I'm back from Montana and, though exhausted, ready to get things moving! How are all our new department heads handling their new jobs? You guys managing things? Any questions/problems?

Well....my division heads are in the process of updating their lists of active people. Plot-wise, I've asked for them to wrap up any current side-plots they may have and to participate in the election plot (told them that we'd start plotting in mid-July).

And we're all supporting the blonde Reagan.

Reagan's only a part-time blonde (light for the summers!)

She's getting grilled by a journalist in the Street! EEEEK!

Bwaha ... At least half of my division heads, along with myself, are Independent campaign. But then again, should that really come as a surprise?

Minister's Office is split pretty evenly 3 ways... not really surprising either.

Oh, and does anyone remember which department Si was in when she was RPing in the Ministry?

It's more so a question for Matt

I've been talking to MeridithRodneyMcKay a lot lately...we RP our school charries together..anyway, she's often said that she really doesn't know what she is supposed to be doing in her division...but she doesnt want to keep asking you, because she doesn't want to seem like shes not being creative...Anyway, my suggestion to her was to ask her division head if she wanted to know what she could do as a change from asking you...but she says her division head hasnt been on since May, so I decided that I'd just ask you that way if she brings it up again I can help her!

First of all thanks for bringing this issue to me. I wonder why she didnt ask me about this earlier. She dont need to feel shy about asking anything related to MoM and site to me. Well..I know the staffs' job is not fixed one and quite confusing if they are not in constant touch with either their division head or department head. I've been RP with her in Brian's office to keep her active and encourage her as much as I could.

And the division head issue will be sorted out in a week since I issued my staffs a mass PM and asked about their availability. I'll try my best to guide her.

I don't know if she really felt shy about addressing you, I think she just meant that she didn't want to keep asking you things

We really need everyone to contribute to the QWC planning thread sooner rather than later because this plot is going to start very soon and we need to have a timeline in place before it does; therefore we need to have ideas for EVERY department from the start. I expect that ALL department heads will at least contribute to their OWN department's plans, and hopefully to others as well.

Be sure to edit into the planning thread when you post your ideas, and then bump the thread so we know someone new has posted. My plan/goal is to sit down this weekend and develop the timeline, so that gives a few more days to contribute before the initial plan is drawn up. Soooo... plan! Plan! Plan!

There is so much for us to do and time's ticking away.


On a different note, the Gobstones Tournament/Fiasco is scheduled for August (yay! we're FINALLY doing it!) I'll make sure to send 'owls' to each level with the date of the game, etc. after getting some sleep. But I'd love to see some support in the Stands.

Soorrryyy... I've been working latee too often and then getting up relatively early... so yea, I'm like sooo dead right now, But I'm going to make a HUGE effort to offer my contributions tomorrow night. =)



In other news, i wanted to know what you all think about Department Heads having an assistant? Good? Bad? I know I had one on Level Six when i was Head there; mostly because the previous Head of Level Seven had one and I think there may have been another... But I just wanted some honest opinions on the subject of Dept Heads having assistants since i think it's something that should be kept relatively consistent... =)
