over there is the gas pedal, and the one next to it is the brakes." There. She taught him...

YUP! Gryffindor to the BONE! Legend grinned happily at that assessment, despite the fact that Lousia obviously had not meant it as a compliment. But how could it not be? How could calling someone a Gryffindor even be a bad thing? It was awesome.

"If everyone drives their sports cars like that there won't be any left on the road." Or anyone left to drive them for that matter.

Uh, staring. Legend stared right back, green eyes unblinking, unsure if they were having a staring contest or if the driver had suffered some sort of concussion as a result of her driving and was doing what concussed people did. "Yes!" He clenched his fist and stood not worrying about taking off his seatbelt-probably because he didn't put it on before awkwardly trying to climb into the drivers seat. He pretended to listen to the rules, but he wasn't really. When did Legend EVER listen to rules after all? "I'm not a stranger. Legend Chosen remember?" They had said names, pleasantries and all that. They were practically friends now, or would be if she didn't have Imalousyfrienditis.

"MLE?" His brows went up. Thaaat was interesting. "Does this girlfriend of his have a name?" Because Merlin if it was Emily he was getting out of this car about four blocks ago.

Gas. Breaks. "You should be a driving instructor." Expect not. People would die. Legend looked out of his window before pressing his foot on the gas, and gunning it down the street.

Louisa rolled her eyes again at how much he was GRINNING at that Gryffie comment, though she was trying hard not to smile too widely. Dorky people, those Gryffindor bunch were. "Oh please." Although she did agree with him on this. She wasn't an illogical person. "I don't always drive like that, it's just when I need to... uhh.. let loose a little. The street is empty." Sinking in a little in her passenger seat and fastening her seatbelt.

Not a stranger, ha ha ha. "Yeah, no one's heard of you Legend Chosen. You need to be on the celebrity radar. Or the criminal radar." He looked like neither. Louisa wasn't even trying to offend him, she was just pointing out the truth. "Aspen Odessa." She nodded at him, did he believe her when she said Joao would kill him and Aspen would cover for him? Was this why he was interested in his girlfriend? Did she just accidentally got Aspen on his hit list? And most importantly, should she warn her former arch-enemy?

There was no time to think, though, because he shot a sarcastic thing at her before pushing on the gas pedal and off they flew went! Louisa chuckled, holding on to the door's hand and her seat, her hair was no longer up in the neat pony tail...

... "Breaks... breaks, now now NOW!" She tugged on his sleeve frantically, staring at the wall they were dangerously getting closer to!

She didn't always drive like that? Uhuh. Probably the only did she didn't drive like that was when the actual owner was in the car.

Wait...so he wasn't on the celebrity radar? Sigh. He knew he should have gotten into modelling. Though Aurors had to be secrect and all that so YEAH. He wasn't known on purpose.

ASPEN?! Haha. The owners girlfriend was not Emily. This made Legend go even faster. The girlfriend was just slightly strange but otherwise harmless Aspen Odessa. Well sort of harmless. Okay...maybe he wasn't so sure about that. "I know Aspen." Legend responded happily, pedal basically pressed to the ground.. That meant NO repercussions for breaking the vehicle. "I work with her all the time. We're sort of partners." Sort of. Like it wasn't a definite thing but he could STAND her to work with her if need be.

Oh, and Legend saw the wall. And heard the screaming. And felt the tugging. But he just drove on, ignoring any and ALL talks of breaking.

Closer to the wall, closer to the wall cloooooser clooooooooooooser until suddenly he stepped on the breaks causing the car to skid to a halt less than a metre away from the very nicely placed brick wall. He turned his head and gazed at his fellow car thief before cleaning his throat. "SEE? THAT IS HOW YOU DRIVE!" Now that, that was cleaned up, Legend gazed behind him and switched gears before slowly backing the car up in reverse.

He knew Aspen?? He WORKED with Aspen?? As PARTNERS?? Louisa's dropped jaw couldn't get any lower, but there were more important things to take care of at the moment, like how she was going to die next to a complete, arrogant, dorky stranger with a not-so-bad hair. Her hand, the one that was tugging on his sleeve, clutched his arm tightly and she might or might not have buried her face into his elbow.

SCREEEEEEEEEECH

The seatbelt dug into her stomach and chest when she felt the car struggle to stop and almost shot her out the windshield window. By the time he stopped and shouted in her face, Louisa had caught her breath and let go of his stupid arm. "You're crazy. This isn't driving, this... this.." Oh Merlin's beard he was still driving! She looked back behind them, making sure there was no wall where he was going then looked back at him with a scolding expression. "What if you couldn't stop it on time, huh?? You don't drive AT walls, I have no intention in dying yet, the world will miss my upcoming achievements. Oi, stop it, what are you doing now?" Louisa placed her hands on the wheel TOO and tried to gain control of the car again. Gryffindors were not to be trusted.

Yeah. She was right. That WASN'T driving. "I guess it's just driving when Louisa Carter is your instructor." Legend responded happily, still gazing behind him as the car moved slowly in reverse. He would have been doing good too if Louisa hand't grabbed the wheel. So instead of debating Legend simply pressed his foot against the break.

HE had all the control of the hunk of metal that they were current in, okay"If I didn't stop in time. Then we'd both be dead. But at least that would be a pretty cool way to go!" With your heart thumping, in a fancy sports car.

Seemed pretty cool.

"Plus I didn't drive at the wall. I was driving and the wall got in my way." What was that wall thinking HUH? Just appearing in his way like that while he was so busy driving. Especially since the woman beside him hadn't taught him a thing about turning. Very rude wall. Very rude. "And I was trying to reverse so we wouldn't actually hit the car." Duh. Did she even know what reversing was?

Louisa glared at him sideways. Was he cracking jokes after that near-death experience with JOAO's car no less? Consider her unimpressed, even if it was kinda funny. She knew better than to indulge him, Gryffindors liked to push boundaries and test their limits. Louisa didn't want to test anything in Joao's car, okay? Okay. "Right." His definition of 'a cool way to go' was so twisted she simply let go of the wheel and sank back in her seat. "I knew it. I just knew that my end would be on the Gryffindors' hands I surround myself with." Alexa was her best bet closely followed by Paulie but a stranger Gryffindor? She did not see that one coming.

The wall got in his way? The wall got-- Louisa laughed humorlessly at that, blatantly pointing out how stupid she thought he was by the looks she was giving him. "Okay, okay. How about we... just.. park this back where it was and... die another day?" If she sounded like she was talking to a little kid, then it was deliberate. She was talking to a kid, in her head.

... she had a better idea, actually. A smirk appeared on her face and replacing the sour look and she grabbed his arm to get his attention. "Wait. What if... we leave Joao a small present letting him know we were here?" Hmm? HMMM? Just imagine the look on Joao's hot face when he finds out someone has been in his precious baby car. Bahahaha!

Louisa loved her mind and its thinking process.

Well if she knew that then why did she even surround herself with Gryffindors? Clearly the woman before him was not a Raveclaw. And if she was well, even magical hats made mistakes sometimes. Legend just struggled and continued to back up until they were far enough away.

The little kid talking went right over his head. Probably because he was so used to it. "Sounds good to me. I figure I can find more interesting ways to die. I was really just trying to help you out." Putting the car in drive he quickly made a U-turn.

Annnd she grabbed his arm again. "Hey-let go, you're so touchy" Shaking his arm he sighed. He always seems to be around THOSE types, gosh. "A presents like......" That smirk did not look good at all. Maybe she was the face of bad friends and evil?

Help her out? Louisa laughed, genuinely laughed at this. "You have a very interesting perspective on life." She deducted, looking up at him and not the road now that she sorta kinda trusted him behind the wheel. "It is worth inspecting closely." His perspective. That was a huge compliment coming from her. Only she didn't mean it as a compliment, she was pointing it out.

But did he just call her touchy? DID HE? She laughed even more now, it was not because this was funny but because it was ironic. "You think this--" She patted his arm. "--is touchy?" Oh Merlin have mercy on him then. "I haven't unleashed the real me yet and you think I'm touchy. This is so fun." Smirking, Louisa watched him park the car in a neat way, much neater than the way she would've done it. Ahem. But she wasn't going to admit it.

Moving on to more important things. Presents and such. "... like.. I don't know.. we can charm the seats to holler 'SURPRISE!' once he sits in? My voice, he wouldn't recognize yours and might take it too seriously." Joao already took everything too seriously.

"Thanks! It keeps me sane." Legend smiled back at the crazy woman beside him as he turned a corner making their way back to where the car had been parked in the first place. "Dunno how you'd do that. But as long as I get to keep my brain then sure." Inspect away.

Arm pat. Legend tensed. "Well I don't really know you. And you are touching me. So yeah. Touchy." You didn't just go around TOUCHING Auror's okay? Although this one didn't know he was an Auror but still.....you didn't just go around touching Legend Chosen. As he parked the car he dropped his hands from the steering wheel and looked over at Louisa all smug like. So much better at driving than you seeee? "Don't think i want to meet you real you then." Not if it involved more touching, and crazy driving.

"You're a horrible friend. You definitely need to go through retraining." Maybe a month long course on how to be a friend. Though Legend didn't say anything about NOT charming the seats....so...."What if you charm the seats to yell surprise whenever he sits down?"Like ALL the time. Hehehe.

Louisa's mouth was pulled to the side in small smile. "Good deal." His brain was no good to her unlatched to his head so, yes, he got to keep it. And she didn't mean inspecting as in experimenting on in a lab, for Merlin's sake it was like NO ONE understood what she said, NO ONE. This was sad and frustrating.

She didn't care about his tension when she patted his arm. An arm pat was nothing, and she didn't care if he found her too touchy for a stranger either. "That just makes me want to show you the real me even more." If he didn't want to, it was a challenge and she loved challenges and making people... uncomfortable, for lack of better word. This was probably the best and only opportunity for him to bolt from the car.

Again with the twisted, boring definition of friendship. This boy never had fun with friends, Louisa deducted from his behavious and comments. "Yeah, yeah, I leave training to people like you." Cue a sarcastically sweet smile. Wait, what, she was confused now, he DID want to charm the seats? A FOREVER kinda charm too? She laaaaughed, "Ohhh Joao will kill me if I do that, no no, no. I don't want him to get really mad, I just want to tickle his big ego a little."

Pause.

"And hey! If I'm a horrible friend, then what are you? Doing this to a stranger's car and blaming his friend for it?" He was a horrible wizard, that's what. Buuuuuurn. Hehhh.

Olly was hanging out right outside the Ministry waiting for someone. No she was not a creeper but she HAD done her research. So she was in fact waiting for one particular person to help her out with something. Hopefully her timing was correct and she hadn't missed her again. This was her fifth day doing this and she'd decided that tomorrow she was just going to go in and ask for an appointment directly.

So hopefully she'd see her today. Seeing as she was not TOO keen on the official appointment option.

Leaning against the side of the phone booth, Olly watched the people passing by her. Nope. None of them looked like the one she was looking for. She was trying to ignore the feeling of anxiety building up inside her. This was important. And she at least wanted to give it a try.
